A/N: The reviewer Dragonair asked for "I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe)" by Genesis. I thought the cynical, anecdotal tone of the song works really well for Kamek, from his suppressed desire for cute/individualistic clothing, to his less-than-rosy take on business-as-usual in the Koopa Kingdom.

I Know What I Like (In Her Pink Dress)

It's one o'clock and time to strike,
Boom Ba-Boom Bob-omb
When the lava heats up and I read in my room
I can always hear them talk

There's always been Kammy:
"Highness, wake up! We've got to strike while they sleep now!"
And then comes King Bowser:
"Isn't it time that you move into a home?"
Over the border line, pretty pink princess – psh – coming for you!
Keep them white fangs sharp…

I know what he likes, but don't like what I know
Sitting pretty in her pink dress, caged up here just for the show
The show…

(La la la la la, Loo la la la la, Loo la la la la la, Loo la la la la)

Sunday night, Mario came, said:
"Let's-a go, you're wasting your time, there's no princess for you,
Just your fires and-a rage. Don't come around!"
And I remembered a voice from the past:
"Warring only pays when you're winning!"
I had to thank old King Mort for fath'ring a failure.
Keep them shell spikes sharp…

I know what he likes, but don't like what I know
Sitting pretty in her pink dress, fool them all, don't let it show
I know what I like, he won't like what I know
Sitting pretty in her pink dress, getting caught up in the show

When the rain beats down and I lie to myself
I can always hear them talk
Me, I'm just a Magikoopa – you can tell me by my drab blue smock
