Earthshaking War Part 5

(Markovburg, Markovia. March 21st, 12:45.)

Geo-Force continued to grunt as he pushed back against the falling ships, the destruction below clear; the buildings that were hit were collapsed and in ruin, with fire and debris in the areas around them.

In one of the areas, some rubble moved as Static groaned, getting back up as he rubs his head, coughing a bit as he staggers up. "Hey! Everyone all right?" asked Static as Gear groaned as he helped up King Gregor, as Vera got up as well.

"aye…ow…" Vera groaned as Jinx got up, staggering a bit from the initial hit. "I'm just lucky that your shield protected us as well as it did…"

Static nods as he looks and saw that HIVE agents were heading in, ones that weren't being distracted by the heroes that is. "Ah great…" Said Static as he whipped his hand out and got out a disc. "Gear, get the king to safety."

"Gotcha, V.' said Gear as he got Gregor and lead him along, as Static looked at Jinx and Vera.

"Come on, gals. Lets take these freaks!" Said Static as he flew forward on his hover board as Jinx looked unsure.

"Why are you asking for my help? I used to work with them…' said Jinx, as Vera frowns as her robotic arms turned into large blasters.

"Either help us or I blast ya, girly. Take ya pick." Vera said as she ran forward, firing energy out at the warriors as Jinx nods, sending out pink bolts of energy to aid them as Static fired down energy, while Gear activated his communicator.

"This is gear to all available signals! We are in a lot of trouble here! I repeat, BIG problem in Markovburg! Kamikaze and everything! Anyone who gets this, we need help, Now!" said Gear as he ducks from gunfire as he got Gregor behind some wall as he saw Mr. Terrific get out of some rubble, groaning a bit as he went over to them.

"You alright?" He asked as Gear nods. "Good…you better activate the weapon systems I put into your armor." Gear nods as he concentrated as a laser cannon formed as he fired out pulses of energy at the goons that were coming in as robotic orbs flew around him as they fired red energy down at them.

Wonder Woman slammed her head backwards at Copperhead as she shoved her off and flew forward, but Copperhead hissed in anger as she slashed at her, but Wonder Woman blocked with her bracelets, grunting at the sudden strike.

Superman grunts as he punched Elephant man away as Beast Boy turned into a green, worm-like creature that created a slime-like substance to get out of Silverback's hand as he turned into his normal form, growling at the man in front of him, unaware of a green glow coming from above as the sound of vibrations in the air filled the sky.

"What the…?" asked one of the Markovian soldiers as he looks to the sky as lighting came down, striking several monsters down from the sky as a sudden whirlwind filled the area, sending several monsters flying away.

"Konichiwa, friends…" said a voice as several Biyalian soldiers turned to see Samurai glaring at them, a flow of wind around him as he says, "Now…arigato." As he sent out a burst of wind with a slash of his blade, making them yell out in shock.

A monster roared as it was about to pounce on Starfire, but suddenly a tiger-like roar is heard as Tawny flew down, slashing through it's neck with his sabers, roaring out in anger as Captain Marvel flew in, slugging another monster in the face. "Need a hand?" He asked, giving Starfire a friendly smile.

"Yes, thank you, Captain." Said Starfire as her eyes glowed bright green as she flew forward, followed by Captain Marvel.

Several ships were blasted as a green glow went around them to make sure no one died as Superman used his super speed to help Geo-Force as he used his powers, with Terra fired rocks at the ships to help send them away as Geo-Force continued to keep them at bay.

Terra panted a bit, sweat forming as she put her hand on her chest, as she began to breath quickly.

Beast Boy saw this and growled when he saw one of the thugs coming to hurt her, but a red blur came in and knocked it out, showing it was flash as he smirked, with Kid Flash coming in next with his own smirk.

"mind if we crash the party!" said a voice as Troia flew in as Bushido jumped down, his sword out as he slashed down at a monster's neck and slashed through it, making it fall down as he glares upward.

Manhunter grunts as he pushes against Psimon's powers, as Beast Boy looked at Terra as he gets out his communicator. "Raven, we need you here! Now! We got a problem with Terra! She's starting to freak out again!"

(At the army base. 13:34)

"Kind of busy at the moment, Gar!" raven said as she pushed against a monster as Alchimia saw the Creator flying away on a large, reptilian Condor with what looked like a serpent head as it flew out of the base.

"Coward…" Alchimia said as he slammed his fists down, creating a shockwave as rock spikes flew up and into the monsters that were coming over as Chehsire kicked a HIVE agent away.

"There are too many of these things!" Said Star Sapphire as she froze several of the creatures in crystals, as the ground suddenly began to glow red.

