After like almost a year I'm back to finish this story!

I have so much fresh ideas to go with this fan fiction that I just had to
continue no matter what.
I've seen the reviews and most of you guys are enjoying the story
so let the story continue!
oh and if the words are like this than that simply means that
the character is thinking in their mind.
Chapter 3: Competition
AMYS POV
I was starring blankly towards my ceiling. I was in bed wearing silky pink shirt and some shorts. It was almost 10pm all I've been doing was starring at my own ceiling for almost 30 minutes straight. What am I gonna do?!. I was gonna go insane. I couldn't think straight with all that has happened. First I met great friends then I met Sonic, I even slapped Sonic, almost got raped by Scrouge and finally I made out with Sonic near a lake and ditched third and fourth period while I was with Sonic. Sonic the hedgehog, the play boy that I should be avoiding but instead I've been hanging out with and even making out with him without anyone knowing.
I shook my head and tried to stop thinking about what happened but I just couldn't. Everything kept flashing in my mind. "Okay that's it! I won't let Sonic do this to me anymore." "I'll stop him and avoid him and I wont be caught up with him and his little games". I cried out loudly. I'm determined to literally stay away from Sonic and just focus on what matters. I finally got tired and slowly fell asleep. Hoping tomorrow would be a Sonic free zone.
THE NEXT DAY
AMYS POV
"OMG I'M LATE!."
It was 8:50am and school was just starting. I felt a shocking feeling in me and I quickly got out of bed and ran to the washroom. I washed my face and brushed my teeth. After I quickly ran towards the wardrobe and picked out an outfit for the day. I wore a pear of blacked ripped jeans and a white shirt. Quickly I combed my quills and took my bag which was hanging near the door and ran downstairs. No one was home at that time because everyone in the house had work so it was only me.
"Waw they didn't even wake me up". -.-
I walked to the door and put on my black converse and ran to school. Since school was only a 15 minutes away if I ran then I could probably get there in 10 minutes or so.
SONICS POV
I entered the school and as always everything went quiet and all the attention went on me. The girls were dying and the boys were just glaring except for couple of boys which were my gang.
"Hey guys whats up?"
"So what happened between you and Amy yesterday huh?" Shadow asked with one of eyebrows lifted with curiosity.
"Something. But I didn't sleep with her if thats what you guys thought." I said as I smirked
"So she is officially your next target?" Tails said in concern. He gave me that look and I knew exactly what that look was. It was that look he would always give me when I do these kind of things and I knew why.
"It's a work of progress" I explained.
"So Sonic you coming to the party at Sally's place tomorrow?"Knuckles said trying to change the topic.
Shoot I totally forgot about the party. Tomorrow was Sandy's birthday and I knew how it's gonna be like if I do go to that party. Girls would be handing me drinks trying to get me drunk just so that they can make out with me."Mmph." Thanks to Knuckles I remembered.
"I heard that it's gonna be the party of the year." Shadow stated.
"Yea. Sally always throws the best parties." - K
"So you coming or not Sonic?." - K
I looked at Knuckles blankly. Sally was one of the girls that were head over heels for me since last year. I dated Sally for 3 months which was the longest time I had ever dated a chick that I was just playing with. Of course at the time Sally didn't know that she was being played with. Like all of the girls I dated, I eventually dumped Sally and left her broken. Ever since our breakup Sally has been trying to get me to like her back but obviously it hasn't been working.
"uhh of course I'm coming. More chicks to pick on right." I said as I smirked.
The group of boys laughed for a while until but not including tails.
RIIIIINGG RIIINNNG
"Okay guys gotta go. See you guys at lunch." Knuckles said before disappearing.
"I'll get going too Sonic." After saying that Shadow walked away while waving towards Sonic. I waved back then calmly walked towards my first period which was Science. I honestly hated Science so I wasn't in any rush. As I was walking I remembered that Amy had the same period with me for first. A smirk formed on my lips. Finally I reached his class and opened the door.
" YOU ARE LATE AGAIN!". explained.
"Sorry teach. Was taking my time coming to hell". I said while smirking.
The whole class laughed and giggled to what Sonic just said. As always he could always make the class go against the teacher. It was those little things that he could do because of his popularity.
