Vanessa dies in this chapter because I'm such a lazy-ass to update this story anymore lol. Sorry guys, I just finished my midterm last Thursday and watched the finale of TO and TVD. No spoilers in case anyone hasn't seen it yet but I bet Kol is quite pissed off since he missed the 'Come Back from The Dead' party with his family O_o
Klanessa ahead, sorry if you don't like it. But it needed to be done and it'll be explained later on.
Chapter 24: Homecoming
"Aye- let's say that Mikael followed Elena in here," Stefan said and I nodded.
"He wanted to use her as bait. And then you vervained him," I said.
"No! We vervained him. This guy is an Original. Make it realistic," Damon said.
"Okay. Fine. We vervained him. And in the process discovered that he had a dagger," Stefan said.
"Which he planned to use on Rebekah. But instead…" Elena trailed off.
"You drove it through his heart," I finished. "But what happens when he asks to see his body?"
"Good point!" Damon said before turning to Stefan. "You my brother have been compelled to do what Klaus says. So the idea is to lure him back here and kill him. Last thing we need is you getting tripped up and tongue-tied."
"Well, don't look at me I am just in charge of getting him back here," Stefan said coolly.
"Klaus isn't stupid. If we say Mikael's dead, he'd want to see the body," I said, crossing my arms.
"Then I shall be dead," Mikael said and we all looked at him.
"What if he wants to see you in person?" Elena questioned.
"Well that means our plan is working. Klaus will absolutely want to see my body. You lure him here and I will kill him," Mikael said.
"With what? Those daggers won't work on him," Stefan said.
"Well, I´m in possession of a stake fashioned from the wood of the ancient white oak tree," Mikael said and I raised an eyebrow.
"I thought you burned it down?" I asked and he smiled. There was always something off about Originals and their smiles.
"Where is it?" Damon asked.
"Not here. The knowing of its location is my insurance policy," Mikael said and I rolled my eyes.
"Against what?" I asked.
"You leaving this in my heart. You see, a vampire can´t dagger an original without dying. So, it falls to you," he said, handing the dagger to Elena.
"Y-you want me to actually dagger you?" Elena stammered, a little bit surprised.
"Come on now, it's not like you haven't done it before," I said snidely, before I could stop myself.
"Portland is fantastic. Once you get over all the whiny music and healthy looking people it is literally a breeding ground for werewolves," Klaus said over the phone. I refrained myself from snorting at his words and Damon sent me a look.
"Your father is dead," Stefan said as rehearsed.
"What did you say to me?" Klaus asked quickly.
"Oh, my mistake. Not your actual father and not dead. Mikael. Daggered. What do you want me to do with the body?" Stefan asked.
"Well, first I want you to explain to me exactly what happened," Klaus demanded and Stefan launched into the made up story that in a way, wasn't really a lie. "I wanna see him. I want to see his rotting body for myself," Klaus spat out venomously.
"Well, he's here. Come by whenever," Stefan said casually.
"If you are lying to me Stefan, your compulsion will expose you. So, answer with your life. Is what you are saying the truth?" Klaus asked, compelling Stefan.
"It's true. I saw it with my own eyes," Stefan said.
"I wanna talk to Rebekah," Klaus said.
"That's not a problem. She's right here," Stefan said, passing Rebekah the phone.
"Hello Nik," Rebekah said.
"Rebekah, love. What´s this I hear about Mikael´s tragic run in with the dagger?" Elena nodded encouragingly at Rebekah, who finally answered.
"It's true. He's finally out of our lives for good...I miss you. I´m miserable here," she said.
"I'll be home soon," Klaus said.
"Good. I'll see you then, brother," Rebekah said, hanging up. "He bought it. He's coming home."
"Now, was that easy or what?" Damon asked.
"Let's just get this over with," Elena said with a sigh, pulling out the dagger from Mikael's heart.
I stopped in my tracks as Mikael turned around, and decided to ignore him. But he wasn't going to do the same.
"Vanessa, right?" I froze as soon as he mentioned my name and turned around slowly. I tried not to look so alarmed, but he had already taken notice of my tense posture.
"Yes," I said.
"It's nice to meet you," he said and I forced a smile. "I heard so much about you," he said and I maintained my smile.
"Well I'm not surprised. Being a doppelganger does make me famous," I said wryly and he chuckled. I tensed even further just by the way his eyes gleamed as he chuckled.
"I heard you were quite close with my son," he said and the fake smile from my face dropped instantly. "And judging by your reaction, the rumors seemed to be true," he added with a smirk. I laughed trying to cover my anxiety, as I made my way to Mikael.
