Hello Lovely's, sorry for the wait for the next chapter. It's been a rather rough month for me...but here I am with Chapter 14 for you all. I hope you enjoy!
Hopefully Chapter 15 will be posted today as well.
The room remained dark with only the hue of Caroline's cellphone lighting the path towards Bonnie. Both girls couldn't comprehend what was happening, in a millisecond they were having fun to the trio showing up at the house. Mistakenly Bonnie had let them in without thinking of the consequences. She should have thought about what would happen before instead of just inviting them in as if they were her best friends once again.
Breaking the thoughts Caroline cleared her throat "So, do you remember his number?" she whispered while glancing at the door as if thinking it would open at any given moment.
Shaking her head Bonnie's face became sullen "Why would I remember it when it's already in my phone?"
"Shit…" was the only word that escaped before they heard the loud thud come from the hall.
Jumping in her spot she looked over at Caroline who remained standing against the wall "Can't we just leave?" Bonnie asked with a tilt of her head to the side, surely they would let them go; this was her cabin after all.
"It's not that easy. When you and Jeremy came upstairs Elena and Stefan were talking about someone taking something away from them, and that they would do whatever was necessary to get it back…" pausing she looked over at Bonnie "You don't know what it could be, do you? I mean why else would they come here."
Damon, was the first thought that came to her mind. Why else would they be here keeping her hostage from Klaus, or anyone at that moment. Rolling her eyes Bonnie shook her head as if Caroline could see through the darkness "The only thing I can think of at this moment is that I'm with Klaus, and they've never been happy about that…Maybe that has something to do with it?" "Still seems weird…" Caroline mumbled while walking towards the door.
"What are you doing?" Bonnie hissed through clenched teeth.
"You'll see" Caroline merely smiled as she knocked on the door three times one after another. Bonnie remained silent as she sat watching Caroline hash out a plan while she waited for the door to open. Seconds passed until the door opened and Jeremy appeared "What do you want?" he growled.
"I have to use the bathroom, and the only one in this house is across the hall." She met his equally menacing tone as she brushed passed him. Bonnie watched intently until Jeremy slowly began to close the door leaving her in the darkness once again.
"What the hell is going on?" asking herself this important question she reached over to turn the lamp on causing the room to illuminate. There had to be a simple explanation, beside the obvious reason of Damon being killed. They wouldn't just come here because of that, would they? On top of that lock her in a room as they did god knows what in her cabin.
From outside Bonnie heard the soft voices and Caroline ask something which Stefan replied "Caroline…I can't do that." Obviously her plan was in attack mode.
"But he needs to know she's okay, so come on Stefan." Caroline countered "I promise she'll give it right back." Bonnie could only imagine the doe eyes Caroline was giving to Stefan to make this work.
A heavy sigh escaped Stefan and then small whispers followed. Bonnie swore he said something along the lines "and Elena will come with you." But she wasn't one hundred percent with that one.
The sound of muffled footsteps leaving the front of the door Bonnie knew that the plan Caroline had may actually work, and with that she would be ready for them. Taking the moment of being alone she stood and walked over to the closed closet. For years she had kept a small collection of books hidden within the depths in case she were to ever need them, and this moment was as good as anything other. "Where are you?" whispering she moved boxes on top of boxes until she found the small box that contained her books.
"Yes!" Smiling she held the box close to her chest and walked back the bed. Gingerly she placed the box in top of the bed, she needed something to protect her, and it had to be simple. Flipping from page to page, everything required items she didn't have access too. Slamming the first book closed she moved onto the next, and the one after that with the same results "Damnit!" she swore louder than intended which caused the door to creak open slightly and Jeremy to pop his head in to see what was happening "You okay?" he asked looking around the room to see if something had fallen.
"I'm fine…" she mumbled, and then the thought came to her. The one thing she promised herself she would stop doing. Smiling she looked over at Jeremy "Actually there is something…" tucking the chocolate strands of hair behind her ear she walked towards Jeremy who held the door open.
"I can't let you out, so get that thought out of that pretty head of yours." He grumbled, and turned back to walk into the hallway.
Just as the door began to close, Bonnie reached forward "No, it's not that…I just…now that the liquor is pretty much out of my system I've had some time to think…" pausing she watched as the door began to open once again.
Poking his head back into the room he looked at Bonnie "Think about what?" he asked warily.
