Chapter 12: Poison For the Boss and Spiders For the Spirits

The next day, Tsuna was back on the schedule of waking up early. Checking the time on this Friday morning, he saw that it was five. Seeing Vean and Lambo sleeping in each other arms and the other spirits sleeping in the comatose state, he decided to take a shower before they wake up.

He took a-little longer in the shower, making it a ten minute shower, he came out clean and refreshed. He looked up in shock to see Sora walking around. "So-Sora-san? Why are you awake?" Tsuna asked tilting his head slightly, trying to think of an answer.

Sora blushed slightly as answered, "I dreamt that I was being chased by a lady with pink hair throwing poisonous food at me." Sora then started shaking in fear as he continued, "After that, Reborn came after me dressed as the devil saying I needed more training."

Tsuna's faced paled, he put an arm on his brother's shoulder and asked, "Why don't I make you some pancakes while you try to forget about that nightmare?" The twins then walked to the kitchen with a sympathetic silence filling the air.

As Tsuna was working on making the pancakes, Sora decided to ask the same question, "What about you Nii-san? Why did you wake up so early?" To answer Tsuna shrugged. When Tsuna didn't give an actual answer, Sora gave a pout and mumbled, "Well at least I gave you an actual answer."

Tsuna sighed, "I honestly don't know, I've been getting up early for a while. It's probably nothing, except," Tsuna paused, (secretly) putting some ketchup on his forehead down to his chin. Tsuna then turn around slowly in the dimly lit room mumbling loudly, "IT MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS SPLITTING HEADACHE!"

Sora fell out of his chair and about to scream, if Tsuna didn't start chuckling and put his finger to lips. "Relax Sora-san," Tsuna stated through his chuckles, "It's just ketchup. AWW the eggs!"

When that was said, Reborn, Lal and Nana came in the almost screaming, "Not the eggs!" After getting strange looks from the twins, Lal explained, "Just something we saw on a show yesterday maggots. Anyway, Tsuna, I can't tutor you today because I need to re-stock on ammunition for you, so today you'll be going with Nana to your job."

Tsuna nodded, slightly happy about the training being cancelled. After that, the eggs were saved and everyone enjoyed breakfast until Sora grabbed his stuff to leave. After Sora left, Tsuna grabbed his stuff and went off as well.

On his way to school, Tsuna saw something lying on the sidewalk by a dropped can of soda. When he got close he saw that it was a crow. Tsuna was about to pick it up when he saw the soul of the crow come out of the body and fly away. He started to get a bad feeling.

TIME SKIP

School was surprisingly good for Tsuna. Nezu was sick and the substitute didn't call upon him. That day was the day that the girls were suppose to give the boys rice balls* and Kyoko gave hers to him. Well tried anyway, Sora stripped and ate all of the rice balls before he could try it. Tsuna guess it was payback for the incident earlier

Tsuna was now walking home with Sora. Tsuna had to ask, "What was that incident earlier?"

As soon as Tsuna asked Sora sighed, "Remember my nightmare earlier today?" When Tsuna nod, Sora continued, "Well that lady with pink hair showed up and to make a long story short, she doesn't really like me."

Tsuna nodded his head and was enjoying his walk with his brother. That is, until he past the dead crow's body and his contacts showed 'AKUMA ALERT' with an arrow pointing in the direction the crow spirit flew away earlier.

Tsuna barely stutter out, "S-Sorry Sora-san, I forgot I have to head towards my work. See you when I get home." He then ran in the arrow was pointing.

He entered a small ally way and called Satou, Itou and Watanabe. He then whispered, "Entering the spirit combat barrier." When Tsuna entered the combat barrier, he saw something he would have never see. Three akuma, each having a body of a black widow and one having an almost complete face, had Kano and the crow spirit in it's web, with the akuma about to bite Kano.

Without thinking, Tsuna yelled, "H-HEY! I'm a redeemer. G-go to He-Hell or I-I'll be f-forced to use violence." The akuma turned their heads to Tsuna, and started to chuckle. Tsuna blushed and turn to his spirits, "A-little help guys."

Watanabe stepped up and asked, "Considering that you have let both Satou and Itou morph with you, isn't it my turn?" Tsuna, with slight hesitation (would you want a pervert to take over your body?) Tsuna nodded his head yes.

Wanatabe body started to glow a slight blue and flowed into Tsuna. Once that was done Tsuna looked over to Satou and Itou and asked, "Would please turn into my weapons now?" The two both nodded and both glowed a yellow color. When they finished glowing, two elongated sai with katana handles with wolf pelts attached to them appeared.

Tsuna had grabbed the sai and faced the akuma, "Come and get me demons." With that the two akumas,the ones that had no skin on their skulls, jumped onto two different buildings. When they had landed, the two akuma shot a web like substance from their mouths like a cannon. Tsuna didn't move, he just twirled the sai like a saw cutting the web before it could wrap around him. As Tsuna was doing this he looked back to the akuma with an almost complete skull only to see a black blur coming at him.

Not being able to move, Tsuna got hit dead center of his chest. Being pushed to the edge of the combat barrier. It was then that the nearly completed akuma laughed, "Ha, that one is pitiful, he couldn't even take one of us down. However, his buddy here was able to kill seven. I'll eat him and become complete, you two can have that one."

The nearly completed akuma had started to climb the web and got to where it could easily bite Kano's neck. It was about to finish off the redeemer, but it stopped when it heard it's fellow akuma scream and the explosion that usually follows after it.

It turned around to see Tsuna kneel down with his sai where it guessed it's fellow akuma where. "I'm sorry, but if Kano was able to take down seven of you, how can I call myself a redeemer if I can't take down three?" Tsuna then got off his knee and pointed it to the unnamed akuma, "Now prepare yourself demon!"

"Sorry Tsuna," Kano's voice stopped both Tsuna and the akuma. It was then that a giant cross had pierce the akuma and shot it right in-front of Tsuna, "but he's already taken care of." Kano then climbed out of the cut that the cross had made.

"WERE YOU UP THE ENTIRE TIME?!" Tsuna yelled in frustration. Kano said nothing as he made a cross appear on his hand and cut down the crow from it's web.

Once the crow was free, it disappeared, Kano turned to Tsuna and answered his question with, "No, just at the point where the akuma had knocked across you a crossed the barrier." At this, Tsuna looked down trying to hide his blush. He looked up when Kano put his hand on his shoulder, "At least you did a good job pest." After saying that, Kano mumbled, "Exiting the spirit combat barrier."

Tsuna grew a small smirk and also mumbled, "Exiting the spirit combat barrier." When he finished, the circle shrunk and the buildings turned back to their regular color.

"D-DAME-TSUNA!?" Tsuna turned around, of all the people, IT HAD TO BE HIM!

Reborn at first was glad that Bianchi had came to help him out. He was able to help with Sorbaka's training and embarrass him at the same time. However, he doesn't like the fact that Bianchi saw him trying to make ramen(? It had a tentacle moving around in it, but there was a store bought package right by it) and jumped at the chance to help teach him how to cook. Troubling times are sure to come. 'Why,' Reborn thought, "Why couldn't it have been his brother?' Reborn wasn't even sure anymore, if this was worth trip anymore.