"I don't know who would spread rumors like that," I said calmly, as I looked at him in the eye. Come on, Vanessa, lying was like breathing to you. "But I'm not that close with your son. I'm only friends with Bekah," I said and Mikael gave me a smile that told me he already knew. So what if he knew about me and Elijah? Perhaps after killing Klaus, Mikael would undagger Elijah and the rest of the Original siblings. But would it actually be that easy?
"Of course," he said and I took a deep breath and smiled at the Original vampire.
"Excuse me then, I have to see her," I said and he nodded. I released a sigh of relief as I climbed up the stairs, putting some distance between me and the vampire hunter.
"Yo," Stefan said uncharacteristically and I rolled my eyes. Stefan wasn't much of a jerk than he was then when he first turned off his humanity. And honestly, I rather enjoyed this casual Stefan compared to the always brooding Stefan. "Which one?" he asked, holding up three ties.
"Don't you have better ties?" I asked him distastefully and his jaw dropped in disbelief.
"What's wrong with them?" He asked defensively and I laughed, as I made my way to Rebekah's room.
"Hey," I said, opening the door silently.
"Hi," she replied, forcing a smile.
"Have you met your father?" I asked her and she turned to look at me.
"Yeah," she said, shrugging.
"Did you tell him about me and Elijah?" I asked, and she frowned.
"He knew?" she asked and I shrugged.
"Yeah, he-uh-he asked me about it. How did he know?" I asked and Rebekah pursed her lips.
"It's not like it's gonna be a problem," she said dismissively. "Come on, let me do your hair!" she said with a smile. I could see the pain in her eyes, the way she tried to distract herself from thinking that tonight…would be her brother's demise.
"I just thought I was just going to curl it," I said as she combed my hair.
"You have long hair, what's the use of having long hair if you don't style it," she told me and I chuckled. "I cut my hair back in the 20's. It was the trend back then," she said with a sigh.
"I think you'll look prettier with longer hair," I said and she smirked.
"Oh I know that, sweetheart," she said proudly. "And I know exactly what to do with your hair," she said, picking up a part of my hair and started braiding them. We chatted about silly things, trying to stray as far away from the subject of tonight's main event; killing Klaus. But we girls, we can't keep our mouth shut from talking about this hot topic. It was in our nature.
"I think…when he-when my father killed him, do you think…what do you think will happen?" she asked with difficulty. I placed my hand on hers and squeezed it gently.
"You'll grief, but then you'll realize one thing. You're free. Klaus will no longer control your life. You're free to do as you like, Bekah. You don't have to run anymore," I told her softly.
"Freedom…that sounds good," she breathes and exhaled loudly as she wiped the tears.
"It's okay, cry now. Don't want to ruin your makeup later," I said with a smile and she managed a laugh. "What are you going to do with your hair?" I asked, changing the subject.
"I supposed I just curl it. There's not much to do," she said distastefully and I grinned. I remembered cutting my hair short when I was fourteen, I had no idea why I did it. But I had whined to Jenna and mother, and practically everyone about my hair not getting any longer. So now, I truly treasured my long, beautiful, golden locks. Rebekah had put on the red dress, and I had to say, she looked really pretty. She dismissed my compliments, as if she didn't believe me and I wonder if her confidence and bitchy attitude was all just a pretense.
"Hi," Elena said awkwardly as she stepped into the room. I narrowed my eyes at her, feeling that she was up to something. "Can I talk to Rebekah for a sec?" she asked and I turned to Rebekah, almost protectively.
"Sure," she said after a while, not really looking at Elena. "Let me finish your hair," Rebekah said, and I sat down on the chair reluctantly. She reached out for a pin and clipped my hair securely, and for a while it seemed like we were just ignoring Elena. I glanced at Elena through the mirror who was watching us, and tried to figure out what was going on. "There, all done," Rebekah said with a smile and I smiled back at her.
"Thanks," I said sincerely and she laughed.
"It's nothing, really," she waved her hand dismissively before finally acknowledging Elena. "What else do you need?" she asked. I trained my eyes on Elena as I walked towards the door and she just nodded at me.
"ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?" I yelled at Damon, as I stared in horror at Rebekah's daggered corpse.
"Vanessa, it had to be done. Rebekah was never gonna be completely on our side," Elena said as she tried to reason with me.
"Why are you so worked up? Just because you played Barbie with her doesn't make her your best friend now," Damon said sarcastically but I was too angry to retort back at his comment.
