Chapter 12
Stories of Old
When Megatron laid his optics on the 'rejuvenated' Laserbeak's tiny new form he glitched and fell over…
Thankfully no one else was around to see it…
But everyone was more than a little stunned to see a sparkling on board the warship especially since not everyone was informed that this newcomer was in fact still Laserbeak. Not that Song was interested in telling anyone, her servos were kept busy since Soundwave asked her to watch his now baby daughter while he was busy with his duties. Songbird could tell that he really wanted to spend some time with his child, but things had a habit of falling apart whenever the Third in Command left his post for even ten minutes… Nonetheless she was only too happy to watch the little one; but at the same time she had overlooked one big unforeseen problem…
Laserbeak's best friend…
Songbird's daughter Moonrise…
At first Moony had been surprised at Laserbeak's transformation but then she became saddened when she realized that her friend had lost all of her memories and would not remember her or that they were ever friends to begin with. But after a moment of tears welling in her eyes she looked up at her mother and smiled. "At least she isn't sick anymore." The child had said sadly. "And it doesn't matter if she doesn't remember me. I'll always be her friend, no matter what!" Songbird was unable to describe just how proud she was of Moonrise at that moment… still it did little to actually make Moonrise feel better and Songbird knew this. But now being in charge of caring for an actual sparkling Song spent much of the following day in her berthroom watching the baby Laserbeak. It wasn't until around sunset that Song figured that Soundwave would be retiring for the evening so she could go and get a little energon for herself and move down to the Vehicon barracks where Orb Weaver, Moonrise and Freefall already were along withPredaking… Apparently it had something to do with it being the Vehicons poker night… Still she headed down there careful to keep Laserbeak wrapped tightly in her new blanket. Which had been a gift from Orb Weaver. When she had seen Soundwave originally holding the little sparkling, the teenager had disappeared for an hour or two only to reappear with a warm, golden silk blanket made from her spider webbing. Apparently Weaver had a talent that lived up to her namesake, she could weave threads together and make beautiful blankets and garments… She pointed out that the blanket was nothing special and she could've done a better job had she actually had a loom to work at. Still Soundwave appreciated the gesture all the same and had swaddled his daughter in the blankets warmth.
Upon reaching the barracks Songbird was greeted with the sight of Predaking playing cards with several of the Vehicons while Moonrise sat on his shoulder. (As a little good luck charm no doubt.) Freefall was currently sitting on the couch with Orb Weaver and the two were reading something on a data pad. Her presence was immediately noted by the Vehicons and several of them went to greet her as well as take a peek at the little sparkling in her arms. (Apparently many of the Vehicons and Eradicons were enamored with the new adorable, wiggling thing on board The Nemesis and several were even planning a sparkling shower for Soundwaves new baby…) Nonetheless, Song waved her servos wordlessly indicating for the group surrounding her and the sparkling to back up which they hastily did and she sat down on the couch next to Weaver and Freefall. After collecting his winnings from the poker game, Predaking walked away from the table and took a seat closer to Songbird. Moonrise giggled innocently before sliding off of his shoulder and sitting on his knee while Predaking gently pet her head with one of his razor-sharp fingers, careful not to hurt the little girl.
"So what's on the agenda tonight's Songbird? Songs or stories?" One of the Eradicons named Kevin chirped as he sat crosslegged on the floor in front of Song along with many of the others. After a moment of consideration Songbird looked at the group before her and smiled warmly.
"I'm afraid that my loud singing voice might upset the little one, so a story seems in order." She explained calmly while looking down at Laserbeak who was now sleeping silently and sucking on one of her thumbs cutely. "And I think I know exactly which story would be appropriate tonight… a story that was taught to me by a dear friend. This is the story of the Good King, the Evil Queen and the Dreaming god…" Immediately there were some excited whispers from the Vehicons and Eradicons, as they could tell that this story was going to be a good one. Freefall and Moony also seem to get excited at the mention of this tale, they could identify it as being one of their favorite stories. But silence resumed when Songbird cleared her throat indicating that she was about to begin.
