Epilogue Part 3: Progress and Change.

One Year Later

Much had changed in Konoha over the past one year, like all the wars before it had left its mark on the world and Konoha and the other Major Villages. However as is its nature Time never stands still and just as winter gives way to spring. War gave way to peace and sorrow gave way to happiness.

In the Hokage's Office

Not for the first time Tsunade was deep in thought, it had been a mostly uphill battle to get the Village back in working order and dealing with International Politics, thanks to some quick thinking and prompt help from Hiashi Hyuuga Tsunade had been able to prevent civil war in Konoha. Hiashi had come to her aid quickly at that time, at that time Hiashi had taken a great risk to help the Hokage. Thankfully the risk had paid off, however now it was time for the Hokage to take a risk and help Hiashi Hyuuga, as she looked at the monuments of her grandfather and grand uncle she tried to draw strength from them.

Unfortunately Tsunade was not alone in her office, for this meeting she had called Kurenai, Shizune and the President of the Civilian Council to discuss a matter of Importance. As she looked at the clock on the wall she knew the time had come to fulfill her promise she made to the Hiashi Hyuuga and the Hyuuga clan one year ago. However before she could fulfill her promise to Hiashi Hyuuga, she had to finish one last matter that was in front of her. It had taken 9 months of paperwork, political dancing and arguments to convince The Daimyo and his cabinet that Konoha was entitled to the now Barren lands of Kusagakure and Kawa no Kuni (The Land of Rivers.) Including Tanigakure and Ka no Kuni (The Land of That.)

After months of arguing and meetings the Daimyo and Tsunade had finally reached a compromise. Konohagakure would get Kusagakure and The Daimyo would get Tanigakure for civilian use, However when The Daimyo and The Hokage were unable to come to an agreement on the Land of Ka No Kuni. The Head Monk of the Fire Temple intervened and proposed a compromise and said that Konoha and The Daimyo combine forces and rebuild the nation and instead of a military outpost being outfitted there, the land would be a land of peace and learning and religious Guidance.

Tsunade and the Daimyo both thought it to be a good idea and after putting their heads together decided to build a grand Temple and Hermitage where the monks of the Fire Temple could continue their age-old traditions of living the shaolin principles. Which meant spending their lives praying and imparting knowledge and advice to all those who seek it. What had really surprised Tsunade was when the Civilian council approached her with a request. They had heard that part of the land that Konoha had sequestered in the war was being used to build an academy for Shinobi, and they also wanted a piece of land to create their own school. Tsunade was still amazed by what the Civilian council had told her.

Flashback

Tsunade was in her office speaking with the president of the Civilian council. "Hokage-sama, we have heard that you intend to expand Konoha's borders and are planning on building a school in the land formerly known as Ka no Kuni. We have a request, we wish for you to build a school for civilians where they can learn basic skills."

"In recent years many of our children have found interests in diverse subjects such as carpentry, stone masonry, and designing. However these subjects and courses are not taught in Konoha or within the Land of Fire, as a result we are forced to send our children far from home. Understandably it causes a myriad of different problems for many parents chief of them being the safety of their children while away from home as well as the fact that many of these courses are expensive and cause strains on the parents. Thus I have been asked by many parents to approach yourself with a request."

Tsunade was serious as she spoke, "I understand how it can be a difficult decision for many parents Mr. President, I am afraid I don't see how I can help, I might be Hokage but as you are aware I do not normally intervene in civilian matters, that is why we have a civilian council to deal with such matters."

The president smiled ruefully and he shivered under Tsunade's stern gaze as he handed her a manila folder with some information on it. "I agree Milady however the reason I come to you today is for a request that we would like you to approve. My colleagues and I have spoken about this at length and have decided that if you were to grant us a piece of land so that we may also build a school of our own where we can offer many of the same courses that our children now have to travel to far lands to get an opportunity to learn."