"You know what Elena? You're worse than Katherine. At least she doesn't pretend to be nice!" I growled and turned on my heels when Damon flashed in front of me. "What?!" I snapped.
"We need this plan to work, okay?" he asked and I rolled my eyes. "So I need you, not to mess this up-"
"Oh hell no!" I pushed Damon roughly and tried not to run my hand through my hair and ruining Rebekah's handiwork. "Do you remember when you dagger Elijah without telling me?" I asked and Damon rolled his eyes.
"Yes, your point is…?"
"You just did it again! You make it seem like I can't be trusted!" I shouted and Damon shook his head.
"No, I'm serious! I need you for this plan to work. Klaus is going to ask you a few things and you can't screw up!" Damon said.
"I'm not going to screw things up!" I yelled and he gave me a look.
"Remember Chicago? He knew you were you all along. He knows when you're lying," he said.
"So what, you're going to snap my neck?" I hissed and stepped back when I saw the look in his eyes. They were actually going to snap my neck! "DON'T YOU DARE!"
I turned around just in time to disarm Elena who was about to inject me with vervain and I hissed at her, fangs out. The look on her stupid doe brown eyes showed fear, and I took pleasure in it. I pushed her away and grabbed Damon's hands from snapping my neck and twisted it.
"Klaus is going to be more suspicious if I'm not there. Trust me," I said, releasing Damon. "But wait, you don't trust me, do you?" I said mockingly and scoffed as I stormed out of the house. I headed to the house angrily, feeling very betrayed. After slipping the lavender dress on, I fixed my hair and makeup before strapping on the silver heels that Rebekah and I spent hours looking for it. I took one last look in the mirror and felt my heart swelled with pride. Rebekah surely knew what to do, I seriously never felt so beautiful before. The hairstyle looked very old and classy, perhaps a style when she was living in the Renaissance era.
Caroline called and I asked her to pick me up, not wanting to ride with Elena. "How the hell did the gym get flooded?" I asked as soon as I got into her car.
"I don't know! This is a disast-oh my god! Why are you so beautiful? How did you do your hair? And you bought that dress without me! How could you!" Caroline suddenly started to babble and I laughed. This reminded me of the past, where everything was normal.
"Rebekah did it," I said with a smile before it dropped instantly, remembering where Rebekah was now. This was her first dance, and I did intend to make her the Homecoming Queen. That would make her very happy although it may seem ridiculously trivial. I let out a yelp when Caroline suddenly stopped the car. If it wasn't my superhuman reflex, I might as well have hit my head.
"You know I'm kind of like sick of how everyone likes Rebekah. First Tyler, and then Matt and now you!" she glared at me and I rolled my eyes before laughing at how childish she sounded.
"Elena doesn't like her that much. Rebekah's daggered," I said and Caroline blinked her eyes.
"Oh my god, are you serious?" she asked, lowering her voice.
"You might not like her Caroline, but you might as well pity her. She helped with this plan, she had already got her hair and makeup done, and this was her first dance and now she's daggered. Elena literally stabbed her in the back," I ranted and Caroline pursed her lips before she started to drive again. "Have you realized that Elena's changing?" I asked her and she glanced at me.
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"I don't know. Maybe it's just me," I shrugged.
"Have you ever thought that maybe it's you that changed?" she asked and I burst out laughing.
"Caroline, if you've just noticed that I'm not the same person as I was back then, you're a terrible friend," I said and she grinned. "You've changed too. But you know, you're still annoying," I said and she glared at me playfully.
"That's my job," she said, laughing. She parked the car and I heard a band playing and looked at her quizzically.
"Is that a band?" I asked and Caroline quickly got out of the car and I followed suit. We met up with Bonnie as we walked to the mansion. Yep, it was a band.
"How did he plan a better party than me so fast?" Caroline asked.
"Who are all these people?" Bonnie asked and I scanned the crowd and saw many unfamiliar faces.
"I don't know," I said.
"This is weird! Where's Tyler?" Caroline grumbled before storming off to find her boyfriend.
"Well, just enjoy the party," I muttered to Bonnie and made my way to find some drinks. Damon was right, I thought as I grabbed a beer. Klaus will know when I'm lying. I was always too nervous around him. And jumpy. I needed to loosen up.
"Hello, sweetheart," Klaus's deep, accented voice sounded in my ears and I turned around. He straightened up with a big smile on his face, showing his dimples that I really adored. Okay, I wasn't falling for Klaus, that would be insane, but I just thought it was really cute. You'd agree, right? This must be the alcohol. Gosh.