She almost had him, stepping closer until her hip rest against the dresser that sat mere feet away from the door, she whispered "About us. You were right to say that he would get bored of me. I mean he's not even here with me…that must say something." Bonnie twisted the loose strand of hair that fell out of place as she looked down at the ground attempting to look hurt.
Seeing her small frame cave in on itself Jeremy opened the door wider, and walked towards hers "I was angry when I said that…" he whispered the words as his hands found their spot against her hips "I was never once bored of you when we were together…" moving his hand from her hip, and delicately placing it onto her chin to cause her to look up he gave a weak smile "I'm sorry for all of the nasty things I've said to you."
She wanted to jump out of her own skin once Jeremy's hands grazed over her, but, she needed to do this "I forgive you…" she said breathlessly as she stood on top of her tippy toes.
"Ah, baby girl…" leaning down slightly he captured Bonnie's lips with his. The kiss lingered until he felt the warm hands of Bonnie rest against his forearms, and that was what set up him off.
The kiss was cute at first, the small missed pecks on the lips was as if two lovers finally found their way back home. But, it never did last for long once it lead to the wet smacking sounds that made her cringe and his tongue darted in and out of her mouth like one of those whack a mole games. But, she remained in the zone as they clumsily moved from the door to the bed.
"God I've missed this…" he mumbled against her lips as he guided her to lay down on top of the bed "I've missed us…" he continued breaking the kiss to comfortably lay between her opened legs.
"I…" she fought the words to come out "I've missed us too, Jere." She finished off her words with a soft smile that hopefully hid what she really had in mind for him.
"Who knew we would rekindle our relationship on the same bed you gave yourself to me." He said trying to sound romantic, but the words spewed out like venom.
"Funny how things work out…" smiling she grabbed a hold of the hem of his shirt to pull him into her once again to stop him from saying anything else. Their lips found their spot, and soon followed Jeremy's hands running against her clothed shirt and over her breasts. She fought the urge to push him off the only person who should be doing these things was one vampire by the name of Klaus not her ex-boyfriend who enjoyed tormenting her.
"Jere…" she said trying to sound sexy "I still have some…" tilting her head upwards towards the end table she let his mind wander as the wicked grin appeared.
"Is that what you want, Bonnie? To feel how a human should be and not a vampire." He hissed as if he was about to explode in his spot.
Biting her bottom lip she looked down "It's just not the same…" whispering she stole a glance to see the gleam in Jeremy's eyes as she spoke her words.
Licking his bottom lip he gave a crooked smile "Grab them baby girl. I'll help you remember what it's like." Propping himself off the bed, he spun around to undress himself as Bonnie reached towards the nightstand, where the lamp, and alarm clock sat. Swallowing hard she opened the drawer to reveal its empty compartment. Quietly she whispered "I will never give myself to you, Jere…" she unplugged the alarm clock and swung it hard against his head causing him to collapse on the floor in one loud thump.
Giving only a moment to look down to see if Jeremy had indeed been knocked out she sprung off the bed and ran towards the door before anyone came by. Quickly and as quietly she sprinted towards the door and flung it open, confident with her escape she looked up momentarily before hearing the menacing feminine laugh from Elena "Where do you think you're going?"
Spinning around she shook her head as a small plead escaped "Please, let me just go, Elena. I will get whatever it is you want just let me do it on my own terms."
Clicking her tongue Elena stepped from the house onto the porch where Bonnie stood "I'm sorry, I can't. You see, we have a set of rules that we must uphold, and that means you have to stay here until your saviors comes."
Fighting the tears from appearing Bonnie began to shake, this was not Elena her friend would never do this to her and that's when she saw it. The necklace that always sat neatly against her neck wasn't there "Who are you?" she asked completely ignoring the words from the impostor Elena.
"Oh Bon come on, I'm Elena your friend…The one who always looks after you, and cleans up the mess you find yourself in." she growled, taking another step forward Bonnie stood face to face with Elena "Now let's get you inside." Taking a hold of her wrist Elena began to pull Bonnie back into the house with ease.
"No! Get off of me!" she yelled and fought from her grasp to no avail.
"Fine we'll do it this way." Growling she reached forward to the a vase that sat against the house, and in one mighty swing she brought it down onto Bonnie's head causing her collapse onto the wooden floor, just as Jeremy had moments before.