"SONIC YOU HAVE DETENTION AFTER SCHOOL TODAY. 3PM SHARP." was fed up with Sonic so the only way he could get his revenge on him would be by making him stay late at the school. Which was smart because Sonic hated school.
"Ugh fine." Sonic walked towards his seat and continued his lesson. As Sonic was walking he noticed the seat beside him was empty. "Where is she?." I asked himself. I sat down and turned my attention to the empty seat beside me. Sonic then decided that it was a waste of time waiting for her to come. She might not even be coming today. "That pussy. She probably somewhere fingerling about what happened." I said to himself. "Mmph." I decided to lay down my head on the desk and eventually I fell asleep in just seconds.
20 minutes later
"Okay class. Do questions 1 to 4 and hand it to me tomorrow first thing when you walk into cl-." was cut of because of the doors suddenly opening. Everyones eyes were focused on the door. Except for Sonic of course. He was in dream land.
AMYS POV
"Fck."
I finally got to school and ran to my locker as quickly as I could .I quickly opened my locker and took my first period binder which also had my second period stuff. It was less weight for Amy if she just had two classes in one binder. I closed my locker then ran towards my Science class which was all the way at the second part of the school.
"I'm so busted." I said in my head while running towards my class.
Amy finally got to her class and opened the door instantly. She was out of breath and was panting like crazy. You could probably say she looks like she just ran a marathon which was completely right. She ran all the way from her house to the school so you could possibly say it seemed like a marathon. When Amy opened the door everyone was starring at her.
"Well well. The new student is late on her second day tsk tsk." was strict to who ever was late. He didn't care if it was the smartest or dumbest or who the heck it was. If you are late you are late.
"Sorry Sir. I woke up late and-." Amy was cut of by a voice.
"You have detention after school 3pm sharp. That's what you get when you are late and miss half of the take corset and do what you can with the remaining time."- Mr.S
Amy sighed and said nothing. She just closed the door and walked towards her seat. As she was walking she saw Sonic. He was sleeping and didn't know what just happened. That was probably a good thing because he probably would have made fun of her and stuff.
I sat down and took out my binder and pencil. Amy patted the girls shoulder who was in front of her. "Hey what page is the assignment on?." "It's on page 107 numbers 1 to 3 and it's due tomorrow." "Thanks."
I flipped to page 107 and started to write. As she was writing she turned to look at Sonic who was still sleeping. "How can sir not see this.?" As she was starring at Sonic she couldn't help to think how innocent and cute he looks while sleeping. Amy quickly shook her head and continued to write. "You know it's rude to stare at someone while they are sleeping right?.". All of a sudden Amy was shocked. Sonic was awake the whole time. She ignored what he said and pretended she didn't hear him.
"So why were you so late today?." Sonic said with a curious tone.
"It's none of your business.". I said towards Sonic with a cold tone
I didn't want to look at Sonic because I knew that's what he wanted.
Before Sonic could say anything else the bell rang. Amy quickly closed her binder and packed up. She wanted to get away as far as she could from Sonic before he could do anything else to her. Before she could even leave Sonic grabbed a hold of her arm.
"Sonic let go of me." I looked at Sonic with fear in my eyes.
"You're afraid of me." Sonic smirked. "And all that has happened. How can you possibly be scared?."
"Sonic please. Yesterday was nice and all but I can't do this with you. I know nothing about you and I'm suppose to stay away from you as much as I can." "Like I said before. You are the play boy of the school and I don't want to be part of that." I quickly shook Sonics grasp on me and he released my arm. Amy turned around and started to walk away.
SONICS POV
I released Amys arm and watched Amy walk away from. He let her go for now but he will get her later on. He took his stuff and walked towards his second period which was gym. Sonic loved gym. He was the fastest of them all and he was very competitive. As he walked in he saw all of his buddies. Shadow,Knuckles and Tails. The 3 boys were stretching and Shadow was changing his shirt.
"Hey guys. Sorry I'm late. Got caught up with stuff."
"It's iight. Get changed we doing laps today." - T
I took his shirt of and took out my Gym shirt. As I was about to put on my shirt I noticed girls were starring at me. They were giggling at him and fangirling like crazy. Gym class was with both boys and girls. The boys and girls are separated only when the coaches are don't taking attendance. Before that they share the same gym. I gave the girls a quick wink and saw that the girls giggled even more which made Sonic smirk.