"The first thing you need to know is that this story is not made up, these events have actually taken place even though this tale has long been lost to humans… It has even faded away from their myths." She explained as her voice seemed to take on an eerie tone. "Once upon a time there was another continent upon this earth. Smaller than the others but a continent nonetheless… and for its time it was truly advanced by human standards. The continent was called Atlantis and its where this story takes place… Atlantis was divided into four kingdoms and the largest of these kingdoms was ruled by a good King. This King was truly blessed to rule such a grand kingdom, he lived in an enormous castle, had immense wealth with more money than he could ever spend in his life, he had many fine strong sons and many wives… But not everything was as it seemed… for while the King lived in a city that was pristine and where only the rich and powerful could reside just beyond the city walls his lands were riddled with famine and disease. A plague had begun to tear through this kingdom some years prior and had devastated all that it had touched. But that was not the case in the Imperial city… Life went on there as if the horrors taking place just outside its walls weren't happening. Still the King was smart, to ease the minds of the peasant class he proclaimed that witches and sorcerers were the cause of the plague which ailed their land… And this notion led many innocent people to die in gruesome ways at the hands of superstitious mobs."
"Hang on a second," one of the Vehicons interrupted. "This guy doesn't sound like a very good King. Why is he called that when he clearly isn't?"
"Because at the time that was the illusion people believed. In times of hardship and fear, sometimes it's hard to see the coldhearted monster right in front of your face." Songbird answered before she resumed telling the actual story. "One day this King ventured outside his shining city and rode his white horse around the countryside."
"What's a horse?" Another Vehicon interrupted, only this one received irritated glares from several of his friends due to him interrupting the story for a seemingly stupid question… Even though none of them knew what a horse was either.
"It's a large herbivorous animal native to this planet that has been domesticated by humans and is commonly used as a beast of burden." Song explained, not at all minding the interruption. "But as I was saying; as the King continued on his little outing he happened across a piece of land that was green and healthy and untouched by the disease which seemed to afflict nearly everything else. And it was there that he laid his eyes on a young maiden named Lyrica… She was a beautiful woman with long hair that was as dark as the night sky and her eyes were the color of blue topaz. In spite of already having many wives the King immediately knew that he must possess this gorgeous creature and he tried to charm Lyrica… But she was no fool and could see the selfishness, lust and greed that resided just beneath the surface and she refused him outright. Angered at being denied something he wanted the King went to Lyrica's father, who was a hard-working farmer and tried to persuade him to force Lyrica into a marriage. But the farmer refused, as he too could see the filth inside the King's soul and it was said that it took several of the farmer sons to haul the angered King from their land… But the Kings greed was endless in the matter did not end there." Songbird paused as she adjusted Laserbeak's position in her arms as the little one had just woken up and was starting to fidget… But after a few moments she continued on where she had left off.
"The King caused an uproar and declared that Lyrica and her family were in league with demons and were responsible for the plague and he ordered his soldiers to bring them before him! Lyrica was pulled off to the side and forced to watch as her father, mother and brothers were cruelly executed under false pretenses… for daring to oppose their King. Content with his act of cruelty, the King once again approached Lyrica and this time he offered to spare her life if she would agree to wed him. Lyrica spat in his face and swore that she would see him pay for what he had done! Enraged by her words the King decided that Lyrica would be made example of and he ordered her thrown into the Coliseum. A special fate, to be made a spectacle of while being torn apart by vicious beasts and veteran warriors."
"Now we're getting to the good parts!" Freefall chuckled as she rubbed her hands together expectantly as Songbird continued on with the story.
"Sometimes there is grief so great that even death may keep its distance… After being forced to watch her family be brutally murdered in front of her, Lyrica went mad. Her rage became uncontainable and she developed a lust for revenge that was insatiable. The first day she entered the arena everyone expected her to die screaming and crying… but what they witnessed was a woman capable of killing a man three times her size and weight with her bare hands. Years of hard farm work had made her body physically strong, but the pain of loss made her a killer. It didn't take long before Lyrica became the most feared warrior in the Coliseum… While she was feared and hated by the noble class, many people from the lower peasant classes cheered for her! She began to gather quite a following and the King suddenly realized he had a problem… Lyrica's rising popularity could grow to threaten his reign. So he charged his eldest son with the task of assassinating the woman he had enraged. That didn't go over so well… especially since the King received his son back in multiple pieces. But the loss of his eldest son did not bother him as much as the failed attempt on Lyrica's life did… Freefall, Moonrise, there is a lesson in this. What is it?"
"A man who has money and children to spare will soon end up with none at all." Freefall answered.
