Yup, I'm back! Alright, I know this is an old fanfic, and I haven't touched it in quite some time, but after reading this again and falling in love with the story again, I had to continue.

Now, I'm gonna state a few things:

No, I'm not giving up on the other two fanfics I'm working on, those will continue on over time as inspiration strikes.

Twilight's castle won't appear until later in this story, any events that have happened will happen along with this story, but not until I feel the time is right. Maybe I'll even have it where my ocs are doing their own things during these events.

And in case it wasn't obvious, the two pony fanfics (This one and the Equestrian Journey) won't overlap at all. They are two separate stories.

Now, without further ado, I give you the long awaited chapter!

Shred Storm POV

"Argh..." I woke up early in the morning. The sun was almost up. Jake was still resting in his bed, Drift and Daisy were too. I grabbed my skateboard and prepared to head to my job. I headed downstairs to find Twilight reading a book by the table. "Morning, Storm." She greeted. "Woo." Her owl greeted. "Morning Twilight...Yawn...Morning Owlicious." I yawned. "Ready for work today?" She asked. "Yep. I'm heading out to get a little ride around the town." I said. "Sounds like a plan. Well, see you later." She said. "Later." I replied.

I looked down at my music played and set my headphones on my head. I selected the track Race to Win from Sonic Rivals 2. I flapped my wings to start my skateboard. I started dashing through the streets of Ponyville. As I zipped through, I saw other ponies getting up and ready for the day.

I had finally arrived at the delivery place, where a brown unicorn in a delivery outfit was standing. "Ah, Storm! Perfect timing!" He said. "Hey, boss." I said. "No need to call me that. Call me Stone Shift." He said. "Gotcha." I replied. "Now, if you'll follow me."

Stone Shift led me inside to a room full of delivery bags. "Lets see...I think I'll have you start with this bag for now." He lifted a bag full of mail. "Think you can do it?" He asked. "No problem!" I said. "Good. That's what I like to hear."

"Morning, Stone Shift!" A derped horse flew into the room. "Ah, Derpy. Glad you could make it. This here is our new recruit, Storm." He said. "Oh yeah. I met you at my party!" Derpy recalled. "Yeah, long time no see." I said. "You two are already acquainted? Perfect! Now Storm, be sure to get that mail delivered to the right places." He said. "I'm on it!" I saluted before flying out of the room.

Miles POV

It was morning at the library. Storm had left for work today, I was stuck figuring out my plans for the day. "Ok, what about construction pony?" Spike asked. "I'm not sure...I'm not really strong enough to do that all day." I replied. "I'm sure there's something you can do..." Spike said.

Maria came down the stairs. "Whatcha doing, J-Miles?" She asked. I could tell she wasn't used to our new names yet. "Trying to find a job. Storm has one that she's tarting today, but I have no clue what I can do." I replied. "You know, I think you ought to get job too." I said to her. "Me?" She asked. "Yeah. The more ponies working the faster we can get a home." I stated. "Maybe..." She said.

"Well, I'm heading out for a walk." I said as I got up towards the door. "Where are you going?" Drift asked. "I'm just taking a stroll around Ponyville. I need to ponder what my job could be." I replied as I headed out.

I found myself in the streets of Ponyville. "Sigh...what kind of job could I have anyway?" I asked myself. "Howdy, Miles!" I looked and saw Applejack who was at her apple stand. "Hey, Applejack. What's up?" I asked. "Nothin' much. Just workin;. You?" "Eh, just out for a walk." I replied. "Sounds good." She said.

"AHH!" We turned and saw a swarm of electric bugs chasing somepony. "Help!" She ran. Out of instinct, I ran after her and the bugs. "Stand back!" I saw a pony with a steampunk vacuum on his back. He pulled the trigger on the vacuum and he captured the bugs with the vacuum. "Whew...Thank you..." She said to him. "No problem." He said. She went on her way.

"Dude, that was awesome." I said to him. "Ah, thank ya lad." He said. "What were those things?" I asked. "Twittermites. Those bugs can be very pesty if you mess with 'em. Pest ponies like me have to keep them in check." He said holding the jar of twittermites. "Cool...Hey, is there a way I can become one?" I asked. "Ah, so you're not afraid of 'em, huh? I suppose I can recruit another pest pony." He said. "Great!" I exclaimed with joy. "I'll have you start tomorrow. Come to the park around noon." He instructed. "Thank sir." I replied.

