After that whole crying session...the four of them continued their trek towards the hotspot where the shack lied...
Miko once again hugged Izuku's arm while her face sat against his own...but this time, he didn't resist to reciprocate her whenever possible as he nuzzled his face against her's, still embarrassed but...happier...
The two heroes looked on forth with a cautious gaze, not wanting to let the young duo behind them, to be at danger
The forest was rather silent, the sounds of their feet trampling the leaves was the only thing they heard other than their own chatter and breathing. The sky was dimming in light, not exactly evening but is on the verge of it...the cool air of the mountains getting even colder as they edged ever closer towards there destination
The dimming light of the sun fell upon a dingy old wooden shack in the middle of a 10 meter radius clearing
"Ah-eh-uh-haaah..." Miko made strangled noises as she looked forward with a noticeably fearful expression, "We are here...this is the place I was talking about..." she looked like she wanted to avert her eyes, which didn't go unnotcied by any of them, "Yotsuya-san...can you see them?" Izuku asked nervously, "Y-Yeah...they are there...just...standing there...blocking the view to the shack..." Izuku held her tighter as he powered up OFA to 0.1%
"Hmm...they really are what Yotsuya-san said they look like..." he spoke, "Yagi-san, please let's finish this fast...it's gonna be dark, the longer we drag this out" he requested to the hero, to which said person nodded swiftly
Aizawa stood a bit away from Allmight, him readying himself to use his quirk at a moment's notice, as the emaciated man walked towards the door of the shack
"Be careful, Yagi-san!" Izuku's voice reached Allmight, as he responds him with a thumbs up before putting a hand on the handle
All of their hearts were beating faster and faster as time felt, like it went on a crawl as the knob was turned slowly; squeaking sounds were heard as he pulled the door quickly while moving out of the way of the entrance, just in case
Nothing came so he looked inside to find a pretty shabby looking room, if you can call it even one...the place has few old wooden furnitures like a bookshelf with just a few books in the corner, a table in the perpendicular side of the shelf that as a toolbox with varying types of tools, a broken lamp, a plastic box for what appears to be dead arthropods and a sewing kit box. Those already made them feel uneasy, but...the one that was oddest out of them all was the somewhat old looking present box sitting on the wooden chair near the table
It had strong and unpleasant odor coming off of it...
Allmight didn't like the way everything's going, but he already had accepted that stuff like this could, which is why he sucked his breath and proceeded to open the present...only to be greeted by the rotten face of a man with black hair stare back at him with cold dead eyes...
Upon seeing it, he quickly closed the gift...he was able to hold in the urge to gag, due to his years of having seen gruesome scenes like this before, "Eraserhead, you saw it right?"
Aizawa who has been watching this for sometime now, answered with a nod
Allmight then looked towards the direction of the ghosts and spoke to them instead, "Hey, I am pretty sure you all, at least thought of whether we could see you or not from that talk the young lady and young man over there had, right?" the ghosts were jolted a bit, "You really can see us?" all of them asked in unison, "Yes, we can...except for Eraserhead here", "Ahh..." they looked like they were having a hard time believing anything, "Hey, is this him?" Allmight asked them, to which they nodded, "Yes, he used his quirk stupidly and ended up dead because of it" one of the ghosts, a black haired teen with a baseball cap, violet t shirt and cargo pants answered him, "What was his quirk?", "He can detach his head and also has a natural GPS to find it back, in case he lost it...if you are wondering how he ended like that well...he had tried of scaring that girl over there multiple times, by using his quirk and probably try something on her later, but the latest one didn't go well, since this dumbass ended up with his body getting trapped a bit further away from here, and there is the fact that he can't stay that way for too long without his body starting to lose its function...with the girl being cautious and choosing not to get close to the shack, his plans failed miserably as he died crying...heh...he deserved it" the ghost lastly said, while a bunch of ghostly bugs and centipedes spit out of his mouth and onto the ground, yet the four didn't seem to react to it as they were distracted by their own thoughts
Allmight looked at the ghost as a chill ran up his spine hearing that the man knew about Miko and was trying to do something to her, but thankfully it didn't go as planned for him, for the worst for him at that
Miko felt dread creep up her body after that, shivering so hard that it was only because of Izuku hugging and comforting that she didn't just start freezing up and pass out...
