Accepting Chapter 24

Lightning

A/N: i'm sorry for posting late i just kept forgetting. And this chapter is so short grrr i didn't know how to make it longer and bleh here we are. I hope you like it... Enjoy!

No One's POV (Ally)

When Ally woke up the next day, she had the worst headache she's ever had. Thank god it was Saturday so she didn't have to worry about going to school with a massive headache.

Despite the extra time she had to sleep, she couldn't bring herself to sleep. And it wasn't just the headache. It was due to a blonde and a ginger. The image kept replaying her mind for the past twelve or so hours. And it was as clear as if it were happening right now.

She can't help but feel regret. She knows this is Karma getting back at her for lying. She knew damn well that lying would comeback and punch her right in the face. And that kiss was said punch.

Now she's suffering from all the bruises. And it may take longer than normal for those to heal.

Sighing, she plopped back into her pillow and blankets in hopes she can sleep the day away. Unfortunately, her hopes for a peaceful sleep fails as she gets out of bed and starts the day half awake and half asleep.

When she opens her eyes, all she sees is darkness. Looking up, she sees even darker cloud swirling around as if a storm was coming. And sure enough, thunder claps and she sees the flash of lightning just prior to the thunder.

She glances around for any sort of shelter but fails. There's nothing to hide under. Sighing, she pulls her jacket up over her head as the rain pounds down on her.

Then, she hears footsteps from behind. Slowly turning around, she sees a pair of dirty converse. She slowly lifts her gaze and a pair of ripped jeans appears. That's when she stops. She's seen those ripped jeans and dirty converse before. It clicks.

Austin.

"Ally?" His voice is broken. He can barley get a word out and her name comes out as if he's dehydrated.

"A-Austin?" Her voice is just as inaudible as his. "What do you want?" She asks timidly through the pounding rain.

"I-I...", He pauses. The sound of the pounding rain fills the air for a moment before he speaks again. "Need to tell you something..."

Sighing, she replies with, "Okay. But make it quick. This storm is getting stro-AHHHHHH!" She just barley finishes before a lightning strikes hundreds of feet away. She turns back to him.

"Ally... I... Don't want to be with you."

Then every bit of hope in her just shattered to bits. But she saw this coming. Hell. She knew this would happen since day one. But knowing it is different from hearing it.

"Oh." Was all she could manage out.

"I'm sorry but... I don't think we're right for each other anymore..." He sighed sympathetically.

Anymore. Anymore. That means he, for a brief period in time, thought they were meant to be. The thought came down on her hard. Tears were welling up in her eyes but she blinked them back. There no time for tears.

Lightning flashed. Thunder clapped. Rain poured down harder and faster. She couldn't careless about the rain. Her heart was shattered and gone.

"I knew this would happen." She whimpered.

"You did?" He asks surprised.

"I did. But hearing it is as if i just realized it for the first time. I guess I was stupid to think we'd ever have a chance." Ally sighs dejected.

"Don't you have a boyfriend?"

"Yea-Wait how?" How-What-When-What?

"Ally. I knew you were lying. And that's when-"

She never got to hear the rest of what he said.

Lightning struck.

Tears were running down her face.

His eyes stared at her emotionless.

The rain was gone.

And so was him.

"NOOOOOOOOOO-"

"OOOOOOOOO!" She cried out.

That was the worst night mare she's ever had.
