Snake in the Grass Part 2

(Tokyo, Japan. Tesshin Industry's dining area. March 13th, 19:52)

Bruce and friends were sitting at a table with Yamato, Tatsu and Ryuga as Christian just looked slightly bored as he sat down on his knees with the others. Many dishes were brought out as small plates and chopsticks were brought out.

"Arigato." Bruce said to the waitress who served him, who giggled at that as Diana just rolled her eyes slightly at this.

"So Bruce…I gotta ask, who's the kid?" Christian asked, motioning to Billy.

"He's sort of a reporter for WHIZ." Clark explained. "…Well, more like for its blog, but pickers can't be choosers."

"But it still counts as Journalism since I'm not just putting up random stuff." Billy said with a shrug.

"Your parents must be very proud, Batson-kun." Tatsu said with a small smile, as Billy's eyes went down cast.

"My parents died a few years ago…but I know they're proud, where ever they are." Billy said, as Tatsu cringed.

"Sumimasen, I didn't mean-" Tatsu began quickly as Billy put his hand up.

"Don't worry, it's OK." Said Billy sheepishly. "You didn't know, so you didn't offend me." Tatsu gave him a faint smile at this.

"Heh, how many orphans are on this table?" Christian asked, looking at Bruce at this as he shrugs.

"So, let us eat my friends." Takeru said with a smile as they all nod and began to eat, not noticing a man walking up.

"Excuse me, I have some sake for you." Said the man behind them as Takeru frowned deeply at this.

"I didn't order any sake." Takeru said calmly as he looked as the man just nods.

"It's on the house." The man said as he set it down as Takeru frowned as Katana saw the man and went wide-eyed as she got up.

"Sumimasen, I must go…powder my nose." Tatsu said as she left, picking up a bag with her…a duffle bag, which made Ryuga raise an eyebrow.

"What does that even mean? She doesn't look like the one to wear make up." Billy said, confused as Christian ruffles his head.

"I'll tell ya when you're older, kid." Christian said in a teasing tone as Billy gave him a faint scowl.

The man left, as Takeru watched him go with a suspicious look on his face but saw he was following Tatsu, as did Batman. The Dark Knight frowned as he looks at his teammates, who were looking where he was looking.

(With Tatsu)

Tatsu was in a stall at this time, as the sound of rustling clothing is heard for a moment as she walked out…dressed as Katana, but without her mask as she puts on the domino mask from earlier as she looks herself in the mirror, adjusting her hair. She smirked at the reflection as she got out something from her bag: The sword from all those years ago, the sword that was almost taken.

"So, you have the blade, eh?" asked a hissing voice as she turned and saw the waiter from earlier, looking up as a hissing sound is heard from his person, fangs shown in his mouth.

"Orochi…I knew I felt your evil." Katana said, her tone turning calmer as she glares darkly at the man as he chuckled darkly, his laughing sounded like many snakes.

"Do you really believe you can defeat me? Even after all of thessssssse yearssssssss?" the man hissed as he narrowed his now red eyes as he got out a very long sword. "For you sseeee, I have a new blade…one that makes your small blade look weak by comparison." He took out a blade that was about as long as she was with a pitch-gray blade with red lining on it and a snake-styled hilt.

Katana growled at this as she ditched her duffle bag as she unsheathed the sword, it's blade glowing faintly as she ran at him, him easily slicking to the side as she kicked a sink, breaking the faucet from the force of her kick as water shot out. She growled as she did another kick, but he just grabs her and tosses her out of the door, sending her out and into the restaurant.

Many patrons ran out as they saw the two come out, as Orochi chuckled darkly at her. Billy saw this as he pats Clark's arm as he saw this.

"We need to get some help, fast." Dinah said to the others as the rest of the League nods as Takeru got up, as did Christian.

"I shall go to the police." Takeru said as he ran out as Christian nods.

"I'll get these people out, you guys get out of here." Said Christian as he followed after Takeru and Ryuga, who went with Takeru as the League looked at each other and nod.

"We'll get suited up." Oliver told the others as he and Bruce got up.

