Author's Note: Well hello there, long time no see. I completely lost my direction with this story, so I decided to end it with an epilogue two years later, where everything is all happily ever after of course. I want to thank the people who have read and reviewed, favourite or followed this story. I greatly appreciate it and hope you will enjoy this little closing chapter. This chapter is based a little bit off how I perceive Andy feeling during season 6 and certainly where I see her and Sam heading family-wise.
Enjoy!

Epilogue
Two Years Later
Andy McNally was truly content. For possibly the first time in her life she felt like she had a real family and friends that loved her. She looked over to the man who lay beside her in the bed, mouth open and eyes closed, breathing loudly as he slumbered. Sometimes it took Andy's breath away how in love she was with him. To give that much of one's heart to a person was dangerous, but with Sam Swarek it seemed like it had always been inevitable. She her attention back to the ceiling and continued her pondering. Besides Sam, she also had his sister Sarah and her family. They had embraced Andy into their family circle. In fact Sarah's kids were staying with Andy and Sam while their parents had some well-deserved quiet time. But at 1.30 in the morning, the only noise Andy could hear were her own thoughts.
Andy snuggled into her pillow, trying to will her body back to sleep, but sleep was elusive. Growling quietly, she got up and marched down to the kitchen intent on finding something to help her sleep. Standing at the kitchen bench a few minutes later camomile tea in hand, Andy growled again. Her thoughts were still racing and she felt like she was on the brink of figuring something out. But she had no idea what that something was supposed to be. So caught up in her thoughts, she didn't hear the soft padding of feet behind her and almost jumped as an arm circled her waist. "What are you doing up at this time in the morning" Sam murmured into her ear. Andy sighed "My thoughts wouldn't let me sleep." "And what's going on in the mind of Andy McNally?" Sam asked. Andy laughed dryly. "Not as much as you'd think. I just keep thinking about family." Sam stiffed slightly. "And?" "And nothing, I love all the people around me. I should be incredibly happy, not lying awake in the earlier hours of the morning feeling like I've missed the point." Sam laughed quietly. "Sarah told me this was going to happen sooner or later." "What?" Andy demanded. "That you'd want a real family of your own." Andy stayed quiet for several minutes. Finally she looked up and whispered "I want my own kids." She looked at Sam nervously. He looked steadily back at her. "Ok." He agreed. "Ok? That's all you've got to say?" Andy hissed. Sam shrugged. "I figured we'd have them at some point, now's as good as any other time." Shaking her head Andy pulled him in close to capture his lips in hers. "Ok, let's have kids. Sam responded by lifting her up and taking her back to their bedroom. "Sam." Andy giggled. "What are you doing?" Sam grinned down at her as he laid her down on their bed. "Well, we're awake, so we might as well get started."
