Callie pushed her key into the lock and opened the door. She had no idea who was awake inside the house so she was as quiet as possible as she entered, pulling her suitcase behind her. Just as she had shut the door she heard small footsteps moving towards her location, from the living room to her left. Callie turned just in time to catch the three foot one inch of three year old that had launched itself at her. She lifted the girl onto her hip and kissed her all over her cheeks.

"Mommy!" She giggled.

"What are you still doing up?" The brunette felt a hand on her arm and looked around to find her wife standing next to her. She kissed her in a loving but appropriate way before speaking again. "Why is Sofia still up?" She'd begun bouncing her daughter on her hip and buried her nose in the dark hair on the top of Sofia's head.

"She wanted to wait till you got home and well; she did eat all of her vegetables." Arizona smiled.

"Is that so?" Callie asked the girl. She received a nod in return and it was closely followed by a yawn. "Time for bed Sofia." There was resistance but it was completely undermined by another yawn. "You go up and find a book and get into bed. I'll be up really soon."

As soon as those little feet hit the ground they began climbing the stairs.

Arizona began removing her wife's coat whilst also kissing her. She kissed her like a woman who hadn't seen the love of her life for two weeks, because that's exactly what she was.

"She doesn't need a story, she'll be asleep before you finish the first page."

"It's our thing. I always read to her." Callie explained.

"I know. Go on then." The surgeon put her partner's coat away as she spoke. "I've got this presentation to work on anyway."

When she came back down stairs she found Arizona sitting on the couch, on the edge of the cushion, leaning over the coffee table.

Arizona was so distracted by what she was reading that she barely noticed Callie until she was sat behind her. She felt Callie's lips on her neck as her hands were on her stomach. Her eyes closed at the feeling of being in her wife's embrace.

"Are they okay?" The brunette asked.

"Yeah." Arizona reassured, bringing her hands to meet her partner's.

"Nothing happened whilst I was gone?"

"Calliope, you asked me twice a day, every day you were at your parents, if anything had happened with the baby. They're fine. We're fine." She smiled as she went back to reading the file in front of her.

"This presentation is gonna be fine darling."

"I'm so glad you aren't on the board."

"Arizona you just have to tell them about the Africa programme. You're helping kids who otherwise would never see a surgeon like the ones at the hospital. Nobody's gonna be negative about this. Isn't Karev helping with the presentation?" Callie began placing kisses on her lover's neck again when she'd finished speaking.

"He has. I'm just going over it." Except she wasn't anymore. She'd placed the document down on the table and put her hands on Callie's thighs. Her eyes were struggling to focus on the wall in front of her.

"For the record," Callie paused and moved her mouth to the other side of the surgeon's neck. "I was going to get that board seat if Owen Hunt hadn't have found another investor, and if the hospital is ever in need of money in the future I'm gonna help."

"I'd never forgive you." Arizona breathed heavily.

"Yes you would."

The blonde stood up and turned to straddle her wife. She was going to be defiant but when she saw Callie's face, her eyes dark as night and full of all the dirty things Callie was obviously thinking about, she crumbled.

"Yeah probably."

And then they were kissing and Callie's hand was slipping past the waistband of Arizona's sweat pants. A gasp escaped the surgeon's lips and she started to move her hips to her favourite rhythm. Her mouth was now against Callie's neck.

"Do you know what I dreamt about on the plane ride?" The brunette asked.

"What?" Arizona responded as she lifted her head to look her in the eye.

"Our honeymoon." Callie smiled.

"Any particular part?" Her voice was husky from strangled moans.

"The first day, after our walk."

"Oh, of course." She should have known.

They were kissing. They had been ever since they got back from the beach. They'd been walking for about an hour, just holding hands and talking and laughing. Now they were still outside but back on Callie's property. For at least thirty minutes they had just been making out on a very comfortable, double bed sized sun lounger which was next to the pool.

Callie had been on top for a while until Arizona rolled them over. She felt her partner's hands on her back as they moved up to the string of her bikini top. The brunette was about to untie the knot that was keeping it on Arizona's body.

Blue eyes opened wide and she pulled her mouth away from her wife's.

"Calliope." It immediately stopped Callie's hands. "We're..."

Before she could finish her sentence, she was once again on her back with the other woman on top of her, but sat back on her heels. She watched as Callie removed her own bikini top and threw it somewhere behind her. It could have landed in the pool but judging by the smirk on her face, Callie didn't care. Arizona felt her throat go dry and it wasn't due to the St. Barts sunshine. She took in the sight of her lover's chest, golden in the midmorning sun.

Callie lowered herself over her again and whispered ever so sweetly in her ear.

"You know we don't have to do anything you're not comfortable with."

"Right, that's why you're topless right now." She responded before they found themselves kissing again.

"Doesn't mean we have to do anything."

"What if someone sees?"

"Not a fan of getting caught, hey?"

"No." Arizona responded flatly, causing Callie to smile.

"Nobody can see us. I promise."

"Do I want to know how you're so sure?"

"Probably not." The brunette shook her head and then found herself flipped over again with the weight of her partner on top of her.

"My clothes are staying on Calliope." Arizona said before she lowered her mouth to that perfect chest of the other woman.

"Okay." Was all Callie felt the need to say as the surgeon's lips were travelling in her favourite direction, down.
