I will also be posting the conclusion of Senshi Cosmos today. If you haven't read it yet, go check it out.
It's short and sweet and is the conclusion to my entire series that starts with this beloved fic here.

As always thank you for your support and loyalty over the years!
His fingers gripped to hers lovingly and helped her back to her feet. The crown on her head felt weighty and she gulped with the responsibility it meant. Her bright blue eyes cast a glance to the man beside her and his lips curled up in a smirk.
"His royal Highness Endymion Lahaire King of Earth and his bride… Queen Serenity Lahaire," The Priest announced loudly and Endymion turned her to face the loud applause that greeted the announcement.
"Now you can tell me…" Endymion breathed to her and she turned to him with a small smile, those in the vast throne room celebrating loudly around them.
"Tell you what husband?" She asked curiously and he smirked, taking her hand and tucking it into the crook of his elbow.
"That I won our Conquest," he smirked and her lips curled up in a wide smile as she leaned into him.
"Please… I just married you for the crown," she winked and he grinned leading them down the aisle towards the exit.
"Liar," he hissed and she smiled happily, her cheeks almost hurting from smiling so much but she couldn't stop… even if she wanted to.
The last few hours had been a blur. A blur of congratulations, of smiles, of laughter. She picked up the hem of her dress, her hand tugging on his as she dragged him down one of the marble hallways. She heard his chuckle and smirked turning to a door and he caught up with her, his arm wrapping around her waist as he tasted from her lips. She giggled against him and pushed into the doors and they stumbled inside easily.
"Finally alone," Serenity whined, her attention going to his tunic and he let out a sigh and stilled her hands.
"Not yet," a male voice said behind her and Serenity groaned.
"So horrifying," she mumbled into her husband's chest and Endymion chuckled lightly.
"Serenity, please forgive our intrusion but we have something for you," her mother's voice filled the room and Serenity lifted her head, her eyes looking incredulously at her spouse as the horror that her parents were in her wedding suite dawned on her. She turned with a sigh and met the loving stares of her parents.
"It could not wait?" She inquired with a laugh and Fergal smirked.
"It could," he teased and she huffed and walked towards them.
"Yes?" She asked softly and Selenity smiled adoringly at her daughter than let out a deep breath. Serenity stilled at that. Gently her mother took her hands in her own.
"My darling… I am taking away your immortality," she whispered and Endymion stepped forward. Serenity's eyes widened a bit. "I could think of no greater gift I could give you… than to grow old with your love," she breathed and Serenity's eyes started to moisten. For a moment she paused as that thought dawned on her. All her life she had been living carelessly, aware she'd have hundreds of years to make mistakes, make memories, stay young… But Endymion had made her live in the moment. She wanted to live in the moment with him.
"Mother…" She whispered and than quickly rushed into her arms, holding onto her tightly. "Thank you," she breathed and Selenity nodded, gently caressing her daughter's head.
"I adore you my precious and I have never been more happy for you," she breathed and Serenity smiled lovingly at her parents.
"I guess I am not getting married so young after all…" Serenity suddenly laughed and Fergal grinned kissing her forehead.
"Yes, well we are leaving now so you may enjoy that new marriage," he smirked, grabbing his wife's hand to pull her quickly from the room.
The door shut soundly behind them and Endymion watched his bride curiously as she digested that information.
"Will you still love me when I am old Endymion?" She asked softly, a smile on her lips as she glanced coyly over her shoulder at him.
"I have a feeling I will love you much more then," he smirked and she turned, quickly throwing herself into his arms and he caught her, their lips attaching desperately. Even though it had been over a year their bodies remembered each other and sprang to life at each others touch. "My Queen," he breathed between heated kisses and she closed her eyes in happiness as he hoisted her into his arms, carrying her towards the bedchambers.
"Forever yours," she breathed into his ear and he couldn't agree more. He stilled suddenly and took in her appearance. Serenity held her breath as his deep ocean eyes roamed over her possessively.
