I woke up with Rebekah still on my chest, I shook her awake and she smiled at me fondly before getting up and beginning to cook breakfast. I gently grabbed both her hands in mine and smiled. She looked at me confused.

"Why don't we dine out instead? I have a fun day planned out for you. Or to at least shove the time by today." She smiled.

"I would love to dine out. I love doing that." I picked up the car keys before holding my arm out for her, smiling mischievously. She smirked before grabbing my arm in hers and I walked her downstairs to the car. We lived in a house but I preferred to call it an apartment so that others don't get jealous. Everyone's jealous of me.

I helped her into her seat and then got in mine and drove off. She turned on the radio as I drove looking for a restaurant to eat in. Why we ate human food was only for pleasure, we've not needed to eat since the 10th century… I mean since we were human.

We had our breakfast and then I took her shopping while I asked around for the Salvatore kid. They said he lived near a school that shut down because of absences. Hmm. I saw Bentley coming over and walked into a secluded area before he came over.

"What is it?"

"We've succeeded it last night." I thought for a moment before I smiled.

"Good job. I'm proud of you."

"Thanks. Now I hope that my child can get up and go when they feel like it."

"Yes, I should hope so. That should be every child's wish. I appreciate your hard work and I hope you and the others keep it up. Keep your eyes out for the brunettes though. I mean to say least of all those close to the schools. Her last name is Salvatore. She lives in an apartment and I don't think it's good news. Just think of what happened to her parents." I coughed. "Stefan." He nodded before leaving. I smirked. Code was good for avoiding the cops.

"I want this one." I turned to Rebekah and smiled at her pick. "Can we get it?"

"Yes, come along, we have many a place to go today." I paid for the dress before wrapping my arm around her waist and leading her out.

We got back in the car and drove again. I stopped us by a hat shop… she bought a sun hat that was apparently all the rage. We drove around town trying to find something we'd not already done by now.

I dropped us off for lunch and then we went off to the park for a while before we went back home to just sit the time away, again listening to the radio as she had me tell her how she looked in all her clothes as she mixed up all her clothes, trying to find something to wear that night probably.

I heard a knock at my door. "Stay." I firmly commanded her before getting up and heading to the door. It was Bentley again. "What is it?"

"I think you might -" I led him out to a private place we'd not be heard at, away from Rebekah. "Like to know that we found her. She's gone now. But she'll be in Gloria's Bar tonight. We can talk to her there." I nodded.

"Great news mate." I handed him a ten. "For the tip." I winked at him before heading back to the room.

"What was that about Nik?"

"Nothing important. Just some gang trying to step up to the plate."

"We'll have to show them it's unwise."

"Oh, don't worry. I've already set up their deaths. I promise."

"You expect a human to do a vampire's work?"

"Hey, I don't exactly want to let it happen but I've got you to deal with."

"What does THAT mean?"

"That I can't kill people and keep an eye on you as well."

"Really? I'm going out." I grabbed her wrist, crushing it.

"Oh? Are you now?" She pouted at me and then tried to slap me, but I caught her other wrist, instantly slamming her against the wall. "You know better to think that I'd let you do that." I smiled. "Besides, I also set up a nice little surprise for you later tonight."

"It better be good Niky."

"Or what? You going to slap me? Kill me? You can't do anything about it love. So I suggest you keep your hands to yourself, including tonight. More so tonight." I kissed her cheek, caressing her face before I let go of her completely.

I watched her finish trying her outfits and we sat there until the night came. I drove her over to Gloria's Bar and we sat, I watched for Stefan and she got up, looking around at the men. I rolled my eyes but kept vigil. I saw the door open and close, Stefan had come back. I vamped up to him, silently and without making a scene. He jumped when he saw me.

"Hello mate, let's go find my sister." I smirked before leading him off. I easily found her cashing out to some chump. I grabbed her arm and yanked her away from him. "Sorry, banks closed chump." I dragged her away even though he complained. If he came again, I'd just kill him. I got money as it was and I didn't need Rebekah selling herself to these half wits.

"Tony! That was a good man I could have used." I rolled my eyes at her.

