A/N: spatterson requested "Remember", a song from the cartoon Danny Phantom. It was written by Guy Moon, Butch Hartman, and Steve Marmel, and was sung in-show by the ghost Ember McLain, performed by Robbyn Kirmsse. While "Pauline" doesn't rhyme with "Ember" or "Remember", I thought the subject matter of the song fit her perfectly. Even the one "September" line works as a reference to the release date of Super Mario Bros., and the start of Mario's life away from Brooklyn – lucky break!

Remember

Yeah-ah, Ooooooh

It was, it was September
Winds blow, Super Leaves fall
To you, Kongs did surrender
One day, you didn't call

Your life goes on without me
My life, an oldschool game
But you first, you first did save me
You will remember my name

Oh Pauline, you will remember
Pauline, here I remain
Oh Pauline, your Lady tender
You will remember my name

Your quest, your quest continues
Princess, she bears the shame
Like scaffolds, I was what built you
Nothing but spin-offs remain

Oh Pauline, you will remember
Pauline, don't play your games
Pauline, I came before her
You will remember my name

Oh Pauline, you will remember
Pauline, you'll save again
Pauline, my dress asunder
You will remember my name
Yeah, you will remember my name
