Honestly…. I have absolutely no words to describe how shitty this chapter was. I have to admit that. Over these past two months I have fallen victim to the Shingeki fandom and I absolutely cannot get enough of it. I had then let time pass on and on while obsessing over maid eren (work of art btw) and totally forgot about updating this thing. I was supposed to post this like weeks ago, but I ended up forgetting about it. I'm sorry ;-;
Pls don't be mad. But I do have to introduce you people to the shingeki fandom, it is orgasmic, at least the fan art is c:
Btw I made an Ao3 account and it's confusing as fuck.
And I also made a tumblr.
And I'm probably also going to be changing my pen name again soon. Just so my friends can't find me in my natural habitat again.
Without further ado
Warning:This chapter is very shitty in many ways than one. Pls don't kill me in my sleep and steal my sanity. Thank you
Hope you enjoy this.. chapter none the less. And you all can spam away on your keyboard and send me hate reviews on my 2 month absence. ;-; And for you merciful people, nice feedback would be nice to dry up my tears ;-;
Sorry for typos and/or mistakes.
.: Two Beginnings :.
The room was a blur to Naruto when his eyes slowly opened from the bright light coming from the door. A small flash of pain shot at his eyes as he groaned and rolled away from the door. The creaking of the door hinges was the only thing that had stopped the blonde from falling back asleep under his sheets which had grown warm over the hours of his slumber.
The blonde sighed when the streaming yellow lights had continued to enter his dark room. He tried to ignore them, to fall back asleep, but the hinges on the door kept creaking, and the light had grown bigger and brighter, bright enough to illuminate his room. There were soft footsteps and shallow breaths mixed in with the shuffling of sheets and Naruto's light ones. It was still currently early morning, a quarter to three, the sky was still as dark as night. The curtains swayed in the air in Naruto's room in front of the balcony door. The tired one heard a soft sigh before there were more footsteps, and soon, the click of the door and its lock. The coldness that had battled the blonde's warmth then melted away and he sighed quietly again, burying his face farther into his soft pillow and curling up under the blankets. This year's summer was much cooler than last years, there were more summer rains as well.
The smell of paint had no longer disturbed Naruto, mainly because it wasn't there anymore. Mikoto had offered a generous can of air freshener to Naruto just a day ago. The blonde went crazy with it and ended up going through half the can just to get rid of the smoky, wooden, hair spray, and paint smell. He then felt a small shift on the bed from the other side, indicating that someone had sat down at the edge of the bed. But the movement left as fast as it came. Naruto didn't mind when he then heard the door hinges creak again and the bright light leaving his room. His room was then darker than black. Naruto's eyelids were shut lightly as he balanced on the line of consciousness. The bed shifted again, more than last time. He felt the blankets leave his body just an inch, letting a cold gust of air run over Naruto's skin. Naruto shivered violently instantly grabbed for the blanket to cover his shoulder. But he didn't need to, the coldness left quickly. He felt many more stronger movements and heard many shuffles of blankets and sheets. He then felt a warm breath crawl against the back of his neck. Naruto moaned and turned his body around, his body now facing the direction of the door. Naruto wasn't alarmed by the arms that wrapped around his waist and pulled him close, closer to warmth. Naruto didn't really seem to realize his arms moving on their own as he grasped the fabric of a shirt. Naruto didn't mind that it was Sasuke sleeping next to him, by the strong scent of pine and Christmas he had known who it was the moment Sasuke had shifted next to him.
He felt the Uchiha nuzzle against his neck and Naruto's muscles relaxed and he was falling off the line of consciousness as sleep overtook him.
But before he fell asleep, he could hear a small whisper of a deep and husky voice. " Does this mean I've won the bet, dobe?"
Naruto's answer was pressing himself further in the other's arms before all Sasuke could hear were gentle snores.
"Sai…? It's me.." Ino sobbed quietly," What am I going to do..?"
"Ino?"
"I don't know what to do anymore…" she let another cascade of tears drip to the floor. She wiped her watery eyes with her sleeves so they could only blur with tears again. "I loved Naruto so much.." She leaned and dropped the rest of her body to the floor, her blond locks tangled and lined the floor. She used her free hand to clutch her shirt, the newly form tears sliding across her face and onto the floor to join the others. There was silence on the other side of the line. Ino didn't know what to expect.
"I can't ever be with him..?" Ino asked herself, forgetting about Sai," I feel so guilty. How could I say things about Sakura like that..? She was my best friend." Ino let her phone fall out of her hands as it slowly landed onto the floor with a quiet thud.
"Ino?" she heard Sai speak, but she ignored it as she sobbed and curled her body into a fetal position onto the floor.
