A/N: I'm having computer issues and I've been stuck on mobile for a while. On the bright side, I will try to update twice every two weeks. I really hope that I can finish this story before September. Thank you all so much for your patience!
A pale, glowing figure paced the fancy living room of an expensive white mansion. The mansion itself was quite dusty and beginning to lose it's shine. The light bill hadn't been paid in what seemed like years and the a/c had broken down long ago. Candles were the only light source in the entire home and the atmosphere was unbearably cold.
"I've got an idea." The pale spirit piped up, her yellow eyes shining. "I think I know how I'll get my revenge. Do you wanna hear how, Lonny?"
A slim woman strapped to a wooden chair bit her bottom lip and sent a glare at the little girl in front of her. Her galaxy-eyes attempted to burn a hole into the child's non-existent soul, but she failed miserably.
"I don't want to hear anything you have to say." Lona growled. "Just know that if you hurt Milz, I will end you."
"Oh, how scary." Samantha smirked. "You're just a little puppet. Just like Milly. Soon enough, he will learn that and so will you."
"What's your deal, Sam?" the model interrogated, attempting to break her uncomfortable bonds. "What did Milz ever do to you?!"
"It's not what he did to me, it's what he can do for me." the German replied. "We strike at midnight."
"You strike at midnight. I'm not doing anything else for you!" Lona said, turning her head away.
Just then, a razor blade flew from the other side of the room and grazed the woman's cheek before hitting a wall and falling to the tiled floor. The blonde sucked in air through her teeth as a stinging pain took over the left side of her face. Crimson blood dribbled down her cheek and onto her long white dress.
"You are coming with me." Samantha demanded, lowering her finger. "I have more power than you think, temptress."
"Make. Me." Lona growled again.
The girl floated over to the model and placed her hands onto the woman's face. She grabbed the corners of her mouth, but nothing happened.
"Wh… what's happening?" Samantha whispered to herself. "Why can't I take control of you?!"
"I guess that Alice's power back-fired on you." Lona smuggly replied, earning herself a slap across the face.
"How dare she?!" the spirit shouted, turning away from her puppet.
Using Lona as a disguise was out of the question. She would have to strike another way, that's for sure. Oh. Another idea. This one was better than the first. In fact, she didn't even need Lona for such a plan. Then again, she couldn't let her only lead get away.
"If I can't use you now," Samantha muttered, using her powers to lift a ceramic vase on the other side of the room. "I may as well save you for later."
The vase flew, top speed, into the side of Lona's head, knocking her out. The woman went limp and she was dragged and stored in a coat closet. The door was shut tight and locked from the outside. The only thing left to do now was to wait until midnight. Revenge will come soon enough.
