The Rebirth of Black Adam part 3

(Fawcett City, Illinois. Middle of the city. February 16th, 18:25)

The lightning coursed over Billy as he took a new form. Standing in his place was a tall, at least Superman's height, with a red, military-styled uniform with a yellow lightning bolt on his front shirt with six buttons around it too keep it on, black gloves with golden wrist bands around his wrists, black military-styled boots, and a white cape with a small collar came around his shoulders.

"Holy moly…I'm big." Said Billy, shocked as Black Adam flew forward to send a punch, but Billy moved just as fast away. "And I'm fast. I wonder…" He then ran forward at super fast speeds, sending a powerful punch his way, sending Adam flying backwards.

"…What just happened?" asked Flash, confused. Etrigan sighed as Flash asks "What? What I say?"

"Is it not obvious? The boy was given great power by an unknown force of magic. But by the aura, it is seems too be given the power of many Greek deities." Etrigan said with a grunt as Flash nods.

"Whatever the source is, he still needs help." Said Wonder Woman calmly as she flew forward and sent a powerful punch at Adam, sending him flying backwards as Batman shot a grappling hook out and it attached too Adam's chest.

"Not so fast." He said as he used the Grappling hook too send him propelling forward to kick Adam's chest, making the two move back a bit as Batman cringed from the impact.

"Hmm…this is interesting…but now…I don't wish to fight with you, Batman." Black Adam said as he looked at the others "Or ANY of you…I want to fight…HIM." He pointed at Billy at this, making him gulp.

"And if we refuse?" asked Batman as black Adam looked calmly at this as he sent a blast of lightning at a near by car, causing it to explode.

"And that vehicle was empty…see if you can stop me from attacking an innocent in their vehicle." Black Adam as Billy just frowned as he nods.

"OK…but I chose who I fight along side, since I'm new at this still." Billy as Black Adam nods.

"Fair enough, boy…who do you chose?" asked Black Adam, crossing his arms as Billy looked around at the others.

"…I chose Superman." Said Billy. "Mostly because, while everyone in the league can take you on, he can go equal grounds with you."

Batman nods as he says, "Agreed. Go get him, Superman." Superman nods at this as he walked up beside Billy, as the two glared at Black Adam, who just chuckled a bit.

"Very well…" he said as he got into a stance, glaring at the two super heroes as Billy looked at Superman.

"Are you ready, Billy?" asked superman, as Billy nods as he looked towards them.

"Yeah…Clark." Billy said this as superman looked at him in shock. "By the way…next time you want to switch outfits, DON'T leave your casual clothes in an alley way." Superman looked surprised by this while Batman just face palmed a bit.

Black Adam flew forward at this, his fists ignited with electricity as he sent Billy flying backwards, making the younger hero grunt as he hit a near by car, crushing the doors on it's side from the force.

Superman, seeing him, sent a powerful punch his way back as he glared before sending out a blast of red energy right at the black-clad man, sending him backwards as Billy got up.

Black Adam groaned as he got up as he saw Billy fly forward and send him backwards with a powerful punch, but he grabbed the punch as his hands glowed with energy, as did Billy's. "So boy, tell me…what will your title be?"

Billy glared at this as he says "I'll tell ya AFTER I kick your sorry butt." He said as he head butted him, making the man grunt in pain as Billy used his free punch to send a piston punch into his stomach, making the man grunt in pain from the hits.

Black Adam then grabbed Billy's head before throwing him aside when Superman flew forward and elbowed him in the back before Billy got back up and flew forward before sending him flying upward with an uppercut.

Adam growled at this as he got himself steadied in the air as he shot a blast of lightning at the two, but Billy caught his as he grunted, being sent back as he held the lightning bolt in his hand. "…OK, that was cool." Said Billy with a smirk as he threw it back, sending Adam back. "How did I do that?"

"It is one o your powers…the power of Zeus…" said a voice in his head, making Billy go wide eyed, shocked.

'Shazam?' thought Billy, surprised as he saw a ghostly head of Shazam appear as he nods.

"Correct…I am here to aid you. But first of all, you need a strategy…think about it: You must get him out cold so you can contain him…what do you think will work?" asked Shazam, as Captain Marvel flew off at this.

