It was about 3 days after the fiasco with Cilan's pants. And a few newer things have progressed. The friendship between Iris and Raichu was slowly building into a nice and solid one. It was still at that stage where it was still fragile but Iris was taking precautions to avoid setting the electric type off. Another thing that happened was that the attract had finally worn off on Emolga…but the whole ordeal had made her grow a genuine crush on Raichu. So she turned into his number 1 fan. Anyway, Iris and Raichu were back in town exploring to see any new goodies they could grab when Iris spotted something that made her stop;
"Hey check it out, that new awesome movie, 'Dawn of the Planet of the Infernapes' is in theaters."
A/N – Planet of the Apes anybody?
Raichu smiled before he spoke;
"I actually saw the original one. The one that was made like 20 years ago, Movie kicked ass."
Iris smirked at Raichu as she spoke;
"It's starts in about an hour. Wanna see it? Just me and you?"
Raichu narrowed his eyes suspiciously as he spoke;
"What's the catch?"
Iris grinned as she spoke;
"No catch what so ever. It's just a way to spend some time and get to know you. Maybe we can grab some food beforehand."
Raichu grinned as he spoke;
"That actually sounds dope. Ok I'm game."
Iris grinned as she spoke;
"Ok, I'm thinking of grabbing burgers, sounds like a plan?
Raichu grinned at her as he spoke;
"Ok… so wanna have a race to the burger joint? The looser has to buy the snacks at the theater?"
Iris grinned as she agreed to the challenge and both immediately sprinted off.
It was kind of known that Iris would win. Mainly because A, she was taller than Raichu, meaning she had longer legs…and B, The Raichu species were naturally slow in general. Anyway, they both grabbed a few cheeseburgers from a nearby fast food joint and both were sitting on a bench eating. Raichu spoke;
"Ya know, I heard a rumor that this stuff is actually Raichu meat. But I could honestly care less because its soo damn good and I could easily say that I have done worse things than cannibalism."
Iris snorted; mainly because of the fact that this was definitely Miltank meat. And the fact that Raichu probably has done worse things eating his own kind.
They finished up their meals with about 20 minutes to spare and quickly went to the movie theater and bought tickets for the show. Once they entered the building, Iris had to use the restroom and Raichu had to buy the snacks, so they split up to do so.
When Raichu approached the consession stand, a thought struck him.
'Oh shit. I have zero money.'
Well with Raichu being the grand schemer he is, he immediately came up with an awesome plan around that problem.
Iris exited the bathroom and immediately met up with Raichu who was carrying 2 large soda's, a bunch of candy and a giant box of popcorn. Iris then spoke;
"Wait a second…you're a pokemon, meaning you don't have any money. How did you pay for this stuff?"
Raichu grinned a shit eating grin as he spoke;
"Well that's just it. I didn't!"
ABOUT 2 MINUTES EARLIER
Raichu grinned. This was gonna be sweet. He stood in line behind a woman in her early 20's and in front of a man in his late 40s. Raichu grinned evilly before he put his plan into action.
He reached out a hand and rubbed the privet area between the woman's legs.
He quickly pulled his hand back and looked around innocently as the now mortified woman quickly turned around to stare enraged behind her.
Raichu was a pokemon…so that automatically ruled him out as the suspect. It also didn't help that as soon as the woman turned around, the 40 year old man grinned perversely before he said Hi in a husky tone.
The woman's eyes held a flame in them as she pulled back a fist and smashed it into the guys face. As soon as the guy hit the ground, she pinned him down and began to beat the hell out of him. It took all the employees there to pull her off him and in the whole ordeal, Raichu quietly gathered his snacks and drinks and quickly zipped out of there.
FLASHBACK END
Iris was nearly crippled as she was laughing so hard. She was holding onto the wall for dear life as she nearly started crying.
Raichu grinned as he spoke;
"Yeah I know I'm a fucking genius for coming up with something so awesome on the fly."
Iris wiped tears from her eyes as she shook her head with a few giggles and they both went to watch the movie.
LATER
The movie was great and Iris and Raichu were walking out of the theater as Iris spoke;
"Heh, so the lead monkey was a BAMF (Bad Ass Mother Fucker) and he befriended a human…sound familiar?"
Raichu grinned as he realized the irony in that statement. Anyway, the duo continued to talk about the movie until they arrived back at camp. Raichu spoke;
"Hey I gotta go take a leak. I'll talk to you in a bit."
Raichu walked into the woods where he quickly did his business and washed his hands in a nearby stream and on his way back, his path was blocked by Dragonite. Raichu said nothing and went to move around the dragon type when Dragonite grabbed Raichu by the tail and threw him against a tree. The surprise attack winded Raichu and he looked at the dragon type with a scowl before Dragonite spoke;
"Stay away from Iris. You're too dangerous for her to be around you. Nobody even wants you here so why don't you just leave?"