"Hello, love," I replied back with what I'd consider a flirty grin and he tilted his head to the side, amused.
"You are drunk," he stated, the amusement in his voice hadn't faded and I laughed.
"No, I'm not," I said, giggling. Okay Vanessa, you're drunk, go home. Does this count as flirting? I really hope not. I didn't want him to get any ideas although I'd probably wouldn't mind… "Just a little," I said and looked around, trying to spot Damon or Elena.
"And why are you drinking so much?" he asked. Klaus must have known or at least suspected that we had something under our sleeves.
"Just got into a fight with Elena," I said and bit my tongue. I need to think before I speak, I thought but I knew I shouldn't. Because when I did that, Klaus can somehow know if I was lying. I just needed to be natural.
"I wouldn't be surprised," he said and I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Why is that?" I asked and he shrugged.
"You two are just too different," he said.
"She's just really annoying, you know?" I blurted out again and shook my head, not because of what I said, but because I was just so tired by Elena's attitude. "She thinks the world revolves around her, she thinks my world revolves around her," I scoffed and gulped down the beer, finishing it. Based on his body language, I knew he was listening, although he hadn't put his guard down yet.
"And just now, your dad tried to kill her and again, the world revolves around Elena Gilbert without a missing a beat," I said, taking the beer in Klaus's hands and took a sip.
"Do you feel neglected?" he asked, surprising me. I looked at him, reminded by all those years trying to be better than Elena, trying to get out of her shadows, begging for mum's attention when she was too busy playing with Elena. From babies till I finally died.
"I've always felt like that," I said bitterly. There was something in his eyes, it wasn't pity but it was more of an understanding. I felt bad. Based on Elijah and Rebekah's stories, I knew Mikael had mistreated Klaus. And now I'm helping them kill Klaus. Why am I feeling bad for him? Why now?
It was silence for a moment, until Klaus decided to change the subject. "Have you seen Rebekah?"
"She's not here yet? She's supposed to come with Matt," I told him worriedly. Yep, my skill in lying had returned. "Rebekah helped with my hair," I added, before looking down to hide my suddenly reddened cheeks. Why had I mention it?
"Yeah, I noticed that," he said and I calmed myself before looking at him. He gave me a small smile, before bringing his hand to the side of my head, tracing Rebekah's handiwork gently. "You look beautiful," he told me and I held his gaze, seeing nothing but sincerity and fought the blood that wanted to rise to my face.
"Thanks," I mumbled, sipping the beer in my hand before placing it down on the table. "Come on," I said, taking his hand after making up my mind, and led him to the dance floor.
"Oh sweetheart, I don't dance!" he said with a laugh and I rolled my eyes, knowing damn well he was lying.
"Come on, show me some moves from the 20's!" I exclaimed, trying to work through my hazy mind. Drunk or not, I still need to think clearly. I looked around seeming absentmindedly when in fact I was watching my surrounding like a hawk, making sure there was no one else here.
"Who are those people?" I asked at the unfamiliar faces.
"My hybrids," he said and I made an impressed face.
"Your army," I teased and he wanted to say something but didn't know what to say, so he just laughed. Perhaps he thought I was mocking him.
"My army," he agreed. He spun me around suddenly and pulled me to him, his hot breath against my ear. "Are you trying to distract me, love?" he asked. I spun around, releasing myself from his lock and gave him a smirk.
"If I wanted to distract you, I would've done something better than this," I told him.
"Hmm mm, like what?" he asked suggestively.
"I don't know, kiss you or something," I said, trying to remain calm. I smirked as I pulled his collared shirt down, bringing his ear to my lips. I kept a hand on the other side of his face to keep him close and mumbled to his ear. "Be careful."
"What are you lots up to?" he asked softly, and there was no anger at all in his muffled voice. I pulled away and angled my head to the left, my lips were against his cheek, the light scruff on his face against my cheek didn't bother me at all.
"Mikael's here, he got the stake." Klaus's back visibly tensed as soon as he said that and I ran a hand over his back, soothing it. He pulled away and pressed his forehead against me, and I could see there was a tiny spark of fear in his eyes.
"Are you distracting me?" He asked and I traced a letter X on his chest. No. "So why are you telling me this?" he asked and I refrained myself from rolling my eyes.
