Earthshaking War Part 2

(Jet on route to Markovia. March 20th, 22:30 (USA time))

Cheshire and General Lane were at the pilot and co-pilot seats as the League and Titans sat with some people dressed in black and gray military garb with Checkmate symbols on their shoulders. In the back, Michael Holt was working with Richie, who was being fitted with a special armor.

"So…who do we have to worry about?" Alchimia asked, leaning back a bit as he saw Vera walk over and sat down and showed some files.

"These are some members of interest.' Vera said as she set the files down as Wonder Woman recognized some of them.

"Wait…Jinx? Mammoth? Shimmer? Gizmo? Aren't they affiliated with the Church of Blood?" Wonder Woman asked, picking up Jinx's file.

"They are…for the HIVE. They are mercenaries first and foremost. They are only affiliated due to Jinx's connections to the mysterious entity known as Trigon." Michael explained as Batman perked up.

"What do you mean?" Batman asked as Raven sighs. Everyone looked at her as she looks up.

"She is my half-sister. From what I found out, she is the daughter of a Biyalian woman and Trigon, who disguised himself as her husband. She got a specific type of magic as I have…I got empathy and mental spells while she has gotten hex magic, allowing her to control probability." Raven explained.

'So that's how he does it?" Katana asked, looking at Nightwing curiously as Nightwing nods.

"So…whom else should we worry about?" Batman asked as Terra put a hand up.

"I know enough about the HIVE to know what we're up against. First of all…the rest of you need to know about Psimon." Tara said as Static looked up.

"Psimon?" Asked static, confused as Tara got out a file.

"A powerful telepath from Biyalia. He used to be a scientist named Simon Jones before he got empowered by Trigon…so he's another link to the Church of Blood for HIVE." Tara explained as she shows a picture of the man for everyone to see.

"Yeesh." Supergirl cringed at the sight; it was a very pale man with a large cranium…that was see-through, so you could see his brain under something that looked similar to glass, and a noticeable cloak around himself. "That guy makes Parasite look like Orlando Bloom…"

"Hai, he is…well…Kimochi warui." Katana said, equally disturbed at the sight of his exposed brain.

"Yeah, I know he ain't exactly handsome…but he's the least of our worries with this guy." Tara said, getting a file that read, 'WILSON, SLADE'. "Deathstroke the Terminator. He's with the League of Shadows as well, but was hired by the HIVE after his son died." Batman saw the picture on the front and frowned; it showed a middle-aged man with gray hair that was in a ponytail and his right eye that was covered with an eye patch.

Superman looked at the picture as he looked outside, unaware of General Lane glaring at him from the mirror as Raven looked at the older soldier, a look of distrust on her face. 'What is wrong, Raven?' Martian Manhunter asked in her mind as Raven looked towards him.

'My empathy shows there is little to trust of General Lane.' Raven told him as J'onn nods as Cheshire noticed something.

"We got company, two enemy jets flying behind us." Cheshire said, showing the scenes. Superman looked at the back and narrowed his eyes, as he saw through the metal and nods.

"Biyalian…with the HIVE symbol…guess they found out about us." Sueprman said as Martian Manhunter stood up.

"I can deal with this." He said calmly as Richie put a hand up.

"Wait…let me help." Richie said as he put on a helmet with a green visor that showed his face before pressing a button before the glass began to become more tinted, shrouding his face.

"You sure, Rich?" Virgil asked as Richie nods as he nods to Cheshire, who nods.

"Everyone buckle up." Said Cheshire as everyone buckled up as the humans in the room put on breathing masks as they gave a nod. Richie nods back as he opens the door as he looks outside at the jets. He looks at the boots he now wore, which had a pair of jets on the sides as he gave a nod to Michael, who nods back.

"OK…lets do this." Richie said as he flew out via the boots, J'onn following suit as the door was shut behind them.

"make them eject, I'll reroute this." Said J'onn as Richie nods as he put his hands out, his eyes glowing blue as the jets suddenly popped open, making the pilots yell as they were suddenly out and parachuting out of their jets.

"You're good, Double M." said Richie as J'onn gave him an odd look. "What? I can't really think of a good nickname with 'Martian Manhunter', now can I?" J'onn sighed as he concentrated, his eyes glowing as he clenched his fists, making the jets explode in midair.

"The threat is neutralized and the pilots are heading down…and to make sure they do not intervene…" he concentrated as the men going down began to groan as they felt a buzz in their heads.