"Hey Sonic." Tails came out of no where.
"Oh hey buddy. What's up?" I asked with concern. Tails looked like he was worried or something.
"You know you don't have to break Amys heart like you did to all the other girls." Tails said all of a sudden.
"What are you talking about?. Are you getting worried for me? heh don't worry. I'm not like the old Sonic." I explained to Tails before punching his arm.
"Thats exactly my point Sonic!. You aren't the same you which makes it dangerous for Amy and you." Tails spatted out.
"Listen nothing bad will happen. Besides I would never fall for her. Love is a waist of time." I said as I looked away from Tails.
Tails didn't say anything else after that. He just deeply sighed then nodded.
After second period.
AMYS POV
Me and Cream were walking out of History. The two girls lockers were pretty far from each others. Creams locker was on the main floor while Amy's locker was on the second floor.
"I'll met you at the cafeteria okay Amy?." Cream said giving me that we have to talk about what happened yesterday stare.
"Sound good."I said as I smiled.
Cream went to her locker while I went to mine. She walked to the second floor and went straight to her locker. I opened her locker and started to put all of the stuff that I didn't need anymore in my locker. As I closed my locker I scanned to room looking if Sonic was in the crowd. Eventually Sonic was no were to be seen. Amy sighed in relief and went downstairs towards the cafeteria. As she entered the cafeteria she was looking for the girls. All of a sudden she saw creams hand go up and Amy smiled. Amy waved back. Amy got to the table with the girls and sat down.
"How was your second day going Amy?." Cosmo asked.
"It's been going fine Cosmo." I said as I smiled towards Cosmo. Before Cosmo could ask anything else Rouge came.
"Omg Amy are you okay?." The bat said in a worried tone.
"Of course I'm okay. Why wouldn't I be?."
"Well because you know. The thing that happened during lunch yesterday and Sonic coming in for the rescue!." - R
I almost forgot that, that even happened. I didn't tell them about what happened between me and Sonic after Sonic saved me from Scrouge the other day. "Should I tell them?." I thought in my mind.
"Oh yea. About that. I was okay. Sonic just saved me yesterday but that was it." I said as I hoped Rouge didn't catch me acting strange.
"That was it?." Rouge said while lifting one eyebrow.
"What happened after Sonic saved you Amy?." Cream asked.
"uuhhh. Nothing girls really. He just saved me then I thank him and I decided that I wanted to go home so I went to the office and they allowed me to go home."
"Your lying." Rouge said.
My eyes widened."What! no I'm not."I was starting to get worried. Since Rouge is Knuckles girlfriend and Knuckles is Sonics friend, he might have told something to Rouge about what happened yesterday.
"Sonic doesn't just get up and save anyone you know." "He also called you his girl which has to mean something." - R
"Amy what did I tell you about staying away from Sonic." A familiar voice said.
I turned around and see Sticks right beside me.
"I didn't do anything girls. I swear and I don't know were that came from. He just said it why won't you ask him." ASK HIM? AMY ARE YOU CRAZY WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT!. I thought in my mind. I was going crazy with all of these questions about Sonic.
"Okay, We believe you but if ever Sonic tries to hit on you just give us a call okay?." Sticks said.
"Okay I will. Don't worry." I said with a smile.
Sticks and Rouge sat down and the five girls started to eat their a couple of minutes of silence Rouge broke the silence.
"Amy at your old school did you do cheerleading?." - R
Amy looked up."uhh cheerleading?."
"Yea because I'm the captain of the cheerleading squad of the school and since it's a new school year we always have auditions." - R
"You should join Amy. It might be fun."- S
Back at Amy's old school she was the head of the cheerleaders and known as one of the best. But of course that tittle doesn't matter now because no one even knows about it.
"I would love to!." I said with joy. I could use some extra curricular.
"GREAT! tryouts are today after school. 4pm sharp."Rouge stated in joy.
"wait 4pm?! Today?." I asked in shock.
"Yea is there something wrong with that time?." Rouge asked in curiosity.