"Blonde my love?" He questioned fingering the locks and she giggled, grabbing onto his hand to kiss his palm lovingly.
"Came with my Sun crown. Apparently my father thought I'd look good as a blonde as well," she breathed and he nodded, his chest taking deep breaths to prevent him from jumping her right there… he'd waited a year for this moment and he wasn't going to rush it. Her eyes glistened up at him lovingly.
"You look stunning," he whispered out and she smiled, a small tear trickling out of her eye. His hands roamed down her arms taking her fingers in his and he kissed them lovingly. "I am unworthy of such a luminescent bride," he breathed against her fingers and she choked back a small sob.
"You are not so bad looking yourself," she countered breathlessly and his eyes caught hers and she shivered at the look he was giving her.
"I don't think I could have ever imagined this moment even in my wildest dreams…" He said, gently cupping her cheeks. "Must you do everything so perfectly?" He hissed out and she laughed with a shake of her head.
"Must you be so blind?" She whined and he quickly captured her lips, possessively and she met his ardor. He gently pulled her towards the bed and took a moment to try and fiddle with her dress when suddenly he pulled away. She looked at him and laughed, eyeing the elaborate gown. "I have never gotten out of one of his creations easily or quickly…" She suddenly cried and he huffed.
"Than we should fire him as your stylist," he snapped and she giggled, wrapping her arms happily around him.
"This is the best moment of my life," she whispered and he gently tilted her face up to look at him and she held her breath as she caught small tears swimming in his eyes.
"Oh my love… so many more moments are about to come. This is just the beginning," he grinned and she grinned broadly at him before he captured her lips once more. They were going to figure out that dress if it took all night.
He watched with approval as a servant unrolled the new Galactic Alliance Emblem. It was called the New Alliance now and he was pretty impressed they could get so much done for it just within a matter of days.
"I do not know if my mother has slept these past few days… she has never been more excited creating all of the legal documents and emblems," Mercury smirked at his side and Artemis smiled at her.
"I shall miss you very much," he confessed and the aquatic warrior blushed. "You were the only one I could always count on for being proper at all times," he sighed and she let out a small laugh.
"You make me sound boring," she teased and Mars smirked walking up them.
"You are," she snapped and than handed Artemis a small mahogany box. "Her induction pen. I have delivered all the rest to the other Alliance members," she reported and Artemis nodded with a small smile.
"Everything is in place," he mumbled glancing around the domed area. It was the most sacred area of the Lunar Palace. Blessed by the goddess Selene it was last used when Sailor Galaxia had appeared yet today it would be the crowning of the New Alliance. The translucent ceiling had been altered the last few months. Etched in it were mirrored images of the planets that had been in Alliance with the Moon. Now there was a new addition… Earth.
"They are on their way Artie," a voice said beside him and he smirked a bit at the blonde goddess of Venus.
"You may never call me that," he retorted at her and she smirked with a wink. In another moment she vanished from his sight and he let out a breath as the members of the New Alliance began to descend into the sacred arena. Thrones had been placed in a semi-circle around the area, each having a tall pedestal behind it and he watched quietly as they began to take their spots. Slowly he made his way towards the main entrance and than stilled as two sets of blue eyes met his own. He bowed his head regally to them and than turned.
"The leader of the New Galactic Alliance, King Endymion," His voice resonated through the domed pavilion and the other Alliance members immediately stood. "And his bride… Queen Serenity of Earth," Artemis finished and Endymion smirked, gently escorting his beloved into the famed structure. She grinned, her hand holding onto his arm happily as they stepped forward. Her new gown hugged her features lovingly and it was odd for her not to be completely in white. While she was use to layers of white and silver hair she now reflected more of her father's people. Golden hair from two traditional Lunarian buns and a gold and white gown yet it was the crown on her head that was truly the difference. It was no longer a simple string of jewels most Princess' wore… but a gilded crown. It was smaller than the official one she had worn the day before yet still as important and one she wore with great respect and pride.
