"dragoneel" i whispered, i knew he heard me because his eyes flicked to me. "i will grant you your wish. i f i do not fight you in the games, i will fight you on the last day of the Grand Magic Games" i saw Natsu flinch and nod slightly, turning back to lisanna. 'i can't wait. Natsu'

Timeskip, after many of the battles~

Lucy Pov~

"ROUGE CHENEY VS" a dramatic pause froze the stadium "NATSU DRAGNEEL!" roars errupted and in the sabertooth stand,sound wasnt a problem.

"be careful, Rouge" i said as he strode past me. he stopped and put his hand on my shoulder before leaving silently.

"this'll be eventful" Sting muttered.

"i'll have to remember this" Rufus muttered.

The battle began and it wasnt going well for Rouge. minutes passed and they were still going at it. "dammit rouge" Sting punched the railings.

"dragneel" i whispered, it was stolen by the shouts of the crowd but slithered into his ear. his eyes darted up for a second and saw my sneering face. that was enough time for rouge to get a clear hit, sending Natsu flying. the fight odds seemed to flip and smirks began to fill the faces of my guild. fairy tail on the other hand, were tense and i felt a few suspicious stares. i flipped my navy blonde hair and crossed my arms. time passed and natsu had shown his ultimate strength, turning out to be victor. he punched the air and sneered at me. i hissed and turned away "you win this round Dragneel" i whispered as i turned away, my hair floating behind me as i sweep down the corridoors on my way to the infirmary. Frosch foated next to me and whimpered "lu~ will rouge be okay?"

"he better be" i sighed. i reached the door of the saber infirmary which just had to be next to the fairy tail one. i pused open the door with a 'tch' as i saw the shadow of natsu hobbling inside his infirmary.

when the door closed with a soft click i sighed and strode over to the corner bed and peeked around the divider "Rouge?" i asked softly, no reply. Sure enough, the Shadow dragonslayer was deep asleep and i laughed softly. i slid into the side chair and Fro happily jumped on my lap with a soft purr. "i said be careful baka" i said as i sorted his hair to how he liked it, i sighed as i remembered how he played with my hair back on the gold mission. back then i was .useless.

Fairy.

Rouge shifted and i saw that his arms were thick with bandages. "curse that dragneel" i hissed. i heard a shuffling sound by the door but i ignored it. i carried on sorting his hair and then fixed the sheets before fro jumped next to his best friend and curled to sleep. i smiled to myself and drew up the curtains, the whole time, talking softly to the sleeping rouge about our past missions. as i turned back to Rouge i saw a silouette through the divider, too small to be a member of sabertooth. i tensed and strode out with a glare and froze when i saw.

"w-wendy?!" i blurted. the small girl looked up, shocked. "you've got the wrong infirmary" i said stiffly "Fairy Tail is next door, Kid" i turned back to my teammates sleeping forms.

"gomen!" she squeaked, reaching for the handle "eto... thats sounded nice" she added. i turned my head to her with a frown. "you've been freinds for a while... thats nice... i didnt expect sabertooth to be this nice"

"we're still humans" i commented.

"i-i know!" she squeaked "you seem nice... Tiger-san" she assed softly as she turned the doorhandle "can i ask you something?... ah... nevermind" i looked up as she hurried out and i shook my head.

sighing, i thudded into the side chair and closed my eyes.

Timeskip End of event day~

Sting POV~

after the event of Rouge losing i hadnt seen Lucy that whole day. i hissed and pushed open the infirmary door. light filtered through the curtains as an orange glow and i strode to the back, the soft orange light illuminated Lucy's soft features as she sleptith her head on her crossed arms, leaning against the armrest. one arm wasnt folde however and was streatched out and in her sleep she was playing with the black hair of Rouge's. '"Rouge! oi! you have been petting her like a cat since we beat those wizards!"' i sighed and ran my hand through my hair as i remembered that first mission long ago. with a sharp sigh i turned and left the infirmary. i opened the door quietly so i wouldnt wake lucy and i frowned.

"yeah, she likes him very much"

"those stories sound so cute!"

"yeah, i didnt know that someone from a guild like that could be so loving and happy!"

"i wonder why she acts like that then..."

"i like Tiger-san!"

"mhmn! she sounds much nicer than that minerva!"

i watched as two blunettes walked past the door. the solid script mage Levy Mc Garden and sky dragon slayer Wendy Marvell. i shook my head and left the room. they were walking in front of me and i stuffed my hands into my pockets as i listened into their conversation.

"i heard there was this one time in the mountains when it was just Tiger-san and Rouge-san where they found a secret grove of glowing flowers!"

"ah! how cute!"

"yea! they were fighting a huge monster and just as they defeated it they fell of the edge of the mountain!"

"no way!"

"apparently after Tiger-san came to, Rouge-"

their voices faded as they took the stairs that took them to the Fairy tail balcony and i carried on walking. "mountains huh?" i sighed. thats where rouge took Lu to teach her some shadow magic. i reached the saber balcony and only rufus was left wih lector.

"so? you weren't long" Rufus said, raising a brow.

"they're asleep" i huffed as i picked up my jacket from the railings.

"they?"

"Lu and Rouge" i said sharply

"they must be tired" lector strode off and rufus said something about remembering before we strode off to the sabertooth inn, leaving Rouge and Lu in the stadium infirmary.