"Well you see... I sorta have detention at 3 today..." I stated as I looked down to my food.
The four girls just starred at Amy in shock that she already gotten herself detention."What did you do to get yourself in detention?." Cosmo asked.
"Well I came to class late for first period and told me that I have to go to detention." - A
"Well I can't help you there. But I had detention with before so I can give you a few tips. Then afterwords you can come for tryouts!." Rouge explains
I looked up in relief."really? waw thanks Rouge your the best." Amy said in joy.
"no problem". - R
"Damn I'm so glad that Rouge is on of my friends. I wouldn't know what to do without her."
Lunch finally ended and the girls finished their lunches. Third period was about to start but Amy forgot that she didn't even go to third period yesterday because Sonic took her to that Lake and everything. Amy took out her agenda from her bag and checked her period for third. it was English with Room 222 which was downstairs on the third floor. Amy started to walk towards he third period and thought about what happened to Sonic. She didn't see him or any of the guys he usually hanged out with. Even Rouge didn't know where they were since she was sitting with us the the whole time. "That's a good thing Amy. At least he hasn't done anything bad so far."
Amy got to the class before the bell rang and sat near the window. She was surprised because only a few people where in the class. She thought there would be way more since class was gonna start in 10 minutes. "Oh well."I just dazed outside the window and then started to hear a bunch of girls coming in. It was a brown squirrel. She was wearing dark blue knee high boots, short shorts and a black top crop. With her were two hedgehogs. One was a purple hedgehog and the other was a rabbit.
I starred at the purple hedgehog. "She seems familiar." It took a while for Amy to realize that the purple hedgehog was that girl from the other day. She was the girl who was glaring at Amy when she got to 's class. "Mmph bunch of skankbags." I said in my mind. As I turned around I could hear the three girls gossiping.
"Do you think Sonic will like my outfit?." Sandy asked the two girls.
"Of course he would!. Why wouldn't he." The purple hedgehog explained.
As they where talking about Sonic. A blue figure walked into the classroom. At that moment Amy didn't hear the three girls talking so she wondered what made them stop. Amy turned around and saw a familiar hedgehog. "Omg it's Sonic!. He's in this class too?!." "Stay calm Amy maybe he won't notice you." It was too late tho. Sonic had seem me but didn't come towards me. Instead he went straight to his seat which was two seats behind Sallys. "Thank god."
SONICS POV
I walked towards my seat ignoring that I saw Amy sitting near the window. I pulled the chair and sat down. I looked up and see Sally walking towards me. As she was walking I watched how her hips moved. I enjoyed every single bit of it until she reached my desk and sat on my desk. "Hey Sonic." Sandy said as she used her try hard sexy voice. I see Amy from the corner of my eye and I see her watching me and Sally like it was some kind of live television. An idea popped in my head. "Hey Sally." I said as I smirked. "So you're coming to my party tomorrow?. You know it's my birthday and I would really like a pleasurable gift from you." as Sally said that she cupped my face. "I wouldn't miss it for the world. But I'll be bringing a guest with me if you don't mind." "Of course I don't mind. As long as you and me have a little alone time okay?." "Well that's gonna be a problem Sal." "What why?." Sally looked confused. I stood up and made her let go of my face. As I started to walk towards Amy, Sally and her friends watched me approach the pink hedgehog. I stood right in front of Amy and I can tell she seemed surprised or it was more like "what the hell are you doing Sonic look." I took Amys hand which made her stand right beside me. I leaned in and kissed Amy as Sally and her little slut friends watched. I hear them gasp in disbelief. I separated from Amys lips and wrapped my arm around her waist. I turned to face Sally as she was still in shock. "it's gonna be a problem because I'll be taking my girlfriend to your party and she easily gets jealous and trust me you don't want to make her jealous." I said as I smirked. "But don't worry Sal I'll still bring you a present." I said as I winked to Sally. Sally had nothing to say. She was completely shocked. She went of my desk and went to her seat with her two sluty friends.