"I love him. So much it hurts, but I'll never see him again…"
Ino's cries and sobs filled the room for moments until she heard Sai's voice again.
"I can help you.." she heard clearly again. Her sobs stopped as she glanced down at her phone and stared at it intently," I can help you see him again, as many times as you want."
Ino reluctantly picked her phone back up again and sat up, continuing to stare down at it.. "What…?"
"You want to see him again, right?" Ino nodded but didn't really realize Sai couldn't see her motion, but she continued to nod her head. "I can arrange that.."
Ino was speechless." H-how..?"
"I know Uchiha Sasuke personally… getting to meet him shouldn't be.. too big of a problem." She heard him say and her tears had begun again. For a split moment, Ino felt at peace, knowing that she can see Naruto again, was all she needed to hear. It might seem idiotic to others because he lived only a thirty minute drive away from the village, but it was so… important to her. "But for a price, I may add." Ino's heart stopped for a second, hoping and praying that what she was expected for next wasn't it.
"What.. price are you asking for?"
Ino heard Sai let out a short breath to smirk," All I'm asking for, is for your hand in marriage, my dear."
Ino's eyes widened," What!? No!"
She heard Sai chuckle lightly on the other side," Oh I'm afraid I can't take no for an answer." Her heart began to beat faster," It'll all be worth it in the end, right? Because it's for Naruto.." the Uzumaki's name rolled off of Sai's tongue and sent shivers up Ino's spine.
Ino's body began to tremble as she drop the phone out of her hand and stood up. She backed away from the phone as if it were poison. She quickly turned around and opened the door. She ran down the stairs and walked into the kitchen and living room. The lights were off, but she knew they were on when Naruto and Kiba left. Her eyes frantically searched the room and she turned her body and head to look for something, anything, anyone. An arm had wrapped around her waist and another around her neck and covered her mouth with a piece of cloth. Ino let out a muffled cry as she kicked her legs around and forced herself not to breathe. She couldn't breathe, because if she did, it was all over for her. New tears formed around already puffed red eyes as she let out one more scream and kicked one more kick before she had accidentally taken one deep breath. The world darkened around her.
"Remember my dear, I don't take no as an answer."
This wasn't tradition, it was kidnapping.
The blond fell limp against the cold floor and was picked up weightlessly over a shoulder.
All of the lights in the house were turned off, a neat handwritten letter was stuck onto the fridge. The quiet sound of a lock echoed throughout the house.
Naruto awoke to the loud vibrations of a phone. The blonde groaned and opened his eyes slowly, glaring at whatever he saw. He sat up slowly and looked around. He was back in the his new room. The balcony door was wide opened, the curtains opened and tied against the doors frame. He stared straight ahead, but no one was standing outside. The sky was still a bit dark, and with the alarm sounding next to him, the blond guessed it to be exactly six a.m. But it was oddly quiet at this time. Usually he would hear the family downstairs already running amuck. Naruto looked over at the phone, and reached over, turning off the alarm. The vibrations seized. The blonde fell back onto bed with a quiet fwump and realized how warm the other side of the bed was. A hint of pine in the sheets as well. Naruto smiled unknowingly and closed his eyes, enjoying the warmth and the scent that belonged to Sasuke. Ever since the two of them had come back home from their little trip to the village, the blonde never slept without the Uchiha at his side. Especially after that dream he had gotten a few nights ago. He had waken up frightened of the reality of the dream. He remembered waking up to Sasuke right next to him, and the sight of the Uchiha sleeping next to him calmed him down greatly. Although last night was the closest he had let Sasuke besides him since the thunderstorm.
The morning after they had driven back, Mikoto was the first one to jump out of the door and come running to the two of them, saying how she was so worried. But deep down Sasuke knew his mother was pretty happy and wanted to know the 'details' of what happened the night before. If there were any, that was. Naruto curled his body and dug himself deeper into the sheets, letting out a content sigh.
A few minutes later, the blonde heard the creaking of the door again followed by soft footsteps. Unlike last night, there was a violent shift on the bed and pushed Naruto from his comfort zone. After a while the movements stopped and there was silence. Naruto continued to have his head buried into the bed, until a small drop of water landed at the side of his neck and trailed down to his chest. The blonde shivered and peaked his eyes up to see Sasuke's face inches away from his. A wild blush spread across Naruto's face as he stared into the approaching face. His neck was still openly visible in between stray blond hairs. Sasuke's hair was dripping wet, his gray t-shirt a bit damp from the droplets of water. Another small drop of water landed on Naruto's neck and face. Sasuke let a small smirk crawl onto his face and dove his nose against the crook of Naruto's neck. The blonde jerked suddenly and tensed under Sasuke. He felt the Uchiha's nose glide across his neck and up to his ear, the blush on his face growing rapidly.
