Chapter 14: Training and Dame-Brothers

After school, Tsuna was walking with Kyoko and Hana, when (a wild) Lal suddenly appeared. "Maggot, today you're coming with me."

Tsuna paled but nodded his head, and waved goodbye to Kyoko and Hana, and started following his tortur-, I mean, tutor. After a good mile walk, the pair was in Namimori's woods. Tsuna, who was getting antsy in the shady forest, asked, "He-hey Lal, where are going?"

Lal let an annoyed sigh slip, turned, and shot Tsuna with her gun. Of course, it was a plastic bullet, but it still knocked the air out of him.

"Listen maggot," Lal growled out, "while we're training, you don't question me, got it?" Tsuna swallowed hard and nodded his head. This caused Lal to smirk, "Good, now we're almost there, so just be quiet and follow me."

About ten minutes later, they were in an wide opening with a lone boulder on the right side being the cover. Lal cocked her gun and turned and aimed it towards Tsuna, ordering, "Call your spirits now Maggot."

Tsuna quickly nodded his head and closed his eyes while whispering, "Come forth Satou, Itou, Watanabe." With an eerie green glow, the three appeared before Tsuna.

Watanabe was the first one to speak up, asking, "Oi, Tsuna, why did you call us up? I was in the middle of something."

Itou sighed and angrily muttered, "Probably snuck out to the bath-house again."

Tsuna was about to answer Watanabe, when Lal angerly shouted, "OI, Maggot! Call them already! We need to start already!"

At this, Tsuna looked confused and told her, "Th-they're right here Lal-san, can't you see them?"

Satou looked over to Tsuna and explained, "Tsuna, most people can't see ghosts or akuma outside of the 'Spirit Combat Zone'. It's actually pretty strange on how you're able to see us without the help of Redemption's technology, and even then, you could only see our outlines or the aura surrounding us.*"

Lal patience had ran out and she screamed, "Stop messing around and actually call them, Maggot!"

This time, Itou came to Tsuna's need and told him, "You're going to have to make a spirit combat area so she can see us. Oh yeah, you don't know how do you?" Tsuna shook his head, and Itou sighed, "Alright, I'll open it this time, just ask your Kaa-san about this later, alright?"

When Tsuna gave a nod, Itou smiled and raised her hand, "Open, the area where the living and the dead can fight for survival!" As she was saying this, Tsuna saw a light purple and bright pink bubble being formed above her raised hand, and when she finished, it grew, engulfing the surroundings turning the sky into a light pink color, and everything else neon pink.

Lal, who was aiming for Tsuna with an anti-tank rifle, was now staring in awe at how the surroundings had changed, and at the three figures who were floating near Tsuna. In her awe, she mumbled, "What the..."

She snapped out of her dazed state and glared towards Tsuna, demanding, "What just happened, Maggot!?"

Tsuna let a nervous chuckle slip, and answered, "This is the 'Spirit Combat Area' that we fight akuma in, but this one seems different."

Watanabe, in a bored tone, interrupted Tsuna with, "That's because this one was created by a ghost and not an akuma. You see, the 'SCA' is a representation of a ghosts/akuma soul, and since ghosts are usually purer than akuma, their souls show this lighter color."

Lal shook her head, and said, "Interesting, but back to business." She faced Tsuna with her killing intent slightly leaking. "I want to see how you fight with each spirit, so" she put away the rifle and grabbed a pistol, "come at me whenever."

Tsuna paled, he could tell that she was serious. This made his head hurt, almost like this situation had happened before. He felt a hand land on his shoulder, when he looked back, he saw Itou with a warm smile.

"Tsuna," Itou said in a motherly tone, "calm down. We've heard you fought her, and almost won. We will not let you lose." She then turned to Satou and Watanabe and demanded, "I'll possess Tsuna, you two become our weapon."Watanabe and Satou knew it was futile to fight against Itou when she was in this mode, so they just nodded their heads.