Batman grunts as he continues to push against deathstroke's blade as he kicked him off, making the older man go back a bit as he glares at Batman. Batman then ran over as Deathstroke blocked. "I know all of your techniques, Wayne…" He whispered as he glared at him with his good eye. "We had the same teacher, do not forget." He then kicked him away as Batman grunts.

" At least I followed our sensei's word…YOU allowed Bane to kill him…" Batman said with a glare. "And you and everyone else sullies his teachings with what you are doing."

"Ever the noble man, Wayne…and that will be your downfall." Deathstroke said as he felt the base shake a bit. "The hell?"

"Exactly." Batman smirked as Nightwing looked down as the ground suddenly sent a giant inferno into the air as Etrigan appeared, roaring out with three others: Zatanna, a blue skinned humanoid demon with a black and blue cop uniform and an odd-looking trident, and a blonde haired man dressed in a trench coat with a cigarette in his mouth.

Etrigan roared out, glaring daggers at all of the people around him as he snarled deeply, as he says, "raven…you are needed elsewhere…I can sense the aura of your friend."

"We'll help drive them off, love. You help your friend." Said the man in the trench coat, known as John Constantine, as Blue Devil fired a blast of energy out of his trident.

"What are you talking about, you two?" Devil asked, as Cyborg fired blasts from his arm cannon.

"B made a call about Terra. Her powers is more focused than Geo-Force. Unlike him, she's primarily focused ON the Earth…her powers get out of control if her emotions start to flare up. SO that means we better get out of here before this mountain goes." Said Cyborg.

"She can do that?" Mason asked, as he slammed a grunt away, as Cyborg nods his head.

"Yeah…she once took out an ENTIRE group of thugs during one of her 'freak outs'. Raven's mind powers can keep her calm." Roy said as he fired several arrows at the chimeras, making them roar out in pain from the arrows piercing them.

Nightwing heard this as he jumps onto Deathstroke and puts his arm around his neck to try and withstrain him. "Slade, we need to get out of here, now."

"I do not think so, Boy wonder." He said as he slammed his head against the younger hero's face, making him yell out as he was hit in the stomach with his elbow and then kicked back, making him yell out as he was struck down.

"Nightwing!" Said Batman with anger as he glares darkly at Slade as he ran forward, slashing at him with the arm blades on his gauntlets, making Slade yell out.

Raven watched all of this and nods before vanishing off in the form of a raven as Batman says, "Zatanna, get everyone out of here!"

"Right! Enoyreve raeppa edistuo eht esab!" Zatanna commanded, as a mystical ruins came around the area, causing the people in the room to suddenly vanish as they all appeared on the mountain side, making several of them yell out in the sudden change of scenery.

"Bloodyhell, woman! Give a warnin' next time!' Boomerang said in annoyance as he noticed blurs moving around the battle field. "Crikey, da Flash is 'ere?!"

"now he is, yes." Star said as she saw a green blur coming in with a familiar black jet. "And it looks like Green Lantern and your wards are coming, Batman."

"I hope so…" Batman said as he got a comlink established. "Robin, you there?" He asked as eh blocked a man from attacking him and kicked him away.

"Yeah, I'm here, Bats. And we picked up Aquaman and Aqualad." Robin said as the ship dropped down a red and orange blur as water whips suddenly caused the two to crash down, as Batman nods.

"I can see that." He said with a nod as he glares at Deathstroke, as Alchmia slamed his hands down, creating a shockwave to send several of the monsters back.

Raven flew down to the battle field, dodging blasts and sending energy out as she went to Terra, who was still panting. "Tara, are you OK?" Raven asked as Terra looked at her with widen eyes.

"N-no, I'm not…it's crazy out here!" She said, panting still as Raven put a hand on her shoulder.

"Terra, you're hyperventaling…calm down!" Raven said as she was suddenly struck in the back, making her yell out in pain.

"RAVEN!" The Titans yell out in shock as they glared at the source of the attack as Dr. Light began to decend, chuckling darkly as he flew down.

"Well, well…look at what came out into the light…the dark creature herself." Light said with a chuckle as Raven growled, in pain as she whispers something. "Hmm? What was that, dear?"

"Stay…away…from me…' she hissed as Etrigan looked with a curious gaze in that direction, his eyes narrowing a bit.

"What's wrong, child? Afraid of the light?" dr. Light smirked as Psimon, during his battle with Manhunter, noticed this and smirked as his eyes flashed.