Raichu scowled at Dragonite before he spoke;
"Look pal. I'm not in the mood for a fight currently so use that as your opportunity to piss off before I fucking end you. My brother isn't here to save your ass. So watch it."
With that, Raichu immediately walked past Dragonite and continued walking away. Unfortunately while his back was turned, Dragonite primed a Dragon Rage.
Meanwhile
Iris was talking to Ash and Cilan about her current friendship with Raichu.
"It's working. I'm actually getting somewhere with him. It was tough at first. But now I think I can actually change him for the better."
It was then that an astounding flash went off in the woods. Cilan's eyes widened as he spoke;
"That attack was a Dragon Rage. It came from the woods."
Iris' eyes immediately widened as she realized Raichu was in the woods. Ash, Her and Cilan immediately got up and sprinted for the woods. When they arrived, they saw that Raichu had Dragonite pinned to the ground and was beating the hell out of him. Obviously, since Raichu was involved in the fight…they all kind of figured he started it.
Just as Raichu was about to Punch Dragonite again, Dragonite kicked him off and quickly flew at the electric type. They were both locked in a vicious battle until Raichu used his tail to separate them. Raichu was about to attack again when Iris spoke out enraged;
"RAICHU STOP!"
Raichu scowled before he calmed down and looked at Iris as she spoke;
"Why? I trusted you and this is how you repay me? By attacking Dragonite, who is a friend of mine?"
Raichu's eyes widened in anger before he spoke out;
"Are you Fucking kidding me? You're blaming me for all this?"
Iris scowled before she continued speaking.
"I thought you were my friend Raichu. I truly did. But what you did here proves otherwise. This just proves…that you can't change a soulless monster. That you are incapable to have any remorse or compassion."
Raichu's eyes widened in surprise before they narrowed in rage;
"Fine. If you wanna believe that then go ahead. This just shows me that I was right. You never did care about me. It was all an act. All of it, well fine then! I fucking hope you rot in hell!"
And with that, Raichu stormed off in rage. He leapt into the trees and was soon out of sight from the others. Iris sighed. She was wrong about him. She believed there was some good in him. That if raised right, he could help people instead of hurting them. But she was wrong.
Raichu was far away. He leapt out of the tree and started running as fast as he could go. As he ran, his vision began to get blurry. He wiped his eyes to find water on his hands.
He was crying? He was fucking crying over that liar!"
He scowled but continued running as the painful memories hit him.
They were all mainly about his friendship with Iris. He wouldn't ever admit it, but he was hurt. This is why he doesn't do friends. Because this will inevitably happen! They always turn on you. Always.
Unknown to everyone though, Axew was playing in the woods before the fight had taken place. He had seen what Dragonite had done. He even saw that Raichu tried to avoid the fight more than once. His eyes narrowed angrily. He marched up to the camp and immediately saw everyone tending to Dragonite. That just annoyed him further. He walked up to Pikachu and bit him in the hand. Pikachu let out a yelp before scowling at Axew as the small pokemon spoke;
"I need to talk to you. Now! It's important and you're the only one who can help me."
Pikachu nodded as he and Axew went to talk in privet. When they were alone, Axew spoke;
"You need to go in the woods and go after your brother."
Pikachu immediately scowled and spoke;
"No! You saw what just happened with that idiot! He attacked Dragonite. Who knows who else he will hurt next!"
Axew growled as he spoke;
"Raichu DIDN'T attack Dragonite! It was the other way around!"
Pikachu's eyes widened in surprise before he spoke;
"Wait, are you telling me DRAGONITE started it?"
Axew scowled;
"That's exactly what I'm saying. I was playing in the forest and I saw the entire thing. Raichu tried to avoid a fight TWICE! Dragonite threw Raichu against a tree and Raichu STILL tried to ignore him. But the fight started when Raichu was walking away and Dragonite fired a Dragon Rage at him while his back was turned."
Pikachu's eyes widened in shock, So that's the true story. It really wasn't Raichu's fault then. It was then Pikachu remembered the rest of what happened in the forest and felt a little guilty. They were soo quick to place the blame on Raichu when he was actually the victim. He sighed before he spoke with authority in his voice;
"I want you to tell the Humans EXACTLY what you just told me. Then, I want you to go and rally the flying types to search in the air over the woods. That can speed up the search a bit. I'll search on foot. If we hurry, we might still be able to find him."
Axew nodded before he turned and headed towards the humans while Pikachu made a sharp turn towards the woods and scurried towards it. He needed to find Raichu now. His brother was enraged and hurt. With Raichu, that's a deadly combo. It's only a matter of time before he plans retaliation and gets someone killed.
