OK, here's part two of my Dakota arc. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Big Bang Fury Part 2

(Dakota city, Michigan. Ernest Hemmingway High School. March 20 12:56)

"So…let me get this straight here…YOU two went to the docks…right when a gang war was about to start…and you were gonna talk them out of it?" asked Beast Boy, looking at the two oddly when they explained the situation to them.

"In a nut shell, yep.' Richie said as Roy rolled his eyes.

"Trust me, living in the Glades in Star City, I know a bad idea when I hear it. And trying to talk down a Gang war is as stupid as you can get." Said Red arrow as Virgil glares.

"Hey, someone had to stop them before someone ended up dead. The docks are near a suburb." Virgil said…before he sighed as he says, "My mom died during a gang war, OK? She was a nurse who was on the scene. I didn't want to see anyone else lose someone close to them…"

The group looked at each other…as Terra says, "Trust me on this one, Dreads, we know a thing or two about losing someone you love."

"Yeah? How?" asked Richie as Beast boy put a hand up.

"Me? My folks were biologist who studied diseases. I got infected with something and they gave me this weird medicine they got for me. Couple years later, after my powers develop, my parents get killed by a psychotic old guy who said he lived for centuries and that my powers will 'Create the greatest army ever' or something like that."

Starfire looked down as she says, "I heard word that my parents have passed since I was taken from Tamaran, my home world…"

"…Red Arrow and I are orphans, so we can understand that greatly." Said Nightwing as Terra looked down. "Terra and Raven are more…private with their pasts."

Raven nods as she looks at the school and frowns as she saw a shadowy mass starting to creep out. "They are coming…" Roy noticed this…but then got an idea.

"Nightwing, I say we gotta hook up to the fire alarm system here…" said Roy as Virgil looked at his hands and nods.

"I got this…" he said as he flicks his wrist, as a jolt of lightning came out…but suddenly caused the school to shut down, as the others just stared at this. "…CRAP!" Richie came up next, as he saw the lights turn back on.

"OK, lets see if I can…I can hear this weird…buzzing from tech, so maybe if I concentrate…" Richie gripped his head as he saw the shadows coming out as his eyes flashed blue.

Suddenly there was a loud siren sound, as people came out in panics as the group saw Martin walk out with Teresa and Carmen. "ah crap…lets get out of here." Said Roy as Nightwing nods while Raven looked at the two teens with them.

"Where should we go?" asked raven as Icon frowns as he saw a teenage girl look at him and nod, as he nods back.

"I'll keep them busy. Get these boys to safety." Icon said as his fists glowed with energy before flying out towards the three.

Raven looked at the two as Virgil says, "Take me to my house," while Raven's eyes flashed white as she peered into his mind…before nodding.

"Azarath…Metrion…ZENTHOS!" Said Raven as the group vanished in a burst of darkness.

Martin saw this and scowled a bit, as he says, "They're leaving. Lets go after them."

"No…not yet." Said a shadowy figure as Ebon came out with Shiv and boom came out as the police came in.

"FREEZE!" said the cops as they pointed their guns at the group, as Ebon glared at this.

Ebon turned to Bryan and says, "Boom, blow their minds." Boom smirked at this as he walked up, getting his amp out. Suddenly a sonic burst came out of the amp, as he smirks.

"That canary chick got nothin' on me!" said Boom as a sudden explosion of sound came out, shattering the concrete under the cars and the windows. He smirked at this, crossing his arms as the amp vibrated faintly.

(Hawkins household. 13:21)

A shadowy figure appeared as a young woman with a ponytail walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge before closing it, as she waves to her left. "Hi Virgil." She said…before she stopped and turned to see Virgil with the Titans and Richie. "Virgil!?"

"Hey Sharon." Virgil said with a wave. "Uh…have you met the Titans? You know, big name heroes from jump city?"

"Yeah…why are they in our kitchen?" Sharon asked, as they looked at each other.

"…Brunch?" Virgil said with a nervous grin, as Richie face palmed at that.