Daisy POV

"Sigh..." I sighed as I was lying in the library. "What's up, Daisy?" Spike asked. "I'm bored..." I replied. "Why don't you take a walk around Ponyville?" He asked. "Tenderdrift said I have to stay put in the library so don't get into trouble..." I sighed. "Hey, you won't get in trouble. How about you come with me to Rarity's? I'm headed there anyway." Spike offered. "You sure it's not a problem?" I asked. "Not a bit! C'mon." Spike said. "Coming!"

I followed Spike to the boutique. Spike walked up and opened the door. "Morning, Rarity." Spike greeted. "Good morning, Spike." I followed Spike and entered the room. "Who is this?" She asked. "Oh, this is my friend Daisy Blossom. Daisy, this is Rarity." Spike introduced. "N-Nice to meet you." I stuttered. "A pleasure, Daisy. Welcome to my boutique!" Rarity replied.

"Rarity! I got that box of stuff you wanted!" A little white unicorn ran into the room. "Thank you, Sweetie Belle." Rarity took the box and placed it by a dress she was making. Sweetie Belle looked over at me. "Hi there! I'm Sweetie Belle! What's your name?" She asked me. "I'm Daisy, Daisy Blossom." I said. "Nice to meet you! Hey, did you get to see Ponyville yet?" She asked. "Kind of...but not much of it." I replied. "Ooo, can I show you around? My friends would like to meet you too!" Sweetie Belle said. "Yeah, thanks!" I smiled. "We'll be here if you two need us." Rarity said. "Great, lets go!" Sweetie Belle said.

"So, where are we headed?" I asked. "My friends and I have a clubhouse. You're gonna love it!" She said. "Awesome!" I replied.

Sweetie Belle brought me to the clubhouse by Sweet Apple Acres. "Hey guys!" Sweetie Belle greeted as we walked inside. "Hey Sweetie Belle." An orange pegasus greeted. There was also a yellow earth pony with a pink bow in her hair. "Guys, this is Daisy. " Sweetie Belle said. The yellow pony walked over. "Howdy, Daisy. I'm Apple Bloom. This is Scootaloo." She introduced. "Hey there." Scootaloo said. "Hey! You have a cutie mark?!" Apple Bloom looked at the daisy on my flank. "Uh...yes I do." I stared at my cutie mark. I still didn't know what it stood for. "So what is your special talent? Is it gardening?" Scootaloo asked. "Yeah, I suppose..." I said. "Cool. We're known as the Cutie Mark Crusaders around here. We don't have our cutie marks yet...so we try to find our talent." Apple Bloom explained. "That's great. I hope you guys find your talents soon." I said. "Thanks!" They said in unison.

"By the way, Daisy, where do you live?" Scootaloo asked. "Oh, I'm staying at Twilight's house until my brother, sister, and friend earn enough for a house." I explained. "So that's why you were there with Spike." Sweetie Belle said. "Yeah. Although it's been crazy here so far. I somehow ended up in the everfree forest looking for my sister, and my big brother had to come in and rescue me from a timberwolf." I explained. "Woah! Your brother did that?!" Scootaloo asked. "Yup." I rpelied. "Hey, I think I heard about that. Does your brother happen to be Miles?" Apple Bloom asked. "Yup." I replied. "Applejack was telling me the story. Sounds like us younger siblings can get into trouble haha." Apple Bloom nudged me. "We?" I asked. "Yeah. My sister had to save me from this three headed...thingie in a fire swamp." Apple Bloom explained. "Sounds crazy. Good thing we have great big siblings there for us." I said. "Yeah!" Apple Bloom replied.

"Hey, c'mon! We have other places to show you!" Sweetie Belle said. "Coming!" I replied as I followed the cmc.

Storm POV

I delivered the last piece of mail to the right place. "There..." I said, feeling proud of myself. "I'd better be heading back There might be more to deliver today..." I said to myself.

I turned to start my skateboard again, when I saw Miles. "Hey, Jake. What's going on?" I asked. "Hey Zoey. How's work?" He asked. "Fine, thanks. I'm about to head back to do some more deliveries. What's up with you?" I asked him back. "Well, I just got a job as a pest pony." He said proudly. "A pest pony?" I asked in confusion. "Yeah, I get to go around capturing bugs with a steampunk vacuum." He replied. "Oh, cool! Sounds perfect for you!" I replied. "Well, I have to get back to my deliveries. See you later." I said. "Later." He waved.