"Karma is a glitch." Moony chirped, although her answer got a surprised and irritated look from her mother… and Predaking quickly looked away, not wanting to give Songbird any hint that Moony may have heard that phrase from him.
"While both answers are correct I do not want to hear you use that kind of language again Moonrise." She said with a scolding tone towards her youngest. "Anyway… after a few more failed attempts on Lyrica's life the King grew increasingly more and more frustrated before he settled on a different plan. He ordered the Coliseum guards to keep her locked in her cell for a week with no food or water… which weakened her just enough to be subdued by several of the palace guards who proceeded to drag Lyrica from the Coliseum and out onto a ship waiting in the nearby port. After sailing a ways away from the land, the guards tied Lyrica to an anchor… and threw her overboard."
"So they killed her?" Yet another Vehicon asked, sounding utterly horrified at this point of the story.
"Well… as Lyrica was being dragged down to the crushing black abyss of the oceans depths she certainly believed that she was going to die. She concentrated on a single thought… a prayer… She prayed that death and destruction would be reaped upon the guilty, rotten souls that lived in the Imperial city. She prayed for chaos to any god or demon that would listen…"
"And?" And Eradicon pressed, eager to hear what came next and Songbird proceeded to smile a very creepy smile.
"A god heard her…" She said and it almost seemed that an unnatural cold suddenly filled the barracks, a chill even ran up Predaking's spinal struts. This story having taken on quite a sinister tone. "Or maybe it was a demon; or maybe even a little bit of both. What was certain was that this deity had a lust for blood and destruction that was rivaled only by the rage and willingness inside of Lyrica's heart. She would do his bidding, she would be his vessel to create chaos and he would give her the strength she needed for her revenge. It was said that purple fire suddenly erupted around Lyrica's body, freeing her from the anchor and propelling her upward out of the sea. These hellish flames were extensions of the demon god and he proceeded to merge himself to Lyrica down to her very soul… They became inseparable and Lyrica now held the power to do whatever she needed to satisfy her madness! A single blast of these flames annihilated the ship and the guards that had just tried to murder her and she quickly made her way back to the port. From there she began making her way back to the Imperial city, fueled by her rage and newfound otherworldly powers. The King could see these flames burning from miles away as he looked out the window of his castle and he proceeded to rally all of his guards and soldiers! In short, he called his entire army to stop Lyrica once and for all… this army met her at those gates and that was when the slaughter began."
"Some would say Lyrica fought the entire battle alone, using the power of the god to manifest different weapons out of flames such as swords, axes, spears or even weapons that had never been seen before such as blasters and energy cannons. Others would say that at some points the fire would consume her body entirely and a purple transparent form would overshadow her… And then it was also said that the demons power would leave Lyrica's body entirely and it would take the form of a massive human warrior cloaked in tarnished golden armor and a horned helm who would fight alongside the female gladiator. The two fighting in perfect sync as though it had been rehearsed beforehand. But no matter how you look at it the King's army fell and the Imperial city soon began to be burnt away by the flames of the god's wrath… the screams of the damned and dying could be heard all around Atlantis. Finally Lyrica and her demon made it to the Kings castle where he took the form of a true coward and immediately fell to his knees and begged Lyrica to spare his life… which she did, but only for a moment… Just long enough to kill every single one of the King's children and wives in front of him, having torn off his eyelids so that he could not look away from the scene. And then once that was done she and her demon god began to torture him so horrifically that it must have made the hell they sent him to seem like heaven."
"What became of Lyrica after that? After she achieved the revenge she wanted so badly?" Predaking couldn't help but ask.
"Having finally avenged the wrongful deaths of her family, at long last Lyrica was at peace. Her madness and insanity left her body just as the last fragments of life left the King's corpse and a feeling of utter peace washed over her damaged soul so completely that it not only affected her... but the god as well. That was the unforeseen problem of a chaos god binding itself to someone like Lyrica whose rage was not infinite like his… since he had bound himself to her soul, he suddenly found himself feeling… calm. And as the Imperial city fell to ruin, Lyrica sat upon the throne. Securing her place as an Evil Queen over the land.
"She must've been one heck of a tyrant, it would only make sense after what she's been through." One of the Vehicons muttered not really expecting Songbird to acknowledge his words, but she did.