"Uh-huh…" said Sharon as Starfire waved with a smile.

"Greetings, Miss Sharon." She said as Raven groaned a bit, while Terra just gave a nervous wave. Another man entered at this with the officer who saved him, Trina. The man in question was a tall, African-American man with a short goatee, a pair of glasses and a button up shirt and a pair of black khakis.

The man did a double take at this, and looks right at Virgil. "Virgil? Uh, why are the Titans-"

"Been through that." Nightwing explained as he looks at the man. "Robert Hawkins, I presume? I heard about you, a man who wants to help fix Dakota City's crime problem with helping the youth in it become better people. You do good work. We need people like you in Bludhaven."

"Uh…thanks…now can someone tell me what's going on." Said Robert as Beast Boy just turns on the TV to answer that question.

"This is G. Gordan Godfey here in Dakota City, where we see more of these meta-human delinquents are attacking the downtown area.' Said the red-haired reporter who bugged Aquaman a few days ago. Behind him was the Meta-breed attacking the downtown area.

"What in the world is going on there? Wait…isn't that Bryan O'conner, Miranda's older brother?" Robert asked, looking at Virgil and Richie.

"That event at the docks turned them into meta-humans. Heck, a lot of the people who actually died became mutants, but their bodies couldn't take the change." Nightwing explained.

"yeah, not everyone's got the genes to take on super powers." Beast boy said iwht a frown. "Anyway, they wanted to get your kid and his pal."

"now why on earth would they be wanting to attack Virgil and Richie? They never did anything to them…did you?" Robert asked, as Trina went wide eyed.

"listen, we gotta help Icon and Rocket contain those meta-humans. We'll be back, promise." Said Nightwing as Raven allowed the six heroes to vanish, as Richie looked at Trina, who looked at them with concern.

"Wait…if they got powers, does that mean…Virgil, Richie, did the gas change you two as well?" she asked, crossing her arms.

"What are you talking about, Trina?" Asked Sharon, as Trina sighed.

"Remember a few weeks ago when I brought Richie and Virgil to the hospital from the docks? There was an explosion of a strange mist that covered that area. It diluted, but everyone who was caught in the mist right after the explosion had these…mutations happen to him or her. Most were fatal, but some of the people survived with mutations. But since Virgil and Richie had no outer mutations, they were set out early. Remember?"

"Yeah…I remember. So you're saying that they ARE mutants?" asked Robert, surprised as Virgil and Richie looked at each other and sighed.

"Look…how about we tell them what's been happening since we got back?" virgil asked his friend, as Richie nods in agreement. "Pops, Trina, Sharon…we gotta talk. Like, now." The three looked at each other and nod as they sat down to listen.

(Back Downtown. 13:28)

Ebon yells out as he tosses a police car at a group of cops, who run out of the way as Shiv yells out "SCORE!" as he gave an excited laugh as he turned his hand into a blade as he jumps over to a near by officer.

"Back off, junior. Don't make me hurt you." The cop said as Shiv only smirked at this.

"Funny…I was thinking of HURTING YOU!" Shiv said, raising his arm up to slice him, but then a bird-shaped projectile hits him in the back of the head. "OW!' He then glares as he saw the weapon. "What the heck?"

"You know, you are REALLY doing well with your Joker impersonation. Add some green hair and bad make up, and I'd say you're related." Said a voice from above as they saw Nightwing glaring down at them as he yells, "TITANS GO!" as Raven formed, creating a pulse of darkness as she flew at Ebon as a green Rhinoceros charged at Carmen, making him yell out as he was hit.

Boom looked around in shock as Talon yells out as Starfire tackled her in the air, while Boom is hit by a floating piece of rubble ala Terra. Nightwing smirked as he jumps and sends a kick at Shiv, who grunts at this. "Guess it's time to carve this bird."

