-Hi everybody! I just wanted to say thanks to everybody who's been commenting and all! It's really a confidence booster when I see somebody left a review. It's like a little present ^^. Love you all!

"Reports of a strange phenomenon have been reported all over the world from the country of Canada to even the Nordic nations. Reason's for these happenings has yet to be discovered, but word is that some of the finest scientists of all fields are investigating these strange vortexes. Further information has yet to be released on these occurrences but be sure to stick around for anything that comes up. I'm Vicki Shale and this is Channel 9 news signing out." The news cast ended and the Dr. Oz show came on.

Monika stared at the TV with grief; she didn't know what was going on, but whatever it was it needed to be stopped. She shut the TV off and buried her face in the white pillow and breathed in the sterile smell. She let out a stale breath and rolled onto her side, letting her right arm hang off the hospital bed. She had been stuck in that cold and bland room for nearly two weeks ever since she had regained consciousness. Her major injury was far from healing but her skin regeneration was quickening. Still, she wasn't allowed to leave the hospital or anything even though staying there was going to drive her insane.

Every day the group, who was staying at a hotel in the downtown, came to visit to see if she was doing any better, and each time it was just the same. She'd talk about how frustrating the hospital was being and how she's thinking of just walking out of here, but her nurses would always talk her out of doing so in fear she'd just hurt herself.

"Hurt myself be damned" she moaned one day as Anya and Chun were talking to her about the vortexes popping up. "Do you guys have any leads on those things popping up?" Monika asked.

Chun shook her head. "We've got nothing aru~."

"Mein Gott" Monika was severely frustrated with what was happening.

They all were; they all knew that, if these weren't closed then their war would flow into this world, causing complete and utter havoc. Unfortunately, none of them knew what to do.

"I worry Monika, but don't you find it strange that Kaydoms haven't come through those portals yet?" Anya asked.

Monika squeezed her eyes shut, trying to think of a reason. "I don't know, but if we're going to find out anything we'll need to go see those "phenomenon's" ourselves."

"But Monika, they won't let you leave the hospital." Chun brought up.

Monika gave a smirk and threw the blanket to the floor. "I'm done with this place. I'm starting to feel fat just laying here." She stood up but, this time, nobody stopped her.

She grabbed her clothes which had been neatly folded and placed on the little couch in her room since she had asked for them to be ready at her disposal; she went into her restroom and got dressed in minutes. She knew her injuries would get in the way at some point, but right now she could not just remain idle and watch a world burn. The stitches were still in place so she figured that, as long as they don't come apart, she'll be able to heal perfectly fine. Either way she was a country and she healed quickly. Also, the bottom layers of skin had already started growing back nicely and blood wouldn't randomly start coming out of her wounds which was a good sign.

Monika stepped out of the restroom and faced Anya and Chun with a determined smile. They exchanged looks and then the two gave Monika a hug. "It's great to have you back!" Chun cheered.

"Da, let's get out of here."

Monika opened the door and was immediately met by the nurse who had been tending to her day after day. The nurse looked at her, and then realized that Monika was making a break for it.

"Where do you think you're going? You aren't healed yet!" Monika paid her no mind and walked right past the nurse, Chun and Anya following with smiles on their faces.

The nurse stepped in front of Monika again. "Stop" she sternly told her.

Monika took a step in front of the nurse and towered over her. She then looked her straight in the eye and told her "would you rather see your world burn to pieces and watch your loved ones die or let me go?"

The nurse's mouth gaped open at her remark, and she let Monika pass without another issue. Chun put a hand on the stunned nurse's shoulder. "Don't worry, we know what we're doing aru~." She gave a wink and they all walked out of the hospital together.

"Finally, now let's get to work." Monika told the other two as she felt the warm rays of sun hug her face.

In the Nyo-dimension, the group was heading for the coordinates, but they had planned to first stop at American base 12 since that had been their first objective and the portal was one of the vital pieces to their puzzle. They had established a cloaking shield for the jet (war just pushed for technological advances) and they were off over the Atlantic Ocean, making sure that nothing would spot them since they weren't sure if they would be able to fight it off. The pilot that was supposed to accompany them was told to stay back since it allowed Amelia to fly it on her own since she was more experienced and all (plus they didn't want the extra weight on such a mission).

The flight was estimated to be around seven hours if they went undetected, but the jet hadn't been accommodated like the one Ludwig had prepared earlier in the other dimension. Instead, this one had a military style inner space with metal chairs on both sides which were attached to the wall. It did also have a mini fridge filled with different foods that mainly consisted of giving an energy or carb blast and blankets. Kiku had gone into the cockpit where Amelia was flying, but she didn't have the heart to talk to him about what was on her mind; they just sat there quietly, enjoying each other's company.

Alice had tried to pass the time by working on little kiddy spells that were meant for entertainment, though in the end she just huffed a sigh and sat back. "You all are impossible." She groaned.

Francis looked at her curiously. "How so?"

She twirled her hair with her index finger as the rest of the room looked at her. "Well back when I was a pirate, days like this we would swap stories and fables to pass the time. It was way more fun than just sitting like rocks like you people."