AMYS POV
What the fuck just happened. Did Sonic just kiss me.? Did he just say that I was his girlfriend?! When the hell did i say I wanted be his girlfriend!. All these questions flooded my mind and they desperately needed answers. I watched as Sally and her friends walked towards Sallys desk. While they were talking I can see Sally giving me a cold glare. "Great I officially made a new enemy because of Sonic. Mmph". I feel Sonic letting go of my waist as he walked back to his desk without even talking to me. He didn't say anything. He didn't even tell me why the hell he did what he did which really annoyed me. At that moment the teacher walked in and I sat back down in my seat not knowing what to do. I didn't even focus during the lessons because I kept thinking about what happened.
After third period
The bell rang signalling that third period was over and it was finally time for fourth. I waited until everyone left the classroom including the teacher just so I could talk to Sonic about what the hell happened earlier. After everyone left the only people left in the class was me and Sonic. He was about leave but I stopped him and went in front of him.
"What the hell was all of that Sonic?." I asked with fury in my eyes.
"Oh shut up. I know you liked that Kiss." Sonic said as he smirked. He was right. I did like that kiss. It was warm and it felt real but it wasn't. It was one of those tricks to fall for him. I had no comeback to what Sonic said which signalled to him that he was right.
"You're coming to that party if you like it or not and if you decide that you're not going well I'll just kidnap you and take you with me to the party." Sonic said as he leaned forward to me as smiled.
"I can easily call the cops and you will be behind bars in seconds so don't even try hedgehog."
"I like you Amy. You're different from all of those other girls." Sonic smirked then walked out of the classroom still leaving me with no answer to my question.
"Mph some help he was."
After school
As much as I wanted to go home I knew that I couldn't because of . I walked around the school looking for the detention room. After what felt like forever of walking I finally found the detention room. I opened the door and saw so many people. I see people throwing paper, listening to music and even some people were throwing a football around the classroom. It looked like the detention room became a crazy party. *Sigh* I walked inside the classroom and looked for an empty desk. I see two empty desks near the right window and I quickly walked towards it before anyone could take it. I sat down and took of my bag. I took out my cellphone and a pear of earphones and decided to listen to some music just so I could block out all of the noises in the class. I closed my eyes and placed my head on the desk with my hands supporting my head.
Suddenly I feel someone poking me. I sat straight and opened my eyes. I took of my earphones "What do you want?." I asked then looked up to see Sonic looking at me. "Omg he is here too?!. Dammit I can't get away from him."
Sonic smirked. "Why does it seem like you are following me Amy.?"
"What! I'm not following you!. Maybe it's you who is following me."
"Well actually I came to this school before you and ever since this morning you are everywhere that I go so that completely proves that you are everywhere I am." Sonic stated. He won. He was right.
"Whatever just leave."
"Actually this is my desk so that's not an option." Sonic sat down and lifted his feet onto the table as he rocked back and fort. "This guy is unbelievable."
"By the way Amy how did you get into detention?. Heh and it's only your second day."
"I uhh came late for first period."
"No wonder I didn't see you when I came into the class. And I thought I was the bad one." Sonic grind. "Bad girl."
At that moment walked in the class and sat at his desk. He took out a text book and smacked it on his desk making a loud bang noise which captured everyones attention. "Sonic take your feet of the desk." Sonic did what he was told without arguing. "You guys are all here because you guys all seem to have pissed me of which I don't like. You guys are all staying here until I dismiss you all. Now behave yourselves." After saying that took out his laptop and started to type. He was probably marking but who knows. He could be watching porn for all we know. I turn to look at Sonic and see him sleeping. "This guy just loves to sleep doesn't he." I laid my head on the desk. I should just rest to gain some energy for later.
After a while I took my head of the desk and checked the time on my phone. 4:45pm. "I need to get out of here now. Rouge told me earlier that should have fallen asleep after 20 minutes in detention." I look up to see sleeping. "This is my chance." I started to pack my stuff. I got up from my seat and was about to go until I feel someone holding my wrist. It was Sonic. I must have woke him up while I was packing. "Great." "Where do you think your going." Sonic asked as he lifted one of his eyebrows. "I'm getting out of here. You in or not." I asked trying to hurry up before we get caught by . "iight let's go." Sonic let's my wrist go and we quietly walked passed .
