This was a hard chapter...I don't even know if people even read this story anymore, but I promised myself to finish and I'm sticking with it no matter how long it takes! (because whenever I'm reading fanfics and it just ends it really makes me angry :P)

Alice had completely broken down; all anybody could see or hear was her screaming and crying. Nobody knew how to react to this, but one thing that they all knew was that she needed to be stopped before something they completely lost her. Franҫoise pushed herself over to Alice and laid her head against Alice's side.

"Alice, it's ok. Please, you're okay now." She told her.

After feeling Franҫoise's warmth against her, Alice's screams dulled down to temporary moans of agony. Everyone just watched as Franҫoise calmed the screaming Brit, but they were all still horrified by the sight that had unfolded in front of them. Just moments ago they were all tied up and being told about the death of two countries by the unknowing hands of Seychelles when all of a sudden Alice had snapped and used her demonic powers to strike Seychelles. After that she had broken out of whatever trance she had put herself in and began to freak out uncontrollably, sobbing and screaming as if she were being murdered.

It had been nearly two minutes of complete silence until Alice brought her head up, revealing her eyes which were still faded into blotchy yet still gorgeous green pools. Francis and Arthur stared at her with the most intensity, with the aura of the men just resonating fear. The women, on the other hand, all knew what had happened, yet it still horrified them.

"Alice dear?" Franҫoise looked up at Alice and gave a smile (though she knew well enough that Alice could not see it).

All she got in return was a little head nod which followed in Alice muttering something causing the rope around everyone to disintegrate into nothing. "I'm sorry. It won't happen again." She said sternly as she stood up from the chair and put her hair back up into two ponytails.

The group walked up to Seychelles who was incapacitated on the floor, black blood dripping from his lip. Ludwig bent down and felt his pulse.

"He's alive." He sighed in relief. "Help him to his bed". He stood up and demanded the others.

"Like bloody hell I will! He's a fucking psycho!" Arthur shouted but was shut off immediately by Amelia.

"Just shut up and help him!" She hissed as she grabbed Seychelles arms with the help of Kiku.

"Eh…" Arthur became a light shade of red after being yelled at so seriously by Amelia.

"Erm…where's his room?" Feliciano asked as he held up Seychelles head.

"Hell if I know." Feliciana moaned.

They all searched for nearly ten minutes until finding what they thought was his room (at least it had a bed). Seychelles was dumped onto the mattress and then Franҫoise covered him in sheets after the group had gone ahead to find the helicopter that Seychelles had talked about earlier. She sat at the foot of the bed and buried her face into her hands.

"F-Franҫoise." Seychelles' eyes fluttered open, and then he extended his hand towards her. "Save Alice, please. Don't let it happen again. I'm sorry for what I've done; please, not New York ag-…." his words were cut off when he passed out again.

"What was he talking about?" Franҫoise turned to the doorway and saw Arthur standing in the hallway. He took a step forward. "What did he mean when he said save Alice?" He sounded concerned and angry at the same time.

"I don't know what he meant either." Franҫoise tried to keep herself from sounding like she was lying, but Arthur saw right through it.

"Don't lie to me. I care about Alice, and if there's something that's endangering her I need to know, got it?!"

"Why are you so interested? How the hell would information like this help you at all?" Franҫoise knew there was no way around it, but in her heart of hearts she didn't want Arthur to know about Alice's darkest secret.

"Tell me." He demanded, now sounding threatening. "I've had enough bullshit for one day; I don't need this drama now. No more secrets; they're really starting to piss me off!"

Franҫoise looked at him, amazed by the sudden transformation in his attitude. Just moments ago he was silent with fear, but now he sounded like a total asshole…in a good way but still.

"You really want to know?" She slyly asked.

"Do I really have to fucking answer that again? Y-E-S!" He sat down next to Franҫoise and gave her a menacing glare. It was obvious how tired he was of everything that was going on, and now, he just wanted answers.

"Fine." Franҫoise brought her face closer to his. "You two may be the same person, but you aren't in any way alike inside. From what I know, you only dabble in the dark arts while Alice has been working and practicing ever since she was une petite fille (a little girl)." She sat back, trying not to touch Seychelles. "It honestly scares me how she can use it so well, but it's been killing her."

"What?!" Arthur stood back up in shock. "What do you mean?!"

Franҫoise's face looked lifeless as she spoke. "Well I wouldn't say it was killing her; it's more like, it's taken over. We all didn't know about this until the Revolutionary War. God; that was just a mess. She nearly wiped out the entire state of New York after that. I'm just glad we found a way to stop her before she totally lost it. I don't even remember how we did it."

"W..wiped out?"

"En effet (indeed). Over a thousand dead that day just by that one blow. It was like she wasn't even in control, it was just chaos. Even the way she talked, it was like something else had taken control. I can't even explain it…it was just so terrifying. The entire world was afraid of her during that time; I don't even know how Amelia won in the end."

The two remained silent until Arthur finally sputtered something out. "What triggered her?"

"Hm?" Franҫoise looked at him with soft malice. "We don't know." She sighed and then stood up. "Well we should be going non? We need to get out of here and head on to America. This world isn't going to save itself."

"But what about Alice?!" Arthur shouted more loudly than he desired it to be.

"What about her? If we continue on this subject it'll only upset her more. We can't help her with her own internal war until we deal with this one first. Got it?" Franҫoise almost sounded like she was German; her words were harsh and demanding with no empathy.

She was right. His world was much different than their world, and it was evident in the way they talked, led, everything. Sure they may have they're moments but now, they're just rock hard. They can't just talk crap like in his world. They actually have to work day after day together, trying not to explode from the stress of this war. He thought he knew struggle, but after seeing what they're war could do to a person, he could just shut the fuck up.

"I'm sorry you're right. Shall we go?" Arthur muttered.

"Let's go." She had changed her demeanor into something Arthur had never seen in a Frenchie, and it was a little unnerving.

The two walked down the hallway to the back patio where the others were waiting for them, the aura around them all still on edge. "Yo Franҫoise; where the hell did you two go? We've been waiting here for like ten minutes." Amelia was standing by Alice who was sitting solemnly in a meditating pose.

"We were just talking." Franҫoise gave a cheesy smile, which set Arthur aback after he had just witnessed her cold-heartedness.

"Well we've got a problem. It turns out that helicopter Seychelles was talking about was just a part of his crazy talk. We can't find it anywhere." Ludwig looked frustrated.

"Are you sure? Maybe we aren't looking in the right place!" Arthur tried to give people some hope back but it didn't work.

"How the hell would somebody hide a helicopter?" Feliciana sassed back.

"Ehhh?! Well then what do we do now?" Feliciano was about to cry at the thought of being stranded.

They all stood around and thought until Amelia came up with something. "GOT IT! We'll use the UNC! Seychelles has got to have one of those around here!"

"What's a UNC?" Kiku asked.

"Mon Dieu! I completely forgot about that. Do you think they'll still work?"

"Oy, what's UNC?" This time it was Francis.

"Do we have any other choices?"

"Bloody hell woman! What's a UNC?!"

Amelia looked at Arthur and then gave a big Hollywood smile. "It's the answer to our prayers!"

-I got to thank Fallout Boy for keeping me focused on this chapter. I just had no idea how to do this. It's weird, I've got the ending all set up, but I still got to get there :\.