'Inner Beast…AWAKEN!' Psimon said as Manhunter looked in horror as the people all backed away in shock as raven roared out in anger as the group only looked in shock as they saw Raven suddenly gain pale orange skin, wild-looking black hair and a second pair of eyes appear where here eyebrows should be, with all four glowing pitch yellow in anger as violet marks appeared on her face as black tendrils came out.

"Wha-what is that!?" Asked Dr. Light in horror as the tendrils flew out, slamming into HIVE agents to send them flying back, making them cry out in pain as Psimon chuckled a bit as he noticed Jinx in the distance suddenly yell out in pain as well.

"Jinx?" Static asked in confusion as Jinx's hair suddenly curved upwards akin to a demon's horns as she gained yellow eyes as well as she yelled out, sending out bolts of energy around her that sent her the people around her flying backwards form the force.

Psimon chuckled at this as he continues this, but yells out as he felt a psychic pulse from Manhunter, who sent him down as Aquaman, who had sent back a few goons, glared at him as well as Kaldur and Kid Flash sent Mammoth away.

Robin glided down with Spoiler close behind on her own glider as Black Canary sent out canary cries at the ships, destroying them.

"We need to calm those kids down!" Wild Cat as Beast Boy ran over to Raven and Terra, as Terra only looked at Raven with shock as the tendrils grabbed Light, making him scream out.

"My suit! What are you doing!? Let me go!" light screamed in fear as he was dragged into the darkness in her cloak. "I surrender! Let me go!"

"What's the matter? Afraid of the dark, mortal?" Raven asked in a demonic tone as he was dragged into the darkness, screaming for mercy as the HIVE agents backed up nervously.

"Raven, stop!" Nightwing called out as the others looked on, shocked at the sight as Raven continued to strike around her, her eyes narrowed darkly at the HIVE agents as she attacked them, slamming a tank away as it exploded from the negative energy that came from the hit.

"Snap out of it, Rae!" Cyborg called out as the other Titans all called out, as Raven gasped as she groaned, her second pair of eyes leaving as she passed out, groaning a bit as her appearance became the same again, as a shivering Dr. Light was in a fetal position, making him jabber on about it being 'so dark and cold' and begging for help.

"…I think she broke the doc." Mammoth said nervously as Superman frowned at this, not liking this at all as he glares down at the group but saw Terra began to hyperventilate again having seen that.

Psimon saw this and frowns as he presses his com link, "My Queen…we have a problem…the blonde girl is about to go critical!"

"Then get out of there!" Queen Bee commanded on the other end as Deathstroke saw this and nods. Psimon then flew forward, as the other Fearsome Five members followed, Mammoth grabbing Light as he went as a groggy Gear flew after them, his Jetpack badly damaged.

"Everyone, retreat!" Deathstroke commanded as he threw a smoke bomb down, as the group groaned a bit at that as they saw the Hive Agents scramble, as Terra screamed out as her body glowed with a yellow aura.

"GAAAAAAAHHHH!" Terra screamed out as she floated in the air, her eyes pitch yellow as the pulse came around her as the mountain behind her, which held the base, suddenly began to crack and fly out, sending the base and all of the rocks around it right at the HIVE and the monsters, making them cry out as they attempted to dodge the flying avalanche.

'everyone, stop those rocks!" Batman said as he threw explosives their way as the others were picked up by fliers as the Flashes sent out tornados their way to snd the rocks flying away as the energy-based fighters all fired out blasts of energy to destroy the stones.

Jinx groaned a bit as she stopped, rubbing her head as she saw Vera near her, pointing her robotic arms at her with a cautious look as Jinx's hair went back down before she passed out from the lack of energy she had from that. "What the bloody hell happened to dese two?" she asked, annoyed.

Terra screamed out, as the rocks continued to fall as geo-Force flew over, as the ships had stopped falling after he smashed the remaining ships together as he flew. "Tara! Tara, calm down!" He said, putting his hands on her shoulders as she looked at him with fear.

"Brion, stay away! I-I can't control this power!" She screamed out, as if in pain as Geo-Force saw the rocks and flicked his wrist, sending a shockwave out as the stones stopped their attack and fell to the ground.

"That's why I am here, sister…you may have left all those years ago…but I can help you now. I promise…that's what an older brother is suppose to do, right? Help his younger sibling when she needs it?" Geo-Force asked as Terra breathing began to weaken as she groaned, passing out as Geo-Force grabbed her and floated down gently as Hal flew down.

"Man…they pack a lot more power than I thought…" hal said as Nightwing nods, looking at them with concern as Robin looked curiously at the knocked out HIVE agents.

"At least we can arrest these guys for terrorism…but what about these three?" Robin asked as he saw Gear flying over with Mr. Terrific, Vera and an outcold Jinx.

