Yellow walked through the Forest of Time (the location of Yellow's house) and hopped the fence into Pallet Town. His friends were waiting for him there. "Where have you been, Yellow?", asked Green, "We've been waiting forever for you to get here!". "It's only been five minutes, Green.", said Blue, "You've got to be more patient.". "Anyway, I found a lead on a rare Pokemon we could capture!", said Green, "It's a Red Gyarados! Blue says it's called a 'Shady Pokemon' or something.". "'SHINY Pokemon', not 'Shady Pokemon'.", said Blue.
"My mom told me all about shiny Pokemon!", said Yellow, "She even saw a shiny Celebi once!". "Wow, your mom is the coolest!", said Green, "But back on topic, this shiny Gyarados is in another region. I think it's called 'Janto' or something.". "It's actually called 'Johto', not 'Janto'.", said Blue, "It's connected to Kanto, so we could walk there!". "Or better yet, we could ride the bikes I stole!", said Green, "It will be much quicker!". "Green, why must you steal everything you want?", asked Blue. "Because it's much more fun and exciting!", responded Green, "Plus, it lets me to get stuff I couldn't get!". "Well, I suppose as long as we have them, we might as well use them.", said Blue, "You coming too, Yellow?". "You bet!", said Yellow.
The three hopped onto the bikes and rode off towards Johto.