"No need. Neerg Worra Dna Namtab." Zatanna said as her eyes flashed as the two suddenly gained their costumes

"Thanks, Zat." Oliver said with a smirk as Batman nods, getting his batarangs out.

"Finally, some action." Said Hal as he puts his ring on as his eyes glowed bright green as his Lantern uniform came over his clothes and his mask formed. Diana nods as she spun around for a moment and changed into her costume.

"SHAZAM!" Billy yelled out as he was struck by lightning from the outside, as Captain Marvel appeared as Jason's eyes glowed red.

"Gone, gone the form of man…RISE THE DEMON ETRIGAN!" Jason roared as Etrigan formed, his sword out, as Zatanna flicked her wrist as her clothing changed into that of a magician's uniform. Clark turned into a blur for a second before coming back, his civilian clothing gone as well as his suitcase, as he glares at the group.

"Etrigan, Zatanna, Marvel, do you see anything up with the man she's fighting?" Superman asked as Dinah got ready to go as well, as Marvel and Etrigan both looked at Orochi.

Etrigan growled as he says "He is a yokai spirit…a Japanese demon who bring destruction around those. This one is high powered, but needs a human host to feed off of."

"But his magic levels are quite high." Zatanna said calmly. "Like Shezmu the Mummy…"

"Great…" Hal said with a scowl as he says "Hey sister, back off! I got him!" He flew forward at this as Katana saw him and jumped back as Orochi looked as Hal's ring glowed.

"Wha-" Before he could react, a giant green fist slammed him into a wall as Hal smirked as the hand quickly turned into chains as he growled.

"Stay down, buster. Or else." Hal said, his eyes narrowing under his mask as the man just smirked.

"Allow me…to end him." Katana growled, her sword out as she puts it at his neck.

"Whoa, what?" asked Captain Marvel, surprised. "You can't just kill him…can she?"

"It'd be better off that way." Etrigan growled as he saw Orochi chuckle darkly as Etrigan growled more. "He is…amused?"

"Yessss…with you so-called 'heroes'…" Orochi hissed as he chuckled darkly, Katana's eyes narrowing under her mask as she points her blade as Orochi began to adjust himself slightly before…

Crack!

Hal went wide eyed as he saw him beginning to flex a bit as the chains began to break and then…Orochi broke free, laughing evilly as his sword gleamed. He then slashed forward, sending both Katana and Hal away from the force of the slash as Katana growled, angered by this.

"That's it…" Marvel said with an annoyed look on his face as he picked up the nearest table. "Hey freak show!" He then chucked it at him as Orochi slashed through it with ease.

"What was the point of that?" Orochi hissed as he saw him and smirked darkly. "So…the power of the Wizard, eh?" He looked to the side as he saw several of the wait staff in the kitchen and smirked. "Hmm…seems some mortals have decided to stay…for dinner."

"Huh?" Superman asked as his eyes went wide as Orochi's mouth began to open to inhuman lengths, as he turned and looked at the door. Suddenly screaming is heard as white wisps began to form and then the sound of thuds as the wisps went down Orochi's throat, as he gulped a bit as he chuckled darkly.

"…27 people worked here…now 27 are no more." Orochi said with a dark chuckle as his eyes glowed dark red as Hal growled.

"Why you little" Suddenly a giant hammer came out as the others glared as well.

"That's it, you're going down!" Said Oliver as he got an arrow out and aims and then fires as Orochi grabbed it mid-flight as Arrow smirked. "Tick-Tick-Boom."

Suddenly it ticked twice before-

BOOM!

The arrow exploded on him, making him stagger back a bit as Dinah sent out a Canary cry at him, making him hit a wall as Superman looked up over him and fired a blast of heat from the ceiling to knock some rubble on him, but Orochi moved out of the way quickly as he laughed.

"Orochi, stop." A voice said as he turned and saw Samurai and Bushido arrive, both frowning as he looked at them.

"So…the two chosen have returned," he hissed as he asks, "Take it you want to take me in"

"No…I'll take you on." Said Katana as she got into a pose with the sword.

"Wait, that's-Katana, are you mad!?" Bushido asked angrily. "That sword is dangerous!"

