The two days of being suspended were enjoyable and full of excitement for Milz. His fathers granted him gifts ranging from fresh brains to new t-shirts with all of his favorite superheroes on the front. Standing up to Jacob was a bigger success than he imagined. But those days came to a rather depressing end. The zombie lie in bed the night before returning to school, worrying about what would become of him. Just because Jacob was done and over with, doesn't mean that there weren't bigger problems ahead. Takeo had always told him to 'Expect the Unexpected' but, he never really understood that as a whole. What kid would attack him next? Would he make any friends? These questions and more rushed through his head as he drifted off to sleep.

The undead toddler woke up the next morning, ate breakfast, got dressed and went to school. Dempsey walked him to his classroom and knelt down to talk to him before departing back home.

"Now, look, kid. I know that this Jacob kid's an asshole, but if you wanna survive this school shit, you're gonna have to avoid the little bastard." the Marine explained, fixing Milz's coffee colored hair.

"I'll try," Milz whispered, staring into the American's blue eyes. "But no promises."

"I didn't expect any." Dempsey smirked as Milz hopped on him and granted him a huge embrace.

Tank rose up from the ground and departed, leaving Milz standing by the classroom door. He stared down at his red sneakers nervously and took a deep breath. Upon exhale, he puffed out his chest, held his head up high and marched into the classroom. The children looked up from what they were doing, acknowledging his presence. Heads turned and toys were dropped as he made his way to the carpet. He took no notice of the children and sat on the carpet alone.

Mrs. Sophia walked into the classroom holding a clipboard and a stack of cardboard letters. She sat herself in the wooden seat in the front of the room and called the children over. Again, no one sat next to Milz, but he didn't mind.

"Good morning, class!" the dark woman began, happy to see the children on the gloomy Thursday.

"Good morning, Mrs. Sophia!" the kids exclaimed in unison.

Class began and Milz said nothing to anyone. He didn't even answer questions. He was in his own little world. The teacher's voice faded away first, the children second and his attention last. The daydreaming began.

Milz opened his eyes and looked at his surroundings. He wasn't at school anymore. He wasn't even outside. He was in a big white and blue palace. The palace was shiny and eye-catching. The walls shimmered and the floors sparkled with a beautiful white gleam. In the corners and everywhere around the palace were gorgeous green plants in sky blue pots. Some of the pots were made of glass and were see-through. Flowers bloomed from some of the pots in exotic colors. On the white tiles of the floor and other places around him, there were sky blue accents. The blue diamonds on the white floor tiles, the blue picture frames, the blue door handles and much more.

Milz looked down into his lap to find that he wasn't dressed in blue jeans and a t-shirt anymore. Instead, he had on a white suit. Around his neck was a red cape and on his head, a red crown. He stuck out like a sore thumb amongst all the blue, but he felt special because of it. He got out of the large throne he was siting in and walked down the sky blue carpet which led to two, big white doors on the other side of the room, his cape dragging on the floor behind him.

The zombie opened one of the doors with a sample of his zombie strength and peeked down the pale hallways. There wasn't a soul in sight. His bright yellow eyes scanned the empty hallways and he finally stepped out beyond the throne room to begin his journey. His tiny, red dress shoes clacked against the floor and the noise echoed off of the walls. The undead checked into rooms but still found nothing.

Soon, a pleasant smell reached his miniature, rotting nose. The smell of blood cookies. Milz followed the smell until he came to the source. A large, blue and white, open kitchen with counters lining the walls. These walls were decorated with pictures of cooked human organs and sharp kitchen knives. A lanky human was bent over an oven and the zombie knew that skinny body anywhere. His eyes glowed with excitement.

"German Daddy!" he called.

The person sat up after pulling the cookies from the oven and shut the heat source.

"Your Majesty." the chef greeted with a ghostly tone. "I vas expecting you."

Richtofen turned around to his son with a bright grin.

"I made cookies!" he laughed heartily. This would've been perfectly fine if his wide eyes weren't glowing yellow. The Nazi was dressed in a butler's uniform with a white apron on his chest.