With that decided, Itou glowed a blue color as Satou and Watanbe started to glow a yellow color. When Itou possessed Tsuna, his appearance suddenly became more elegant, and when Satou and Watanabe finished glowing, they formed a bullwhip like weapon made of needles completely covering it and the handle was covered with a wolf's pelt.

Tsuna caught the whip and faced Lal showing how serious he is. Lal, with a look of slight surprise showing on her face, asked, "Are you done? If I was an akuma, I would have gone after you already. You need to work on that, minus 5 points."

As Tsuna listened to Lal, he became irritated and filled the whip with his spirit energy. When she finished talking, he cracked the whip towards her, sending hundreds of needles towards her at the speed of gunfire.

Lal reacted by firing her gun towards the middle of the needles and jumping over the needles. While jumping she scoffed, "Not taking in the enemies strong points, minus 5 points."

Tsuna noticed that Lal had actually shot a real bullet, and made a shield with his whip, fueling it with spirit energy to make it impossible for it to be pierced. After he felt the bullet hit, he launched it towards Lal to wrap her.

Lal ducked under the elongated whip and charged at Tsuna, scolding him by saying, "Leaving yourself wide open, minus 5 points."

Tsuna, who had become enraged, swung it so that it would smash anything under it. Lal saw this coming and rolled out. Her face showed a look between anger and disappointment as she mumbled, "Letting your emotions guide you, minus 10 points." She then fired her gun towards his head.

Tsuna was shocked and ducked under the bullet instinctively. When he looked up, all he saw was Lal's gun and felt it smash his face. Barely conscious, he saw blurs that looked like Lal. The blurs then said, "Over confident, minus 10 points. Total loss, 35 points." The blurs then made a movement of surprise, "That thing disappeared, wait does that mean..." Tsuna couldn't hear anymore and lost consciousness.

The first thing that Tsuna heard when he woke up was, "Bucking-horse Dino." When he raised his head, he notice Sora looking shocked, Reborn wearing a devious smirk, and a stranger that he guessed was handsome looking excited.

Sora was the first to speak up, asking, "Ts-Tsuna-nii, how long have you been up?"

Tsuna blinked, you think he just heard him talking about ruling the world or something. He then answered, "J-just long enough to hear, 'Bucking-horse Dino', why?" He noticed his answer had caused Reborn smile to fade and Sora's to calm down, suspicious.

Sora smiled a smile that could blind, and answered, "No reason, oh yeah, this," gesturing towards the blonde stranger, "Is Dino. He's the boss of the Chiavarone..." Sora started sweating and looked away as he continued, "the Chiavarone uh, um." He looked towards Dino and asked, "What are you the boss of again? I just can't remember. Hahaha."

Tsuna's brows furrowed, as he thought, 'Sora is really acting strange today. Is it because of the stranger, and where is Lal?' He let a sigh out and looked towards Dino

Dino smiled back at the twins and answered, "I'm the boss of the Chiavarone racing tracks. They're quite famous back in Italy, however," Dino turned his head to look at Tsuna completely, "So your my little bro's brother, huh? Well then," Dino was eyeing him like a predator would to his prey, "that would mean I have a little bro and a half brother." He closed his eyes trying to figure it out, completely losing the intimidating aura he had set up.

As Dino continued his personal debate about what to call Tsuna, the door burst open. In the door way, Lambo was pinned down by a familiar oval shape head, five year old, and Vean looking frightened for his life. When Tsuna recognized that it was Ipin, he turned to the rest of the people and asked, "What is she doing?"

Reborn spoke up, "She wanted to help you feel better, so we told her to keep everyone out." He then grew a smirk she's been at it for hours."

Tsuna grew a sympathetic smile, walked over the her, bent down to eye level, and asked, "Have you really?" With a small and nervous nod, Tsuna pat her on her head and said, "Thank you, now I'm all better." Ipin grew a blush (Lambo commenting that she looked like a tomato) and he walked out looking for Lal.