Sasuke stopped at Naruto's ear and stilled. Water dripped down and hit Naruto's neck and slid down his chest and his shirt. Naruto's eyes averted to the Uchiha next to him, before he heard a small intake of breath.
"Good morning." Sasuke greeted, fatigue lingering in his voice. Naruto's body immediately relaxed and he smiled and small smile.
"Good morning."
Sasuke, being satisfied, wrapped his arms around the Uzumaki and rolled over to that Naruto lied on his chest.
It was sudden and Naruto was taken aback by the Uchiha's actions. The blond gasped as he hit a solid chest before everything stilled. Sasuke's wet hair dampened the pillow.
Naruto couldn't quite get comfortable on top of the other's chest, but he calmed when he heard the steady heart beats from underneath. Naruto loosened Sasuke's hold to free his arms and wrap them around the taller male's neck.
Sasuke looked down at a mess of blond hair and smirked again before rolling them both over on their sides instead, which Naruto was a lot more comfortable with.
Naruto didn't know what made him so attracted to Sasuke so quickly. He'd only been living with the Uchiha's for about two weeks and he can already imagine living an everyday life with them peacefully. When it came to Sasuke, he couldn't be happier than to be with him. He couldn't deny that Sasuke was handsome in every single way possible. Nor could he ignore the fact that even though he usually has a cold stance and look, he's pretty kind in the heart. Over the two weeks time Naruto finally realized that even though he had just met this man, he trusted him more than anyone else. More than his parents, relatives, and definitely more than Kiba and Ino, who had forced a selfish act of love upon him.
Though Naruto knew he could never admit it in the near future, he was starting to carry strong feelings for Sasuke. He didn't know whether they were strong feelings for love, trust, friendship, or even sex. Naruto just knew that being with Sasuke always nudged something.
The blond closed his eyes and wrapped his arms tighter around Sasuke's neck. Naruto felt the soft breath against his hair and the little nudges from the other. He noticed Sasuke's grip getting stronger and firmer, like he never wanted to let go. Naruto blushed and his heart picked up pace. He felt so safe and so secure, he could stay like this forever, like they were in their own world. Away from harm, away from intolerable lies, and selfish love.
They both enjoyed the other's company greatly and let the room silence out as they relaxed in each other's hold.
In no time Naruto had fallen back asleep due to the fact he hadn't really gotten out of bed yet.
Sasuke slightly backed away and observed the sleeping blonde with a small smile on his face, just a small one.
Naruto's arm fell from Sasuke's neck and ended up in awkward took the blonde's arm and moved them away from his neck. Afterwards the Uchiha quickly wrapped his arms right back around Naruto again.
Sasuke sighed and nuzzled his nose against the golden locks and closed his eyes. For a few moments he was continuing to fall into the brink of sleep, Naruto still in his arms. His hair began to dry, and he knew it would point in strange directions when he woke up, but he didn't really care when he was holding Naruto like this.
But his phone rang abruptly, waking Naruto up and alerting the Uchiha. The Uzumaki groaned and tried to block the loud and sudden ringing away, wanting more sleep. Sasuke groaned as well and tried to reach over without moving the blond too much. He grabbed his phone and the words 'Mother' blinked on the screen. Sasuke inwardly growled and picked up the call. The Uchiha dropped the phone against his ear and immediately regretted it.
Mikoto's voice filled his hearing and caused him to jerk slightly out of surprise. Naruto chuckled softly and went on with his sleep.
"Sasuke!" Mikoto's voice rang.
Sasuke sighed," Yes?" he pulled the phone away from his ear.
"Are you awake yet?"
"Yes." he replied.
The other side of the line grew quiet for a few seconds before Mikoto's voice was back,"Is Naruto awake?"
Sasuke looked down at the sleeping blond and smirked," No, not yet."
"Oh."
Silence…
Sasuke sighed again and was starting to get annoyed," What did you call for, Mother?"
"Huh?" Mikoto sounded genuinely confused. "Oh, yes!" Sasuke jerked up again." No one is home right now, we're all at the village to get a few things, so look after the house." Sasuke yawned and nodded his head.
"Alright." He replied.
"Oh and by the way," Sasuke raised his eyebrows," Your uncle Madara is coming to get something." Sasuke groaned loudly so that his mother could hear it from the other side. "I know he's a bit intimidating and that you don't like being with him."
"A bit.." Sasuke repeated under his breath.
"But I left a yellow package on the table outside, when he comes by just hand it to him and he'll be on his way, got it?"