A swish was heard through the dome as one by one each Sacred Warrior jumped to their pedestal behind their respective planet's thrones. Serenity watched with admiration as her warriors stood tall and proud, the Outer Senshi accompanying them with a small hologram flickering to life at the end representing Pluto. She sucked in a deep breath, her whole childhood seeming to flash before her eyes. What a grand life she had lived here… among gods and goddess filled with power.
"We have had a very busy week," Endymion began with a small grin and those assembled returned his smile as they settled into their seats once more. "I appreciate you allowing me to call this special meeting during these much needed festivities," he began and gently removed his wife's hand from the crook of his elbow. "I am afraid I could not wait to add this planet to our Alliance a moment longer," he finished and Serenity looked at him a bit confused. Which planet was he speaking of? She glanced to her right to see her parents in their spot when suddenly she felt her husband squeeze her hand and turn to her. "The Sun," he added and her eyes widened.
"Darling," she chastised and he smirked at her with a small wink.
"I would like to petition to move all of the Sun Refugee's to Earth, if they are willing," he stated suddenly and all the air left Serenity's lungs. She grasped onto his hand as her eyes widened in delight.
"My love," she cooed and Fergal stood to his feet, eyeing the young King with admiration.
"They need to be with their Queen," Endymion concluded and a round of applause filled the arena. "That is if she will join our Alliance," he mused suddenly with a raised eyebrow and Serenity let out a small laugh.
"I am not automatically in it through marriage?" She questioned and he shook his head.
"No. You need to join it on your own. You cannot ride on my coattails," he teased and she smirked turning to the assembled.
"I should probably think about it… I have a people to look out for you know," she mused and he smirked.
"Think quick," he announced and a few chuckles filled the room. Artemis stepped up to them regally and opened a small mahogany box and Serenity gazed within. A small lapel pin rested on black velvet with the New Alliance Emblem.
"What a good idea," she mused to him with narrowed eyes and Endymion grinned at her.
"I'm a big fan of medals," he hissed with a small wink and she sucked in a deep breath.
"It shall be mine and my people's great honor to join the New Galactic Alliance," she responded loudly and all in attendance rose once more to their feet.
"Excellent choice," he mused gently pinning the pin upon her gown and she grinned happily at him.
"I've always thought so," she whispered and he let out a breath turning her towards the rest of the Alliance.
"It seems our Galactic Alliance is complete. Together our children's children will grow up in peace protected by the greatest warriors to ever grace the skies," Endymion breathed, bowing his head to the warriors standing tall on their pedestals. Together they bowed back to him and placed their arm over their chest in allegiance.
"If your father could see you now…" Serenity breathed beside him and Endymion smirked lacing his fingers with her own.
"Oh he is turning in his grave I am most certain," he mumbled and she smiled stepping closer to him. "Shall we get back to our celebration?" Endymion questioned those gathered and cheers echoed around him. Serenity smiled adoringly at her husband and leaned her head happily against his shoulder until the Monarchy began to pass her, each expressing their love and congratulations.
"May I request an audience with the Inner Court?" A voice suddenly called and Serenity blinked as Endymion stilled.
"What does that mean?" Endymion breathed to his bride and she pulled him closer as five sets of Monarch stilled, the others quietly filing out.
"Venus has requested an audience with the five inner planets: Mars, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and the Moon. It is a formal address since she has requested it in her Senshi form," Serenity filled in.
"Should we leave then?" He questioned and Serenity glanced at her mother who shook her head slowly.
"I think Earth is now part of the Inner Court," she breathed and slowly Venus, Jupiter, Mars and Mercury jumped down before them, bowing on their knee.
"We would humbly like to petition to follow the Silver Crystal to Earth and remain its protectors even though it no longer resides as the Princess of the Moon," Venus requested and Luna let out a sad breath looking at her beloved girls.
