-Okay so I'm starting to think that as I go on to the ending my mind is slowly shutting down to nothingness. So...sorry for any crappy writing.
"My God." Ludwig quivered at the sight so ferocious that he nearly threw up.
The ball of its tentacles began to unfurl slowly revealing the portal that still worked at a shaky capacity, its vortex illuminating and pulsing violently.
"It's here? How?!" Amelia shouted with attempt of whisper.
Then the beast let out a blood curdling scream as lightning traveled from her body all throughout the goo dome, hitting the pods that hung from it and causing them to crack, the limp Kaydom bodies falling to the ground from great heights. Everyone stiffened at the sight of so many Kaydoms, thinking that there was no way out. But, to their surprise, the massive body lumps didn't move from their limp positions on the ground.
Amelia was horrified. "What's going on? Why aren't they attacking?"
Then, after she had said that, the tentacles that once surrounded the massive portal stabbed the backs of the limp Kaydoms and another shock of electricity went through the monsters body and into its dolls. As result, the Kaydoms rose up, shakily. Still, they only sat upright until the beast shocked them again.
Franҫoise held her crossbow tight. "So she's the real killer, everything else is just a puppet. They never had power, just her."
The Queen had yet to notice the group who stood at the corner of the dome, so she continued on. Her tentacles attached themselves to both the dome and the portal. She took her massive arms and began to rip the two arcs of the portal apart, the metal rattling.
"What the hell's she doing?!" Francis asked.
They stood silently then Feliciana realized the true horror. "She's going to rip the portal and send this entire dome into your world."
"How the hell did you figure that out?" Alice asked.
"Lazy writing on the author's part." She replied only to get a hit in the back of the head by Franҫoise.
"Damn it; don't go breaking the fourth wall! We already went through this." She shouted.
"We can't just stand here and let her into their world." Feliciana told the others then began belting out orders. "Distract her."
"You're crazy! Even if we were to get her attention now it wouldn't do anything. We'd be dead in minutes!" Alice pointed out.
"Then what?! Do we wait for them to invade their world?!" Feliciana pointed at Feliciano.
But it was too late. The monster had ripped the metal arcs apart, the vortex spreading violently and sucking everything in the boundaries of the dome into it, the suction breathtaking. It was like everything was falling, the ground disappearing beneath them and the world around them spinning. The Queen herself let out another horrendous scream as she and her newborns fell through until they forcefully hit ground.
"Where are we?" Alice asked.
"Reporting news of another anomaly, only this time it's occurring in the Grand Canyon. Reports state that a giant purple dome of plasma that is estimated to be over three feet tall has planted itself. We have yet to find out its contents but if this anything like the Pictonian invasion a few years ago than we can surely overtake it."
The lady on the news continued to ramble on as the remaining countries watched in horror. They had all gathered in America's or Alfred's home after the hospital had released Monika so that in case there was a call from the others they could all gather quickly. They had earlier decided that, as a state of respect, they would all go by human names so nobody could be considered the dominant country (Chun had made a big deal out of it).
The screen went on to show a helicopter's view of the purple goo dome.
"What the hell is that thing? It looks like an egg exploded or something!" Alfred shouted at the flat screen, jumping up from the couch.
The girls exchanged looks and Monika stood up. "Well are we just going to stand here or are we going to do something?"
"Eh…what?" China, now Yao, looked questioningly.
Monika, who had nearly healed back to her healthy state, looked down at Yao who was sitting on a brown love seat. "You heard me. This is obviously not just some happy little visit. We're going."
"I think Monika is correct to go." Anya smiled lightly, Russia/Ivan, was against the idea.
"It is obvious that no good can come from going."
"Exactly why we have to go." Sakura pointed out.
"Well then what the hell are we waiting for? I'll get us a ride there in no time!" He blatantly laughed, and as usual nobody laughed with him.
"How?" Chun asked.
"I'm America! I can do what I want when I want."
Then suddenly the lady on the news became frantic and the entire room became deathly silent. "This just in; demonic creatures have begun coming through the dome and are now heading to majorly populated areas. This is an emergency broadcast. Stay home, in basements. Something!"
The room was still, the expressions of everyone the same; horrified, speechless, and angered. Monika watched as the Kaydoms pushed through the goo as if it were nothing and prepared to kill anything in its path. She was so filled with anger that she punched straight through the plasma screen TV, sending little screen bits everywhere. Normally Alfred would have freaked out about it, but now he could only feel his body surge hot from the sight of those demonic beasts. Monika turned to the stunned group, tears rolling down her face.
"What's the fastest way to Arizona?!" She screamed forcefully.
Alfred stuttered in his answer, totally unprepared for the catastrophe ahead. "I-I'll make a call."
Sakura's clenched her teeth, the realization that she had failed to protect this world filling her mind. "No…I refuse to believe this." She whispered through her teeth.
Alfred pulled out his phone from his pocket and dialed a number then began talking. "I'm requesting immediate pickup XB-70 Valkyrie to destination Grand Canyon, Arizona immediately!" He put the phone back in his pocket and sat back down. "Give it five minutes."
Monika felt her eyes twitching from the anger filling her up insider; she had to go now. Did he not realize what was at stake? "Is it not possible for it to come any faster?!" She asked.
"five minutes is pretty fast, but that jet will get us there in no time." Alfred answered her back, his foot tapping against the carpeted floor nervously.
As he said, minutes later the jet came and it dropped a ladder so it wouldn't disturb the area even though they were already under the flight zone. One by one the countries climbed up and were inside the jet. Alfred patted the pilot on the back saying
"How fast can you get us there?"
"Just watch."
Meanwhile, in the dome the fight had begun. Everybody had scattered around the domes floor but the Queen was quick and murderous, her hands, tentacles, feet, and claws attacking every which way.
"What the hell do we do now?!" Amelia shouted at Feliciana who was trying to keep Feliciano out of the way of attack.
"Pray." She had no idea what to do now; she knew that Monika would have known what to do, but she was in the hospital.
Francis pulled Alice every which was as she attempted to send explosions off against the Queen with her wand, though they only served as distractions. Alice clutched onto Francis for dear life when the Queen let out another scream.
Amelia turned and was pulled by Kiku whose heart was racing not only because of the current situation but because he knew Amelia couldn't be hurt because then an unborn child would be killed as well.
They all regrouped after realizing they had to escape the dome. "Out now!" Ludwig shouted as he pushed Feliciano, who was crying, through the goo and followed.
Everyone went through as well, leaving the beast to herself as she spawned more and more Kaydom bodies by the minute. When they came out though, they weren't prepared for the sight that greeted them. Not only was it an entire force which was prepared to kill, but there in front of them were their comrades. In the front of them all was Monika, her face losing all despair when she saw Feliciana push her way out of the goo.
"Feliciana." Monika whispered under her breath.
