We all spent the night there near the sword, as inuyasha had refused to leave it be. There it laid the sword, Tokijin, enveloped in its own evil aura. The aura had been so strong that Totsei had been unable to extract it. Who could have made such a sword?
"Would you get off my back already," Inuyasha suddenly yelled that morning, making us all flinch at it. "Stop repeating the same old thing over and over again."
"No you must promise to never let go of the Tetsaiga again! Promise, please Lord Inuyasha!" Myoga had been yelling at Inuyasha the same thing for the whole morning, making Inuyasha's patience wear thinner than it already was.
"Kagome," smirk whispered, kneeling down to her level, "I believe that we should tell him, I mean he might not be so hasty in abandoning the sword ever again if he knew of the predicament." I sighed thinking of Inuyasha's face if he saw what he was capable of.
"I don't know if that is wise at the moment, it's too soon, we still don't knew entirely the conditions of his transformation, plus he might be more eager to abandon it if you tell him," I said keeping my voice low. Kagome nodded at this, a worried look lingering on her face.
Suddenly, I felt a presence, one that was approaching in an alarming pace. I stood up fast, ignoring the quizzical looks I was getting from the others. Something is coming, and it's coming fast. I walked past them, reaching over to Inuyasha, who was sitting talking with Totosei.
"What gives Kaname?" I could feel Inuyasha staring at the back of my head, as I kept silent concentrating on the figure coming closer to us.
"Something is coming, and it's fast." No sooner did I say this did a roar come from the sky. I looked closer to see a white haired man, riding a dragon-like demon in the sky. He was staring at me, his red eyes gleaming with curiosity. He was good-looking, I'd give him that, but his face was stoic and cold, making me narrow my eyes at him. What the hell does he want? Behind me I heard Totosei yell in fright, making me turn back to see that he had placed himself behind Inuyasha for protection.
"Sesshomaru," he growled giving the man a dirty look. Sesshomaru?
"So you know him then, what is he?" No one answered until I heard a squeaky voice on my shoulder.
"Why Lady Kaname that he Inuyasha's older half brother Sesshomaru, but unlike inuyasha he is a full-blooded demon," Myoga squeaked jumping up and down. Myroga? Huh so he thinks this is the safest spot to be, go figure.
The man descended to the ground landing a mere few inches from Tokijin as it lay in its own evil aura. I stared at him, suspicious of his sudden appearance. "Let me guess they don't get along," I asked Myoga, guessing from the hard look crossing Sesshomaru's face.
"Oh yes, they are the bitterest brothers I have ever beheld. You see the missing arm he has? Inuyasha was the one who removed it from battle, oh dear what does he want?"
"What the hell do you want Sesshomaru," Inuyasha snarled menacingly walking closer a dark look crossing his features.
"Just what I was going to ask you little brother, and I see that Totosei is here as well," Sesshoarmu asked his cold eyes giving Inuyasha a glare. Annoyed at this I could assess that he was after one thing.
"Ah I see now, so it was you then," I said reaching for my sword, ready to unsheathe it at anytime, "You commissioned Kyjimbo to make that sword laying there." Everyone gasped at this.
"What!" Inuyasha's yell startled me, as I didn't know he was near me.
"Why else would he be here then?" Sesshomaru stared at me blankly, his eyes moving from head to toe. I raised my eyebrows, challenging him to say anything. Agh I don't like him, I thought to myself, glaring him with contempt.
"Ah, I see so you've brought another half-demon spawn with you Inuyasha. It seems you have no shame at all, sticking together with these humans and then siding along vermin like this female." What, why that piece of! "She smells human enough, but I can see it she reeks of that clan's blood." Clan? What clan? It took a lot of effort to control my anger from that point, as I held my sword in a death-like grip.
"Shut the hell up you filthy mongrel," I growled glaring at him with contempt.
"You bastard, what the hell are you trying to do, commissioning that sword," inuaysha asked, as he seemed to also be trying to contain his anger, though it seems that I was doing a much better job at it.
Sesshomaru ignored inuyasha and started to approach the sword, as he did Totsei started shouting warnings, but Sesshomaru ignored them picking up the sword without difficulty.
"The evil aura, its- it's gone," Miroku said shocked at the sight. He's more powerful than he looks.
"Now Inuyasha I shall test this on you, I wish to see something for myself, now I shall come at you," Sesshomaru said as he then started to run at us both. Before Inuyasha could react I pushed at him, and raised my hands hoping for a miracle. I closed my eyes, worried that Sesshomaru's sword would strike me, but instead I felt nothing but extreme heat. What, this can't possibly mean that that happened again? I opened my eyes to see that a green barrier had developed as before with Naraku. What, how did I do that? Sesshomaru's sword was struggling to edge through my barrier. I looked up and saw Sesshomaru's shocked face across it. I didn't waist any time waiting to see what he would do, as I took out my sword and dissipated the barrier. I raised my sword and stuck at him, to which he blocked just as swiftly.
"Kaname, you idiot what the hell do you think you're doing," Inuyasha yelled from behind me.
"Oh be quiet dumbass, I just saved your ass," I muttered glaring at Sesshomaru as he stared at me with a gleam of satisfaction crossed his eyes. What is he making fun of me? "Don't you underestimate me, you stupid jackass"! Sesshomaru didn't answer as he then went in for another attack, which I blocked, curving my foot to kick at him. He moved away and went in for a stab. I jumped automatically, backing away from him slightly. I wiped the sweat off my forehead quickly before running at him to strike again. Our swords clashed again, my strength against his. He's strong; I don't know how much I'll hold off against his strength, I'll have to use speed. I kicked the dirt to get in his eyes to distract him, going in for a punch. He blocked it, his hands grasping my fist firmly.
"So you are one of them then, where did Inuyasha find you I wonder," he asked calmly, as if he wasn't crushing my hand in his. Ignoring the crushing pain he was inflicting on me, I spat at the floor glaring at him.
"I have no idea what your talking about, can't you be more clear you bastard!"
"It is no matter, I'll just kill you here and now, as it seems Inuyasha is too much of a coward to attack me."
"Just shut up," I muttered, going in to kick him in the gut. He didn't block it and I struck at him with full force. He didn't budge, as if the kick hadn't affected him at all.
"Now die."
"Not so fast Sesshomaru, you and I aren't finished yet," Inuaysha yelled.