As Tsunade looked through the folder of the courses that many of the students wanted to study an idea started to form in her head, and she passed the folder to Shizune who also quickly read through it before closing it and keeping it aside and handing Tsunade another Manila folder.

Tsunade thought about the issue for a few moments as she perused through the folder for a long time. "Mr. President I am not one to stand in the way of knowledge or progress, however do you believe this to be a good decision to help the civilians within the village."

The president nodded his head eagerly and said "I do Hokage-sama, aside from the obvious benefits it will also yield a good business for the village and as yourself have said many time before, knowledge never goes to waste, the people within this village will be thankful to you for it. Besides that it can also help the shinobi population for instance if any of your shinobi retire and wish to lead a civilian life they can also attend this school and learn many things, which would also help contribute to our economy."

Tsunade nodded her head " yes, I can understand how it might be beneficial Mr. President, however I am afraid I cannot grant you more than 5 acres of land upon which you may build your school, however I have two courses I would like to add to this list of yours Mr. President. Martial arts and Medicine."

The president seemed confused and said But Hokage –Sama we civilians are unable to learn Medicine and Martial arts like your shinobi can."

Tsunade smiled and said "that may be true Mr. President but there are many medical procedures that can be taught to civilians that do not need chakra or other shinobi skills. The same can be said for Martial arts."

The president looked relieved to have gotten a positive answer to his request he bowed deeply "Very well Hokage-sama as you wish Many thanks to you Hokage-sama, for your generosity I assure you the amount of land is more than enough for our endeavor. However I am afraid that I must ask for two more favors Milady Hokage."

Tsunade smiled dryly and said "let me guess Mr. President one of those two favors is going to be funding isn't it?"

The president smiled and said "Actually no, Milady Hokage, you have done enough for the civilians of this Village, we understand the constraints upon you, no, we ask not for funding what we ask for is teachers, we want people who would be willing to teach our children the different subjects we offer, although we have a few in mind unfortunately our contacts are not as diverse as yours, neither can we vouch for their credibility as thoroughly as you and your shinobi can Hokage –sama, so if you could help us arrange for suitable teachers for our children and make sure that they are indeed the best ones for the job we would appreciate it."

Tsunade nodded her head as she understood the Presidents hidden meaning and said "Very well that seems like a reasonable request, granted what of your second request."

The president took a deep breath and said "Just as Konoha is a village of both Shinobi and Civilians, working side by side, we wish for the same for our school. We wish for your Shinobi to help us build a school, a school built by shinobi and civilians working together. We wish for our shinobi comrades to build the base of the school and we shall finish the rest. We promise to pay for whatever resources you give us, however we would appreciate it if you would treat us kindly."

Tsunade laughed and said "you are a superb politician Mr. President, you were able to put across your thoughts in a precise manner while still trying to sound respectful. Very well I shall look into the matter, I cannot promise you details as of yet, but I will promise you this: as a sign of good will and good faith I will gift you the 5 acre land at no cost to you and I shall even give you a 40% discount on whatever cost is incurred by me and my shinobi."

She then turned to Shizune and said "Shizune please assign Kurenai Sarutobi as my liaison with the president and myself. Tell her to hash out all the details with the Civilian council and when she is done I want to see the finished product."

Shizune nodded her head and said "Hai Tsunade-sama."

End Flashback

Tsunade finally turned away from the window and after giving one last glance at the document in front of her said "So Mr. President just to go over the highlights of this contract, I shall grant you 5 acres of land on which you may build your school, as agreed I will not sell you the land itself however I will charge you for the use of the land at a rate of 25% the cost of the land per year. I will also help you in finding teachers and lend you my resources to help you build a school. As agreed before you will also find the amount I will charge you for the various resources I will give you. For a complete list and details you may turn to the back of the contract,"

The President of the Civilian Council Yoshinori Isai looked over the contract and read it carefully, before speaking. "Thank You Milady Hokage, your help is appreciated. However there are a few more points within the contract that I would like to discuss before I sign it."