After feeling the house vibrating, which he passed off as a small earthquake, he found Lal and Nana talking at the table. His first thought was, 'I'm not going to like this. Something bad is going to happen, for me at least. Why does God hate me.'

Lal and Nana looked up, saw him, and smiled. They smiled a smile that made Reborn's devious smile look like Tsuna's puppy dog look. Tsuna was right, this isn't going to be fun, for him at least.

Reborn watched as Tsuna left and turned to ask Dino, "You can feel it too, can't you?"

Sora looked confused and Dino nodded his head. Dino's eyes got serious as he muttered, "Dame and no obvious potential, but high observant abilities and hiding something. You hit the nail on the head on both of them Reborn."

"W-wait," Sora was looking confused, and kinda scared for his brothers life, "why are you guys talking about my nii-chan like that? You're making it seem like your planning to kill him!"

Reborn jumped and kicked Sora's face, "Don't worry about that Sorbaka, he's safe. He and mama don't seem to be planning to harm the Vongola."

Sora gulped and stuttered as he asked, "A-and if they w-were?" Reborn didn't say anything and stared at the door with a dark look.

A dark silhouette was outside the Sawada residence with the a cheeky smile. He watched them, as they were unprepared and unsuspecting. He humored the idea of just going in and destroying that pitiful group. Before he could decide, another silhouette appeared beside him.

"What are you doing here?!" The second silhouette reprimanded, "Your endangering our entire mission just by being here!"

The first silhouette laughed, "They won't notice, and besides," He turned to the other silhouette, "Even if they did, I alone could kill them all without a sweat."

The second silhouette didn't even humor the idea before saying, "Our mission doesn't allow that until a later date. Now we're leaving, and that's final!"

The first silhouette laughed again, "Don't worry, I was just kidding." He made one look back before saying, "Goodbye for now, Redemption brats." Both silhouettes then disappeared and Tsuna had a deadly chill run down his back.

Inheritance of the Vongola

Tsuna was in the kitchen of his new house and freaking out. It's been eight years since Reborn came over to tutor him and today is the day that he finally accepts the will of the Vongola and becomes it's tenth boss.

Of course it's not like when he was a teen and couldn't even accept the idea, but it was still too much. So naturally he tried to escape, but Reborn had been prepared. He took away his gloves and pills, (great now he sounds like a drug addict) he has Dino and his men watching his house, having the Varia to escort him, and even got Byakuran to tell him any future where he got out of it and tell him.

He chuckled, even if he got away from them, he would have to face his guardians, and who knows what they would do. The one he really looking out for, was Mukuro, not wanting him to take his body. (Great now he sounds like a drug addict and gay.)

Time Skip

He was now in, what he calls, "THE ROOM WHERE HOPE OF NORMAL LIVES GO TO DIE!". All he has to do is to put down his signature and he becomes a mafia boss and hand it to the, "Father," who was an old guy in-front of him. Which he WILL NOT allow to happen. He looks slightly to the right and where he can SEE Reborn's killing intent. He gulps and starts to look to his left to see his mom there, ignorantly motioning him to sign the piece of paper. He let a dry chuckle escape, she doesn't even know.

As he was still having a internal struggle, he heard Reborn say, "You're taking too long Dame-Tsuna. Here." Tsuna blinked and looked over to his right to see reborn handing the "Father" a piece of line paper.When "Father" read the piece of paper, he looked over to Tsuna and cheered, "Congratulations, Tsunayoshi Sawada! You are now the Vongola's Decimo! We will now start the celebration."

Tsuna's face was agape, and then turned to question Reborn, "What did you give him Reborn!?"

After slapping Tsuna, Reborn answered, "All he needed was your signature, so we ripped it out of one of your middle school tests. Do you honestly think you're the first boss not wanting to be Vongola's next leader?"

Tsuna just gave a dry chuckle, he now fully believes God hates him and that he was forever doomed to be pushed around by Reborn...Great...