"You, my friend, have NO morals." She was about to reply but she saw Stefan, she smirked, batting her eyes. I scoffed. "Come along sister, we need to find some seats."

"No worries, Tony. I know a good seat." He led us to a place and I pushed Rebekah into a seat, far enough for her to sit with Stefan. He sat down and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. I smiled tightly. We ordered some drinks, silence insued. When our drinks were brought, I decided I could talk to him with at least trying not to kill him. He picked his up and began to drink, staring at me. I hated his stare, it offered that we were friends.

"So Stefan, enlighten me. What makes you worthy of an Original like my sister? She's pure vampire and you're no more than a diluted bloodline."

"Don't listen to him, Stefan. Nik's an elitist." My smile tightened, daring him to NOT answer my question. Rebekah laid her head on his shoulder and he moved his drink to ask ME a question. Oh you poor, poor bastard.

"Hmm. And where's the rest of your family?" I looked at the table, straightening up to stare him in the face with a smirk.

"Well, let's see. Um… I killed most of them." Rebekah looked at him.

"But not all." She looked at me and I laid back, smiling. Stefan looked at Beky, concerned. I smiled, baring my teeth in my joy at his reaction.

"And you're okay… with that?"

"Well, we all had the chance to choose a side. I chose the right one, eventually." She moved her hand towards mine, I formed mine into a cup, ready for her hand she placed it daintily into mine. I smiled yet again. Happy with her. I heard a man walk up and I looked to see who DARED to intterupt my delightful conversation to see a man. I was about to snap at him but he spoke.

"Where the hell's my wife?" I snorted, which turned into a laugh. I looked to Stefan and back at the man. I hadn't even touched a girl. Stefan had been here earlier. Apparently.

"I don't know. I give up." I laughed again, he wasn't undesirably boring after all.

"You think you're so tough? Hiding in your bar, drinking your liquor? A telephone call to Chicago P. D. might set you straight." I snickered. Of course they'd set me straight. Why don't I fly straight and obey the human? Rebekah laughed. Stefan turned around.

"Lila? Lila, please. Come here for a second." The man turned around and grabbed for his 'wife' and tried to leave.

"Oh, thank God. Come on, we're leaving." Yes, please leave. I have other things to do than just sit here, listening to you blabber. What the hell is Stefan doing. He had stopped him and was beginning to compel him. Maybe this would lead to more fun.

"Oh, no, no, no, no. No. You're sitting." We scooted in to let them sit down. I eyed the man, looking at his vein. I looked over to Stefan. He'd removed the girl's glove, picking up a knife. I raised my brow in confusion.

"Stefan, don't be mean."

"What the hell are you doing?" I looked on, tilting my head in wonder. He cut the girls wrist and the blood poured into a glass. I wanted to reach for the glass but I waited.

"Thank you so much, Lila. Why don't you go and bandage that up?" She got up and left, she'd been compelled to behave, smart move mate. "'I'd like you to join me for a drink." He slid the glass over with his palm.

"What kind of sick freaks are you?" Stefan nodded at the glass. I smiled. He nodded again.

"I said, drink!" He hesitantly grabbed the cup and took a sip of the girl's blood. He pointed at the man again. "I didn't catch your name." He coughed before answering.

"Go to hell." I laughed. What a strange name. Why does he need his name anyway?

"Do you want another sip?"

"Liam. Liam Grant." I grabbed my glass of champagne.

"Liam Grant! Have another sip, Liam." I clinked mine with his, laughing. He drank. "Finish it." I laughed again, this was just over the top of the vampires I'd seen in my day. And I've seen tons of them. This man, I knew, was automatically mine. He was my toy. Maybe later I could become friends with him.

Another man came up to the booth and I looked up to see my mate Freddy. I smiled. "What is it?"

"I need to speak with you, privately." I turned to Stefan, smiling at Rebekah.

"You, I'll see tomorrow night. Rebekah and I have some business to deal with." I grabbed her and Stefan compelled the man to sit by him. I followed him. "What is it?"

"We found two of the Crotans at your place. We've got them captured, thought you might want to come deal with them personally." I smiled, dinner time.

"Why certainly. Lead the way mate."