'OK…I got one…' He flew over too Batman and says "Bats, I need you and the others too get people out of the closest gas Station. Get their cars out, get what they need, anything. Just get them out."

"Right." Said Batman as he and Wonder Woman went off too get the people out, not knowing of a pair of emerald green eyes watching the two go as it looked too the sky.

Black Adam flew at Billy, who grunted as he was tackled, watching Batman and Wonder Woman getting people out as a cashier was getting money out. Batman gave the man a flat look as the man says "Sorry…getting the store's profits out…I'm putting it in my car and getting out…I'll be seeing ya!" He ran to his car and got away as Batman and Wonder Woman moved away.

Billy saw this and smirked. "Superman, when I give the signal, ignite one of those gas containers." Superman nods as he took one out and began to let the gasoline flow out as he flew back.

Black Adam growled as he flew over, but Billy grabbed him. "Everyone, get back!" He yelled down at the crowd as the group quickly scrambled away from the Gas station area.

"Zatanna, Hal, make sure the explosion doesn't go to far." Batman said to the two as the two nod and got ready as Billy threw him in the direction of the gas station's area as Hal and Zatanna made a barrier too protect the areas around the gas station as Superman fired a blast of heat vision, as Black Adam got to the area when…

KA-BOOM!

The gas station exploded with a giant inferno, as everyone covered his or her eyes from the bright light as there were many more explosions after that. Billy flew back down to the ground at this ast here were people looking in confusion at him, making him nervous.

"Alright, you got him!" cheered a voice as Billy turned too his friends. Eugene was smirking as he says "That was quite a way to finish off that enemy."

"Way to go, Captain Marvel!" said Pedro with a giant grin, as Billy looked curious at this.

"…Captain marvel? Really?" Darla asked flatly, Tawny in her arms as he mewed.

"Captain Marvel…Yeah, I like the sound of that." Said Billy, rubbing his chin at this as he nods. "OK…" He flew up as he says "People of Fawcett City, you can rest easy! For I, Captain Marvel, have helped aid the Justice League defeat the one known as Black Adam."

"How about I write that name on your headstone, boy?" asked a voice as Billy went wide eyed, as he turned around and saw…Black Adam, perfectly fine!

"…OH COME ON!" Yelled Captain Marvel, annoyed. "HOW did you survive that explosion!?"

"I am as powerful as you are, boy…but unlike you…I am More experienced." Said Black Adam with a smirk as he suddenly appeared before him, grabbing him by the front of his shirt, his fist gaining electricity.

"Hey, creepshow!" said Darla as she picked up a rock that was on the ground and chucked it at Black aDam as he turned and got hit in the forehead by it, making him grunt in surprise more than pain.

"…What was that meant too do?" asked Black Adam as he glared at Darla as the cat hissed in anger. Black Adam saw the cat and frowned. "…So the beast protects them, hmm? Well then…I shall take care of you now…" He said as he got out a strange stone out of his pocket and threw it down, as he yells "SHAZAM!"

Suddenly a bolt of lightning hits the stone, causing it too turn into a large, 12 foot tall humanoid crocodile with Egyptian styled armor with a pair of khopesh, growling at them with glowing yellow eyes.

"…Oh come on, again with the giant crocodiles!" said Hal, annoyed. "We had to deal with those months ago!"

"Sobek, destroy the beast and it's aids." Said Black Adam as the large beast raised it's hooked swords up, and descended down until Hal created an energy sword too block the blades.

"Back off, Wally Gator." Said Hal with a glare as Wonder Woman got out her lasso to grab it's arm as she pulled back, making the creature growl.

Captain Marvel saw this as he growled and suddenly sent a giant punch towards him as he saw the large creature smack Hal aside before grabbing the Lasso before pulling on it and slamming Wonder Woman too a wall.

'You must get them an ally…the feline is the key…' Shazam instructed in Captain Marvel's head as he looked confused.

'the Feline? You mean…Tawny!? You want me to strike my cat with lightning!?' asked Marvel, shocked at this.

"Just do it…" said Shazam flatly as Billy sighs. 'Just yell the word and dodge it, and watch."

"alright…SHAZAM!" He yelled as he flew away from the lightning, as a bolt flew down at Darla who screamed as tawny wiggled out and jumped up too meet the lightning, making it yowl as it suddenly began to roar.