"I know, Bushido…and I will make sure that it won't go to him. I already put its mark on me." Said Katana, rolling up her sword-using arm's sleeve, revealing…a strange-looking kanji that was bright red in coloring.

"Wait, that's a crimson color…so that's bad, right?" Captain Marvel asked as Batman nods.

"Anything written in crimson is meant to represent blood…so that's a cursed mark." Said Batman with a deep frown. "Something must be up with that sword."

Orochi chuckled darkly at this as he got into a pose. "So you challenge me, yes? That means you cannot interfere, Susanoo." The wind user frowned at this as Superman was about to interrupt but Samurai stopped him.

"No…he's right. We cannot interfere with this challenge." Said Samurai. "Not until we find the right time."

Orochi smirked at this as he got into a stance as well as he hissed darkly before running over, going at very fast speeds and slashed down, but she blocked it with the ghostly-glowing blade as she grunts against the attack.

She jumped back as she glared and did a few flips as she sent a kick his way, making Orochi growl at the hit as he sent a kick her way as she dodged a few of them but grunted as she glared darkly as her eyes flashed pale as she slashed downward as he smirked and knocked it back as he kicked her away as she was sent back.

'Izunami…you are weakening my student…' Samurai thought as Katana growled as she got up, as she sheathed her sword as she ran forward, as Orochi noticed her body was getting sluggish as her mark was glowing.

"Looks like the Soultaker's curse is effecting you…" He smirked darkly at this as he ran down as a strange circle appeared under him. "The Yami-"

Suddenly a shockwave formed as spikes almost pierced him, but his body contorted out of the way as a clanking sound is heard.

"Hey Snake-face, you want to mess with someone…mess with me." Said a voice as someone was coming over, Batman's eyes widening.

"Alchimia?" Batman asked himself, as he turned at this.

"The magic guy from Gotham?" Oliver asked, as the figure snickered.

"Alchemist, actually Bow-boy." Said a voice as an onyx-colored high-tech knight with ruby-red ruins forming on his arms, a Transmutation circle on its chest, and a ruby-red cape on his back.

"Who is this?" Captain Marvel asked as Bushido quickly got Katana out of range as Orochi hissed at the new arrival.

"Lets see how you deal with me, boy…" Orochi hissed as he ran forward, sending his sword down as Alchimia pressed down on his sleeve as a blade formed and blocked the large mystical blade.

"Nuh-uh, sorry ugly, but…" He suddenly put his cape over his face as the man yelled out as he tried to get it off as Alchimia sent a kick into his chest as Orochi grunted at this as he growled. "You fail, Orochi-freak show."

Orochi hissed darkly as his fingers gained claws, some of his skin falling off as Alchimia smirked as he slammed his hand down as he says "Going down."

"Huh?" asked Orochi as an explosion is heard as a car suddenly flew down at him as Marvel saw part of the road had exploded, sending it down at Orochi as Alchimia pressed it down as ti exploded.

"No kill like overkill…" Oliver said flatly as he saw the remains of the man under the remains of the car. "Well, looks like you weren't needed, Samurai Jack."

Samurai looked at the body with a frown as Batman picked up a piece of the skin as white-eye covering came from it as he looked it over. "Oracle, what is this?"

"You're not gonna believe it, Bruce…but that's like a snake skin you're holding…but an odd one. It's obviously human, but I am getting some similar skin marks to a Gloydius blomhoffii, a Japanese viper called a Mamushi."

"Mamushi…" Batman whispered as his eyes widen as he saw something slinking around in the shadows behind Alchimia. "Alchimia, behind you!"

"Huh?" the hero looked confused something jumped him, making him yell out as he tried to get out as a much larger being formed from him. IT appeared to be a paler, more reptilian man with a long, serpent-like lower body, dark red reptilian eyes, clawed hands and the sword in hand, with a pitch-black snake tail with a purple under belly to it.

The snake man hissed darkly as his sword was out as he smirked darkly. "I sense a…strong power within you…I shall have it after I kill you."