Tsunade nodded her head and spent the next hour discussing the finer points of the contract before the two parties signed the contract in front of witnesses. After signing the contract the president thanked the Hokage for all her help. "Hokage-sama I cannot thank you enough for helping us pave the road to helping us educate our children and hopefully this will help them see fewer struggles in life than we did."

Tsunade smiled and said "that is every parent's wish Yoshinori-san, as Hokage of this village my responsibility is not only to the shinobi of this village but the civilians as well." The conversation went on for a few more minutes as the two leaders discussed a few important issues before the President took his leave.

Meanwhile at the Namikaze Mansion

Naruto and Hinata were in bed panting heavily as the couple lay in each other's arms enjoying the touch of each other after another intense love making session. "Damn Hinata-Chan I have to say that waking up with you in my arms is by far the best way to wake up, I could definitely get used to this I can't wait to make you Hinata Namikaze."

Hinata giggled as she hugged Naruto even more tightly and started playing with his chest hair " *Sigh* I know what you mean Naruto-kun I too can't wait to get married to you but we have discussed this before, father needs my help in ensuring he has enough of a political majority to make some progressive changes for the clan. I love you Naruto-kun and the fact that you love me and are willing to wait for another year to marry me is enough for me. I don't need a piece of paper or some government official to pronounce us man and wife, as far as I am concerned we already are husband and wife."

Naruto wore his trademark grin on his face as he spoke "you have a way with words Hinata-Chan, I just love it when you say things like that, and although I would like nothing better than to just lie in bed with you and continue to make love to you. I am afraid there are a few important things I want to discuss with you and unfortunately you and I both need to be in full control of our senses with a full stomach in order for us to reach a proper conclusion.

A few minutes later

Naruto and Hinata were dressed in their fluffy bathrobes having just finished taking a shower together. Naruto led Hinata to his study room where he opened his safe and took out a few documents and passed them to Hinata. "What is this Naruto-kun?" Hinata asked taking the papers from him and reading through them.

Naruto smiled and said "this my dear Hinata-Chan is a contract that I got from Mayor Tazuna from the Land of Waves. Tsunade Baa-Chan had sent me on a mission to the Land of waves a few weeks back to give a message to the Tazuna, it seems the Civilian council also wants a piece of land to build their own school. So she sent me to Tazuna to see if any of his people were interested or qualified enough to become teachers in Carpentry and stone masonry and teach the subject to others.

While I was here Tazuna told me that in recent years his town had become a major port for Import and export, however because of high demand they now had to create 5 more docks to handle all the extra business. Unfortunately they only had enough funds to build 2 new Docks and Piers. As a result he was looking for new partners who could help him with funding for the other two."

Hinata smiled and said "let me guess Naruto-kun you said you might be interested and Tazuna-san then gave you a figure on how much it would cost along with these shuffle of documents which roughly outlined the costs involved along with all the relevant details of the same, and you want me to look them over to see whether it is a fair offer or not because you are unable to make any sense of it correct?"

Naruto grinned and said "You know me too well, Hinata-Chan, yes, that is what I want, however from what Tazuna tells me there is a growing demand for fine jewelry as well as bodyguard work. I was thinking even if we can't agree on the Docks Idea we have a backup plan. I just received a letter from The Hatori Hanzo and Kagerou Kousaka clans, it seems the newlyweds have recently opened a Security firm that will cater to the needs of Businessmen, actors, Political leaders etc. They want to branch out and create something lasting, they want me to help them find a few customers."

Hinata smiled and said "let me guess you recommended their services to Tazuna-san didn't you?

Naruto smiled and nodded his head "Yea I did and Tazuna was thrilled at the idea, It was something he was thinking about because in the last few months the import-export business has really boomed and because business has increased, security has become a real concern and seeing as he doesn't want to spend most of his profits on Shinobi guards we came to an agreement and he has hired the services of the Hanzo-Kousaka Security firm. Obviously with me being the middleman and primary investor in their company I get a 30% share of the profits from both Tazuna and the Security firm.