We finally reached outside. I sighed in relief. All of a sudden I was pulled from behind me. Sonic was able to put his hands around my waist and pull me closer to him. "No. Not this again." "So where are you going.?" Sonic asked as he whispered in my ear which gave my shivers down my spine. "It's non of your concern." "But it is because your mine." He said as he start to stroke my left arm. "Sonic I'm gonna be late. I'm meeting Rouge and I have to go." I explained trying to make him let me go. "Ugh fine." Sonic let me go and I quickly walked downstairs to the third floor trying to get away from Sonic as far as I could.
SONICS POV
I watched as Amy quickly left the scene until I turned around and started to walk to the parking lot. As I was walking I see Sally in her little cheerleader uniform. I had to say it but she looked hot in her little tight uniform which outlined her curves very well. I starred at her body as she was walking and licked my lips. She saw me and smiled. I quickly walked towards her and pushed her into a corner. Making sure that she was trapped. "You know I'm pretty sure your girlfriend would be extra jealous if she saw the position we are in right now." She said as she smirked. "Fuck her." As I said that I smacked my lips with hers. As we were kissing aggressively I asked for entrance and she accepted. Our tongues battled for pleasure. With my free hand I roam Sallys back which made her moan I bit. After what felt like a long time we both separated and we were both gasping for air. "Don't tell anyone." I said as I whispered into Sallys ear. She smiled "Never." She pulled my shirt then stole one finally kiss before leaving.
AMYS POV
I went into the washroom and changed into some cheerleading uniform that Rouge led me to borrow just for today since I didn't have any cheerleading uniform at school. I looked at myself in the mirror with admiration. I looked pretty cute!. The cheerleading unciform was cyan blue with white highlights on the sides. I wore my hair into a ponytail with a red ribbon that Rouge gave me to complete the outfit. I walked outside and went to the field where I saw Rouge and 10 other girls. The 10 other girls were the girls trying out. I took a deep breath before walking towards Rouge.
"Well what do you think.?" I asked Rouge while smiling
"Oh darling you look hot!." Rouge explained while squealing. She was very excited.
"Thanks for the tips for detention Rouge! It was really helpful." I said as I hugged her.
"Anything for a gal friend." "Now get in line we are starting." I nodded and went to join the line.
As I lined up with the rest of the girls I notice a brown figure coming straight towards us. "Oh no." It was Sally and she was with her two friends who follow he like a lost puppy. *Sigh* "and I thought this was gonna be fun. Guess not."
"Sorry I'm late. I was caught up with something." Sally said as she smirked then glared at me.
"Whatever just get in line." Rouge said in a pissed tone.
Sally joined the line and stood right beside me. "Seriously!? She could stand anywhere she wanted but she just had to decide to stand beside me -.-"
Rouge walked in the middle of the field and started to talk. "Okay girls this is the tryouts for the cheerleading team for the new school year. First of we will start with some easy stunts. From that I can see who is more skilled." "First we will be doing 3 backbend kick overs." "So who wants to go first." Rouge asked. The whole line was silent until Sally raised her hand. "I'll go first." Rouge nodded. Sally walked towards the centre of the field. She bended into a bridge then raised her left foot. In a second she pushed and ended standing up on the other side were she started. She then continued to do the last two. When she finished everyone clapped.
I looked towards Rouge as she was writing something down on her clipboard. "I guess she is evaluating us." "Okay Amy your turn." As I heard my name I feel a shocked feeling in my stomach. I nodded and started to walk to the centre. As I was walking I see Sally giving me a cold glare. "Mhmp." I reached the centre and went straight to do backbend. I stood then bended then I landed in a perfect bridge. I immediately kicked over and and ended up on the other side. Then I immediately did two more. When I was finished I see everyone clapping except for Sally and her friends. I rolled my eyes and just smiled. From that point I knew that me and Sally were competing for a spot on the cheerleading team.
At the end of the tryouts the only people left were me,Sally and her two friends and six more other girls. The rest were eliminated because they didn't have the skills to become a cheerleader. At least that's what Rouge said. "Okay girls the results will be posted by the end of the week. Good Job!." After Rouge said that everyone left. Including Sally and her friends. "Dear you were so good!." I was surprised of Rouges statement. "Thanks!." "Let's go home. I'll drive you." Rouge said. I nodded and we went to Rouges car. When we got there she took me home and the day ended.