"Oh yeah, could you do us another favour" All of them, except Miko for obvious reasons...looked at him with a questioning gaze, basically asking what he wants, for which he asked, "Could you pick up our bodies too, it's below those planks covering the floor" he nonchalantly said
All of them(except Miko, again) had deadpann expressions as they looked at the ghost teen...
It was night time as Aizawa, Izuku and Miko were escorted by the cops in a car
Miko, while far better than she was back in those woods, is still recovering from the shock and experience as she and Izuku sat at the back, with him letting her hug him and rest her head on his shoulder
"I should have expected...I knew something like that was gonna happen...but, even then it creeped me out too much..." she groaned while Izuku stroked her head to make be more relaxed, "Brat, this is gonna sound harsh but, take this as a lesson and don't go foolishly into places like that, you gotta understand that you were pretty lucky this time..." scarf user scolded her, "Sorry...", "So, long as you listen...but still, it was a brave and helpful thing you did there, so I applaud you for that, at least..." her shaky and uneasy face showed a bit of appreciation for his compliment, "Thanks..." she said before continuing to cuddle him, melting into his warmth
She must be pretty beat up... Izuku looked at her tired form as he continued stroking her, enjoying her warm embrace
Both of the young coupl-duo's mothers were taken aback by seeing each of their children be escorted by cops, wondering in concern as to what happened, the younger of the Yotsuya and Midoriya siblings were on the other hand being a bit more expressive
"Nee-san?! What happened?!" "Nii-san?! What happened?!"
"Yes, Kyousuke...I'll explain everything, if you shut up for a second" she deadpanned
"Eri...let us explain, okay?" Izuku spoke more kindly with a tired, yet warm smile
And with that they proceeded to explain the situation, except for the parts regarding the ghosts as they replaced it with vague answers that could at least satisfy their families questions
At the end, Miko's and Izuku's mothers were upset at the idea of both of them going there at all, especially Miko's mom regarding her daughter venturing into unsafe places, yet...they were at least glad that they chose to call for help instead going alone. Kyousuke and Eri too finally calmed down after hearing the explanation
"Midoriya-kun, thank you for being there for my daughter, I appreciate you helping her out", "It's fine ma'm, your welcome!" Touko after having thanked the young man, she pointed her gaze towards her daughter who looked liked she had something in her mind as she kept on glancing multiple times at Izuku nervously, with a blush on her face. Seeing this, Touko came closer to Miko and whispered, "If you want say it, go ahead...I heard from Midoriya-san here that he is a pretty nice person and that he doesn't get mad or upset easily...so go say what you want to, okay?" she smiled reassuringly towards her, to which Miko looked at her with the same nervousness, before doing her best to smile and nodding
"Well...Midoriya-kun, it seems my daughter wants to have a small talk with you alone, so...would you mind it?", "Uhhh...sure...I don't mind it at all" he then towards his family, "Mom, Eri, I'll come back after talking, okay?", "Sure, sure young man" "Nii-san...come back sooner...okay", "Don't worry Eri, I am just going to talk over here for a bit and be back, okay?", "Okay..."