"She was known as an Evil Queen because she was feared. People were terrified of her, but who wouldn't be? Lyrica and her demon had destroyed a city as well as an entire army… but in the aftermath of the hell she reaped Lyrica actually became a very just and good Queen. Not to mention that when she took the throne for some reason the plague that had ailed the land finally seemed to die out and things became lush and beautiful once more. In fact the land became even richer than it was originally with fertile fields and fresh deposits of gold and silver ores! Over time the Imperial city was rebuilt but it was no longer occupied only by the rich and powerful… and Lyrica ordered the Coliseum to be destroyed and the witch burnings were to stop immediately. She also declared that her god ally would be worshiped as the new patron god of the land and he should be given the respect he deserved… Although everyone was still completely terrified of him, perhaps that just made everyone make an extra effort to keep him happy."
"The demon-god-thingy must've liked that."
"He didn't believe it… No, I mean literally he didn't believe it. He didn't believe Lyrica was real, he didn't believe that people were worshiping him, he didn't believe any of it. He thought he was dreaming which he very well might have been… but that was also to be expected, if someone goes for a long enough time being unhappy and then suddenly finds themselves happy, would they believe it? He sure didn't… So he opted to enjoy the dream while it lasted. Don't get me wrong he was not benevolent or kind… He was violent and ruthless and although somewhat stuck to Lyrica, he spent much of his time in the castle's torture chamber. Where only the kingdoms most violent criminals were sentenced too. The god would assume a human form and proceed to pull his victims apart piece by piece. This human hollow-form was usually at Lyrica side, or maybe Lyrica was at his side… Either way they had a habit of bickering like an old married couple… but overall they got along reasonably well. I highly doubt there was ever any 'love' between the two but at the very least they were able to tolerate each other. And Lyrica ruled the kingdom for two hundred years… Her life having been extended by the gods power."
"The next chapter of this story began when Queen Lyrica discovered she had become pregnant and eventually Lyrica bore a baby girl. A hybrid between human and demon… and she was born as pale as the moonlight. Her body having taken a trait from Lyrica's great-grandfather, albinism. The only colors that painted her small body were white for her skin and hair, silver for the small pair of horns growing out of her head and purple for her eyes… The color of the demon gods blood. For a time things went along just as they usually did. But fate intervened when their child reached her eighth year… For the neighboring kingdoms had always been afraid of the Evil Queen and had always dreaded the day that she would decide to attack them... So one King took matters into his own hands, and he and many of his knights rode into Lyrica's kingdom and he openly challenged her to an 'honorable' dual… Without her using the power from the god. Lyrica accepted his challenge, confident in her own strength. The fight began and it was immediately clear that this King was no fighter while Lyrica was a seasoned warrior… her strength having not diminished even in the slightest over the long years. But what no one knew was that this King had secretly stationed his finest archer atop a nearby building carefully watching the fight and that the ideal time he shot a single arrow into the back of Lyrica's head, killing her instantly…" There were surprised gasps all around and Songbird waited for the chatter to calm down before she continued on.
"And just like that the gods dream ended… This new King claimed himself now be the new Lord of this land and it would be considered part of his kingdom. But he never got the chance to enjoy it, for now that Lyrica was dead the god was no longer tied to anything… So just like his dream, it would be erased. The ground suddenly began to wrap itself around every living creature on that continent, and every man woman and child on Atlantis was sucked into the earth and then the entire continent itself sank into the ocean! The gods dream ended and perhaps in a last act of spite he destroyed every trace of it."
"What about his sparkling? Did he kill her too?"
"No… I am unsure if he genuinely loved his child enough to spare her, or if it was simply the fact that his blood coursing through her veins made her immune to his powers… But whatever the case he never thought she was real, merely part of a dream. So she survived… somehow… but now she was a young child left alone in the world with no guidance and no family. What was worse was that several years after she had been left to her own devices it became apparent that something was physically wrong with her. She suffered from anemia, since the blood of her human mother and her demon father were two different things and her body could not create much of either. This left her weak, for just like her father her power was drawn from her blood… Soon a pattern began to form, she would be strong and healthy and be able to use her powers freely but when her anemia took hold, she would enter a deep sleep… sometimes for years at a time. But as this young goddess grew she began trying to find her own place in the world, originally she tried to be benevolent… But humans are rarely kind to things that are different and powerful and she found herself being shunned. Not by all, there were some who were kind to her. Some gave her different names for she never once told anyone what her real name was… And in this way she ascended to hold multiple places within the human's mythology. In the roles of both good and evil deities… But alas, there was one time when she had become weak from her anemia and was preparing to enter her state of hibernation… A group of humans that had sought to rid the world of this demoness and in her weakened state they managed to capture her. Although she had helped many of their ancestors in the past, this group's superstition and fear led them to tie her tight to a stake in the center of their town…" Songbird stopped talking and she closed her optics as though the mere thought of what came next was so horrible it made her tanks churn in complete disgust.