"Come on…lets rest up…we been through a lot." Kara said as she looked at all of the destruction around her, a frown on her face.

(Later…)

(Markovian Castle. March 22nd, 12:49)

The group was now in the castle, or what was still up, as the real Dr. Jace was looking over the vitals of the exhausted heroes as they all sighed a bit, Terra without her costume currently and Raven without her cloak, all of the more tired heroes resting as the others stood around, trying to think.

"So…these HIVE guys all teamed up with the Church of Blood's goon squad and Jinx was kicked out along with the clone kid?" Robin asked as Batman nods.

"So…we got more pressing matters to attend to…especially given the circumstances." Arthur said with a sigh as Gregor was looking over a sleeping Terra, Geo-Force next to him, both brothers looking at their sister with concern

"I know for one thing…we need to clean up their mess…and fast." Batman said as they nod. They then began to round up the criminals and get them somewhere safe while others went to clean up the mess.

Cyborg sighed as he moved to the side as a man came in. "My King, we found something your guest may find interest in1' said the man as Gregor looked up.

"Well, do not leave us in suspence, bring it in!" Gregor demanded, annoyed as the man nods as several other soldiers came in, carrying with them a large chunk of ice on a gurney.

"…ice? You want us to look at ice?" Flash asked flatly as Captain Marvel flew over, curious as he whipped the fog off of the front…only to back up in shock at what he saw.

"Uh…guys? Look what's inside of the ice…" captain Marvel said nervously as Cyborg walked over, curious…as his eyes widen.

Inside of the ice, perfectly preserved, was a humanoid machine that was made of a red, metallic alloy with a ripped up cape with a stylized 'T' in a circle on his chest with an arrow pointed downward on his face. "…the Tornado Tyrant…" Cyborg said, after an anyisis as Wildcat, the oldest hero in the room, walked over to look at it.

"Well, I'll be…it IS the Tyrant…" Said wildcat, a frown on his face. "Where did you find this?"

"It was with the stones that fell when Terra sent down the mountain base, sir." One of the soldiers explained as Gregor looked at this curiously.

"So he's been frozen in ice…for over 70 years." Gregor said as Kara looked at him curiously as Cyborg kept analyzing him.

"And htat's not the weird part…" Gear said as he walked over, looking surprised as he says, "He's…still alive." Gear said as he heard something on the turned on TV, as Spoiler motioned them to come over to see.

"After a sudden tragedy struck the northern part of Markovburg, Markovia, many witnesses state that if not for the Justice League and Teen Titan's efforts, along with an unknown group of heroes." The newscaster said as Boomerang, who was in the room, gave a smirk towards the Flash, who just rolled his eyes.

"We are gonna have a talk abut this…" Hal whispered to Star Sapphire, who just smirks.

"I look forward too it…Hal." She said, giving him a wink as Rex just rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"More on that as the story unfolds. In other news, the unification of Vlativa and Biyalia has been finalized. With the marriage of King Werner Vertigo and Malika Harjovti, the country's companionship treaty has been finalized." The newscaster continued, showing an image of Vertigo with Malika, both smiling and wearing ceremonial outfits.

"We in Vlativa believe that Biyalia can help us make the world a better place. After all, if all countries can work together, we can accomplish many things." Vertigo said to a crew of reporters at an interview, as Green Arrow scowled at his image, unsure of what to make of him yet.

"But as you know, there are those who will…be afraid of change. But not I. With the aid of President Harjovti, I wish too help bring forth an age that will be remembered forever." Vertigo said to the camera, a small smile on his face.

(Unknown location. 13:12)

Watching the same newscast, seven people stood in a room: The Calculator, the Creator, Brother Blood, Queen Bee, Ra's al Ghul and a balding man wearing a lab coat looked to this curiously, a seventh man hidden in the shadows.

"I have to say, you are quite good at this." Said Calculator said with a chuckle. "Using your own wedding to make sure you had an alibi…you are quite a genius, sir."

"Brownnosing will not get you anywhere…Calculator." Said the man in the shadows as he walked up, revealing himself to be King Werner Vertigo himself, wearing a different outfit: He was now clad in a green and black aristocratic with a black tie with a swirl symbol on the front, a metallic device connected to both ears and his hair slicked upward, making him look more threatening than before.

"of course, not sir…at least I'm not as bad as Sivana." Calculator said as the other man, Dr. Sivana, just chuckled.

"Agreed…we all have alibis however…and no one would believe the seven of us are connected." Said Sivana as Queen Bee chuckled.