Hinata nodded her head while she was reading through the contract and said "the contract is a fair deal Naruto-kun. However there are a few points that need revision, but that is not my main concern Naruto-kun, my main concern is the amount, over the past few months we have invested heavily in different areas and as such we have spent quite a fair amount of our money. If you go through with this deal it will put a serious dent in our savings. We won't be able to invest in anything else for another 6 months and on top of that we would both have to go on at least 7 S-Rank and 5 A Rank missions each in order to bring our savings back up, unless….. Hinata then got a faraway look and then suddenly walked to the safe and started taking out another folder with a sheaf of papers and started reading through them."

"Uh babe what are you thinking, you have that sexy look on your face again that says: you found a way out of our financial issue."

Hinata ignored her lover and continued to read the documents in her hand for another few minutes before she spoke again "ok I just figured out a way, although I must say it's not my most favorite, these documents in my hand are related to the royalties for the Icha-Icha books that Master Jiraiya wrote. We can use the money from those royalties to pay for half of the amount and then use the profits we have received from the chain of Hotels you have built in the Land of Spring to fund this project."

Naruto looked spell-bound at Hinata as he digested what she said In the aftermath of Jiraiya's death there had been a great demand for the Icha-Icha series to continue, so Naruto having seen how his master wrote the books, decided to take the task upon himself to continue writing the series and continue his Master's work.

Hinata however was not at all pleased with Naruto's decision and had put her foot down on that decision and after much arguments, Naruto finally agreed to contact the publisher and decided to sell the rights to the Icha-Icha series. The publisher although not happy about the decision had been able to find another author for the book series and after many meetings a contract had finally been drawn up and it had been agreed that Naruto would continue to receive 100% of the royalties from the books as well as 35% of the profits that the author and publisher received from book sales, and if a movie deal were to be made based on the books Naruto would receive 25% of the profits received from the movie and book deal.

Naruto looked at Hinata for a minute like she was a goddess from above and said "Hinata-Chan, you are a genius, have I ever told you this before?" Before Hinata could even respond Naruto pulled her into his lap and started kissing her on the lips, as Hinata started to melt into the kiss, but before Naruto could deepen the kiss, Hinata suddenly broke the kiss and got off his lap.

"Oh no you don't Naruto-kun we just got out of bed a few minutes ago and unlike you I do not have the day to lounge around and have sex with you. Now get yourself together and listen to what I have to say. I have an idea, you remember that small cosmetic creams and Perfume Company I bought 9 months back?"

Naruto nodded his head and said "yea, I remember Hinata-Chan isn't that the company you bought on Ino's and Sakura's advice, if I'm not mistaken you bought the company on their advice and then sold them 20% of the shares each while you own 60% shares of the company. What about it?"

Hinata nodded her head and said yes, that one. Well in the past few months Sakura, Ino and I have experimented with a few different plants, flowers, and herbs and have managed to create some very inexpensive and effective creams and ointments that are really effective against things like acne, minor burns and tissue scarring. Thanks to the low-cost of production we have been able to create a niche market for these creams and ointments and are making a very healthy profit.

Naruto had a smirk on his face and said "and it doesn't hurt the fact either that you have Sakura and Ino as the faces of your little advertisements saying that the cream is so good even the apprentices of the Great Tsunade-sama prescribe it to their patients, you know looking at you Hinata-Chan no one would think you are a sneaky little minx but I know better, I know exactly how sneaky you can be.

Hinata had the good grace to blush before she said "Well seeing as Sakura, and Ino are not listed on the board of Directors under their real names and since they are not officially on the Board of Directors, their names lend credibility to the product.