"Does it matter?" I asked and he looked at me, trying to get a read on what's on my mind. He closed his eyes as he relaxed, and when he opened it again, it was glistening. He took me by surprised when he suddenly leaned in and closed the distance between us, kissing me. I would blame the alcohol for my part in kissing him back, but I supposed he was just a great kisser and that kind of kiss would be a sin if you didn't return it back. When Klaus pulled away however, his breathing was heavy and so was I, but when he looked at me again he gave me a look that said he was sorry.
I was just chilling, drinking the beer when I saw an unfamiliar face, no doubt a hybrid, walking towards me. She had a determined face and I knew something was wrong. Turning around casually, I found out I had been cornered by another two male hybrids.
"Can I help you?" I asked with a fake polite smile. I saw the female hybrid from the corner of my eyes made a move to attack and I spun around, swinging the beer bottle hard across her head. Another hybrid yanked my hair before wrapping his thick, muscular arm around me and I struggled before finally stabbing his side a few times with the now sharp bottle neck and he let me go. Dodging past another hybrid, I flashed out of the house quickly but was stopped by the female hybrid. If they were vampires, I might have the chance to fight them but they were hybrids which meant they were probably stronger.
She slammed my head against the wall before dragging me to a table and slammed my head against a vase. Mrs. Lockwood gonna freak out, I thought before picking up a piece of the antique China vase to use as a weapon. The male hybrid from just now snatched it and jammed it into my neck. Gasping and gurgling in my own blood, he took it as his advantage and dragged me by my hair out of the house.
"Come out and face me, Niklaus. Or she dies." I heard Mikael's voice from a distance. It took me a while to realize that the 'she' wasn't me, but Elena.
"Go ahead. Kill her," Klaus said.
"No, Klaus. He'll do it," Elena said, and started to panic. Was I stupid enough to think Mikael won't turn his back on us? Of course not. I knew he would. But I'd never thought Elena and I would be involved. Then I realized one thing. This was a part of the plan. Because that wasn't Elena. If it was Elena, her heart would have been hammering in her chest like mine was.
But I was certainly not a part of the plan.
"If she dies, this lot will be last of your abominations," Mikael said again.
"I don't need them. I just need to be rid of you," Klaus said, the hatred in his voice couldn't be dismissed.
"To what end, Niklaus? So you can live forever, with no one at your side? Nobody cares about you anymore, boy! What do you have other than those whose loyalty you forced? No one. No one," Mikael spat out.
"I'm calling your bluff, father. Kill her," Klaus said calmly. Perhaps he also knew that this was a plan. That 'Elena' might have had vampire blood in her system so she would heal if Mikael decided to kill her.
"Come outside and face me, you little coward. And I won't have to."
"My whole life you've underestimated me. If you kill her you lose your leverage. So go ahead. Go on. Kill her. Come on, old man. Kill her. KILL HER!" Klaus screamed, and a tear fell down his cheek.
"Your impulse, Niklaus. It has and will forever be the one thing that keeps you from truly being great," he said before stabbing Elena/Katherine and she fell down. "And you're wrong, boy. I do have one more leverage," Mikael said smugly and the hybrid dragged me to them before pushing me to Mikael who yanked my hair roughly. There was no way this was actually a part of the plan. I looked up at Klaus pleadingly, as his forehead wrinkled in confusion. I was a vampire, I had no use to him. But apparently, that wasn't what Mikael was thinking.
"Are you going to let me kill her too?" Mikael asked him tauntingly. "Then no one would truly care about you anymore. How does it feel to have someone you care for being ripped from you?"
"This is a misunderstanding," I said hurriedly. Where would Mikael get the idea that Klaus and I are together? I thought he might see our little kiss but then it hit me, the son that he had talked about earlier this day wasn't Elijah, but Klaus. But this really was a misunderstanding. And Klaus would just let me die now.
Klaus laughed, feeling like he had won. "She means nothing to me, father. This time you're wrong!"
"Perhaps," Mikael replied rather calmly. "But I wouldn't miss a chance to make you relive your nightmare again right before you die. Do you still call for her in your sleep? Can you still hear her scream?" I let out a sharp gasp when Mikael stabbed me in the back and twisted the dagger before slowly dragging it across my skin. I whimpered in pain, trying to remain calm. "Wasn't it just like this, Niklaus? Her whimper, her cries, her eyes!" he hissed and yanked my hair futher down, forcing me to look up at Klaus. My eyes were blurry but I could never forget the pain expression on his face.
"Her eyes begging you to save her, her lips calling your names softly like a prayer, but you were too much of a coward to actually save her. You were too scared of your own father like a little weak boy you really are!" A restrain moan of pain escaped my lips when Mikael suddenly pushed his hand into my back, grabbing a hold of my heart.
