Chapter 16: The Prologue to Devastation
"Wait, WHAT!" was all Tsuna could say, well yell. He couldn't believe what Watanabe announced so happily. "What do you mean Watanabe?"
Watanabe turned his head away from Tsuna and started sweating. It took him a bit to say, "W-well the only way for them to stay together was if they would fight akuma, and since they now can, why not join Redemption?"
Mochida was standing there slightly confused, still holding the sword his brother possessed. Not really understanding what this, 'Redemption' thing was besides what he learned in the last ten minutes, at least they seem like the good guys.
A purple portal appeared over the center of Namimori. Slowly falling out of the portal was the beast from the Behemonth clan. When it's body was completely out of the portal, it feel like meteor onto an abandon building, completely destroying the roof. It stretched while it unleashed such an inhumane growl that made spirits, animals, and even other akuma to freeze in terror.
Nana, Lal, Kyoko, Hana, and Haru were sitting around a business table, in the room they formed a group in, discussing what they actions they should be taking about the rising number of akuma appearing while they wait for Kano.
As they were going through plans, a red light started flashing and a voice was announcing, "THIS IS NOT A DRILL, THIS IS NOT A DRILL, AN A-CLASS AKUMA HAS BEEN DETECTED! PLEASE STAY IN GROUPS AND PREPARE FOR THE WORST."
Lal looked at Nana with confusion as she asked, "Mama, what's up? Why are A-class akuma so special that they need a warning like this?"
Nana's face was so frightened that he face turned into a pale white. She was able to answer Lal with, "They're the highest class of akuma. There are only seven types of these akuma, each with a special quality, and enough power to annihilate a small group of redeemers." She stood up and announced, "I need to find out where it's heading. Kyoko, Hana, Haru, you three are coming with me."
The three nodded their heads solemnly and followed Nana out. When they stepped out they saw a huge monitor that showed Namimori, with 'Redemption Cake Shop' glowing a green color, and blue dots that were scattered around and a single red dot moving closer to the nearest blue dot, which wasn't too far away.
Nana looked towards the girls and demanded, "Summon your spirits, we're going to intercept that akuma."
They all looked terrified and started sweating slightly, Hana was barely to choke out, "W-WHY!? If we go, we're as good as dead."
Nana gave them a pleading look, "Because," she practically whispered, "It's heading towards Tsuna."
Tsuna didn't know what happened. One second, he was arguing with Watanabe with Itou backing him up every now and then and Satou began laying down for a nap, the next, they were all on edge, and Vean woke up, looking close to tears, and even Jiro was shaking within Mochida's hand.
The next thing he knew, his spirits grabbed him and pulled him out of the way from an explosion. When he looked up, he realized that it wasn't an explosion, it was an akuma with rocky skin, wings and a tail. The akuma turned, showing it claws and fangs, but what really got Tsuna's attention was that it's skull was elongated and had eyes that belonged to a wild beast.
Satou nudged Tsuna, and whispered, "Let me posses you Tsuna. This is going to be a fight for survival for us, not him."
Slowly Tsuna nodded his head and let Satou possess him. While Tsuna was being possessed, Watanabe and Itou combined into the claws with needles for hair.
Mochida and Jiro were uncertain on what to do in the situation and were wanting to leave. However, they didn't want to leave Tsuna to fight off this, thing, alone. So Mochida slid into his kendo stance and yelled, "Hey, ugly!" catching the eye of the akuma, "I'll take you on alone. You can't be.."
He stopped yelling when it appeared next to him swinging it's claws towards him. Mochida was barely able to move, but with Jiro was fast enough to block the claws from impaling him. With all his might, Mochida swung Jiro to slice the beast's palm, drawing a small amount of blood.
The Beast screamed and raised it's other arm to attack, but was punched by Tsuna, sending him to the other side of the arena. While breathing hard, Tsuna turned to Mochida and asked, "Are you guys alright?"
Giving a small nod, Mochida answered, "Yeah I'm, LOOK OUT!" but it was too late. The akuma had closed the distance and slammed a fist into Tsuna's gut, which sent him flying straight into a wall of a building. After coughing out a small amount of blood, Tsuna was on the ground, having a noticeably rough time just trying to stand.
The akuma raced over to him and ready his claws to finish off the pesky redeemer. Mochinda's mind was racing, trying to think of an idea when Jiro suddenly yelled, "Onii-chan, I got an idea!"
Not wasting any time Mochida yelled, "Was is it?" as he watched the akuma pick up Tsuna.
"Pour all your energy into me and swing downwards with all you got! It's the only chance." Jiro explained.
Mochida pushed everything he got into Jiro and swung. The blade had made a blue cut in the air, which sent three, blue lions towards the akuma. One head bit the akuma on the shoulder, while another head bit the arm that was prepared to strike, and the akuma's tail.
The akuma let loose a wild scream and dropped Tsuna. It used it's claws to destroy the lions on it's shoulder and arm, and slammed the the one on it's tail, with it's tail.