"…OK…that's not comforting at all, you freak…" said Alchimia flatly as Zatanna saw this.

"Gnirb mih ereh!" Zatanna said as Alchimia vanished as he was away from him now.

"Hah, can't get me know, freak!" said Alchimia with a smirk as Orochi growled faintly as he saw Katana and smirked.

"Then I shall feast on her…" Orochi hissed as he slithered over again, moving much faster than before as Superman suddenly flew forward and slammed his fist in his face as his body flew away.

"Bats, you stay here with Samurai and Bushido. Alchimia, think you can help us?" Hal asked as Alchimia nods with a smirk under his mask.

"No problem, Lantern." Said Alchimia as Superman nods.

"Zatanna, Black Canary, Green Arrow, you all stay here as well." Superman said to his other members as the four nods as they looked at the three samurais with concern on their face as they saw the mark glowing on her arm as her face grimanced.

"Tatsu…" Samurai whispered, worried for his student as he looked to the sky as flying members as they left with Etrigan and Alchimia he frowned as he says "Bushido…the rest of you…help her. Find a way to awaken her. I shall aid your allies." He flew off at this as Batman nods to the Japanese heroes as he looked at Tatsu's face as Zatanna put her hands on her head, trying to find out how to get her awake.

(Inside of Katana's mind)

Tatsu groaned as she lay in a dark mist-filled room as a dark chuckle is heard as she got up, groaning. "Where…am I?" she asked, confused as she looked around in confusion before seeing herself, but dressed as Katana as she glared darkly.

"You…are the weaker half…you shall be destroyed." 'Katana' said as Tatsu looked down and saw herself as the day her boyfriend had died, uniform and all.

"Wait, what is going on here?" Tatsu asked, as she backed up as she saw Katana's arm changed into the Soultaker sword as she smirked darkly. "Who are you!?"

"I am…Izanami…no…Mikoto" she said, her tone distorted as a shadowy form formed over her, as a zombified spirit formed over her as it hissed at her, taking the form of a ghostly wraith as an army of spirits formed in her mind. "And soon…your soul shall be mine…"

Tatsu began to pant at this as she backed up, her face turning faintly pale as she saw the cursed half of her with the ghosts behind them, all hissing darkly as they all chanted 'Kill…Kill…Kill…'

(Midtown Tokyo, Japan. 23:54)

Orochi landed with a growl, as he looked everywhere and smirked as people began to look in fear as they began to leave but he smirked as dark smoke formed over him as he sent out a demonic chuckle as the flying heroes came in and saw this.

"Oh that can't be good…" said Captain Marvel as Hal just gave him a flat look.

"REAL good use of that Wisdom of Solomon, Marvel." Hal said flatly as Etrigan snarled.

"He is empowered...he's becoming a full-blown yokai soon…he's removing his human shell." Etrigan snarled as Alchimia gave him a flat look.

"Can someone translate the demon please?" he asked as Wonder Woman frowned.

"Look." She said as the heroes looked to see him become a very large serpent, becoming 5 times the size from before as he became a very large, shadowy serpent with black and violet scales with pitch red eyes and a humanoid face on his face, a very long jaw with a mane of indigo hair on it's head, as he snarled darkly at them.

"Soon…I shall feast on the world of mortals…and I'll be reborn…" the serpent hissed in the mind of all the people there. "For I am…Yamata-no-Orochi!" it laughed demonically as the people all looked at the demonic serpent hissed darkly, glaring down at the heroes.

"…This will not be fun." Hal said as he nods to the others heroes as they nod back as they all got out their weapons: Hal created a katana out of his ring, Superman's eyes glowed dark red, Wonder Woman got her lasso out to use, Alchimia grew out a sword out of his' armored sleeve, Etrigan withdrew his sword, and Marvel's fists glowed with lightning as they glared at the giant serpent before them.

"Orochi!" said a voice as Orochi hissed as he saw Samurai flying over, his sword out. "Our battle is here, Demon Serpent…here and now."

Orochi smirked evilly as he says "Yes…we shall finish this here and now!" Dark magic formed over him as the two went at each other, the other heroes' flying/running over to help.