"What did you do?" asked Richie, confused as he saw Backpack look at the area, analyzing anything that could be near by.

"I changed their memories of what has occurred here so they cannot tell their superiors where we are." The Martian explained as he flew back, followed by Richie as Richie gave a nod into the windows, as Cheshire smirked back as the jet flew on, the two following.

(Meanwhile…)

(HIVE underground HQ. Markovburg, Markovia. 23:34)

In a bunker that was underground, a group of people was around a large screen. In the middle was Slade Wilson himself, wearing a dark orange and black armor with a mask near by, a katana on his back. Next to him was Psimon, as the two were in front of three images; one was a woman shrouded in shadows, and the other two were Sebastian Blood and Ra's al Ghul. Behind them were Jinx, Mammoth, Gizmo and Shimmer.

"So, you have arrived in time, you two?" Ra's asked, looking at the group calmly.

"Yes, Master al Ghul. We had the aid of our inside man to let us in." Slade said calmly, looking up at this.

"And what of Geo-Force?" The woman asked calmly as Psimon looked up with a small smirk.

"Arthur was able to disable him, isn't that right, Doctor?" Psimon asked as someone walked out of the shadows, a smirk on his face. The man in question wore a black armor with a white star insignia, a helmet with a light blue visor over his eyes, and white gloves and boots with a flowing white cape.

"Of course. All it took was some illusion and a carefully aimed blast of energy that can disrupt his energy. And of course…nothing is faster than light." The man, known as Arthur Light, whom smirked as he stood among them.

"And to think, you were once a wannabe doctor within CADMUS who was always overshadowed by others, even when you became a villain." The woman said with a chuckle, as Jinx frowned as she listened to this.

"Man…we got da short end of the stick here." Mammoth growled as he looks at Arthur being praised. "They're treatin' that flashlight like he's the best thing since the Joker…da guy's been a wimp since day one."

"Until that new guy showed up…he's been supplying the HIVE and League of Shadows with upgrades…from those monsters and also resources to give power ups by messing with their genes." Gizmo said, looking at Light with a frown as well.

"All that takes is…an understanding of biology, my dear," said a wheezing voice as many people turned to a figure in the shadows, which stayed near the back by a large machine.

"Ah, Creator." A female said as the shadowed woman walked forward, revealing it was Malika, Vertigo's fiancée, clad in yellow and black robes. "Have you created your new weapon?"

"You hired me…for my chimera research…so I'm here to show you one of my most asked for use of Animal DNA." He nods to someone, as a machine was revealed as five people walked up. "These five here will be the subjects of my example…" as he pressed some buttons, as the group looked curiously as the five people; two of which were familiar faces, one was Silver Monkey and the other was Copperhead, one of Bane's associates.

The female smirked as she looked at Silver Monkey, who nods. The other three were as followed: A Biyalian man with short graying hair and a large build, a young man with a short goatee and shaggy orange-brown hair and wearing a simple white shirt and jeans, and a caucaisn man dressed in a simple black shirt and pants combo.

"These are the subjects: The League of assassin members Silver Monkey and Copperhead, Amon of the Queen Bee's court, Edward Dawson, a hired gun, and Roderick Rose. Now…to give them their powers…" he said as a screen formed over each of the pods showing the animals they will be mixed with: A gorilla, a Copperhead, an Elephant, a Lion and a hellgrammite insect.

Suddenly a familiar violet mist began to seep in as it had a lace of an odd chemical. The five began to groan as they felt the effects kick in as they all yell out as they felt the chemicals mutating them.

Jinx and the other Hive Five watched as Queen Bee, Sebastian and Ra's looked with interest, as Psimon and Deathstroke kept a stoic face as the screams continued before several bellows are heard, including an elephant trumpeting and a lion's roar among them.

Suddenly the machines opened up as five different growls are heard as Silver Monkey walked out first, now appearing to be a 8-foot tall behemoth with silver hair and his armor broken in many places, making him appear more feral as his mask fell to the ground, revealing his now ape-like head.

Copperhead came out next. Her skin was now more like scales, her eyes were silted like a serpent's, her fingernails were now more like claws, as were her toenails and she also grew out a tail, hissing a bit to reveal a forked tongue.

Next came out Amon, who was now a 8 foot tall humanoid Elephant with dark gray skin, thick tusks coming out of his maw and now a elephant-like head and feet with thick hands and a muscular build as he trumpeted loudly. Followed by Edward, who was now a muscular humanoid lion with the same fur coloring as his hair with some fur taking the form of his goatee and also a tail, with his pants all that remained of his original clothing.