When it turned, Mochida noticed that lions bites were already healing, and a new layer of rock was covering him. The akuma appeared before him and was about to slam a fist on his head. The akuma's fist was about to connect when a cross came out of nowhere blocking the fist.
Looking back, Mochida saw a blonde hair man walking towards them with a glare. He saw Tsuna on the ground and mumbled, "Pest." The akuma saw the man and screeched at him. The man made three crosses appear and threw them.
When the three crosses hit, the akuma was pushed back slightly but only made small scratches on it's armor. Seeing this, Kano, put on his gloves. He transferred his fighting spirit into the gloves and summoned more crosses.
The akuma growled and appeared behind Kano. Kano turned and punched the akuma in the chest and sent two of his crosses to stab it. The two crosses had hit the same area making a large crack in the akuma's armor.
Seeing an opportunity, he summoned the largest cross he could, and shot it straight towards the crack.
The akuma saw the large cross flying towards him and used it's wings to fly. When it looked down it was shocked to see the cross still gunning for it's chest. The akuma grabbed the small crosses, and with a scream, tore them from it's chest. It then threw them towards the large cross with hopes of it breaking. It didn't work.
The akuma finally stopped and transferred a large amount of energy to it fist and punched the cross. The force that was produced when the fist and cross collided started to cause the ground to shake. The akuma pushed forward, having the cross pierce it's hand, and punch it with all it's strength breaking the cross.
Surprised by the show of strength, Kano summoned all the crosses he could, some small, some large, some spinning like a saw, some like ready swords, and sent them after the akuma.
The akuma unleashed it's inhumane screech, destroying all of the smaller crosses, and then dived towards Kano through the crosses. When they hit, they either broke immediately or stuck to the akuma for a second before flying off somewhere.
Shocked, Kano put his arms up to shield himself from the akuma. When the akuma hit, Kano let out a horrid scream and a nasty, *snap* sound could be heard before the akuma smashed into the ground. The akuma stood, with some blood dripping off of it's skull, and faced Mochida.
Before the akuma could move, an exact copy rammed into it and screamed. The akuma that rammed the other shouted, "Human, protect my subordinates and I'll let you call me Vean when this is all over."
"Yea~! None of you are dead yet!" Mochida turned to Kyoko, Hana, a girl who looks somewhat of a mix between them were standing behind a grown women all wearing business attire.
The grown women turned towards the akuma and pulled out a blue pistol and continued, "You, however, are not as lucky huh? Go to Hell now or I'll send you there personally you damn akuma!"
The akuma looked between Vean, Nana, the girls behind her, and Mochida before opening a purple portal, jumping through, and close. Where it stood, two blue blobs smashed together and four spirits who looked mad that they missed.
Nana growled out a small, "Damn." before she looked over to Mochida and demanded, "You're going to tell us what happen back at base whether you like it or not, kid."
(Time Skip)
After explaining to Nana everything he knew, Mochida was allowed to head home with Jiro, as long as he showed up to the shop tomorrow for training.
As he was walking down the dark street, he felt eyes on him. He walked slightly faster, he heard another set of footsteps quicken. He turned around in an ally to face his follower, only to see a bar code, yo-yos, and needles fly toward him.
Reborn didn't like the smell of this. Firstly, Dino had to leave for business. Second off, Tsuna and that blonde kid from earlier got in some accident leaving them to be unconscious, and for the latter a broken arm. Finally there's the letter he got from Nono discussing about the break out of the top security prison. He just didn't like it.
He decided to ignore his growing suspicions of Nana, and focused on the orders he got from Nono, to find that the criminal, Mukuro Rokudo broke out and that he had put a stop to his actions at once.
Lucifer was walking through a stone walk way when he felt her presence. With an expecting smile he shouted, "I know you're there Leviathan, stop hiding." A more womanly silhouette appeared and gave Lucifer a death glare. His smile dropped into a smirk as he asked, "What's wrong Levi?"
"Shut it Lucifer!" Leviathan snapped, "You know I don't like that nick-name and you know why I'm here! Why did you use one of my pets for your enjoyment?"
"Why do you care? I only picked the runt of the litter." Lucifer defended. "Besides," he continued, "If it was one of mine, they would all be dead."
Leviathan's glare intensified as she asked, "Are you looking down on the Behemonth clan you greedy goat."
Lucifer's smirk faded with that comment and returned her glare. Before he could retaliate, another silhouette appeared and announced, "Master Lucifer, Mistress Leviathan, your presence has been asked to appear in the meeting room."
"By who?" The two spat out in disdain.
The silhouette continued, "By Master Satan himself."
The two gulped and nodded their heads. With that done, the silhouette disappeared. Lucifer muttered, "We'll finish this another time envious fish." before they disappeared.

Glad that most of my viewers liked that Mochida was added into the fray, I was worried for a second.
Don't worry about Tsuna, I have it all figured out. He'll just be in his own little world, or is he? You'll see next chapter so don't worry.