"Klaus, Klaus, please! Please!" I said in terror and cried out in pain when he twisted my heart.
"Let her go," Klaus said softly, surprising me. His voice was strained with pain but there was an edge of danger in it. . I felt Mikael smirked from behind me and to my relief he released his grip on my heart. My eyes widened when I saw Damon sneaking behind him and I didn't know what came over me. I could've just let Damon do the job, and everything would be over, but I had already made up my mind when I warned Klaus of the plan.
"Behind you!" I rasped and Klaus turned around to dodge from the stake, and Damon missed his heart.
"Katherine," Mikael said, when 'Elena' rose from the dead. She smirked before throwing grenades at the bunch of hybrids behind us and I used it as a distraction to get away. I slammed my head against Mikael and twirled around, wrapping my arm around him. Kicking him at the back of the thigh, he groaned and my eyes looked up, meeting Klaus. There was no hesitation when I pushed Mikael to the ground as hard as I could, and watched as Klaus staked Mikael with his own weapon. Mikael started screaming as the flame erupted from the stake, burning his body before he finally died.
"What the hell did you do?!" Damon yelled and at first I thought it was directed to me, but turned out, it was for Stefan.
"He's earned his freedom," Klaus answered, before walking to Stefan. "Thank you my friend. You no longer have to do as I say. You're free," Klaus compelled Stefan and I felt a tug in my heart as I watched how relief Stefan was. Klaus then approached me, looking down at the remains of his father.
"I supposed it wasn't part of the plan?" he asked and I laughed dryly.
"It wasn't," I said. "You saved me," I stated it like a statement but honestly it was more of a question.
"You still haven't answered my question. Why did you help me?" he asked, changing the topic. I managed a smile as I tucked a strand of my hair, feeling a little frustrated that the beautiful hairdo had been ruined.
"I don't know, maybe I'm already attached to you," I said with a laugh and he looked at me in wonder. "You owe me," I added and he laughed softly, and nodded.
"I supposed so," he said. "He's dead now. I can reunite my family again," he said pointedly and I rolled my eyes.
"Well, do it somewhere else. If you think you're doing me a favor by undaggering Elijah, you're wrong. I don't want him here," I said and made a move to leave.
"Vanessa," Klaus called me and I turned around. "Thank you," he said genuinely and I found myself smiling.
"No problem, love," I replied, before making my way to the Salvatore house. As expected, Damon was in rage but when I arrived at the living room, I saw Elena holding Damon's face intimately, trying to calm him down.
"Don't get so chummy in front of me," I scowled and she turned around immediately, guilt seemed apparent in her eyes. I rushed forward, pushing Damon against the wall and punched him in the face. "Was that a part of the plan? Was it?" I asked him and he pushed me lightly.
"Damn it! He almost killed me! I could've died!" I yelled angrily and he turned around, looking at me indifferently.
"Keyword is almost. You're not dead," he said and I growled but didn't attack him.
"What happened?" Elena asked and I glared at her.
"Oh, he didn't tell you?" I asked her snidely. "Mikael wanted to kill me, and I've no idea why! I'm pretty sure you already knew about it because you just carried on with the plan, while Mikael was second away from ripping my heart out!" Damon shook his head and looked at me.
"Klaus needs to die," he said. "The plan has to work. But it didn't!" he breathed heavily, containing his anger when his phone rang.
"Not interested in the play by play of our failure right now, Katherine," he said.
"I'm just calling to say goodbye. I don't know what to tell you. You had a good plan Damon. And that's high praise coming from me," Katherine told.
"That's not very comforting at the moment. You're going back into hiding?" Damon asked.
"At least my life is not boring. Goodbye, Damon," she sounded like she would miss him.
"Take care of yourself, Katherine," Damon said, before hanging up.
"You're not going to go with her?" I asked Damon and he looked at me questioningly. "You tried to kill him. He'll come after you," I said and smirked. And I hope he does.
Sooooo do you like it? I really hope it satisfied you all. The part from Klaus and Vanessa interaction to the end was what kept me late from updating. I needed it to be perfect and fit the story.
Okay, so a question. Can someone tell me the line between Rated T and M? Because I'm not sure if I want to cross the line, so just tell me how far the content in Rated T can go. My English is terrible lol but I hope you can understand my question and can reply this. This is really important for the story because oh well, our hottie Mikaelson is coming very soon. ;)