"Wait, wait! Hold up mom! Why is Nee-san aski-?!" "Hup, hup, hup! Let's get going Kyousuke...we shouldn't disturb them!", "Wha?! Mom, what's happening?! I don't get it!" the sounds of Kyousake's screams were getting further and further, as he was lightly dragged to the house by Touko
"Well that sure was...something...haah... no matter! Eri, come on! Let's get back in!", "Sure mom!" they too went back in
Izuku released his breath before looking towards Miko, whose face looked nervous as she continued to blush
"Yotsuya-san...what did you want to talk about with me?" he asked her casually, "I-I...how can I say this...umm... Midoriya-kun?", "Hmm, yes I am listening", "Well, you see...I know we've only known each other for only less than 3 days now, but...I've really come to like you a lot, after all the stuff you did for me...before I met you, I already accepted my fate as someone who has to deal with these things alone, but now...after seeing you...I finally got some hope that, I don't have to deal with them alone anymore..." she looked at her fingers as she was fiddling them, "I know it sounds like I only care because of your ability or something, which isn't the case to be exact...I mean, I do want you to help and all, but I only think of that as something that made us connect, just like how two people with same interests can end up becoming friends or even lovers at the end..." she looked towards him with as much confidence as she can, "I'll say it once again, Midoriya-ku- no! Izuku! I like you alot! I hope we get know more about each other, so that we can be more in the future!" she finished as she breathed heavily while blushing
Izuku was a blushing mess, trying his best to not pass out due to the confession from the beautiful girl in front of him Don't worry Izuku, we will make sure you don't! Thanks Yoichi...everyone... after that small exchange in his mind, he looked straight at her, still flustered yet putting on a easy smile, "You like me, huh?", "Y-Yes!", "I see...I am glad then" that response caused her to perk up, "I am really flustered that a pretty girl like you, are saying that you like me...I would have passed out if it weren't for me wanting to answer you" he said, his body shaking slightly before continuing on, "Just like you said earlier, we didn't know each other for long, but even then...I found you to be a great person, really...you are someone I really want to help out, especially after seeing you breakdown like that...I really want to be there for you..." he said before taking in a deep breath for what he is about to say, "All on all, you are beautiful person, Miko! Whether it be appearance-wise or on the inside...you are a gorgeous person, Miko...a gorgeous person who deserves a lot of help...which is why I really like you either...and so do I want to know more about you and become more closer..." he finished with a satisfied smile and release.of breath as he had finally let out what he wanted to say
At the end of their confessions, the two shared a brief moment of silence as they looked at each other with loving gazes...the cold wind blew pas them as it made them shiver, "Izuku...is it fine to call you Izuku?", "O-Oh! Sure, I don't mind", "Well, Izuku...you can call me Miko, then", "A-Ah! Miko...okay!" after that conversation, the two went into another short period of silence, nearly at the end of which...Miko started moving forward towards Izuku, "Yots- M-Miko?" Izuku wondered what she was about to do...at least kind of, considering he knew how something like this went, the last time it happened...because of which, he started blushing Is she gonna do it again? he watched nervously as she, like last time, was basically in his arms while having her hands on his shoulders I think it is... she puckered her soft and pink lips as she got closer and closer, "Hmmph~" he let her do her thing as he averted his head, both to let her kiss him and also due to his embarrassment of looking at her straight
But...it all changed when she pressed her fingers against his right cheek as a way to gesture him to look at her, which he did with a questioning gaze, "What?" she answered his question by pointing at her lips and then towards his, repeating the action a few times. Izuku realized what she was asking as his face turned even redder, "Wait, you want a kiss on the lips?" to which she asked nervously, "Yeah...d-do you not want to?" he looked at her flabbergasted and embarrassed beyond belief, looking up for a second Damnit, I am a fucking coward! I should just man up and do it myself for once! and with that he gained a more toughened, yet still nervous look as he grabbed her by the waist on his left arm, while gently holding her cheek on his right This is it! I can do it! he closed the gap between them slowly, along with Miko herself, as their eyes became heavier and heavier until
"Mmph~" their lips connected as they took in the warmth of one another, through their contact. Izuku could smell the same fragrance of cherry blossoms hit his nostril like before as he felt the softness and warmth of her lips against his Ahh~ I feel like I am in heaven right now~
Miko felt warm as she was held in her hero's arms. She caught on the smell of pine cone cologne as she continued her kissing, feeling the soft, yet rough lips of her partner This feels better~
The two of them kissed passionately as they melted into their kiss, forgetting everything around them for the moment.
They kept on going for a minute straight before they let go with a pop. They breathed a bit heavily as they looked into each other's eyes lovingly
"Does this mean...we are, you know...boyfriend and girlfriend or something..." Izuku asked her hesitantly
"Yes, Izuku...we are!" she said cheerfully as she hug him tightly, to which Izuku reciprocated back
They stayed like that for sometime before eventually letting go
"Hey, let's exchange phone numbers, shall we?", "Ah...eh? S-Sure..."
They exchanged numbers and started to get back into their homes after another hug and kissing a few more times
"See you tomorrow, Miko!"
"See you tomorrow too, Izuku!"
And just like that the two have finally got together...wonder what awaits them next...