However that is not the point Naruto-kun, the point is that because the company has become so successful after discussing it with Sakura and Ino, we three have decided to combine our money together and open a sister company that will use the same recipe and after making a few changes at a bit of an extra cost we can create a very potent and aromatic perfume which we can then bottle and sell for a very healthy profit."

Naruto nodded for Hinata to go on as he leaned back in his chair and ate his morning cereal as he listened to Hinata's proposal.

"What I want from you Naruto-kun is this: I want you to speak to the Daimyo of the Land of Spring about becoming the brand ambassador for our new Perfume which we have aptly named The Kunoichi. I want you to negotiate the contract with her about not only becoming the Brand ambassador of our product but also if she is willing to sell our perfume at her chain of hotels.

Naruto was laughing so hard his sides were hurting and tears were coming out of his eyes "oh really Hinata-Chan I love you and everything but I am afraid you have no talent for names why would you name a perfume The Kunoichi?"

Hinata had an angry look on her face as she spoke "Tenten came up with the name Naruto-kun and the reason the name of the perfume is Kunoichi is because it describes the perfume perfectly: Alluring but dangerous. If you don't like it your free to tell my dear sister in law that to her face. In fact did I mention that she is also a stock holder in our Company? Tenten, Sakura, Ino and I each own 25% of the company. Ino and I are responsible for purchasing the raw materials. Sakura supervises the mixing process, and Tenten is the one who has created the shape of the bottle."

Hinata took out a blueprint of the bottle from the safe and showed it to Naruto: it looked like an intricately carved Kunai, however the shape of the bottle was more curved around the sides. If looked at from a certain angle the Kunai resembled the body of a Beautiful woman, and suddenly Naruto understood why the perfume was called the Kunoichi, it was both alluring and dangerous a perfect name for such a perfume.

Naruto looked at Hinata with a sheepish grin and said "I stand corrected Hinata-Chan, fine I don't mind discussing it with Koyuki Kazahana. I have to meet with her next week about the Hotel issue anyway, but I'm afraid I am no good at the technical stuff about the perfume and all. How about I take Sakura-Chan with me and have her explain the details to Koyuki?"

Hinata nodded her head and said "that is a good idea Naruto kun and in exchange I will go to the land of waves and discuss the Contract about the docks with Tazuna-san, I will also take Neji nii-san with me to negotiate the terms of the contract, maybe while I am there I will check the possibility of opening a branch of my Jewelry store, it might be a good location for me to expand my business, I am sure a busy place like a pier will find many customers who would appreciate fine Obsidian and Gemstone jewelry."

Naruto nodded his head and said "that is a good idea Hinata-Chan, I will set up the dates with Tazuna and then let's see what happens." As the couple discussed further investment opportunities on the Horizon, Hiashi set out from his home on his way to a meeting with the Hokage.

In the Hokage's office

Tsunade was speaking with Shikaku Nara, Inoichi Yamanaka and Choza Akimichi about something. "As you know gentlemen, this is a request from the Daimyo as well as the Head monk of the Fire Temple. it seems in recent months the Temple has gotten fewer students to teach and many of the monks are eager to impart their knowledge to young and capable students before they leave their mortal coil. Therefore they have requested that members of the Nara, Yamanaka and Akimichi clans be enrolled in the hermitage to learn what the Monks have to teach them, when you said you wanted a few days to think about it, I gave it to you. Now I would like to hear your decision.

Shikaku looked at his two friends and after receiving head nods from them he spoke and said "after much discussion we have decided to accept the offer that the Daimyo has offered us as we believe it will help us all in the long run, however we have one request of our own. We wish for some of our clansmen to be given the chance to join the Daimyo's Twelve Guardian Ninja Squad. Whether they pass or fail will up to their individual performance in the test, but we wish for our clansmen to at least be given a chance."

Tsunade thought about this for a few moments before nodding her head and said "very well I believe it to be a fair request, it shall be done, anything else? She looked at the shaking heads of the three men and said "very well then dismissed."