"Okay." Sasuke replied," Bye, then." He hung up quickly and threw his phone off to the side, not before silencing it, however. He buried his nose in Naruto's locks again and they enjoyed the rest of the morning like this.
When Sasuke woke up about four hours later, Naruto was gone. Sasuke really did panic however when the blond wasn't there next to him when he woke up. He ran his hands over Naruto's side of the bed and noticed that it was still really warm, meaning that he had just left no longer than seconds ago. Sasuke quickly threw the covers off of him and swung his legs off the bed, standing up. When he ran to the door he had to stop for a few seconds, a rush causing his vision to blur. When he felt better he pushed himself off of the door and looked down the hallways, a flash of blond fell into his line of vision, and his heart rate immediately slowed down.
"Na-"
"Coming!" He heard the blonde say out loud as he walked down the steps. Sasuke raised his eyebrows in confusion. Why did he say that? Who was he talking to? Maybe someone rung the doorbell.
But who could it have been? Sasuke knew his family had the key to the door, and it was only ten in the morning. The raven didn't expect his family to come back anywhere before three in the afternoon.
Was someone visiting? If someone was, he was sure his mother would've informed him of it. Or maybe he wasn't thinking correctly.
Sasuke then remembered something his mother told him this morning.
"...when he comes by just hand it to him and he'll be on his way.."
Then it hit him.
Uncle Madara.
"Fucking great." Sasuke cussed under his breath and ran to catch up with Naruto.
"Naruto!"
He saw the blond open the door a slight bit, creating a crack. Naruto turned around and turned to see Sasuke running down the Uchiha slammed the door shut and grabbed the blond, pushing him against the wall next to the door.
"Sasuke? What?-" Naruto was utterly confused. Sasuke motioned him to stop talking, and the blonde slammed his jaw shut.
Sasuke nodded and backed away from Naruto and open the door again. Sasuke sighed when he saw his uncle standing in front of him then.
"Hello, Sasuke."
Sasuke stared at his relative before greeting his uncle back, not wanting to seem rude," Morning, Uncle Madara." Sasuke walked away from the door for a few brief moments and grabbed the package wrapped in yellow off the glass table pushed against the wall. Sasuke walked back to the door and held the package out to his uncle.
"Ah, so your mother informed you of my visit?" The man took the package out of Sasuke's hand.
Sasuke nodded slightly," Yes, she did."
"Alright, then." His uncle said," I'll be on my way, then."
Sasuke thanked whatever god was out there." Okay, the-."
"Oh." Sasuke stopped," I heard you have yourself a little bride."
Sasuke cursed in his head and tried to hide his despair and utter unhappiness. "Why yes, how did you know in such a short amount of time?"
Naruto, who was behind the door raised his eyebrows and looked over at Sasuke who didn't give him a single glance. But he understood.
"If you didn't choose the Hokage's son, then I'm pretty sure no one would know or care." His uncle said.
Sasuke glared at Madara for a split second before hiding his expressions again. "That's true." He gritted out.
"Oh but don't take my opinion so seriously. I'm sure he must be stunning." Madara continued. "Blond hair and blue eyes, doesn't seem to it under the Japanese category." Naruto's eyebrows furrowed and he glared at the door.
"Well he is full Japanese." Sasuke bit back.
Madara then nodded slightly. "My, my, with both of the sons having men as their wives, the main branch won't have heirs."
"Then the second branch's offsprings will be our new heirs." Sasuke pointed out.
"Ah yes. But they obviously won't be as cunning as the first, will they?," Sasuke was starting to lose his patience."Well, thank you for handing me this." Madara held the package in his hands. "Goodbye, Sasuke."
"Bye." The younger Uchiha bid and watched his uncle turn and walk away before slamming the door shut.
"I hate that piece of shit." Sasuke growled out. Naruto propped himself away from the wall and followed Sasuke to the kitchen.
"So, that was your uncle?" Naruto asked, starting a conversation.
Sasuke nodded as they entered the kitchen,"Yes, Uncle Madara, the one I most definitely do not like."
Naruto raised his eyebrows," Oh. Why not?"
"He's intimidating."
Naruto looked at Sasuke before chuckling," Well I think all Uchiha's are intimidating." Sasuke stopped in his steps and looked back down at Naruto who was smiling at him. The Uchiha rolled his eyes and grabbed a cold dish off the table.
"How do I intimidate you?" Sasuke asked out of curiosity.
Naruto took a seat at the table and pondered," Well, when I first met you, you didn't come across as friendly or social."
"So I'm unfriendly and antisocial now?" Sasuke placed the food inside of the microwave.
"Well, isn't that what being intimidating means?"
Sasuke rolled his eyes again and chuckled.