Endymion blinked with surprise and glanced at his wife who looked at her dear friends with sadness. Fergal smirked a bit, gently crossing his arms across his chest as Queen Amite of Mercury softly smiled.
"Did none of you read Serenity's proposal?" Endymion suddenly questioned and the four women's heads lifted.
"I did sire," Mercury filled in with a smile and Endymion smirked.
"And you decided not to tell them? We will be having a serious talk about you withholding information Mercury," he spat and Venus, Mars and Jupiter snapped their gaze to their genius.
"They did not ask my King," she responded casually and Venus eyes narrowed.
"What did it say Mercury?" she quietly snapped and Endymion let out a breath and glanced at his wife and she glanced back at him sadly.
"Darling, I think those only applied when I was the Princess of the Moon," she whispered and Queen Amite cleared her throat.
"The King and Queen of the Moon have guardianship over the Inner Court. They signed their guardianship over to their daughter as part of her endowment," she filled in sweetly and Venus stood abruptly.
"Amille! You couldn't have told me that before I announced a formal hearing?" She spat angrily and Mercury stood, her eyes wide.
"Again, there seems to be a lack of communication within our ranks. This should be a valuable lesson that all information should go through me before we make any drastic decisions. You did not inform us what you were doing, how was I supposed to know or tell you?" the aquatic senshi defended and Jupiter let out a breath, leaning upon her knee. She smiled ruefully at her parents and they grinned.
"They belong to me," Serenity suddenly smiled and she grinned at her four beloved warriors.
"They are yours to do with whatever you wish my darling… yet they still have to protect our galaxy," Fergal smiled gently squeezing her shoulder as he escorted his wife from the dome.
"Oh I hope this means grandchildren," Queen Martia smiled suddenly and Mars let out a breath, her hand covering her eyes in embarrassment.
"Will you take us with you?" a vulnerable voice asked and Serenity smiled, tears coming to her eyes and she rushed forward, her cousin immediately meeting her as they clung to each other, Jupiter, Mars and Mercury following quickly.
"Everywhere," Serenity breathed and Endymion smiled at the scene.
"Not everyday a man gets married and gets five women… good luck with that," King Jaron grinned at him and Endymion grinned amused at the King of Jupiter.
"Seems I am getting an entire court. You come with much baggage my darling," Endymion smirked and Serenity smiled adoringly at him, her warriors surrounding her.
"It takes a village my love," she cooed. Endymion waited patiently as the other monarch's left, his wife still rejoicing with her warriors.
"My love," he called and Serenity turned to him with a smile. "I feel this is a good time to bring up a request one of my Generals has put before me," he began and Venus straightened out her Queen's gown from all the creases their embraces had caused. Serenity giggled picking up her hem to try and get back to her feet. Jupiter pushed her up and she smiled stepping close to her beloved.
"Yes?" She inquired and he took her hand, gently bringing it to his lips to kiss the fingertips lovingly.
"Apparently Princess Marlina has acquired permission for Jedite to marry Reilie and as you are her guardian I petition permission for them, if you are so willing," he cooed sweetly against her fingers and Serenity's eyes widened in surprise.
"Never would have seen that coming!" Jupiter huffed punching Mars' arm and the fiery warrior looked horrified at her Queen.
"My love would you be ok if our guardians were to marry?" Serenity questioned sweetly leaning into him and Endymion glanced at the four women who immediately straightened.
"They might as well, since I am sure they will be all over one another in the same castle," he breathed kissing her forehead lovingly, her sun symbol sparkling upon her flawless features.
"Than as their guardian I hereby grant General Jedite's petition and any other that will be presented before me on the matter," Serenity announced with a grin.
"Permission to freak out my King?" Mars suddenly asked and he smirked with a nod. A scream filled the arena and Venus grabbed onto her companion quickly as her body began to shake.
"Sire, you have called for us?" General Kunzite questioned as the four Earthen Generals stood at the top of the stairs to the domed pavilion.