Then finally Roderick came out, showing he was now a horrific being that looked like a large, humanoid insect with thick mandibles near his mouth, razor-sharp claws and a thick, dark green exoskeleton.

"Silverback, Copperhead, Elephant Man, Lion-Mane and Hellgrammite…five of my newest human chimeras." The Creator said with joy as the newly dubbed Silverback growled a bit, cracking his neck as Jinx looked disturbed.

"OK, am I the ONLY one who finds this disturbing?" Jinx asked, annoyed as Sebastian frowned.

"Know your place, child." Creator pointed out calmly as Copperhead hissed a bit, annoyed.

"Watch it, chhhika. " Copperhead hissed, glaring darkly at Jinx. "You do not want to anger a serpent." As Lion-Mane snarled a bit, as Hellgrammite glared darkly at this as well with his now large eyes.

"Listen, why do you need to use people like a wanna-be army? Seriously, am I the only one here who has ANY form of common sense?!" Jinx asked, pointing to them. "Why would you let people who are loyal to you allow themselves to be put into something that is likely irreversible."

Ra's al Ghul frowned as he says, "I guess it shows how disloyal are you are, my dear." Psimon just chuckled at this as Jinx glared, her hands starting to spark with magic.

"Jinx, calm down." Shimmer chastised as Jinx glared at her teammates.

"And how can YOU guys be OK with this?!" Jinx asked, looking annoyed as Mammoth scowled.

"Hey, it's not like you had any problems before. Remember all of the stuff we did for the Church of Blood or what we all did before?" Mammoth asked, as Jinx nods.

"Yes, I do. But we never turned people into something out of some Sci-fi franchise!" Jinx said, pointing towards the now-monsterous creatures. "Hell, we rarely EVER did anything outside of things that went with my dad or taking out people who were a threat, not trying to make World War III."

Psimon chuckled as he says, "it seems young Nicole has gone soft, Sebastian…and could prove to be a problem…do you all agree?" Some of the HIVE agents began to nod, some muttering in Biyalian.

Deathstroke nods as he glares at Jinx as he walks over to the young girl, as Jinx glared darkly at this. "Just so you know…I will do anything for a mission…and that includes getting rid of any problem…and sadly, you have made yourself one." He then aimed a gun as Jinx got ready…before she cried out in pain as she felt her head get assaulted as Psimon looked at her, his eyes glowing a shade of orange as Jinx gripped her mind in pain.

Deathstroke saw this chance and fired, making Jinx go wide eyed in shock as she fell backwards, as Deathstroke looked down at the downed mystic as Sebastian says, "And to think…her father had such high hopes. Ah well…remove her." The HIVE agents nod as two took her away, a faint groan escaping as blood continued to flow.

Psimon looked at the Fearsome Five members as Light watched with some shock as the telepath says, "IT appears you need a new leader…so I shall take over that role if Sebastian and the Queen doesn't mind."

"Go ahead, Psimon…but do not forget the mission." Said Queen Bee calmly, a faint smirk on her face. "And also…a bit of a request."

"And what's that?" Psimon asked, curious as Malika smirked.

"If that Justice League does get involved…do study them for me. I want a full report on anything you can find." Queen Bee said calmly, her smirk growing a bit as Psimon, Creator and the other agents nod in agreement as Deathstroke nods.

"Now…with Geo-Force healing…let us attack before any outside annoyances arrive." Deathstroke said calmly, leading the group ahead as the screens turned off.

(back in Biyalia…)

(Al-Qawiya, Biyalia. March 21st, 00:01)

Queen Bee smirked as she sat down in her throne, which was seated in a large, light yellow and black room as she smirked before she got out a cell phone and dialed a number. "It's all going according to plan, my dear."

"Good…soon we will be one step closer to our goal. Keep up the good work, Malika." Said a male voice as Malika just smirked before she nods and hangs up before standing up, a flowing, orange cape that looked similar to an insect's wings, draped over her shoulder as she looked on, a dark smirk on her face as she chuckled.

Outside of the window was a large assortment of helicoptors and troops moving out, her own private army at the wake and ready to attack at any time.

And that's the end of part 2. And yes, I know what you're thinking: We know who this Queen Bee person is (Malika) but the heroes don't. Sorry if this bugs any of you, but I got the idea from Young Justice and the fact that they didn't know who was in the Light.