"Which is why this society works so well…we can better coordinate our foes…as we have studied their every move." Said bee as calculator pressed a button, showing various battles the League have been through.

"Eyep…for years, I've studied the batman's techniques…but I'm now able to study them ALL." Calculator said with a chuckle. "And given their…rather predictable skill sets, I have calculated all possible strategies."

"And with our resources, we can easily supply men and weapons to any villain under our alliance." Ra's said as Bee smirked, as Hugo nods in agreement.

"And with my understanding of the human mind, I can make ways to make our enemies suffer greatly…" Sivana smirked as he says, "And my connections to other geniuses can easily supply us with the intellect needed to outwit them."

"Agreed…but now…to make our voices heard…Sebastian, Calculator, if you would." Vertigo said calmly as the two nod as they went to work, creating an image as cameras turned to him.

"Villains of the world…I am Vertigo, the leader of the Secret Society." Vertigo began as his image appeared with a smirk.

(Gotham City)

"I am known to you as the King of Vlativa, king Werner Vertigo. But do not worry, I am not your enemy, in fact…you may call me an ally" Vertigo explained via the message as Joker smirked as he watched this, flicking his knife around as Harley grinned as well.

"in such,, you may call me 'the Count'." He continued on another screen as a pudgy man in a chair watched this on his computer screen, now curious.

"And I got a proposition for you all, villains of the world. And it would be wise to listen carefully" A fiery image of Vertigo said in a dark room as someone sat in the shadows, stroking a cat's fur.

"I'm listening…" said the dark figure, a smirk on his face as his eyes shined yellow.

(Star City)

"I have big plans for this world….so many that I'm sure you all know why most would be interested in this." Vertigo continued as a man with dark red skin watched with a smirk, cracking a few nuts in his hand as he chewed them, as a Asian woman dressed in all white watched curiously.

(Central city. )

"But I am aware many others wish to reap the benefits…and I know I cannot do my takes alone…and as a sane man, I know I cannot rule the world solely by myself…that is where you all come in." Vertigo continued as Flash's enemies, the Rogues, looked with interest at this.

"If any of you are interested, I wish to bring forth any worthy volunteers to help me and my associates in our quest of global conquest." A man in a laboratory watched with interest, a large ape standing by him as one in a cage stood near by, his pitch-white fur noticeable as he growls a bit in interest.

(deep recesses of space)

"I am aware that this sounds ludicress, especially for some of you that are…quite out of range of earth. But I assure you, I believe this alliance will help many of us in our goals." Vertigo said as a fiery image in another area in space, a dark figure on a throne watching this with dark red eyes, now curious of what he was speaking of.

(Jump City)

"Many of us have dealt with heroes, especially those in the Justice League or the Teen Titans…but their time is done." Vertigo continued as a red haired man looked up with interest, twirling his staff at this with a smirk.

"For with our alliance, we can easily…make sure they are out of the equation for good, as one of my associates would say." Vertigo continued on as a dark figure watched the image from a fiery circle, a dark smirk on his face.

(In another dimension)

"All I ask is your support, and we can easily rid this world of these pests and take our rightful place as the leaders of his world." Said Vertigo, as a man cloaked in the shadows looked up, as did other mystics in the area with him, all smirking darkly.

(Metropolis)

"So what says you, villains of this world? Are you in…or out?" Vertigo asked as a bald man sat in his desk, a smirk on his face as he leaned back.

"Where do we begin?" the man asked with a chuckle, amused by this image as he looked outside the window.

(in Washington DC)

A woman who appeared to have the physique of a cheetah stood by a red haired woman as they looked at this image with a smirk, as Vertigo smirked in the image. "I'm assuming many of you wish to partake…It is alright if you do not wish too, but I am assuring you all…there is something in motion…something that will help us take a great victory over these so called 'heroes'." Vertigo said as he chuckled darkly.

(In an unknown lab. 16:45)

The image of Vertigo left the screen in a lab as a man walked into the light of a room, revealing himself to be a hunched man with scars on his skin. "my son…have you finished your lesson?" He asked as he looked at a figure watching various screens. The Figure appeared to be over 6 feet tall and rather muscular with very short black hair, a pair of green pants

"almost, creator…almost." Said the robotic humanoid in a computerized voice, his eyes glowing dark red in the darkness. "Downloading all information…as soon as possible." In front of him was various images of the various super heroes in the Justice League and Teen Titans, with a wire coming from the computers to his head, downloading all of the info of their skills into his mind.

"Good…good…you will be a great asset…" said the man as he left the room, moving by a set of blueprints…with one word seen in the darkness due to the low light; 'AMAZO'