"D-daddy..." Milz began with a stutter. "Your eyes..."

"Nevermind zhem!" the sadist chuckled out, setting the red cookies down on the white counter top.

As the chef took a fan from one of the cabinets and began to wave at the cookies, Milz took off with fear. The German didn't notice him leave and continued with his fanning, the same cheery grin plastered on his pale face. The mini King ran down the hallway. He had to find somebody else. Someone who knew what was going on. Milz turned a corner and there stood a blonde in a black and white suit.

"Dempsey!" the toddler squealed out.

The American butler was dusting away at a picture frame and turned his attention to the boy at the end of the hallway.

"Your Majesty!" he called out.

Milz's absent heart got caught in his throat. More glowing eyes. What was happening? His American dad stared at him with a pearly smile. He awaited orders as if he were a robot, staring into Milly's nonexistent soul. Without yet another warning, the child sprung off and looked for an exit. This was way too creepy for words. These people were not his fathers. His real fathers cracked jokes with each other. They picked on each other, got on each others nerves and gave him hugs. He had to find them.

He had to find his real daddies.

The King found the exit and made a run for it. He sprinted for the two red doors, hoping to be released from this mayhem that he hadn't even spent 10 minutes in. Before he could touch the two doors, a figure appeared out of what seemed like thin air. Milz skid to a halt and looked up into squinted, shimmering eyes. Takeo was another victim. He too, wore a black butler's suit, but on his hip, was a sheathed samurai sword.

"Where are you going, your Majesty?" the Japanese questioned. He didn't smile like the others. His face was stern.

"Anywhere but here!" the undead shouted, fed up with this madness.

"It is not safe beyond these doors. I will not allow you to leave." Tak explained, holding his ground.

"Your Majesty says-"

"Sir Milz?"

The King turned on his heels to find Lona, Dempsey's girlfriend, behind him in a black and white maid's outfit. In her hands were the blood cookies from earlier on a silver tray. She stared at him with big, innocent, sunny eyes. Milz was not fooled by this.

"Samantha!" he shouted at the top of his lungs, stomping over to the curvy, blonde woman. "What'd you do to my daddies?!"

Milly was beyond furious at this point.

"What?" the model asked, tilting her head to the right.

"You can't fool me!" the zomboy angrily spoke, pointing a finger up at the maid. "Leave my daddies alone!"

"Y-your Majesty… why are you so angry?" Lona gasped, surprised by the tiny King's tone.

"Because!" Milz squealed in his high-pitched voice with the intense urge to punch the woman's face in. "You know what you did! You possessed them, just like you possessed poor Lonny!"

"No one is possessed here, sir!" the maid spoke up. "Would a cookie make everything better?"

"Yes!" the child agreed. "I mean, no! I mean-"

A delicious bloody cookie was forced between his lips and he immediately quit his rant, enjoying the coppery and sweet taste in his mouth. Maybe this wasn't so bad. Maybe he was over-reacting. Maybe he was just going slightly crazy. Everyone seemed normal, other than their eyes and Lona wasn't possessed anymore. What a relief. After he finished his cookie, the pale faced model leaned down and placed a hand on the King's shoulder. She flashed an innocent smile his way and softly said,

"Wake up."

A single eyebrow rose up on Milz's forehead.

"Wake up." Lona whispered again. "Wake up!"

Her voice rose this time.

"You're daydreaming. Wake up!"

She began to shake him gently.

"You can still escape! Wake up!"

Lona grabbed both of his shoulders and shook him vigorously.

"Don't be consumed! Wake up, Milly!"

Louder.

"Wake up!"

Now in a desperate scream.

"Wake up!"

Milz emerged from his daydream and quickly looked around the classroom, his eyes wide with terror. A tight, unsettling feeling in his stomach twisted him into discomfort.

"Milly?" Mrs. Sophia called from the front of the classroom with a concerned tone.