"And under the light of the full moon they burnt the young goddess alive…"
A collective gasp came from all the present Vehicons and Eradicons; many could hardly believe their audios! Even Predaking found the twist in this story to be unnerving… especially since he had a sickening suspicion that he had actually met the goddess in this story just a few days prior. One of the Vehicons audibly gulped before asking.
"So that's it? T-They killed her?" Songbird just shook her head.
"No…" she said, her voice as cold as ice. "They just made her angry." And at these words the room went completely silent again. "Deities, like the young goddess cannot just be killed. Not permanently anyway… All those foolish humans did was destroy her body. And they freed her spirit of its physical form. Enraged at the horrible pain she had just endured, in retaliation the goddess loosed a horrible plague upon the world… a plague that is known to this day as the Black Death. While this horrible disease ravaged the world; the ashes of the goddess's body ascended to the heavens, and settled within the Earth's moon. There she has regenerated her body and there she dwells to this day. Silently watching the planet and its people below. Occasionally she may even choose to intervene and interact… Sometimes as a creature of peace… or sometimes as a harbinger of death and destruction. For she is the daughter of chaos itself… And she has now chosen the path she wishes to follow… She is justice but at the same time she is vengeance. The line between the two often blurring. And she is also free to do anything else that she wants whether it be good or evil… All while she watches and sometimes changes fate itself."
…silence filled the barracks as Songbird finished her story…
…Then the room erupted in cheers for everyone enjoyed the riveting tale…
…of course they all immediately regretted cheering when the loud sound caused baby Laserbeak to start crying…
Soundwave and Megatron returned to the Yue's shrine that night…
Soundwave was not content with only having just one of his children back, he would have them all back! He enlisted Megatron's help in carrying the stasis pods that contained his other three offspring through a groundbridge into the shrine itself. Naturally Megatron had been somewhat skeptical when Soundwave had explained to him exactly what had happened, but since he was unable to offer up any other explanation as to what had happened to Laserbeak he opted to just help Soundwave with his current task. Namely hauling the heavy pods near the water's edge. When this was done the warlord paused and actually took a moment to look around the cave.
"At least the Predacon femme has done something useful." He grunted and Soundwave began preparing to open the pods. "I wonder if she will provide us with any more useful information before she and her king meet their unfortunate ends." But when Megatron said these words that stopped Soundwave dead in his tracks… pausing in opening his children stasis pods.
"Songbird: Saved Soundwave's daughter and has provided the means to save the others. Soundwave: is indebted to her and cannot allow Megatron to kill her." The Third in Command stated calmly and he watched as his words rattled around in Megatron's processor before they finally registered.
"You can't be serious…" Megatron hissed, almost not believing his audios. "You intend to betray me for the sake of those beasts?!"
Soundwave shook his helm. "Negative…. Megatron: Has Soundwave's loyalty and friendship. He always will. But Soundwave must pay his debt." And with that Soundwave's mask slid up showing his leader's his face, now healed of all his past scars. The sight clearly surprised Megatron who went silent for a moment and Soundwave took this opportunity to continue. "Suggestion: Spacebridge both Predacon's away to another planet. Where they would no longer be a threat to the Decepticons." Megatron remained quiet as he looked his Communications Officer straight in the optic. If it had been any one else daring to talk back to him or question him they would have been killed without so much as a second thought. But this was Soundwave… probably the only mech alive who could get away with it.
"I will… take it under consideration."
Soundwave nodded, at this knowing all too well that Megatron would not deny him this. And with that he resumed opening the stasis pods with the warlords help. Silently Soundwave gathered up his twin sons in his arms, they didn't make a sound but twitched slightly as their senses began to return to them and the stasis began to wear off. Megatron picked up Ravage, the eldest and largest of the group and all three of them were gently eased into the water. Immediately Soundwave produced three cubes of energon from his subspace and he poured the glowing liquid into the pool. (Since the last time took one energon cube for one of his children he did not want something to go wrong because he did not give enough of an offering.) Once that was done Soundwave mimicked the movements Songbird had made and he played back the audio recording of the prayer.