5 minutes later

Hiashi Hyuuga entered the Hokage's office and after a few minutes of idle chit chat Tsunade came to the point and said "Well Hiashi I am all ears, you called for this meeting. How is it that I can help you?"

Hiashi smiled and said "thank you Hokage-sama, as you know in the past year I have introduced many changes into the Hyuuga clan. Chief of them being the removal of the Caged Bird Seal on the members of the Hyuuga clan branch members and trying to repair the damage caused by the Hyuuga Elders. I have made an example out of Hitachi Hyuuga, after some investigation I found that he was embezzling money from the clan in support of the Hyuuga elders who had in turn promised him Hinata's hand in marriage to his son. I have made an example of him by ensuring that all his funds are seized, however because he is a prominent member of the Hyuuga clan who wields much influence and power within the clan I have been able to subtly push him into a corner.

As such he has agreed to support my decision in choosing the next head of the clan as per my choice. After that he will retire as a shinobi of The Leaf and report to Anbu HQ for debriefing after passing the reins of his political chariot to Ko Hyuuga. To further save his own hide he has given me the names of others within the clan who were sympathetic towards The Hyuuga Elders. In exchange for all this he will keep half of his net worth and not be branded with the Caged Bird seal and escape prison."

I have come here personally to submit the list of people who were either involved directly or indirectly with Hyuuga clan elders. I would say however that not all of them were involved of their own free will. With the death of the Hyuuga Elders many of them have switched loyalties and while I am sufficiently able to deal with most of these people internally through various means, there are a few people for whom I will require your help with."

Hiashi Hyuuga removed a scroll from his robes, Tsunade opened the scroll and found a Manila folder with the names of those whom had been involved with the Hyuuga elders. Although the list was long it was very organized with each data entry being meticulously cross checked and color coded.

Looking up from the list Tsunade said "So how is it exactly you would like me to help you Hiashi-san. While this data is no doubt comprehensive and complete I am afraid I don't see how exactly you expect me to help you. If this report is correct there are seven people whom you are unable to manipulate to your line of thinking or otherwise take them out of the picture, I am unable to see how exactly I can eliminate them without arousing suspicion."

Hiashi smiled and said "well Hokage-sama out of these 7 people, 5 of them are retired shinobi who all have some medical condition or another. One of them suffers from Heart problems. Another suffers from High blood pressure, the third suffers from Lung cancer because of excessive pipe smoking. The other two suffer from Lower Respiratory Infections."

Tsunade had a stern look on her face and said "Do you honestly expect me to use my medical knowledge to hasten their death, if that is so then I am afraid you are mistaken and even if I did agree would it not be suspicious if they all dropped dead within weeks of each other?"

Hiashi was still smiling and said "Hokage-sama I am not asking you to hasten their death I assure you that their deaths can be very neatly arranged even without your help. What I am asking you is to simply help me create the impression that their deaths are near. If you were to help me with that then I would be able to manipulate the scenario in such a way that I could take control of them."

Tsunade had a confused look on her face and said "I am afraid I do not understand Hiashi what do you mean."

It is simple Milady these men have two things in common. One: is that they very rarely attend clan meetings and two: is that they all have their own puppets who do as they are told within the clan meetings. If these old men were to believe they were close to death they would try and install their puppets in places of power. However what they do not know is that their puppets are double agents. During my investigations I have been able to flip their loyalties and at this time their loyalties belong to me."

Tsunade smiled and said "I see what you mean Hiashi-san, by arranging events in a certain way you will be able to manipulate these men to your line of thinking."

Hiashi nodded and said "That is correct Milady, however if the medical reports I have got are correct all five of them will be dead within the next six months even without any intervention or encouragement from my side."

Tsunade nodded her head and said "very well Hiashi and what of the other two?"

