The Promised Day has come and passed. Blind, reliant on his faithful, slowly recovering Lieutenant, Roy awaits Havoc's successful therapy. Until then, he and Riza find themselves coping with the trauma of nearly having lost one another in the only way they can: by acting on their feelings. Only the ferocity of her lingering fears isn't something Roy is prepared for...

Edward Elric is thirteen years old, and as much as he'd like to think it, he doesn't know everything. Doesn't know why that man on the train had been staring at him, why the Colonel and Lieutenant were so freaked out by it. He doesn't know why he keeps seeing this guy around East City and Central. He doesn't know, and he kind of hates it. Kinktober 2022- Drugged.

Ed and Al are called to central because there's talk of a group of Ishval extremists going after state alchemists. No one really knows what's happening, and the fear of Scars involvement has everyone on edge, including Ed himself. Still, it doesn't hurt to bend the rules a little bit, right? It's a couple months into being a state alchemist, and Ed's worn himself down. At the suggestion of a doctor (and not wanting to disappoint Al) he allows his automail to be removed for a few days to give his ports a break. He followed it with his eyes, followed as it softly flowed from him to Ed, curling around his right wrist. A thread so thin, intangible.
