Appearance: Tall, lean, wears a floor-length hooded black leather robe, black jeans, and black t-shirt woven out of Dust. Also wears black, clawed metal gauntlets, boots and greaves. Wears a Grimm mask made out of a material that appears to be bone. The mask covers the upper part of his face and attaches like the mask of Adam Taurus.
Weapons: His main weapon is a giant claymore with a six-and-a-half foot long, foot wide blade called Chaoseater. When not in use, it folds into a long, thin rectangular box that magnetically attaches to Hunter's back. Depending on the situation, the sword will change form. For precise, cutting melee strikes, it will transform into a katana and sheath, and for area-of-effect melee, it will transform into a scythe. For combat against a single opponent, the claymore form is used. Chaoseater can also transform into a Dust-fueled beam cannon that can be guided by a targeting system in his mask for precise, long-range blasts. Hunter's gauntlets, greaves, and boots are also weapons. His greaves and boots function similarly to those of Mercury Black, except they use pure Dust instead of ammunition. His gauntlets are connected to a pair of black bracers, which hold several varieties of Dust. The Dust is channeled into the claws of his gauntlets to be used in very close-quarters combat. He also wears a mechanical exoskeleton that nearly triples his strength and speed. He also uses a pair of hand cannons named Mercy and Redemption. These guns use armor-piercing .50 cal rounds. They can also fire 1 armor-piercing, antimatter-core, 25mm round each.
Abilities: He has inhuman strength, speed, reflexes, agility, and bodily durability. Those traits, combined with his ability to go berserk at will, make him a formidable opponent. He also has telepathic and limited telekinetic abilities (mostly because he's mute, and telepathy was the only thing I could think of to allow him to communicate.) His mask translates his telepathy into sound, allowing him to speak through it. He shares his body with a being known as a Grimm Lord, named Abaddon. The power of this Grimm Lord increases his strength, speed, reflexes, agility, and durability. As a last resort, Hunter can transform into a 15-foot tall Draconic Grimm that stands on its hind legs and wields a sword similar to Chaoseater. He has had extensive training in various martial arts, and uses his katana in the Iaido style. His leather robe is infused with a special, custom-made blend of Dust that allows him to teleport short distances. This teleportation leaves behind a slowly dissipating cloud of opaque black vapor. If used multiple times in close proximity, his teleportation can create a highly effective smokescreen, as the vapor can mask infrared, electromagnetic, and Aura signatures.
Semblance and Aura: His Semblance is Soul Theft, which allows him to copy or steal another person's Semblance and Aura by stealing a small fragment of their soul from them. He can also tear a person's soul from their body, killing them instantly. However, he has to be close enough to the person to touch them. His Aura is Resurrection. If he's dealt a lethal blow, he'll die, then resurrect a couple minutes later, fully healed. When he does resurrect, it activates a rage mode that renders him indestructible for a short time.
