The sock headed teen stood there staring down the red motorcycle as the tall ginger walked over.
"Double D, it's just like Emma's," the ginger says to the smaller teen beside him.
"I know, but I'm still scared," the smaller teen says as his companion hands him a helmet.
"I'll be with you," the taller teen says smiling down at the frightened teen.
Edd smiles up at Kevin as he watches him get on. Edd's heart starts to pound louder in his chest as he sat behind the taller teen.
"Hold on tight," Kevin says reassuringly before starting the engine.
Edd wraps his small arms around Kevin's torso. He could feel his abs under the sweater that Kevin was wearing. Edd blushes at his thought and loosens his grip.
"I wouldn't do that if I was you," the taller teen yells over the noise of the bike.
Edd nods against Kevin's back and wraps his arms tighter around his friend. Kevin drove down the road with Edd, enjoying the company he provided. The smaller teen was too scared to ask where they were going, but he was slightly starting to enjoy the thrill of the ride.
"We're almost there!" Kevin yells over the roar of the engine.
Edd nods and pulls slightly away to look around him. The cars, trees and people flew past him in a blur the faster Kevin drove. Edd smiled a small smile, remembering the time when Emma first got her bike.
Edd's Memory (Edd's POV)
'Come on Eddward,' I heard Emma call from downstairs.
'I'm coming,' I called back, grabbing my beanie.
I ran downstairs and saw Emma waiting for me. She had a big smile on her pale face. She had just turned sixteen about three weeks before, so she'd been working on her license.
'Come on, it's outside,' she said, a bigger smile spreading across her face.
'What's outside?' I asked in confusion, following her outside.
When we reached the outside, I saw something that sent fear up my spine. She looked so happy to finally have something that would give her the freedom she desired.
'It looks wonderful Emma,' I said smiling at her.
'It does, doesn't it, Edd?' she asked before handing me a spare helmet, 'Put that on.'
I took the helmet before looking at her. She smiled and pulled a purple helmet on. She strapped it around her head than got on the bike.
'Come on,' she said, looking at me, 'get on behind me.'
I stared at her like she was crazy. I backed up a bit before she turned and looked at me in question.
'Eddward, trust me,' she said smiling, holding a hand out to me.
I stared at it, knowing that she has done so much for me. I nodded and timidly grabbed her hand. She held my hand tightly in hers, helping me on.
'Hold on tightly to me,' she said before starting the bike and heading down the road.
Edd smile grew when Kevin came to a stop at a red light and glances back at him.
"You alright, Dork?" the ginger haired teen asks over the sound of the bike, smiling.
"Yes, Kevin, I am," the sock-head says loudly over the bike as well, smiling back.
