Koshinki let out an anguished scream, before abruptly dropping me onto the ground. I fell smack down on my face which ignited my already soar wounds. I let out a pained scream as my nails scratched at the ground. I was breathing so heavily that I didn't notice what was going on until Kagome came to my side and began to call my name desperately. Kagome. I opened my eyes slowly, groaning at the pain that was radiating throughout my body. Agh I over did it, dammit. Kagome turned suddenly to look at the battle with an even more disturbed look on her face. I followed her gaze and gasped. Inuyasha! Inuyasha looked horrible; his wound was open and searing blood onto the floor, making an ominous puddle flow at his feet. Inuyasha's face was frightening. His eyes glowed red, his teeth grew into large fangs, which were accompanied with red streaks that came crossed over his cheeks. His hands were covered in blood, his claws illuminating in the light, giving him a deadly look. "His face," I gasped, staring at him in horror. Koshinki was in shock as well, as his arm, the one with which he held me in his grip, lay in the ground, cut off by Inuyasha's claws. Koshinki's red eyes narrowed at Inuyasha's form, a flicker of fear crossing his features. Inuyasha smiled cruelly at him, waiting for Koshinki to make the next move. Koshinki growled menacingly at Inuyasha, making a sprint towards Inuyasha. "Die you Half-Demon; you are no match for me!" Koshinki screamed at Inuyasha, but this didn't seem to faze Inuyasha, as his smirk grew wider. Oh Damn, he looks crazy, I thought o myself. "What has happened to Inuyasha," called Miroku, his voice evoking a deep concern for what was happening. "This isn't right," I remarked, trying to get to my feet, leaning all of my weight onto Kagome. "What's going on with Inuyasha, Koshinki looks scared out of his mind." "Well I'm scared, look at Inuyasha's face, I don't wanna be near him when he is like that," called Shippou from behind me. Kagome remained silent looking intently at Inuyasha's form as he jumped into the air and slashed at Koshinki. I looked down as Koshinki's form was scattered into many pieces, laying everywhere in sight. The stench was foul and horrid making my eyes unable to open for a minute. Everything became hazy all of a sudden and I fell to the ground and that was when it all went black. "COME TO ME. COME TO ME." Wha- What! I thought to myself, feeling dizzy and confused as hell. "COME TO ME, GIVE ME YOUR POWER," called the stranger's voice. I don't know who you are, what's going on! Everyone! Someone! I kept calling out for something anything to grab me back from this confusion. "Kaname, Kaname are you all right, Kaname!" A familiar voice began to call my name bringing me back to consciousness. "Agh dammit, Sango is that you," I rasped pealing my eyes open to see the familiar face that was Sango. She smiled at me warmly, putting her hand on my forehead lightly. "Your fever is gone it seems and you sound like your alright," she said softly, smiling down at me. I started to raise myself from the ground feeling the soreness and pain from before had gone. Confused I looked back at Sango. "What happened? Where are eth others, what happened with Inuyasha?" "Inuyasha went back to his normal self after Kagome told him to sit and Koshinki died mysteriously after Inuyasha attacked him and we haven't seen any trace of Naraku so far, but you have to be careful, since Naraku has tried to get at you three times already." I nodded looking down at my body to assess the damage I had received. I opened my shirt and saw nothing. What, I thought to myself, feeling the smoothness of my skin. Where are all my wounds, I assessed. I looked back at Sango who seemed to understand my shock. "We were all surprised at your recovery rate, all of your wounds heal the same as Inuyasha's," she said her voice trailing off looking at me with a curious look. I sighed, getting up from the ground making my way outside. Inuyasha, Miroku, Kagome and Shipous were sitting in silence, their face grave in deep thought. I walked past them making my way towards the stream. I bent down splashing water all over my face, and taking sips of water. I heard footsteps approach from behind me, but I merely ignored their presence. "You alright," Inuyasha asked suddenly standing right behind me. I raised my head at his direction nodding slightly as I wiped my face dry with the towel I had brought. "What's your plan now," I asked not meeting his gaze as I got to my feet. He didn't respond at first, looking at the ground, and his hand holding fast at his weapon. Oh that's right it broke, what is he going to do now? "You're not entirely human," he remarked looking at my face with a serious look on his face. I frowned at this not liking what he was insinuating. "You mean what Naraku and Koshinki were saying about me being half-demon? Yeah, I've been wondering about that recently," I said looking at him gravely. He sighed nodding. 'I am going to head to see what I can do about my sword, you and the others stay here and we have nowhere to go until we figure out where Naraku will be headed.' Inuyasha had left us all for a couple of days, leaving us all with the feeling of uneasiness and dread at what happened with Koshinki. 'What do you think was going on with Inuyasha before," Sango asked all of a sudden one night as we all were circled around the fire. I looked up in surprise as I was sharpening my sword. Miroku shook his head at the thought and Kagome looked frightened. "I'm not sure Inuyasha was near death when he suddenly had changed, it was almost like . . . like he was a-" "Like he was a full-blooded demon," finished a squeaky voice. I jumped grabbing my sword suddenly at the interruption. "It's alright Kaname," said Kagome, "It's only Myoga, you know the flea,' she said laughing. I frowned annoyed at the surprise.