"Y-yes?!" the zombie whimpered out, still a bit shaken up.

"Can you tell me what the letter 'K' stands for?" the teacher questioned, holding up the red, cardboard K so that all of the kids could see it.

The toddler stared at the letter with a blank expression before opening his mouth to answer.

"Uh-"

RIIIIIIIING!

The children rose up from the carpet and lined up at the door in a flash. Milz sighed to himself before getting up from the carpet as well and stuffing his bookbag into his cubbie. He took his spot in the far back of the line and twiddled his fingers, images of his daydream still flashing through his mind. Questions followed suit. He did the best he could to ignore them as the line began to move towards lunch and recess.

During lunch, Milz didn't sit alone. Children joined him at the table and eventually, his table was full of kids that he didn't really know. They ate and talked with him, laughing at everything he said and offering him food without anything in return. Although he hated human food, it was nice of them, but why were they doing it? Earlier, they laughed at him and pushed him around, but now, they were nice to him? How strange.

Tabitha, a curly, red-head, sat at the end of the table with construction paper, scissors, glue and paper. She simply ate a few animal crackers and gave the rest of her lunch to Milz, which he nervously accepted. Tabby worked on something throughout lunch and soon, she was finished with her creation, but refused to let anyone see what it was. Some kids claimed they knew, while others were beyond confused. Milz tried not to pay any attention to it and ate the disgusting food in front of him.

Directly after lunch, the kids were released to the outside world for the next half hour. Milz grabbed a seat underneath the same tree he sat under the first day he arrived. The ground and the leaves had dried up. He picked at the grass and waited for Alice to show up. He wanted to see her, as she was his only friend. The female zombie rushed over to him and grabbed a seat with him in a green and black striped dress and black slip-ons.

"Hey, Milly!" she greeted. "I heard you stood up to Jacob!"

"W-well… yeah!" the zomboy giggled, flattered that Alice had heard of his success. He thought that she was going to yell at him about it, but instead, she congradulated him.

"I'm proud of you!" the girl grinned.

"It was nothing!" the male zombie spoke out, his head held high. He was viewed as a hero by his only friend. Nothing could be better than this.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, Tabby the Red-Head walked over to the two and silently held her hand out to Milz. The atmosphere became tense and something was up. Before Alice could tell her best friend to ignore her, the undead toddler took Tabby's hand and she pulled him to his feet.

"Milly…?" Alice whimpered out.

"Go to the swings." Tabitha said and gave a gentle curtsey.

The boy with the chocolate hair turned around to Alice with a reassuring gleam.

"I'll be right back!" he promised and with that, took off, leaving Alice all alone.

"Milz! Come back!" the undead girl screamed after him. "It's not safe..."

Milz arrived to the swings where dozens of kids stood. Tabitha gently pushed him to a swing and forced him to take a seat. The zombified child looked around at the human children who basically stared him down. From behind her back, Tabby pulled a red, construction paper crown. She placed the crown on Milz's head before taking a few steps back and giving a curtsey to him.

"King." she announced and all of the other toddlers followed suit with either a bow or a curtsey.

"King Milly!" the echoed in unison.

Milz didn't quite understand what was happening, so he got up from the swing and slowly began to walk away. He headed back over to where Alice was, but realized the sound of multiple feet behind him. He turned around to all of the kids who were basically playing follow-the-leader.

"Where King goes, we go." Tabitha said.

Alice watched from beneath the tree with sadness in her eyes. It was bound to happen eventually.

After recess, Mrs. Sophia decided to continue with the lesson from earlier. She took her seat at the front of the classroom again and noticed Milz's new crown. She smiled to herself, happy that he was finally making friends. The dark woman shuffled through the cardboard letters until she came to the red 'K' that they stopped off on before. The children were called back to attention and the teacher held the letter up high again.

"Milz," she called, "Can you tell me what the letter 'K' stands for?"

The zombie stared at the letter with the same blank expression as before, but this time, he smirked as a word popped into his head.

"King."