Just like before the cave seemed to charge with energy, but no flames erupted from the center of the pool this time… In fact the glowing water seemed to be steadily getting brighter and brighter until such time as it was too bright to look at and Megatron and Soundwave needed to bring up their servos to shield their optics. But then all at once the light died down…
And with a mighty roar Ravage erupted from the water…
The techno-organic panther snarled as all of his senses began to rapidly return to him. Size wise Ravage's beast form wasn't terribly large, but just large enough so that if he stood on his back legs he would stand about as tall as Soundwave's shoulder and his color scheme was pretty much the same of Soundwave's except for the fact that his optics were as red as blood. Just as Soundwave went to embrace his son, Ravage's movements stopped as though he suddenly realized something and in a single sleek movement he reared up and transformed… revealing that his T-Cog was no longer damaged. This only made Soundwave pause for maybe half a second before hugging his teenage son close.
"Wha-? Carrier?" Ravage questioned suddenly confused. For the last thing he clearly remembered was a crippling pain in his processor and that it was incurable. His optics scanned the area wondering just where the heck he was and then his ruby optics landed on Megatron. "Uncle- I mean… Lord Megatron? What's going on?"
"It is a long story Ravage…" Megatron replied as his optics suddenly returned to the pool and he immediately realized that something was wrong. "Soundwave!" He yelled catching his Third in Command's attention and quickly pointing to the water, which had now become as black as a tar pit. Naturally this put an immediate damper on Soundwave's joy as he realized that Rumble and Frenzy had not yet emerged from the water. But everyone stopped cold as a pair of large, leering purple optics suddenly appeared in the black water…
Two for two…
Two to live and two to die…
I will give you back two of your children while I will take the lives of the other two as an offering…
Rest assured, their passing was painless…
And know that their sparks will wait for you in the well…
The echoing and ethereal voice of a femme said in a tone that was so dark and so cold it seemed to chill the very air within the shine. But no sooner had Soundwave heard these words a look of pure horror crossed his face and he immediately reached in to try and pull Rumble and Frenzy back out but no sooner did he touch the black water did he cry out in agony and pull his arms back out revealing that the water had actually become searing hot tar and badly burned him. Everything went still for a moment before the eyes reflected in the pool closed in the water cleared… and there was not a single trace of Rumble or Frenzy. They were gone…
This was a crushing blow to Soundwave who had envisioned finally having all of his children returned to him and he fell to his knees realizing that would not be the case. Still he suddenly felt a servo on his shoulder and he looked up to see Ravage looking at him, his optics brimming with tears as he realized that he would never again see his twin younger brothers and how he knew this had devastated his carrier… This sight pulled the brokenhearted mech back together… As he knew that he still had Ravage and Laserbeak and all the pain of losing his twins burned hotter than Predaking's flame breath, he would not succumb to his sorrow. So Soundwave stood up and gently pet his sons head before his faceplate slid down and he began inputting the coordinates to create a groundbridge back to the Nemesis. Megatron of course had silently watched the entire exchange and just as the green portal appeared before the three of them a sound coming from the pool caught his attention and he cautiously looked in it.
What he saw stopped him dead…
The image reflected in the still waters was that of Starscream; and it appeared that the Seeker's arms were shackled above his head and he was resting on his knees. His face was down looking at the floor and it was all too apparent that energon was dripping from it. What was also noticeable was that his wings were mutilated and mangled…
"Starscream?!" Megatron asked in shock. And as though the image in the water had heard him call his name, the tortured creature looked up…
Revealing that his optics had been torn from his face…
And with that he screamed a hellish scream of anguish and fear and a river of energon spilled out of his mouth in a grotesque way…
Without even thinking Megatron pointed his arm cannon at the image in the water and blasted it. Suddenly consumed with anger (As well as fear… even though he would never admit it.) The warlord turned on the shrine itself and began leveling it.
By the time he stepped through the groundbridge the shrine of Yue was in utter ruins…
Ha ha ha! A quick update this time! The reason for this is that this in the last chapter was originally all supposed to be one thing but I decided to break it up into two different chapters. The good news about that is that I was able to get this update done so much quicker. All right that is it for now as always please remember to Read and Review! ^_^
