Me: Hey people, I'm back! Sorry for the long wait, I have a lot of excuses lined up but ya'll probably just want the chapter? I am pretty sure you do. Without futher ado, I present you the latest chapter of Being a Tempus! (Right after these Disclaimers and Random Quote of the Moments)
Disclaimer: Normally when writers post stories on fan-art and fanfiction sites, it is a widely known fact that the person does not own the franchise and is owned by someone who has made millions, billions of dollars off the franchise...right? So, if this story is being posted on a fan art/Fan fiction site, then obviously I own neither Danny Phantom nor Harry Potter.
Random Quote of Moment

Being a Tempus Ch.4: The why, the who what when, the where, and the how Part I
"What do you mean that your my father?! What's next? 'Harry, join the afterlife. We have cookies?!'" the Gryffindor exclaimed angrily.
Severus was surprisingly silent and Clockwork was unsure of whether to take that as a good or bad sign. Draco sat there in shock. Danny had fell onto the floor in shock, a soft thud being the only indicator that he fell. Jazz had tried to calm the argument between Harry and the Dark Lord, only for her voice to be drown out in the midst of chaos.
This was not how this was suppose to go, Clockwork thought. Yes, he expected questions and angry remarks but not of this caliber. He flicked his ghostly tail in irritation as he felt a head-splitting migraine coming on. Something had to be done and of course, he knew what he needed to do.
"TIME OUT!"
The room and Time itself was now frozen and that god-forsaken migraine was gone. Clockwork floated over to where the frozen Harry and Voldemort stood, their faces inches away from each other. He picked Harry up, mentally noting how light the Gryffindor was(so were his other boys and he supposed that getting them to eat regularly would be a challenge this summer). Danny was propped back on the sofa. The Time Master put a finger to his lip in confusion; something's off, what was it?
"Nice story there, Clockwork."
It was Dan, of course.
"Anything but a story, I can assure you." Clockwork responded softly.
"I know that, but how will you convince them," Dan jerked a thumb to the four wizards. "that's its not?"
Clockwork looked from the younger ghost to one of his large screens and a large grin snagged its way on his face.
Dan threw his head back and groaned. "No, Clockwork. Just no. Whatever you're grinning a mile away about, stop thinking about it before I tie you to a chair and force you to watch Big Bang Therory. And I know you know how many scientific inaccuracies Sheldon makes." He couldn't help but smirk when Clockwork's smile faltered.
"Sheldon? Nah, if anyone makes all those inaccuracies, its Raj. Using Battlestar Glatica to support the loop quantum therory? No. Just no." Clockwork said as he shook his head.
Dan laughed softly, "Back to our original topic, how are you going to prove that this true? Not saying I don't believe you. I do, but still, how?"
"You'll see."
"One question, if you hadn't found out, the truth I mean, what would have happened?"
"To describe the near possible future would be like trying to stop Lucifer and an army of demons deadset on bringing the Apopcalyspe."
"So..it's that bad."
"In a sense yes." Clockwork answered the question vaugely, his red eyes distant as the images of the (still-possible) future wash over him.
"Take...it...Take...it..." he rasped.
Silvery blue gushed its from his mouth, his ears, and eyes. The younger wizard knew what it was, but was unsure of what to do. A flask, conjured from thin air had been thrust into his trembling hand. He assumed it came from the bookworm and the teen lifted the silvery substance into it with his wand. When the flask was filled to the brim, the elder wizard looked as though there was no blood in him, his grip on the robes slackened.
"Look...at...me." he wisphered.
Green found black, but after a second, something in the black depths seemed to vanish, leaving them fixed, blank and empty. The hand holding the teen thudded and he was no more.
–-
"Avada Kedavra!"
"Expellamirus!" The green and red jets of light battled each other, the green jet slowly overpowered red before it back fired on the other wizard. He fell down on the cracked marble floor and a flash of fear flickered in his eyes as he succumbed to death.
A old, wrinkled hand passed over a flask with a pink liquid topped with a wooden cork sealing it to a young woman, her red hair glowing vibrantly in the room.
"So I just pour this into his drink?" She asked tentatively.
"Yes." he answer and before she could protest, he held one of his hands and explained, "I know that would expect your husband to detect this due to his profession but I guarantee you he can not on this one."
"Why?" She questioned, starting to doubt that it would even work.
"I made this my self, designed so it's tasteless, odorless and leaves no residue."