Ebon grunts at a telekinetic blast while Hotstreak powers up a fireball to hit her with, but then a few arrows came down from above, making him yell out from icy hits from them. He glares upward at Red Arrow, who just smirks. "Why you little-!" Hotstreak then yells out as he fires a blast of flames, as Red Arrow ducks from one as one of the blasts hit's his hood.

"Whoa!" He said as he took off his jacket and stomps it out. "Sheesh…and here I thought that Sun-themed nut was a hot head." He then reequipped his quiver as Hotstreak shoots himself up via fire-pulses.

"Heh, what do you ya know…I guess those science classes had SOME uses after all. Now lets see…how much heat you can handle, Speedy!" He laughs as he fires more flames at him as the archer went to move.

Ebon yells out as he was sent back by a telekinetic blast as Talon flew after Starfire, dodging energy attacks…as Ebon got an idea. "Team, switch dance partners!"

Talon heard that and smirked as she ducked as Boom aimed his speaker at Starfire, making her yell out in pain from the sudden sound hitting her ears as Hotstreak looked at Terra and smirked as he fired up and charged at him.

"Hey, get back here!" said Roy as he aimed his arrows and fired, but it only got caught on Ebon's shadowy form, making him yell out as he was sucked in by the endless darkness.

Nightwing looked around as he yells out and gets hit by Carmen Dillo in his ball form as Shiv jumped at Beast Boy as Talon sent a sonic scream at Raven, making her cringe as she glares at the bird girl as she was forced down as Shiv sends out energy spheres, which explodes on contact at Beast Boy, who makes him yell out as he was sent back.

"Beast Boy!" Terra called out in shock as she yells out as she was sent back from the force of an explosive fireball, as Hotstreak smirked at this as Terra groaned a bit, rubbing her head as the shadowy form came over her.

"lets move this fight, shall we?" asked Talon with a smirk as she tackled into Raven as she uses her clawed feet to keep her down as the shadowy form came over the Meta-breed and the Titans.

Godfey saw this as he says, "Well, you just saw that here, folks…the Meta-Breed has captured the Titans…and it seems they'll be continuing the fight elsewhere, so we'll be on the move to find them and see how this end."

(Back at Virgil's house. 14:10)

After Virgil and Richie explained the situation, the family just looks in shock at this as they saw what just happened. "So wait…Ebon is actually Ivan Evans, Adam's brother?" Sharon asked, surprised.

"Eyep…and it looks like those guys are gonna be a problem…" Richie said with a scowl…but then got an idea as he got Backpack off as he opens the top to reveal a laptop-like device.

"…Richie, what the heck are you doing?" asked Virgil, confused.

"I'm tracking them down. Those guys have to have a signal for their communicators, since they would need a specific frequency." Richie said as Sharon rolled her eyes.

"oh right, like you can find that." Sharon said as Richie smirked a bit.

"Just did. Looks like they're…at the park?" asked Richie, confused. Virgil frowned as he went to the stairs. "Uh…V? What are you doing?"

"What does it look like? I'm gonna go help." Virgil said before his father grabbed his arm.

"Oh no you don't, young man." Said Robert, a stern look on his face. "If you think I'll let you go out there, you're insane."

Virgil sighed as he says, "Dad, they're after me and Richie. They'll likely rip this town apart to get us after they're done with the Titans." He sighs and says, "Look. I got powers too remember? I think I can at least help them even things out since I got them in this mess."

Robert just frowned at this as Richie says, "Listen Mr. Hawkins, from what I heard, most events like this usually turn out OK." He was given a look at this, as he quickly adds, "Of course…I can understand why you would be worried," with a nervous look.

"But what if someone recognize him?" asked Sharon, crossing her arms, as Virgil got an idea as he saw a pair of yellow-tinted sunglasses as he smirked.

"Don't you read comics, Sharon? All heroes have a secret identity." Said Virgil with a smirk as he took the glasses and runs upstairs. "And I got just the look to work with." The others looked at each other with confusion at this, as they went to look at the news as they saw that they had found the Titans before a power surge came into the house as Robert and Sharon looked outside to see a figure coming out of their house, riding on what looked like a glowing lid of some kind.