There was a silence, and then suddenly Arthur stood up and valiantly as if he were an American. "You want to hear a story? I've got one for ya!"

Alice smiled as her doppelganger went off about his life on the sea and how he fought off Spanish invaders and found new lands and found gold while he was surrounded by a plethora of women. That was where Francis butted in.

"Mon Dieu Arthur, if you're going to lie at least make it somewhat believable. No woman dared go near you when you were so hideously rebellious." Then Francis started bringing up all these embarrassing moments about Arthur which made everybody laugh (except Arthur of course).

"Ah and this one time he had grown his hair so long that I thought a caterpillar had eaten him! He looked atrocious!" Francis nearly threw up from the memory, and then Arthur hit him over the head.

"But you should probably know that Francis here used to wear dresses as if it were a normal thing for men. He'd spin around and around like some pixie!" This set them all off into delirious laughter.

"At least you didn't have to suffer through Alice's childhood like I did!" Franҫoise started. "Did you know she once cut off her ponytails because I told her that if they grew long enough they'd fly away with her still attached?!"

Arthur nearly passed out. "Oh God! My stomach! Alice, are you serious?!"

"Shut up! At least I didn't accidentally set a pool on fire! I don't even know how somebody could do that!"

"Waaaaaa~?! Are you serious?" Feliciano looked at her in amazement.

"Shut up! It was a party; anything to everything happened that night!"

"Oh you mean like how you got so drunk that you two tried to skinny dip in a punch bowl?" Feliciana brought up.

Simultaneously the two glared her down as the rest of them laughed at the thought of such a sight.

"Please do tell us that one Feli~." Arthur made sure to agitate Alice and Franҫoise as he said it.

Even Ludwig had laughed throughout the night with them, so it was no surprise when he agreed with Arthur for Feli~ to tell the story. "I'd love to hear this." He remarked.

Feliciana began telling them all about the story while the other two were about to choke her to death.

"So you see we were having a party on Christmas and Alice and Franҫoise had gotten into a drinking contest. Anyways, nobody detested this and we all watched as they guzzled down drink after drink until Alice passed out on the floor. Wait…actually she passed out on Maddie who totally flipped and pushed Alice onto the floor."

"Shut up now…." Alice and Franҫoise were hissing.

"The two were such a sight we didn't even notice that the caterers had come and restocked the table of food until Alice took off her stockings and Franҫoise unbuttoned her shirt. Everybody was freaking out when they started stripping, but nobody stopped them until they hit lingerie." Feliciana wrinkled her nose, trying to remember the rest. "Then Franҫoise jumped into the tiny punch bowl and broke it, getting the entire table wet. That was when we kicked them out and they passed out in the hall."

The guys all looked at the two European countries in awe.

"I wouldn't mind seeing something like that for myself." Francis cooed.

"Shut up bloody frog!" Alice shouted angrily. "That was a one-time thing and it was all Franҫoise's fault!"

"EH EXCUSE ME?!" She huffed as she began choking Alice who started choking her back. "You instigated the entire thing you whore!"

"Who the hell are you calling a whore?! Honestly, you'd be much better off being named Panty than Franҫoise!"

"Don't give me that fucking otaku talk!" Franҫoise flipped Alice onto the floor with a thud.

"Oy that's enough!" Ludwig shouted but the two continued on.

Alice spun and tripped Franҫoise so that she landed on the floor with a thud. "Mon Dieu!"

"Panty! Panty! You're new name is Panty! Or maybe it'd be Scanty! Who would know with a girl like you?" Alice continued to mock Franny until she got a face full of foot.

"STOP IT YOU TWO!" Feliciana sternly shouted at them and the two stopped immediately.

Alice and Franҫoise stopped fighting and looked up at her. She was fuming some, but not enough to go full out crazy on them. Then Feliciana began to scold them on wasting energy that would be needed for later while the guys sat there dumbfounded at what they had just seen.

"Do we fight like that?" Arthur asked.

"Non, we fight classier then that." Francis waved his hand in dismissal towards Arthur.

"That is such a lie." The group looked and saw Kiku standing by the door to the flight deck.

He looked whiter than usual with all his color nearly flushed away; it was as if he had just seen a ghost.

"Amelia-san needs you three…." He shook out his words as he pointed to the three girls.

They all exchanged looks and walked into the cockpit to see what Amelia wanted; Kiku sat down next to Ludwig and Feliciano, his eyes lifeless.

"Um…Kiku are you alright?" Feliciano asked.

Kiku turned to him and stared. "It's all gone…."

"What?" Ludwig turned in fear.

"WHAT?!" Feliciana's voice resonated throughout the entire plane.

Amelia looked at her with a tear coming down her right eye. "They got through to base 12. It's all gone."

-We're nearing the end guys 0.o It's only a few chapters away; I feel it. Also, I wanted to do a chapter to show that they aren't just hardened war machines. They still enjoy each other and talking and all. It's just they don't get to do it often ;_;
