Previously, in "I'll Still Be Here", Josie performs a spell for Hayley and Jackson then reunites with Oliver, Jackson's brother.
Chapter 21
"Have you given any more thought to where you want to have the wedding?" Matt asked Tyler as the two of them walked around Mystic Falls. They'd gotten up early that morning so that they didn't wake up a sleeping April and Meghan, leaving the house for an early morning jog in the woods.
"I haven't. We're still working out the details of everything else concerning the wedding but where," Tyler replied.
Matt nodded. "Maybe you could have it at the Lockwood mansion?"
"I thought about it, but I don't know if I should," Tyler said. "My mom is still kind of upset about me breaking the furniture when Meghan and I were intimate. I know that it was an accident, but you know my mom. She doesn't let sleeping dogs lie, figuratively speaking."
"Then April and I would be honored if you had it at the Young ranch," Matt said.
Tyler's face lit up with a smile. "Really?" he asked.
"Of course, man. You're like a brother to me, and given that you did once 'date' my sister, I know April would be crazy out of her mind if I didn't at least offer a back-up plan," Matt replied.
Tyler nodded. "In that case, I accept your offer. The wedding will be held at the Young ranch."
"I knew you would," Matt said. "I'll let April know so that we can make the preparations. You and Meghan deserve nothing but the best."
Tyler smiled before he and Matt embraced one another in a tight hug. "Thanks, Donovan."
"Anytime, Lockwood," Matt said with a teary smile. For a while, there was silence as the two young men hugged each other. Then, they stepped back from the hug and another silence before Matt said, "I think we'd better finish our run. Don't forget, I've got to tell April what we've discussed."
Tyler nodded. "You're right, and I've got to tell Meghan as well. She's going to be excited when I tell her where the wedding is going to be held. She's going to be even more excited when I tell her that it was your idea. Well, it was both my idea and your idea, but the suggestion was yours."
Later…
Meghan was resting in bed with one hand resting protectively over her stomach when a pair of arms wrapped around her from behind. "Mm," she murmured, opening her eyes then turning her head to see her fiance. "Hello there."
"Hello yourself," he said with a grin, kissing the corner of her lips. "Did you sleep good?"
Meghan smiled at him. "Yes, I did." She returned his kiss. "Did you and Matt have a good run?"
"Absolutely," Tyler said. "We talked about a few things. He even suggested that we have the wedding at the Young ranch."
"That sounds like a great idea," Meghan said. "I was wondering about that. I know your mother would rather shoot me than allow us to have the wedding at the Lockwood mansion, given how we practically destroyed the furniture the last time we were intimate."
"Then it's settled. We'll marry at the Young ranch and honeymoon at any B&B that's close enough to Mystic Falls," Tyler said.
Meghan smiled at him. "That's a great idea. I love it." She kissed him. "I love you just as much."
Tyler returned her kiss and climbed on top of her. "In that case, why don't we have some fun in the shower? I need to clean up and I can pleasure my bride-to-be at the same time."
"That sounds like an even greater idea," she said, squealing as he tosses her over his shoulder and carried her upstairs.
Tyler wasted no time in getting them to the bathroom, where, after shutting the door behind them, set her down and made short work of their clothes before getting the shower started. Once he was sure the temperature was right, he and Meghan stepped into the shower, where Tyler gently pushed his bride-to-be against the tile and kissed her passionately, running his hands up and down her body, gently caressing her pregnant belly.
Meghan let out a soft moan against his lips as she returned the kiss, doing the same to him. She then moved her hands down to his member, caressing it the same way he was caressing her belly, earning her a growl from him. "Sneaky, sneaky, my love."
Giggling, Meghan replied, "You bring out the bad girl in me, Tyler Lockwood, and I don't hesitate to show you just how much you bring out."
"Well, in that case…" he replied, turning her away from him and gently pushing himself up into the cheeks of her ass. Tyler continued to remain gentle as he thrust in and out of her at a soft, steady pace.
Meghan felt what he was doing and panted as she let out another moan, trembling under him. "Oh, yes, Tyler, right there. That's the spot. Mm, keep going."
Tyler smirked. "As my lady commands." That being said, he continued his pace, feeling the heat coming off her and enjoying every minute of it.
After their steamy shower, Tyler carries Meghan back to their bedroom and places her onto the bed then goes to grab one of the terry-cloth bath towels to dry her off, making sure to be careful of her pregnant stomach. Meghan watched Tyler as he gently dried her off, reaching her hand out and running her fingers through his wet hair, shivering slightly at the feeling of the moist strands against her skin. "I love you, Tyler. More than anything."
"I love you too, Meghan," he replied. "I can't wait to marry you."
"The feeling is mutual, I assure you," Meghan said. "Becoming your wife has been a dream of mine since we met."
"The homecoming dance. You were dancing with Amber, and I was sitting in a far corner," Meghan said, a soft smile forming on her face.
Tyler nodded. "Yes, and when I saw you by your lonesome, I excused myself from Amber and went over to ask you to dance."
"Yes, and I remember blushing when you did that, thinking that it was a joke that someone was playing on me," Meghan said. "I was very shy back then, don't forget."
"But I managed to help you get over your shyness, didn't I?" Tyler had a smile on his face as he said that.
"Yes. Yes, you did. And now look at us," Meghan said, returning his smile.
"Yeah, look at us," Tyler said. "We're engaged to be married and we have another baby on the way." He kissed her belly. "I couldn't ask for better."
Meghan giggled. "Neither could I."
"Let's not wait to get married. Let's elope then have the ceremony for Matt & April as a surprise but the reception for all of us," Tyler suggested.
"Yeah? I think that's a splendid idea. I don't know why I didn't think of it first," Meghan said.
Tyler laughed. "You probably had other things on your mind."
"Yeah, probably," Meghan said. "This pregnancy has been messing with my head and making it impossible to think of anything else."
"Let's call Matt and April and invite them on the trip with us," Tyler said, helping her up. The couple walk over to where Tyler's cell phone lay on the dresser, hooked up to the charger. Meghan stood behind her fiance and watched as he went through his contacts then found Matt's name before pressing "Call" and bringing the phone up to his ear.
Matt heard his phone ring and when he saw Tyler's name on the screen, he immediately answered. "Hey, man. We were just talking about you and the phone rang."
"Really? Well, it's a good thing I called," his friend replied on the other end. "Listen, Meghan and I were talking just now, and we decided to elope. Also, we'd like to invite you and April to come along on our trip."
"It's funny you should mention that," Matt said. "April and I were thinking of taking a trip out of town, and this will be great opportunity. So, when did you decide on eloping?"
"A few minutes ago, actually," Tyler said. "And we couldn't think of anyone else we'd rather take along than you two."
"Then it's settled. We'll see you first thing in the morning," Matt said before hanging up and looking at April when she gave him a confused but hopeful look. "They're eloping."
April blinked. "Eloping? When did they decide that?"
"Just before I called them," Matt said. "They were talking and they decided to elope. And, since we were planning on taking a trip ourselves, they couldn't think of anyone else that they'd rather take with them than us."
"Well, you know that I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to see Meghan," April said. "We've gotten close since she came back, and there's nothing that would make me happier than to be part of their special day." She smiled at Matt and kissed him. "To be honest, I've been thinking of leaving Mystic Falls for good. There's nothing holding me here. I know you're going to tell me, 'Except me,' but I wasn't going to leave alone. In fact, I want you with me."