"We are off to our next banquet. The Outer Senshi will be on guard," Endymion mumbled, lovingly tucking his wife's hand into the crook of his arm as he led her from the arena.
"Yes my King and Queen," Kunzite breathed with a bow of his head. The eight warriors watched their King and Queen depart than turned to each other.
"You all right Mars?" Jedite asked with amusement seeing her resting in her leader's arms.
"I have been given permission to marry," she mumbled and Jedite's eyes widened and he immediately broke formation rushing down the steps towards her. Venus pushed her forward and she met him in the middle, gripping onto him tightly.
"To me my love, please say to me," he begged and she nodded quickly, her fingers clutching at his uniform and his lips dove claiming her a bit roughly and she responded with equal ardor.
"Aw, it's so romantic," Jupiter breathed dabbing at her eyes and Mercury shook her head with a grin.
"Do not get any ideas. I am not the marrying type," she spat marching up the steps and Zoycite smirked walking towards her.
"Whatever the lady likes," he breathed and she grinned standing beside him as they turned to watch Mars and Jedite begin to talk quietly to themselves.
"I imagine we are going to have to be making room for you four in the Earth's castle," Kunzite mused and Venus let out a nod with a deep breath.
"We must stay with our Queen," Venus offered and Kunzite nodded slowly making his way towards her.
"Our quarters have been redesigned this last year," he mused and Venus placed her hands on her hips, her eyes focused as she tried to remember the castle her new Queen will reside in.
"Hopefully they are positioned at all points of weakness," Venus offered and he nodded gently, his eyes softening towards her.
"With one in the King's wing for personal protection," he added and she nodded resolutely.
"I'll take that one," she announced and Kunzite grinned gently picking up her hand and bringing her fingers to his lips.
"Not a chance," he countered and she let out a breath, her eyes looking at him with love as her frame relaxed.
"She will always be first," she reminded and he nodded.
"He will always be first," he agreed and her lips curled up with affection.
"If you don't mind being second…" she began and he yanked her into his arms, her lips attacking his with ardor as her frame flew into his arms.
"Hm… Happily ever After?" Jupiter inquired with a joyous grin, Nephlite gazing upon her adoringly from the steps and Mars giggled beside her.
"Why not," she breathed, her fingers gently running down her love's face.
Heel clicks were heard suddenly and Venus and Kunzite yanked apart.
"Sister!" Marlina's voice echoed in the room and Mars let out a laugh shaking her head, Jedite grinning at her.
"We are having a moment Marlina!" Jedite called and the Princess smirked, her husband beside her as they looked at the eight warriors.
"Oh you will have plenty of time for moments, come with me now," she ordered holding out her hand and the two looked at her tolerantly. "I have the marriage license and two hours. Come on!" Marlina hissed to them and Alexander smirked at his wife than turned to his twin sister.
"This your love sister?" He questioned and Zoycite straightened, bowing before him. Mercury smirked adoringly at her brother and nodded.
"Do you approve?" She inquired and Alexander glanced at the man once more than let out a breath, his gaze turning to his own wife who was yanking on her sister.
"He seems a more stable choice than my own," he mused tilting his head to the side to lovingly take in the feisty woman before him he claimed as his own.
"He has his flaws, but I still want him," Mercury mumbled honestly and Alexander turned to her with a glowing smile.
"Proud of you sister," he breathed with affection and she stepped forward and gently kissed his cheek.
"Proud of you brother," she responded just as warmly as Marlina and Reilie's voices began to rise.
"What if I do not want to get married today?" Mars snapped a bit annoyed at her sister's interference.
"The Monarch that owns you just informed me you can get married. I don't think it's really up to you, get up here now," Marlina demanded and Jedite smirked squeezing her tight.
"Ah, nothing like being reminded we are slaves to get in the romantic mood," Jedite breathed and Mars snacked his arm playfully.