"Again, just to make sure, I just pour this in his drink? Sir, what about the press? What will they say? They'll think I did it. Especially that bug, she'll drag the kids through the mud-
"I'll deal with the press myself when the time come. Now run along." He shoved her away and she left, quietly closing the grand, wooden doors behind her.
"CLOCKWORK!"
He was hurled back into the present, paying little attention to Dan floating in front of him, the younger ghost eyes filled with concerns.
"Dude, are you okay? You kinda like 'zoned' out for a moment and I had to call your name quite a few times." Dan said, softly laughing at his own pun and floated away from the Time Master to give him some space. The Time Master in question floated to one of his large screen, his blue hands fiddled with the staff, slowly trailing his fingers around the button that allowed him to freeze and unfreeze time. Clockwork raised one of his fingers, confident with hope that what he was going to do was the right thing to do for him and his boys. He pressed down on the small, circular black button on his staff.
"Time in."
The room came back to life, the four wizards looking around the room in confusion as the feeling of deja vu spread through their bodies. Danny, Dan, and the rest of Team Phantom including Danielle acted unfazed to the action, as this wasn't their first time dealing with the powers of the staff. Harry saw his 'father' floating in front of where he sat. He wanted the anger to swell up in him again so he can have a reason to take his anger on his newfound 'father' but it seemed to vanished in thin air and he was unsure why.
Clockwork looked at Harry, Severus and Voldemort, sucked in a deep breath and spoke, "Thank you for your such profound cooperation. Now, I know that you have questions and I alone can not answer them. Instead, you all shall go travel through Time, my memories to be specific, because Time itself can not lie about what has occurred." Using his telekinesis, a glass case with medallions floated to him, and pulled one out, meticulously inspected the medallion. "These medallions will help you do exactly just that. While wearing these, you will stay rooted to this time period. But be careful, for if you lose the medallion, you will be stuck in the time period you traveled to. Danny?"
The snowy haired teen lifted his head. "Yes?"
"Catch." The medallion was thrown at Danny, who caught it. Danny carelessly slipped the object around his neck, looked at Clockwork and nodded his head in silent understanding. He stood up, his silver boots echoing after every step he took to the large screen and jumped inside.
The rest of Team Phantom followed Danny, each taking a medallion and jumping inside. Harry schooled his features in a look of utmost boredom, the strong and lingering desire for a family hidden deep inside and followed Team Phantom to the other side. Severus eyed the object curiosly and with a affirmative nod from Clockwork, the Potions Master jumped inside. Tom had merely snatched the medallion, his snake-like features carved into a distasteful sneer.
Draco's silver eyes locked in on the large, circular screen, uncertainty written on his face. 'Would it hurt? What if it was all a big lie?' A medallion was placed in his hands and he took a good look at it. The medallion had a black lanyard attached to the golden gear and the initials CW were inscribed in a light blue color in the middle of the gear. The youngest Malfoy looked up in the blue ghost's wizened red eyes full of pain, betrayal, and hope; Draco then looked back at the medallion he held in his hand. Draco carefully placed the timepiece in around his neck and approached the screen where his godfather stood on the other side of.
Draco took a step into the screen, the feeling of jelly spreading through his leg. He hurriedly put his other foot through the screen and fell face first.
Clockwork watched silently as the youngest Malfoy fall to the other side and had to bite his laughter at Danny's introductions of his friends and family to Draco. But his laughter didn't stop the deep-seated resentment from rising in his undead heart towards the ghost he once called a friend. He still couldn't believe that all from all the people he expected to do this to him, it was him. The act simply instilled the lecture his parents had given him: We have to distrust each other. It is our only defense against betrayal. He laughed bitterly, here he stood thinking about betrayal and his mind instantly goes back to his parents.
He looked at the screen where his boys stood on the other side and Jazz stepped in to break up another argument. Putting a hero, a Potions Master and a Dark Lord in the same room probably wasn't the best idea he had.
'I hope I done the right thing by doing this.'
Me: Uhh...done. Okay, this is mainly a filler, we might to some action soon! So, I didn't type this because of four reasons: Supernatural(I'm on S4 and I saw Castiel!), My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, other fanfics I am writing and pure unadulterated laziness.
Questions:
What memories of Clockwork's do you want to see, hmm?
Anyone willing to be my beta?
How would you feel if I posted a new story for one shots and future fanfictions (I.e, Nova Shots by Cordia)?
Don't forget- Read and Review!
