No One's POV (Ally)

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" She whispered. "I don't want to miss class."

"Babe it'll be okay. I promise."

"Yeah the last guy who said that lied." She scoffed.

"What is up with you and your ex? You keep talking about him." He sighed.

She bit her lip. As much as she despised Austin, he never fails to crawl back into her mind and rethink everything. No. She told herself she was never going back.

Yes she did realize her mistake. But that doesn't cover he lied and cheated. It still something that happened and it can never be erased. She couldn't believe she thought he was telling all these promises that were never fulfilled.

"It's just... I thought he really liked me. He said he would never do anything to hurt me. But he ended up hurting me. I lost all my trust. But... I still miss him."

"He's just a jerk. If he really cared, he would have never done it."

"Yeah I guess." She sighed.

"C'mon. How 'bout we just go to class?" He suggested quietly.

"Yeah. That'd be great." She choked out.

As they walked away, they both failed to notice a blonde, sitting in the corner. Heartbroken.

During study hall, she just went to the library. No one ever goes there. So it was just her and the librarian. She asked him not to come because she needed to clear her mind. Since no one ever goes to the library, she wouldn't get distracted.

But the second she walked in to the place, was a whole another story. No. There weren't more people then she had thought. In fact, it was as empty as ever. Just with one extra person. You can guess who that was. She sighed. How is she suppose to clear her head of him when he's right there!

Her hopes of him ignoring her presence didn't last long as he looked up. His eyes were cold and dark. Showing little emotion. Of course. Like he cares. As she recalls, he was the one who ended it. And over text. Which is the dumbest way to break up with someone.

She scoffed softly. She has someone else now. He's just going to have to deal with it. She looked up again and at his direction. His head was down and in his hands. Again, she scoffed. Pathetic. Why is he upset over something he ended?

She sighed. There was no where else for her to go. So she went to the furthest corner she can get. Sitting down and pull out her book, she glanced over at him. His earphones were in and he was writing down something. To say she was shocked was an understatement. She never knew Austin kept a journal of any sort. Well, she never told him about her songbook but that's something else.

Forgetting about her book, she silently watch the blonde scribble down something only to erase it a few seconds later. He mouthed some words, bopped his head to whatever he was listening to and the process repeated.

This went on for a few minutes and then he looked up. She panicked. He ended up realizing she was looking at him. Instead of a look of sorrow, pain and regret, he just gave her a nasty glare, and returned to writing.

Not gonna lie, it kind if hurt. Yes, their break up was a bit... Lack for a better word... Horrendous. But doesn't mean he should pretend he never knew her.

Or at least that what's she thinks.

When lunch came, Ally avoided the lunch room. She went to courtyard. Again, she thought no one was going to be there. Again. She was wrong.

Again. It was the same person. With his back to her.

But this time, he wasn't listening to music and writing.

He was playing music and writing. She stood in shock. Again, she never knew he was into anything!

Standing by the door, she listened to what he played.

"You tried to tell that's it's nothing... So I keep coming back again..." He sang softly.

She kept listening. The song sounded beautiful.

"You're looking right in my eyes and you know that I'm lying, when I say that I'm fine there'll be somebody else and after all this time, I can't stop from loving you."

He was really into the song, pouring out his heart into every word. As much as she loved it, she couldn't help but feel this song was definitely about her.

"You know we can't be friends, I guess this is how it ends! Things that you sayyy, I can't erase... Repeating Days... It's all the same-ame-ame."

She quietly gasped. His voice was strong in the bridge. It sounded amazing.

"We're only afraid of loneliness, we're only afraid of dying alone. And even when you broke my heart, I'd do it again!" And then he ended the song there.

Ally wanted to clap but she didn't want to make herself known. After all, he doesn't seem to care anymore.

At least, until he spoke up.

"Ally, if you were right next to right now, I would tell how, sorry I paused. As if he was questioning whether to say it or not.

He took a deep breath and said, "I love you, Ally."

She gasped again. He loved her? She felt her heart crack. No. No. She can't go back again. She got hurt the first time. She wasn't going to risk it again. Even though she was all for risks. This risk, she just can't do it.

She can't.

And besides. She's with someone else.

"You probably don't like me. Let alone love me. It's okay. You don't have to hide it. If I had a another chance, I'd make sure I'll do better. I'll care for you more. I won't break promises anymore. But. You don't want me. You want him. And I'm totally okay with that. It's hard to accept it. But I'll have to. Your happiness is more important then mine." He choked out a sob at the end.

"You were the only person who truly cared for me. Then I messed up. Now you wouldn't care if I died. Not that anyone would care if I was gone. That's how pathetic and lonely my life is. No one loves me. No one cares about me. I'm nothing."

He sniffled before saying, "I just want someone to tell me 'I love you.' Just someone."

And she stood there. Feeling guiltier then ever.

The guilt piled up when he started to stand and turn around. She started to freak. Oh no. She thought.

"Ally?!" His mouth dropped.

Now she was really freaking out. She turned to the door and tried to open it. Sadly, her noodle arms wouldn't cut it.

"Ally? What-What are you doing here?" He wasn't angry. He wasn't upset either. Before she had time to answer, he asked another question.

"You heard everything didn't you?"

She couldn't speak, so she nodded.

"Well... Thanks for listening." And with that, he pushed her out of the way and pulled the door open and left.

So that's how you open the door. She thought stupidly.
