onnie stood in the concrete mausoleum that sat in the middle of the Mystic Falls cemetery with all supplies placed in their respected spots as she waited for Stefan, Katherine and whomever show up. She'd be lying if her nerves weren't fluttering a mile a minute. The thought of actually going against her 'friends' tore her emotions and nerves into two. A part of her wanted to believe that what had transpired only a few days ago was just a dream and at this moment she were in her bed sleeping sound and safe. It was a foolish thought, but it was the only she'd be able to follow through with the plan that Elijah and Klaus had hatched. Their plans seemed simple, get the group to enter the dingy room, exit as fast as possible and at the proper moment Klaus and his family would come from the shadows to take control while she stood and watched. From the plan it seemed simple, they would get what they wanted which she still was unsure and throughout the past days she'd tried to pry a response from Klaus who would shrug it off and leave with Elijah.

Leaning against the concrete casket with both elbows bracing her body a thought had occurred. From the moment Elijah had taken control Klaus had become distant, and every time they were alone Elijah would plant himself in between them. Even to this evening when they had finally hugged for what seemed like weeks though days Elijah had been there to direct her towards the small concrete building. Lifting a hand to rub her thumb against the bottom of her lip a sigh escaped, the last time his lips had been pressed against hers was the night they'd come up with the plan. Dropping her hand to shake the thoughts this was not the time to think about Klaus. She needed to focus on the task at hand, and then she'd be free to do whatever her thoughts had in store.

The sound of crackling leafs brought her to attention, standing up straight she watched as Stefan entered first with a worried expression plastered against his face "I got your text. He didn't hurt you, did he?" he gave her a noticeable once over look to see that she was unharmed and as she nodded that she was fine he sighed and nodded his head "Good. " at the moment Katherine had entered with a bored expression plastered across her face.

"Bonnie" she spat out "Why do I feel like this is some sort of game." Slowly she began to step closer to Bonnie until she stood mere inches away from her as she gave her a skeptical once over "I'm not sure if you were glamoured because if you recall three days ago we had you trapped and now all of a sudden you want our help."

Shaking her head, Bonnie moved towards the door "It's just that…I didn't know what to do and I need answers." She looked over at Stefan expecting him to know exactly what she was talking about.

"And what kind of answers were you looking for?" Katherine asked as she ran a finger against the concrete casket.

Willing herself to let the tears stream down her face she gave a pleading look towards Stefan "Just tell me where Elena is. Please."

Stefan sighed as he looked from Katherine who gave a shake her head to indicate not to say anything. Ignoring the look he glanced back towards Bonnie as he gave a small reassuring smile "She's at the house. She's always been there. I'm sorry for not telling you earlier. You just have to understand that Klaus would do anything to get his hands on her. I needed to protect her."

Katherine had taken that moment to smack Stefan across the chest as she cursed at him "You idiot, she's working with Klaus and you just go about telling her where she is? Jesus Stefan…"

"I trust her Katherine. She'd never do anything to hurt us even after all the shit you'd put us through." He spat back which started a full argument between the two which gave Bonnie enough time to slip out of the mausoleum without being noticed. Hearing the way he'd stood up for her as they argued caused a small pain of regret surge through her body. Was she doing the right thing?

Without a moment of hesitation Klaus was by her side with the rest behind them. Bending down she could feel his breath against her ear as he whispered "You did good, now let us take it from here."

Closing her eyes she nodded and moved out of the way just as Stefan focused on the group and barked out a "What did you do?" as he tried to exit the small building to defend himself.

Katherine spoke from behind him as she gave an exaggerated laugh "I told you. She trapped us and now we're sitting here like fish on land. I can't believe I let you take control." Moving him aside she smacked against the invisible force field as she screamed obscenities.

Bonnie only watched as Klaus took a step closer with a wicked smile displayed against his once handsome face "I told you not to mess with me. I told you to leave me and my family alone but you didn't listen and instead here you both are…"

Stefan gave a pleading look towards Bonnie "Don't let this happen. We're your friends and they're not. Please Bonnie please don't let this happen." His voice was shallow as he now began to smack against the invisible wall.

"Shush!" Klaus boomed loud enough that a pair of birds that once nestled in the tree beside them flew out "She chose me, and not you. Bonnie is with us so I'd recommend that you close that filthy mouth of yours before she does something unthinkable." Glancing beside him to look over at Bonnie his smile now soft and comforting "Aren't I right Bonnie?"

It was as if she was compelled by the way she had nodded her head in agreement and lovingly replied with a "I'd do anything for you."

Turning his attention back towards the two he smiled proud "See, she'd do anything for Me." He'd repeated her words with menace as he tapped the side of the concrete mausoleum "now what to do with you both."

He looked over at Bonnie who had a glazed over look as she smiled lovingly towards Klaus "You gave her something…" Stefan spoke silently as if figuring out exactly what he'd done as if he were there the night they'd made the plan and Klaus had poured his potion he'd refused to use in the past and throughout the days after that he'd increased the dosage all the while Bonnie drank the drinks happily.

"Now why would you think that?" he asked innocently "I don't want to alarm you but I fancy this girl quite a bit and believe or not Salvatore she fancies me right back." Glancing back towards Bonnie he gave her a genuine smile. Bonnie just stood there and smiled back at him with just as much admiration.

Looking between Bonnie and Klaus he shook his head "You're a liar and when Damon gets back he'll find a way to clear her mind." Stefan retorted as if Klaus hadn't thought of that outcome.

Turning his attention back to Stefan, Klaus had pouted dramatically until a devilish smile appeared "Now what makes you think Damon is out of town?" Looking over Stefan's shoulder he continued "He's been here the whole time, you must have missed him."

Stefan's eyes widened and Katherine squealed out a 'no' as they both turned their backs towards the group as they lifted the concrete lid of the casket. To their horror Damon lie still with a sickly grey shade against his once tanned skin with the knife firmly planted in between his chest. "Damon" Stefan forced out as pulled out the dagger "it's going to be okay" he whispered just as Klaus barked out a laugh.

"Oh Stefan everything will not be alright." He spat out a laugh just as the hue of torches illuminated the area from behind him.

Bonnie as if waking from a dream began to shake her head as she watched the group with torches "What are going to do?" she'd asked Klaus in hopes he'd give her an honest answer.

He'd simply looked over his shoulder towards her gave a weak smile as he hiked his thumb towards the road "Go find Elena, Bonnie. I won't hurt them. I told you I wouldn't." he'd paused and moved fast as light to cup her cheeks in his hands as he bent down to press a kiss against her lips "I love you Bonnie. I promise you they will come out of this alive and we will live our life together, just you and I" he'd kissed her once more before moving back to the opening of the mausoleum. Without argument Bonnie nodded her head, turned around and began to walk away as Stefan screamed out "Bonnie don't leave! Don't let this happen!" she'd ignored his screams for help and merely walked away without a second thought.

Stefan glared at Klaus as he laughed "The funny thing Salvatore is that I won't hurt you. But you see my family didn't make a promise such as mine." Taking a step to the side he revealed everyone else with just as wicked smiles as Klaus had.