I zoomed back to the post office. "Hey, Stone Shift. I finished those deliveries." I said as I walked in. "Really? That was fast." He said, surprised. "Yup. Anything else I can do for today?' I asked. "Nope. That was today's bag, along with Derpy's Good job today." He levitated an envelope and handed it to me. "Keep up the good work." He said. "Wow, thanks!" I said as I pocketed the money.

I decided that I would visit the park to do some more skateboarding.

I arrive in the park and see a familiar blue pegasai with pink hair sitting on a bench. "Hey, Maria. What's up?" I asked as I approached her. "Hey, Zoey..." She said. "Is something wrong?" I asked. "Well...I've been thinking...why is it you and Jake came to this world?" She asked. "Hmm...I can't explain why...but do you remember that mare in the moon Jake and i kept seeing?" I asked. Maria nodded. "Well, after translating when the mare appeared and putting them into Morse code, after we read the message, Jake and I were magically transported." I explained. "So...you didn't leave on your own?" She asked. "Of course not! Jake and I didn't even know if we were alive when we arrived in Equestria." I said. "Oh..." She looked down. "So I guess your mare in the moon wasn't hooey after all." Maria said. "Nope." I replied.

"Well, that's what's been bothering me...nothing on earth happened to make Daisy and I appear. Why were we summoned?" She asked. "Well, I'm not sure...but what if you asked Princess Celestia?" I suggested. "Who is that?" She asked. "She's one of the royal sisters. She might have the answers of why you're here." I said.

Maria sat quietly. "Do you think...we'll ever get home?" She asked. "I'm not sure...That's why Jake and I are working for a home here so we have a place to live for the time we're here." I said. "But why aren't you worried?" She asked. "Worried?" "Yeah. When we got here, you seemed to be ok with living here. Aren't you worried at all that we may never get home?" She asked. "..." I sat and thought for a second. "Well...think about it. We're surrounded by supporting friends, we have great friends and fun adventures, and we have each other. If we never get back, life here certainly won't be horrible." I said.

Tenderdrift sighed. "I suppose you're right...but after you two left, everyone was worried. No one knew what happened to you...It was lie you ran away...I hope they don't think the same of us..." She feared. "Look, what has happened we can't change. We're here for the time being. And what they're going through, we can't help. We're in this situation for a reason, and I bet you that somehow we'll get back." I said. "...Alright..." She said. "Besides, how can you hate being here with a pair of wings?" I asked as my wings spread out. "Haha, I admit that is pretty cool." She smiled.

"There you guys are!" I turned and saw Miles running towards us. "Miles, what's up?" I asked. "I came to get you...We're to meet Twiligjt at the library." He replied. "Well what are we waiting for? Lets go!" I said. I grabbed my skateboard and started flying towards the library.

Miles POV

We headed over to the library, where Twilight wanted to meet. "I got the gang, Twilight." I said as we arrived. "Good." She said. "What did you need us for, Twilight?" Storm asked. "I just wanted to let you guys know, all of us are heading to the Rainbow Falls Traders Exchange this weekend. Can I trust you three to watch the place while we're gone?" She asked. "Sure thing. Miles and I will have work during the day, but you can count on us." Storm said. "That's fine. We're leaving on Friday so we can get there Saturday morning." She explained.

"So how long are you going for?" Drift asked. "It won't be long. Only a couple days. The Traders Exchange needs a princess to watch over things to make sure every trade is 'fair', so they selected me to do that." Twilight explained. "Alright. We'll be sure to take good care of the library." Drift replied.

Later That Night

...I can't wait to start work tomorrow. With my skills it should be a piece of cake. I thought as I laid in bed.I drifted off to sleep...

...Argh...I looked around and saw I was in a field of aura. Suddenly, Princess Luna appeared. "Hi Princess Luna." I greeted. "Hello, Miles. How is Ponyville?" She asked. "It's going great. I'm starting my first job tomorrow." I explained. "That's good to hear.I'm glad you're enjoying Equestria so far." She said.

"Luna, why is it we're here? I know you showed yourself in the moon back home...but why us?" I asked. "That's something you'll have to discover on your own."