Hiashi had a serious look on his face and said "The last two are brothers and are very careful of their actions, they are careful to never be caught, and even now after all my investigations I have no hard proof against them, however they are still active shinobi and us such under your direct command. These two men must be killed in order for me to ensure there are no more parasites within my clan. What I want is for you to assign them a long-term mission where they would be out of the village for at least three months. This will give me enough time to set the stage for my Successor."

Tsunade nodded her head and said "very well, Hiashi it is a risky move that you are playing, but I am behind you in your endeavor. Just make sure that we don't get burnt while playing with fire. Now why don't you show me the second scroll you have hiding in your sleeve."

Hiashi nodded his head and took out the second scroll and after passing it to the Hokage said "This Milady is a list of all the Hyuuga clan members who wish to learn medical jutsu, Fūinjutsu, Bukijutsu and Nature Manipulation techniques among a few other techniques, This scroll also has the names of those in the Hyuuga clan who wish to Join the Anbu."

Tsunade looked over the scroll before closing it and said "Very well Hiashi you have given me much to think about, I promise you I will support you as much as I can if need be, however I recommend you speak to the other clan heads and try and see if you can enter into any joint ventures together. It might give you a bit of breathing room and might open new possibilities."

Hiashi stood and nodded his head and said "Very well Tsunade-sama, I shall do as you say, Goodbye Milady."

"Good day Hiashi. I shall let you know as soon as I can."

9 Months later

Tsunade was at the Hyuuga estate where a large group of people had gathered to attend the wedding Of Neji Hyuuga and Tenten Sukiyaki. Tsunade had been asked to attend to perform the wedding ceremony and bless the newlyweds. The wedding had been postponed by 9 months because 5 members had died of Natural causes within 4 months of each other, while two other members of the Hyuuga clan had been K.I.A. on an S- Rank mission, incidentally both shinobi were brothers.

Therefore as a respect to the dead the marriage had been postponed. During these 5 months many members of the Hyuuga clan had been accepted into the Anbu Academy. Many of those wanting to learn the science of medicine, Fūinjutsu, Nature Manipulation, Bukijutsu and a variety of other skills had been accepted into the newly built Konoha Advanced studies Academy in Ka No Kuni. As an added bonus Neji had been promoted to the rank of Taichou and given his own squad of Anbu shinobi to train and lead on missions.

Tenten stood next to Neji looking beautiful in her white wedding gown, one hand entwined with Neji's while another hand-held a glass of champagne. The wedding was over and she was finally Tenten Neji Hyuuga. She looked towards her husband's face and saw with happiness that he no longer hid his forehead under bandages or the leaf Hitai-ate.

The Caged bird seal had long been removed from his forehead and instead a new seal had been etched onto his right arm. A Symbol showing an eye surrounded by rays of light and enclosed by a triangle. It was a seal that had been etched onto the seals of every single Hyuuga clan member's right arm. It functioned much like the caged seal which was activated upon death. It locked away the Byakugan forever rendering the eyes useless to enemy shinobi.

However there were three main differences, One: It could be camouflages and hidden under the skin if the wearer wished it by simply using their chakra to hide the seal. Two: It could not be used to inflict pain upon others. Third: while rendering the eyes useless to enemies, the seal could be reversed by an ally or anyone who was aware of the reversal seal up to six hours after death to salvage the eyes, in order to be transplanted if necessary.

Tenten's attention to her Husband's smiling face by Hiashi's voice. Tenten showed no outward reaction but inside she was jumping for joy, it seemed that the real show was about to begin and her husband would soon take center stage.

Hiashi clinked his spoon against his champagne glass as he called for attention. "My friends and family, I thank you heartily for coming here and sharing with me in this time of joy not to mention eating all my food and drinking all my liquor. It is with great happiness I congratulate my dear nephew Neji on his successful marriage. It seems another goat has been led to the slaughter." His statement was met with laughter by the audience.

"As you all know my eldest daughter Hinata has accepted a wedding proposal from Namikaze Naruto-san and they are due to be married by the end of the year. As such she has stepped down from the role of Heir to the Hyuuga clan as she will soon become the Matriarch of The Namikaze clan.

