New Family
Hey guys. So sorry if this chapter's a bit boring, but it's just a filler. DON'T SKIP IT! It will help you understand some things.
The trio who saved my life walked me home and told my dad what happened. He seemed quite worried yet calm at the same time, as if he knew this was going to happen. He told me to go with these people. They could protect me in ways he didn't know. So I packed my backpack with a few of my belongings. I packed another set of clothes, my black beanie, and a picture of my family…together.
When I went downstairs to leave, I was stopped by my father.
"Wait" he told me. He then gave me a skull charm for my necklace. "For protection" he said. He also gave me a pitch black converse high tops. "For transportation" he said. "Be good for your new family Kayden. Promise me."
"I promise"
