Chapter 22: Letter of Challenge

Kano hadn't felt this excited in a long time. He ALWAYS had to hold back, he could never just cut loose and go all out, but, this time he felt like he could. He knew he would regret it afterwards, but he doesn't care!

Since he had already changed his clothes before leaving the hospital, he grabbed his gloves out of his pocket and put them on. As he got into his stance, he started powering up. The purple man raised up a hand and demanded, "Wait, I'm not the one that you'll be fighting."

Kano lowered his stance, but kept powering his gloves as he asked, "What do you mean by that you pest."

The man scoffed, "Do you not understand my words redeemer? I am not one to challenge fools!" Kano glared at the man, but did not say anything. (for now) "You shall die by my-!"

The man was stopped by another man jump kicking him to the face. The new man had an orange red skin, he was wearing no shoes, but jeans and a too tight of a shirt that made you forget that detail. He had black hair, horns, bat like wings, and a skinny serpent tail.

The man chuckled, "Oh Beelze~ you always try and ruin the fun.~" The new man turned to Kano and smiled with complete innocence as he asked, "Can you forget what he said to you? It'll be more fun when you're surprised like the rest of them.~"

Kano raised an eyebrow at 'rest', but kept quiet. He instead asked, "And what if I refuse?"

The man's killing intent became so thick that it literately made Kano choke on it. He looked up and saw the man's snake eyes. His body then tensed and he couldn't move a muscle. It was then that the man continued, "Let's just say, that you won't be problem to take out. I will tell you something though, find these people and tell them they have a month of training before Hell comes to greet them."

The man threw a list of familiar names towards him, before turning to, 'Beelze' and saying, "Let's leave now, if we wait any longer, and someone might take notice of us." 'Beelze' gave a small nod before opening a purple portal and disappearing through it with the other man close after.

After the man left, Kano could move again, but he felt like he shouldn't. The shame was what was keeping him down. After some time passed, he grabs the list and looks at the names. The names honestly didn't shock him that much. So he took out his phone, dialed her number and when she picked up, he said, "Devils are challenging some of us."

Nana didn't need this, nor did she want this, so why did it have to happen? Not only was Kano picked to face off against the Devils, but Kyoko, I-pin, Hana, Mochida, and even her little Tsu-kun! I-pin didn't even have a spirit! The only name that she didn't recognize was someone named Chrome.

She knows that she is going to have to train them over the next month, but how!? She can't focus on all of them, but she can't ignore them either! She knew that Kano will do his own training and Tsu-kun had Lal, but what about the others?

Her best bet would be to train Hana, and teach her everything she could before the match, but she needs to train up I-pin as well! She has an idea of who could train Kyoko, but what about Mochida? It looks like she isn't going to be getting any sleep for a long time.

Reborn gritted his teeth, he hated when information is delayed. So whoever fault it is for him just getting that Fon entered Namimori a week ago is going to pay, even if it was mother nature herself. (Not AGAIN!) He sighed, he needs some rest from time to time.