"…What the?" asked Green Lantern, confused as he saw tawny beginning to grow in size and height, as he began to gain a bipedal form.

"Two familiars…" said Aquaman with a curious tone, as he saw a new humanoid figure where Tawny was: A humanoid Bengal Tiger with Tawny's fur coloring with his eyes, but was about 10 feet in height, with bronze armor that covered it's upper body and shoulders, metallic gloves with clawed tips and a helmet that took the form of a saber-toothed tiger's head.

Sobek hissed as Tawny glared at him, as he spoke in a deep voice "Sobek…it has been many of years since we last saw each other…" He said as he flicked his wrists, causing blades too pop out of the front of his gauntlets, going into a stance.

"…a talking tiger…of course." Zatanna sighed, rubbing her temple.

"Heroes…aid me in defeating with this beast…" growled Tawny, as Hal shrugged too the others.

"I don't know about you guys, but when a Tiger talks, I don't argue…of course, I am used to talking animals where I work, but still." Hal shrugged as he flew forward as Wonder Woman, Batman and Aquaman got in as well as Zatanna looked at Superman and Captain Marvel, as she nods.

Captain Marvel growled as he glared at Black Adam as he says "You are willing to sic your pet too attack my friends?" Black adam just chuckled as yellow lightning began to creep out of him, his eyes glowing dark yellow.

"They are measly worms too be stomped. Think about it boy; we have great power…we are close to GODS. Why not show these weak mortals the true power that we hold?" Black Adam asked with a smirk as Captain Marvel's body began to spark in anger, glaring up with bright blue eyes.

"Billy…?" Sueprman asked, surprised as Captain Marvel suddenly flew forward, sparks flying over him. "Billy, wait!" He said as Captain Marvel yelled and tackled Black Adam, as the two's lightning began to mix before sending out a shockwave of blue and yellow lightning.

"Where did they go?" asked Batman, seeing this.

"They will be back, don't worry…the Captain just put them through a small time shift." Said Tawny as he growled at Sobek, as the kids ran away as the heroes glared down at the crocodile, who just growled as he got out his sickle swords, ready too fight.

"I'll go look for Marvel…you guys deal with him." Said Batman as he went off, using his grappling hook before activating a speeding function, causing him too glide off as the others glared at Sobek.

(Meanwhile, with Captain Marvel and Black Adam in an Unknown location)

When the two reformed, they were in a strange, swirling vortex made up of black, white, blue and yellow energy as the appeared, fighting each other as the two began to share punches among the other as the two crashed within a cave, grunting as the two continued to fight.

"Ugh!" said Black Adam as he swung his fist down at Captain Marvel's face, making him cringe as he growled and punched him in the stomach before kicking him away before flying back towards the other side of this strange vortex, Marvel just tackled him out of the trail, causing the two to yell out as they suddenly appeared in a shockwave, appearing back in Fawcett City, only on the other side as the two crashed down, making a crater appear where they land.

People gathered around the crater, as Captain Marvel getting up and saw the people. "Everyone, get back! This guy is still dangerous." He said, his body covered with blue and yellow lightning as he crawled out, as the group nods and run away from the group and went to watch what happened next.

"Why do you try and protect these…worms…?" said Black Adam as he got up, glaring darkly at the younger hero. "I see that you are stronger than I originally thought…so hwy not join me? We shall rule this pathetic world together."

"…First you want to kill me, then you crushed a friend of mine's legs, and now you want me to join you? Yeah…why do Super villains ALWAYS think weird?" asked Captain Marvel flatly, rolling his eyes at this.

"Then you shall die with the rest of them!" said Black adam, his eyes glowing yellow as Captain Marvel panted a bit.

'OK…Stamina of Achilles apparently can go so far…Shazam, what should I do?' asked Captain Marvel, curious.

'You two share the same powers, so you should share the same weaknesses.' Shazam told Billy, making him go wide eyed.

'Wait…if we have the same powers…that meanst he magic word can work on him too!' thought Billy as he smirked as he flew ahead, as Billy turned black Adam around and held his arm.

"LET ME GO, BOY!" yelled Black Adam, annoyed as Captain Marvel looked up.

"Better time this right…" He whispered to himself before yelling out one word…

"SHAZAM!" yelled Captain Marvel as a lightning bolt came down, as he jumped back, causing Black Adam to only look up in shcok as he yells out as he was struck down.

