Accepting Chapter 13
Confronting
Okay side note before I begin, Sorry I forgot to tell y'all I changed the POV's of the story. My bad. So ENJOY :D
No one's POV (Austin Perspective)
As he walked away from her away with a big smirk on his face for that little stunt he pulled (He was very proud of himself for it). He lightly licked his lips and tastes the strawberry lip gloss. He may or may not have moaned at the taste. (Don't judge him). He also couldn't get one thing off his mind. Why would Dez ever harm Ally? He said he was okay with her being his girlfriend so why would he do it?
Was Ally lying to him? Nah. She's too much of a good girl to lie. And he knows she is not good at acting so those tears could be real...
He leaned on his door and sigh. He doesn't who to believe. His girlfriend or his life long best friend? Some say his girlfriend because he can't lose someone he loves. Others say his best friend because they're basically brothers. But you also love your brothers... Sigh.
Maybe he should probably talk to him. He needs answers. Not that he doesn't trust Ally. He just doesn't believe Dez would do such a thing. Okay, that sounds like he doesn't believe Ally. Ugh. He'll just call him.
He unlocked his phone and called Dez. As he waited for a ring, he paced back and forth in his living room. Then, it rang about three times before he answered.
"Yellow?" He asked through the speakers.
"Hey Dez." He answered seriously.
"'Sup?"
"I have to ask you something. Can you come over in a bit?" He responded.
"Um... I'm I'm busy and I got to go um. BYE!" Then he hung up right after. Austin pulled the phone away from him to see the call ended. He furred his eyebrows in disbelief. Was he seriously gonna slip pass him because he thinks he's up to something? Wait. He didn't even say anything!
Austin threw his phone across the room, letting fall on to his bed. He groaned. He really doesn't know what to do. He can go up to Dez's house and force it out of him but that wouldn't be a good idea.
Who's lying? He really wants to know. He looked at Ally's house and then to his car parked in front. He bit his lip as he grabbed his keys. He would take Ally for some moral support but he decided to hunt down Dez on his own. The last thing he wants is for her to get hurt.
He ran out and slipped into his car. He decided he wasn't gonna give up on getting answers. He drove to his house and knocked on the door. He then heard various noises coming from inside.
-Clank!-
He flinched.
-Bang!-
His eyes widen.
-Thud!-
He took a step back. A few seconds later a slightly messy Dez-wait scratch that. A very messy Dez opened the door panting. His eyes widened in panic as he looked over Austin's shoulder. Confused, he looked behind him and then back to Dez.
"Hey Austin didn't expect you to be here." He chuckled nervously.
"Yeah me neither." He paused. "We need to talk."
"A-About what?"
"About the fact you threatening Ally!"
"What? Why would I ever hurt her?" Then he mumbled something under breath that he couldn't quite pick up. But he let it slide.
For now.
"Ally may or may not have told me." He glared.
"Well. Ally's lying!"
"Why would she lie? She never lies!"
"Well maybe this time she did!"
Austin stopped. All he did was glare at him. Burning holes into his eyes. Clearly angry and frustrated. Dez apparently, saw it differently since he clearly wasn't that scared. He eyed the redhead up and down as if he was trying to find any signs of fear. None.
However, on his way down and back up, he saw a predominate bulge forming. He looked at his face and wondered what he does in his free time. There were few things Austin didn't know about the redhead and he often kept it that way. Except what he had against Ally. That was what he liked to know.
"What do you have against her?" He grumbled.
"Nothing. I swear."
"You sure?" He can tell he was lying. He thinks. He doesn't really know. There's millions of thoughts running through his mind to really think straight.
"Y-Yeah." Silence. "Bye!" And just like that, the door was closed and locked.
Austin sighed. This was gonna be harder than he had thought. But he wasn't going to give up. No. He was determine to find answers to unanswered questions. And if he wasn't going to get answers from Dez, so he was gonna try Ally. Again.
"Hey Austin." Ally responds as she opens the door for the blonde.
"Hey. Can I come in?"
"Oh sure." And then she steps away and lets him in.
"What are you doing here?" She asks timidly as he sits down on the down.
"I talked to Dez." He was gonna be straight with her. No sugar coating.
Her eyes widen in fear. Just the thought of who shall not be named gives her goosebumps. She slowly sits down next to him shivering slightly.
He places an arm around her in an attempt to calm his girlfriend down. She relaxed into his body but she still showed fear.
"What did he say?" She whispered.
"Nothing. He wouldn't talk. I tried to crack him but I couldn't. Something's wrong."
She sighed as she played with his fingers. "Why won't he accept me?"
"I don't know Alls." He sighed. "I really don't know."
"We won't let him get in between us right?" She asked quietly. Almost as if she was begging him to make sure Dez doesn't in between.
His heart nearly broke at the thought of her being miserable if they let him get in the way. "Of course. I l-care for you. Why?" He almost let it slip that he loves her. It was too early for her to know.
"I had nightmares. That you could leave me for him. That you were cheating on me with him. And everything would end badly."
"Well that's not gonna happen." He promised.
"For sure?"
"For sure."
It's not gonna happen. Dez can't damage them.
Right?