Therefore the title of clan heir goes to my younger Daughter Hanabi Hyuuga, unfortunately when she was named clan heir she immediately rejected the title as she felt she did not have the required qualities to become clan leader and instead wished to live the life of a simple shinobi serving her village and clan. Since then I have been greatly concerned about the future of my clan.

However after discussing the issue with my daughters and other important members of the Hyuuga council we reached a Unanimous decision that if my daughters were not willing to accept the title then the best person suited for the role of Head of clan would be none other than my dear nephew Neji Hyuuga."

While many of the Hyuuga clan members were surprised at Hiashi's decision, it was the first time in history that a Branch Member would be named as Head of the entire Hyuuga clan. The few of those who had seen the changing winds were not surprised by Hiashi's decision, however they played their role well, Neji included.

Neji was aware of all this having sat in many of the meetings himself, he was happy to see that the plan that he and his uncle had made two years ago after the attack on Konoha when he was in a hospital bed suffering from battle injuries. However Neji had to play the part of the surprised prince and played it well he did as he walked to the podium in a daze.

After thanking his uncle and the Council for the opportunity given to him. Neji looked at his uncle and after receiving permission from him spoke "I would like to thank my elders for believing in me and giving me this opportunity to serve the Hyuuga clan. However there is one man who also deserves recognition always preferring to protect and serve from the shadows wanting no glory for himself and instead content in the fact that his family was safe. However such selfless sacrifice must be recognized. Therefore By Executive Orders I Hereby Proclaim Ko- Hyuuga as leader of the Branch Hyuuga Family and Deputy Head of The Hyuuga clan."

Ko Hyuuga came up to the stage and after thanking everyone for the opportunity he magnified his voice and said "Glory Be to Konoha. Glory Be To the Hokage. Glory Be To the Fire Nation. Glory Be To the Daimyo."

Final A/N: wow, so I am finally finished with my Fanfic BY Executive Orders it has been a fantastic Journey. I loved every Minute of it. I am sorry I was so late in posting his last chapter for many days I could not bring myself to finish writing this chapter because I knew what it meant. For all my fans I really hope you enjoyed reading this story I put my heart, sweat and tears into it. I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this story. I hope with this last chapter I have answered all the questions.

There are a few things I would like to note: One: I am no politician and have no idea how politics work neither am I interested, however I am a great fan of mythology and with mythology comes politics, so many of my political endeavors within this fic are inspired by mythology Mainly Hindu, Greek, Roman and Christian Mythology.

Two: The New seal that the Hyuuga clan members are wearing is actually The Eye of Providence is a symbol showing an eye often surrounded by rays of light or a glory and usually enclosed by a triangle. It is sometimes interpreted as representing the eye of God watching over humankind (or divine providence). In the modern era, the most notable depiction of the eye is the reverse of the Great Seal of the United States, which appears on the United States one-dollar bill.

Three: I don't know how perfume is actually made but I believe it uses flowers and stuff so I drew on what little I knew. I also know that the shape of the bottle is also very important for a perfume. The shape of the bottle and the name of the perfume are my own original ideas.

This story is now complete, however I do have a couple of more Ideas in my head and for those of you who read the story closely might know that there is a twist around every corner. I plan on creating two sequels to this story. One: will describe the training regimen that the 9 Genin/Chunin go through to advance their abilities and skills. It will be named Training Chronicles.

The second sequel shall showcase a battle between the Chunin against their rivals. Kenshin vs. Kenpachi. Hanabi vs. Udon. Moegi vs. Tatsuki, Konohamaru vs. Kenpachi. However when and how they will be published I do not know. I might even combine both sequels into one. This much is certain I shall only start it once I have finished my Harry Potter Fanfic. So most likely not until next year if at all. Let us see how things unfold. So until the next time we meet my friends. Glory Be to Konoha.
