Everyone was asleep, besides me. I was worried about my Father being killed by Mikael and I knew that if I left I would probably be killed too. But I couldn't help myself. I was already out of the house, silently more than ever I could before, and then I was off to find my Father. What I found horrified me though.
My father was lying there, dead. It had to be my father, it was the blonde wolf. I cried out before I could stop myself and ran from there before Mikael found me. I needed to see my friends. They would know what to do. I found Carr and Kyle sneaking off from the village. I walked up to them and they jumped.
"What are you doing?" Kyle asked, angry.
"I was coming with you. Wasn't I?" I asked, confused. Carr struck out at me and I backed up. "What are you doing?"
"You're a monster! Go away!" Kyle attacked me and I ran off, I didn't want to hurt them. Instead I beat them to the village. I walked out and ran to Crystal.
"Crystal? I have to talk to you."
"What is it?" She walked us to the other side of the village and sat down, pulling me close. I smiled at her and sat down with her. "What is wrong my love?" Would I be accepted despite what I am? What I might be? She kissed me. I kissed her back and she held my face in her hands and I put my hand on her chest, ready to make out once more with her but she pulled back and laid her head on my chest, staring up at me. I had to admit, she was adorable.
"We need a bed."
"Why is that?" She stared at me for a minute, trying to figure out how to put her next words. Oh. "Oh. Never mind then. I suppose you don't have one?"
"My Mother would kill me Nik."
We sat there for a while until she moved again. She stood me up and backed me up against a tree. I smiled. She grabbed my shirt and pulled it above my head. I smiled at her before pulling her in for a kiss. She smiled and moved her body up to my own. She began to trek her fingers to my pants and I grabbed them.
"You first." I replied, laughing. "Since we're doing it here." She flashed me a mischievous look before taking off her dress. I smiled at her and looked her up and down before she tackled me and kissed me again. "Are we or are we not?"
"Shush." She kissed my neck before staring me in the eyes. "Would you like to or not?"
"We're going to need a bath." I laughed in her face before taking my pants off to her delight. Then we began again with the kissing, she was nervous I bet. I was nervous I would have to take a bath, since my family was going out for a hunt… no a feeding. I closed my eyes and the next thing I knew, Crystal was hitting me. I opened my eyes to see that I had bit her, and I think I was feeding from her. I stopped immediately and looked at her, scared of myself and what else I might do. "I'm sorry Crystal! I didn't mean to! I'm sorry, please forgive me Crystal." She stared at me horrified. I saw tears falling down her cheeks.
"You bit me?! I'm bleeding! I'm bleeding!" Since there would be no sex, I grabbed my clothes and got dressed again. She grabbed a stick and tried to stab me with it, I backed up until my back was against a tree. She was furious, scared, sad.
"You're a DEMON!"
"No, I'm Niklaus."
"Get away from me DEMON!" I stared at her and she screamed again. She ran away fast, my love. Demon? What am I? I'm not human. That's for sure. She called me a demon! That was my only friend left… I left the village and went home.
"Niklaus! WHERE have you BEEN?!" Mikael demanded. I opened my mouth to answer but he just hit me. "Don't give me excuses. Just follow me and Elijah." I watched him leave the house, pouting I followed them out. Elijah wrapped an arm around my shoulders, delivering a kiss to my cheek.
"Don't worry Niklaus, Father is just angry because Mother is having him take us to feed." He pointed to our other siblings. I shook him off and walked farther behind him. Elijah sighed and followed Father. "I'll show you all how to feed and then you will go do it. Understand?" I didn't bother to nod my head but the others did, besides Kol.
He showed us how to hunt and then shooed us off. I vamped off and began to look for a human. I found a pretty girl. I copied Mikael's move and bit her neck, feeding while she screamed. Before I knew it, she was dead. That can't be all she has to offer, can it? I'm still hungry…
Then I felt pain, pain I'd never known. Something was happening to me. My leg broke and I fell on one knee. I screamed. Then my other leg broke. I screamed out again, then my arms broke. I heard Elijah scream.
"NIKLAUS!"
"WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?!" More bones broke as Mikael appeared and pulled Elijah back from me.
"No, no, DON'T!"
"Father! IT HURTS!" I felt my spine break and I felt tears appear in my eyes. It was just so painful. This never happened before. I felt my teeth begin to transform themselves into sharper teeth. I felt my canines lengthen. My spine and other bones began form differently. I screamed at the sky before dropping my head to look at the ground.
"He's a beast. An abomination!" I looked up at him, hurt before I ran off from them, horrified about what I was. I didn't even know what I was… eventually I realized that my hands and feet had transformed.. I looked down to see paws… blonde wolf paws.
I ran to Father's camp, I remember finding it earlier… I found it but the scents were all stale. I sniffed for a strong, fresh scent but I caught nothing. I looked in the dens but there was nothing there except in one I found herbs. Stale herbs. They wouldn't help anything.
I walked out into the center of the camp and howled for my father to come over, but there was no answer. I ran to his cabin and nosed it open to find nothing still. Father had left me… Father was dead. Mikael killed him… I'm all alone. I backed out of the cabin, afraid of that thought. I didn't want to be alone.
Someone has to be here to help me. Mikael wouldn't help me, my siblings would no longer help me. They knew what I was. I ran to the river and looked at my reflection. What I saw horrified me… I was no longer human. I was a wolf. Just like my father. I ran, I ran so far my feet- paws hurt.
