No One's POV (Ally)
She doesn't know why, but just saying that to his face was the greatest relief she's ever had. As if everything she's ever worried about just disappeared before her eyes. She felt... Free.
And she also may have lied to him... She didn't break up with her boyfriend, it was just to lessen his hopes. It sounds cruel and unfair and just flat out rude, but she couldn't stress enough that she didn't like him. She really couldn't. Gah. She's terrible.
She shaking her head at anymore thoughts of him, she walked over to a slighty pissed off Trish. Who had been waiting for over half an hour for her. Apologizing as she slipped into the car, Trish almost instantly grilled her with questions.
"Did you tell him?"
"Well-"
"Are you back together?"
"Um-"
"Did he tell you?"
"Wait-"
"Did you make out?"
"TRISH!"
"Hey. Had to ask." Trish stated defensively.
"Anyways," Ally continued after being interrupted, "To answer your questions, No, uh, no, what? And NO!" She listed, yelling the last part.
"Well. What did you tell him?"
"I mayyyyyy have told him I'll never like him again." Ally squeaked out.
After she replied, her face turned sour and almost disappointed.
A moment passed, Trish hadn't said a word for almost four minutes. And by the looks of it, there was no answer that could possibly do any good. Her face slowly went from being sour to just disappointed. Shaking her head, Trish continued driving.
Ally frowned. This wasn't like her best friend.
"Trish?" No reply.
Another moment passed. Trish had yet to reply.
Because of that, Ally was left with her own thoughts.
Did what I say make her upset? She thought worryingly.
The thought consumed her for the rest of the ride.
Later
When they pulled up to Ally's house, neither of them had said a word. Trish refused to talk to Ally and any attempts Ally had, all failed.
"I'm so disappointed in you." Trish sighed.
"W-What?"
"You heard me. I can't believe you said that to him! Why? Just.. Why?"
"I had to stop him somehow." She replied lamely.
"By telling him you'll never love him again? Couldn't there have been a better way to handle it?" Trish hissed.
Ally didn't replied, instead kept her head down in shame and regret. She really shouldn't have said that, but she really doesn't like... him...
"Ally, I thought I taught you better. What where you thinking?" Before she could reply, Trish continued. "I'm not sure if you saw it, but you should know damn well how amazing Austin treated you and you treated him like the dirt on the bottom of your shoe! I'm still surprised Austin kept chasing after you."
Tears flooded Ally's eyes. It was all true. Austin was great to her and she couldn't have cared less. And frankly, she couldn't believe that Austin still loved her. She's not worth it.
"I'm a horrible person," She sobbed. "I didn't deserve Austin. He doesn't need a person like me. I put him through so much pain. So much. I'm horrible. I'm awful. I-I-I d-don't deserve l-love."
"Ally... I didn't me-"
"I don't care! Because in the end it's all true! All true." She whispered.
Trish stayed silent, not knowing what to say, while holding back her own tears.
"I hurt him. I hate myself for it. All because I wanted to find out what was under that egoistic persona and broke what was inside. Not outside."
"Ally please. He doesn't hate you."
"How would you know?"
"I-I"
"Exactly. You don't. Ugh. You probably hate me too."
"Ally, I don't hate you."
"Whatever." Then, Ally sighed as she stepped out of the car.
"Where are you going?"
"I need some time to think." And then she disappeared into her house.
It had been an hour and she did a lot of thinking. And self loathing. And thinking. But mainly self loathing. In the mist of said loathing, she did think. Mainly how she could ever face Austin again. He probably hates her. But she wouldn't be surprised. She's hates herself too.
And then the image of Austin crying popped up in her head and she did everything in system to prevent her own tears. But nonetheless, her face was wet. She caused more pain than him.
Every time she said that, there was something at the back of her mind reminding her what he did to her. She didn't care anymore. She couldn't care less about what he did.
All she cares about what she did to him and how it led to this disaster of heartbreak and regret. She's so stupid. How did she just let go of him like that?
Suddenly, she leaped out of her bed, her room, down the stairs, and out the front door. She had no idea how she went from lying in her bed to standing on her front porch but here she was.
She glanced over at Austin's house. He too, was on his front porch but boy was he not alone. His arms was around someone's shoulders, kissing them. And once she saw that head of bright copper hair, her heart dropped to the center of the earth.
She sighed. What was she thinking? That he was gonna accepted her with open arms? Ridiculous. Shaking her head from any signs of disappointed and marched right back inside.
She should have never stepped outside.
A/N: ok just cuz this chap ended with deztin doesn't mean its deztin but it doesnt mean its auslly either ok. and also for ally's boyfriend i'll find an ending for him lol. And to ally: Karma is really a bitch ain't it? oh well that's what you get for hurting my preicous cinnamon roll.