"I am not a slave," Mars snapped at her sister and Marlina shrugged.
"Leave granted," Venus ordered and Mars shot a horrified look at her leader. "Go," Venus said motioning with her hand.
"Oh for the love of…" Mars words cut short as her sister yanked her arm pulling her and Jedite up the steps.
"Very cute," Prince Alexander mumbled to them all and Mercury raised an eyebrow at her twin brother.
"What is cute brother?" She snapped and he shrugged, leisurely following after his bride.
"The whole guardians falling in love with their charges guardians. A bit perfect don't you think?" Alexander mused with a wink and Mercury let out a breath, a smile tugging at her lips.
"It is a bit perfect," Jupiter mused with a wink to her beloved and Nephlite shook his head with amusement.
"Tell me everything," Endymion began, his eyes digging into the forms standing before him. Two of her Senshi stood before him next to his head general with Artemis beside the monarch of the Moon. "I want to know what they all say about her," he continued and Fergal grinned a bit at the young King. Mercury quickly opened up the worn book before her.
"Among the Earthen prophecy about you there were two others about her all given the year of her birth," Mercury began dutifully. "One prophesy is about her power. According to Sun Scholars it foretells she will be the most powerful holder of the Imperial Silver Crystal," Mercury said glancing up at him and Endymion felt a chill go down his back.
"What kind of power are we talking about?" Endymion breathed and Venus pressed her lips together.
"The Crystal passes down. Currently I am the main holder with half of it in my daughter. If I pass it will go to her completely and then break in half again when she has her own child," Selenity filled in and Endymion stopped breathing. It would go to his daughter…
"Breathe sire," Kunzite commanded beside him and Endymion sucked in a breath.
"Serenity's power awakened when she protected the Earth and Mercury from the Sun's implosion," Artemis picked up. "Making her able to tap its full power."
"How is that possible if there can only be one main holder at a time?" Endymion questioned and Selenity smiled.
"I believe it is because Serenity is the daughter of not just one magical being but two. The Queen's father was mortal," Artemis filled in and Fergal let out a sun curse and Endymion glanced at him.
"Seren said you found all of this out last year," Endymion mumbled with sympathy and Fergal narrowed his eyes.
"Your wife was kinder than mine," he spat and Selenity narrowed her eyes.
"I did not ask you to marry me my love, it was the other way around," Selenity spat and Fergal's eyes softened a bit at her.
"Still, you could have found some moment in the 400 years before we had her," Fergal spat and Selenity just held his gaze.
"You have been together for 400 years?" Endymion questioned and Fergal grinned at him.
"Four hundred and twenty," Fergal smirked and Endymion let out a jealous sigh.
Fergal noticed the worry on Endymion's features and felt compassion. "Why did you not ask us these questions before you married?" He inquired and Endymion shook his head dismissing the question.
"It would not have changed my intentions towards her," he answered quickly. "She warned me long ago against her. Told me about being able to only have one child because of the crystal. I knew what I was getting into when I fell for her," Endymion breathed and Fergal's heart swelled for him. "Yet, knowing that only makes me more vigilant for her. While I appreciate your gift of taking away her immortality… selfishly I do not want her to ever suffer," he confessed and Mercury closed the book in her hands.
"Sire, I have been studying these scripts since I was ten and I fear I must tell you something," Mercury began and cast a glance towards her Queen. Selenity nodded her head once and Mercury stepped up to him. "According to my research, Serenity is one of four," Mercury admitted and Endymion raised an eyebrow at her.
"I thought she was an only child," Endymion questioned and Fergal looked with confusion upon the Mercurian.
"There are four woman who rotate as the eternal guardians of the Silver Crystal. The first is Selene: the goddess of the Moon. After comes her daughter Selenity. Serenity is the third with the fourth being your daughter. After that it will start again with Selene being reborn as your daughter's daughter and so forth…" Mercury explained and Endymion's eyes widened.