"Be careful, son…" Robert said with a sigh, as Trina put a comforting hand on both of their shoulders, giving them a worried look.

(Dakota City Public Park. 14:23)

"This is G. Gordan Godfey at the sight of the now resumed battle between the Titans and the Meta-Breed…we came across this sight after witnesses said they saw them here. And by the looks of it, these delinquents are causing untold amount of damage."

Terra grunted as she was sent into a wall by Boom, who smirked as Roy aimed his arrow at Hot Streak as Talon slashed through the arrows as she growls, smirking a bit.

"The Meta-Breed shall consume this city from the inside..." Ebon said as he fought against Raven, who growled against him.

"You are a heretic, you know that?" Raven asked with a scowl as she kicked the shadowy being away as he went back to his normal form, chuckling darkly at this. "I will not allow you to cause harm as long as I am here." She powered up a shadowy force at this as the two continued to trade blows.

"HAAHAHA! THIS IS FUN!" Shiv laughed as he slashed at Nightwing, who dodged each slash as Beast Boy, in the form of a dark green wolf, fought against a Carmen Dillo, who laughed as his teeth hit the armored skin of the humanoid armadillo as Beast Boy let go as he changed back to normal, rubbing his now sore jaw.

"So...you want to play hard ball, eh armor-boy?" Beast boy asked, as his fingernails grew out a bit. "Then how about we try this!" He got on all fours as he ran at him, turning into a large Triceratops, roaring out as Carmen quickly rolled into a ball and rolled right at him, the two colliding as the two growled at each other.

Boom was about to power up a sonic attack but Starfire flew down and punched him, as she says, "Stay away from her, brute."

"I'll show you brute." Boom said with a glare as the streetlights near them began to flash a bit.

Terra got up as she glares deeply at Hotstreak, who smirked as his hands glowed with fire. "Bring it..." said Hotstreak as he fired a large stream of fire at her, but Terra quickly made a wall of stone to block it. "Face it, sister...the Titans can't beat us!" Terra growled a bit, but noticed her hair began to move up faintly as something came into the air

"Then how about some new talent?" asked a voice as a blast of electric energy flew down and hits Hotstreak, making him yell out as he was sent back from the attack, with a questioned look of "Who did that?" on his face as he got up, growling. Everyone looked up to see, to everyone's shock, a familiar dark skinned young man

"Hawkins?" Ebon asked, shocked to see him as he floated down with a Manhole cover under his feet. Virgil was clad in a black and blue jacket, a black T-shirt with a white stylized lightning bolt inside of a circle, yellow tinted sunglasses over his eyes over his eyes and a cap on his head and a pair of black pants and boots with fingerless gloves.

"Call me 'Static', chump." Static smirked as he flew over and says "And now...how about I shed some LIGHT on this situation!" He then sends a blast of electricity at a couple of lampposts near him as they glowed brightly from the energy charge as Ebon yelled out, angered at this.

Godfey looked in shock at this as he heard a whisper from his cameraman. "What do you mean the equipment went out? Fix it already!" The man nods as he went to the van to fix up the signal.

Nightwing, thankful for the distraction, kicked Shiv away as he grunts. "Playtime's over." as Beast Boy changed into a large, ape-like beast as he threw Carmen into Shiv, making the two yell out.

"And he's OUT of there!" said Beast boy with a smirk as Terra looked with shock at Static, who smirked at Ebon, who growled faintly at them as Talon flew away from Roy, who smirked as he aimed his arrows at them as Terra made a few stones fly out of the ground around her as Raven's eyes glowed pitch white.

"I take it you guys needed my help?" Static asked with a smirk, with a few nods as an answer.

"Alright Titans, lets do this." Nightwing said as Static smirks, as Nightwing gave him a nod. "I know you want to say it, so go ahead."

"Thanks NW. Alright…" the electric hero smirked as he took a breath. "Titans, GO!" Static called as the six heroes ran at the five villains, who stood at the ready for this battle.
