A/N: An anonymous reviewer asked for Bowser to do a rendition of "The Very Reason That I Live" from the episode "The Great Louse Detective" of The Simpsons, itself a parody of "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face" from the musical My Fair Lady, and sung by Sideshow Bob (voiced by Kelsey Grammer). But I do a lot of Bowser songs, and I thought it would be more interesting to do it from Mario's POV about Bowser – hope you don't mind! Note: the italic parts are spoken, not sung.

The Very Reason That I Play

Mario: I've grown accustomed to his face
And dreams of burning blood red eyes
I've grown accustomed to his hate
When plans evaporate
Ran them afoul
To hear him howl
The very reason that I live
Is plotting how to watch him die

Luigi: Bro! Stop-a singing twice-a-paraphrased showtunes and-a go to sleep!

Mario: I know this chubby Koopa King
Has made my life a living hell
Surely if he went away
I'd be at peace…
But well…

Luigi: You've grown accustomed to his face?
Mario: This-a isn't a duet.
Luigi: Sorry.

Mario: I've grown accustomed to her fear
Accustomed to revenge
Accustomed to his face

We shall fight again, old-a friend. But not until you steal away-a Peach again.