"What?" Fergal spat turning to his wife in horror. "How many cycles has this gone through!?" He demanded and Selenity glanced at him with a bit of surprise.
"I do not know," Selenity confessed and Mercury shook her head.
"It is still in its first rotation," Mercury admitted and quickly pulled out another book and turned to a few pages. She began to read the ancient text to herself and then nodded. "Four is the universal number. After that it will start over since the crystal can only attach to it's four pillar corners. So far only three corners have been activated. Once your daughter is born it will seal the four corners and lock into place creating the rotation schedule," Mercury said glancing up at them and Venus blinked, surprised at this new information.
"How long have you known this?" She asked quietly and Mercury shook her head with a small gulp.
"I have not wanted to believe it for some time yet when she fully awakened before her time I just… I had to believe she was the interlocking piece they spoke of. Selene was created with the power and passed it on to her daughter and the Crystal passed easily as the only magic. Yet, because Serenity had a starting point of magic from the Sun I think when the Crystal fused with her it created a reaction. Thankfully the two magic forms were complimentary," Mercury mused and Endymion narrowed his eyes at her.
"Like what, she could have exploded when she was born?" He hissed and Mercury shrugged.
"That would have been unfortunate," she mused looking back at her books and Venus immediately put a hand on Endymion calming him so he wouldn't charge towards the Mercurian.
"I did not know that," Selenity confessed and Fergal nodded quickly taking her in his arms. "I would have tried much harder against you," she said glancing at him and he let out a breath.
"I'd have still won you," he admitted and she frowned sadly at him though her eyes were alive with affection for him.
"I think because of that it can explain the last prophesy that only she could be the one to fulfill it since she will be the strongest carrier of Crystal. I mean no offence your majesty but the Sun's magic is stronger than yours," Mercury said meekly towards Endymion. "An evil would come so strong to take us all out except her. In her last breath she would save the entire galaxy and start another revolution bringing all of us back."
"She is mortal. What if they kill her before the end?" Kunzite questioned stepping closer to his master.
"It is not in the prophesy. She will be the last one standing," Mercury said with a shake of her head still not fully understanding.
"There are too many variables," Kunzite continued. "What if they are killed before the fourth pillar falls into place? If this prophesy comes to pass before Serenity produces an heir?" Kunzite asked and Mercury gripped the book to her.
"I… I have no data to confirm but I imagine if the carriers were both to perish with no one to carry it on… biologically it would collapse and since it helps hold our galaxy together it would tare a hole in our existence," Mercury attempted and Venus covered her mouth in horror.
"I am going to be sick," Endymion breathed turning away from all of them. Fergal approached him quickly and wrapped an arm around him and Endymion gripped onto his arm trying to find an anchor as he felt his world spin out of control.
"There are no time tables on the prophesy," Artemis suddenly supplied and Endymion glanced at him.
"What does that mean?" He demanded.
"If Mercury is correct and I strongly believe she is," Artemis said stepping forward and Mercury bowed her head. "This could apply to another rotation. What if this does not happen in Serenity's first revolution but in her second or her third?" He questioned and Endymion sucked in a deep breath.
"That would make sense since it was quite an anomaly for her to have three prophesies on her… most only have one if any," Mercury mused thoughtfully.
"But that isn't guaranteed," Endymion spat and Artemis shook his head.
"That is why I have been preparing her in case it does," Venus spoke up and Endymion turned to her. "I am afraid her training ended when you left a year ago. I have not picked it up since upon her demand but now that she is back in her right frame of mind she will want to continue it," Venus supplied and Endymion shook his head quickly.
"Not until I say she is ready," he commanded and the Warrior from Venus bowed her head in agreement.
"Sire, if I may be so bold," Kunzite breathed and the young Earth King turned to his head General. "Jedite and I started a training ground about a year and a half ago after the Sun imploded. We have been preparing it to help teach her how to control her magic,"
Kunzite breathed. "I found some Sun Warriors who have also offered their service since I think her Sun magic has greatly affected her crystal."
