(Okay enjoy.)

No One's POV (Austin)

As he slowly brought his lips back to his, Austin couldn't help but feel guilt and a sense of relief. Guilt because he felt like he wasn't being faithful to Ally. But then again, she doesn't like him so why even bother anymore. He also felt relief, as there was still hope for love, for him. But god, for the longest time his mind boggled back and forth between Ally and Moving On. The obvious idea was to move on.

But his heart still flutters at the thought and sight of Ally. There's something inside of him that just screams Ally over and over again. He can never get it to stop. And he probably never will. He loves her too much. But she can never feel the same. Or at least, she refuses to have any feelings for him. It seems so funny how one incident ruins everything for him. He feels like a black cat, always carrying bad luck.

It's funny to him how every person he loved left him. Or just didn't care anymore. He learned not to care as much if someone who was close to him left. Ally was something else.

He loves her more than he should. He cares for her more than he should. He wants her more than he should. He couldn't imagine his life without her. He loves her so... So much. It's brutally unhealthy for him to love someone who obviously couldn't give the time of day anymore.

He can't help but feel attached. He can't help but love her. He can't help but just... Not accept she doesn't feel the same. When she turned around and left, he couldn't help but feel, cheated. Like everything he's done for her was meaningless. It was a feeling he couldn't really describe. Then he slid down the wall and just let it all out.

So when Dez came and drove him home, he thought about what Dez had told him months earlier,

"Austin. You may think she's a nice girl and all but one day she's going to turn her back on you and expose you to the entire school!" Dez exclaimed.

And that's when everything crashed on to him. Dez warned him from the start. He was too blinded by love to realize. Even though she never actually exposed him, she did end up turning her back on him. And that realization made everything even worse for him.

"Austin? Are you okay? You're crying." Dez had asked as he snapped out of his thoughts.

"Oh no. I'm fine, really. I-It's fine. Okay?" He choked out.

Letting out a breath, he replied, "Okay..."

"I'm sorry."

"What?"

"You heard me. I said I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"For not listening to you earlier." Austin sighed as he slumped against the seat of the car.

It took a moment for Dez to understand what Austin meant. Once he did, he gave him a look of sympathy. He immediately felt guilty, he never meant to have his words affect his best friend months later. Especially since those words were out of complete jealously.

"Austin..." Dez sighed. "That was months ago and I didn't know what I was saying."

"But in the end it was all true. That's all that matters."

"I guess..."

And that where it leads to now.

Both of them making out on Austin's front porch, breathless, a little sweaty, and a lotta red. And really dizzy. But neither of them had the energy to stop. Even if it was in public, but again, neither of them cared nor had the energy to care.

Kissing Dez on his own accord was different than on impulse or when he kind of forced to. It was like an unexplored territory that was just waiting to be searched, despite the dangers ahead. And boy, there were a lot of dangers.

One of them definitely had to be Ally. Dez never had a liking towards the brunette and she returned the same. If he were to start dating Dez, Ally could hate him even more. But, even then, she still doesn't like him. So how would that change her opinion?

He doesn't know. But when he pulled back from the kiss, he took a glance at her house and saw someone run inside as fast as they could. He was 100% sure that someone was Ally. He couldn't see her face, but from the looks of it, she obviously saw them and couldn't bother to keep watching.

He shook his head at the thought of Ally caring and went inside.

For the rest of the day, Austin barley spoke. Because Ally being outside and just seeing him and Dez was enough to keep his mind racing for longer than he was comfortable with. He tried to stop, but the image of her running inside kept playing in his head. And it was as vivid as he can remember it.

The question still remained, however, why was she outside in the first place? Was she going to get mail? Was she just going to get some fresh air? Was she going to see him?

The last question seemed a bit ridiculous. She barley wants anything to do with him. What reason would she have to even consider going to his house and talk to him? Did she realize she made a mistake? No. Was she going just to mock him? Probably.

So many questions and Austin can't answer any of them. He debated going to her house and getting answers but he knows what happened last time. And he wasn't going to let it happen again.

After a moment of deep breaths, he narrowed down his choices down to two.

*Try* to get back together with Ally.

Or

Forget about Ally and move on to someone else (his only real choice at the moment was Dez, so he'd go to Dez)

Both seems like okay options. But only one will have a good turn out and he's never really had any luck with chances.

Man, he really feels like a black cat.