Superman noticed the lightning as he saw Sobek groan as he began to vanish, fading away with the stone vanishing. Tawny nods as he says "Seems Adam has fallen…follow the lightning." Tawny then leads the group towards that area, the group following suit.

Batman came over to Captain Marvel as the two looked in the creator, seeing a young Arabic man, no older than 29, lying in the crater with a groan. He wore a slightly ripped up tan shirt, a pair of khakis and black shoes.

The man groaned as he rubbed his head and asks "Wha-what is going on?" in a confused tone, rubbing his head with a groan. "Where am I?"

Hal came in at this and asks "Who is that guy?"

"That's Theo Adam, the man Black Adam was using…at least was. I think I kind of blew him up…" Captain Marvel said sheepishly as police officers came into the crater and put handcuffs on the confused man, leading him too a squad car.

"Wait…now I remember…the tomb…Batson…" Theo whispered too himself as he looked at Captain Marvel and his eyes narrowed a bit, showing distain forming as he says "So…what my ancestor said was true…a new one has been chosen. Goodbye Marvel…least we meet again." He was put into the car at this.

"…Yikes…that was weirder than the thing with the mummy…" said Zatanna, rubbing her ehad at this.

"You said it…" Superman nods with agreement.

"Aye…so, what do we do with the boy?" Aquaman said calmly, looking at Captain Marvel, who looked kind of nervous at this.

"Hmm…I think he has a lot of potential in him, if one trains him correctly." Wonder Woman said, looking at Marvel at this.

"I think I can help with that." Superman said with a nod as he looked at Captain Marvel "So Billy…will you like too be part of the Justice League?"

"Wait, really!?" asked Captain Marvel, shocked at this.

"So…is that a yes or a no?" Batman asked flatly, looking at Billy at this.

"YES!" Said Captain Marvel with excitement…before clearing his throat as he says in a more professional manner "Yes, that would be great. Thank you." Superman chuckled a bit at this as the two shook hands, as a member of WHIZ News took a picture of this moment.

(Two days Later… Metropolis, New York. Ace O'Clubs Diner and Pub February 18th, 12:33)

Lois was looking over a newspaper from the Daily Planet, on the front reading 'Big Red Cheese joins the JLA' She looked over that part and chuckled "OK, I'll admit, that nickname doesn't do that kid justice." She looked at Clark at this, as the two were eating at the diner for lunch.

"Agreed." Said Clark, as he ate a steak that was in front of him, as Lois sipped from her coffee cup before taking eating a potato wedge.

"So, how's the kid doing? I'm sure he's learning a lot from his favorite heroes." Lois said with a smile as Clark chuckled.

"Billy is OK. I had Perry put in a good word for him too get him some more money until we can find him an new family. Until then, Bambi said she'd watch over him as his guardian." Clark said as Lois nods with a smile.

Then a crash is heard outside followed by a shriek as Lois sighs and asks "Great…just what we need at lunch…" She looked outside and saw a ghostly pale woman looking around, glowing blue eyes and flaming white hair and an all-black outfit with a skeleton styled outfit.

"Silver Banshee…Be right back…" Said Clark as he quickly went into his costume and this time, put his clothes in his suitcase and, in a blur of red and blue, put it by her.

Lois saw this and chuckled. "He's finally learning…" as she looked outside too watch the two battle each other.

(Fawcett City, Illinois. Fawcett City Detention Facility, February 18th, 12:45)

"Hey Adam, here's your lunch and newspaper." Said a guard as he put in a tray with a piece of cooked tuna, a few orange slices, a bottle of water, and piece of nutcake with syrup covering it with a few plastic utensils.

The man, now dressed with a orange prison uniform, took thet ray and the newspaper, growling a bit at the front page. On it showed Captain Marvel helping out with repairing the city. The headline was 'Fawcett's new hero helps rebuild City after Mad Man's Rampage'

He crumpled up the paper and threw it at a trashcan as he took the tray and began to eat, but cringed when he felt a spark hit his hand from the metal tray. He looked at his hand…and saw that it was sparking with yellow electricity still.

The man then smirked at this as he says "Interesting…" as he looked up, his eyes glowing bright yellow, a chuckle escaping his lips.