"How very intentional General Kunzite," Fergal noted and the General bowed his head in respect.
"I like to plan ahead and knew she would be our Queen. It just deepened on how long it took them to make it happen," Kunzite admitted and Fergal smirked at him in approval.
"Kunzite," Endymion groaned, not even wanting to chastise him for his statement.
"Are you all done talking about me yet?" A new voice entered into their presence and they turned quickly to spy Serenity standing near the now open door. "The transport is ready my love," the young queen cooed and Endymion walked quickly towards her. She smiled charmingly at him as he pulled her securely into his warm embrace. He pulled away gently, pressing his lips lovingly to her forehead. Venus, Mercury and the General filed out towards the waiting transport, leaving the monarchs and their advisor behind.
Serenity pulled away, her hand cupping her beloved's cheek.
"I am not afraid. You should not be either," she said with a smile.
"I would not love you if I did not fear for you," Endymion breathed and she smiled happily at him, closing her eyes in contentment as she leaned her forehead against his own.
"I will protect you always," she whispered and Endymion closed his eyes sadly, his arms gripping onto her.
"Bid your goodbyes my Queen. It is time we go home," he whispered lovingly kissing her cheek and she smiled turning her eyes to her waiting parents.
"I expect at least a ten minute hug," Fergal demanded and Serenity smirked.
She kicked at a stone angrily as she trudged through her father's province. Perhaps a new hat? A new dress would bring her out of her despair? She sighed miserably as she took in the small town before her. No one would love him like she would… how could she not make him see that?
"Here ye, Here ye."
A bell rang in the distance and she stilled as she and the other inhabitants of the village turned to the center of the square. Her breath held as she expected to see his face appear. He frequently sent word throughout his Kingdom and she knew it endeared his people to him. Her feet shuffled that way as others followed suit, curious to hear what was to be announced.
"Here ye, Here ye," The voice repeated and the screen flicked to life and a hologram appeared of Mosk, Endymion's main advisor. Beryl let out a sigh, her frame deflating. She turned away annoyed she wouldn't see her Prince. "It is my great pleasure to share with the beloved people of Earth that our King, Endymion has wed," her frame stilled and all the air flew from her lungs. Gasps filled the area as soon an image appeared of King Endymion, a stunning woman on his arm draped in white and gold, her bright blue eyes kind. "King Endymion has married the Princess of the Sun, Serenity and you are cordially invited to our new Queen's Coronation in four days time. She is beloved of her people and has served as head of the Galactic Alliance for the past four years. She will bring our people peace throughout the galaxy and unending love to our beloved King," Mosk finished with a bow and the photo of their King and new Queen continued to display.
"She is stunning," A voice whispered and Beryl stared with anger at the image. She felt bile rise in her throat and she pushed it down, her eyes burning with unshed tears.
She could feel the people around her start to endear themselves to her image and she shook her head roughly.
"She is of the Sun. They are wild and magical… she will look down on us," she spat quietly and a few near her gasped and let that thought simmer. "She is nothing like us. Why could he not marry an Earthling? Are his people not good enough for him?" She continued, her voice questioning and she watched as a few begin to stew that thought over.
"Endymion has always loved us. He is a far better King than Duucan ever was… if he trusts her why shouldn't we?" A villager question and Beryl shrugged.
"Who is she? Where did she come from? How come we have never heard of our Prince courting this woman?" She questioned and the villager let out a breath. "What if she has tricked him? Tricked him to take away our neutrality!" She gasped and a few others slowly began to talk amongst themselves. She watched as they looked at the image with confusion and went on their way, her words fresh in their minds. She smirked a bit taking in the image before her.
"If you can't win him… destroy him," she breathed, her eyes flashing angrily as she took in the King's image before her and his new bride. How dare she take what was rightfully hers? This was not the end… he will rue the day he took her to his bed.
