The androids attempted to rush past the red hedgehog.

"Flame wall!" Storm shouted, and a wall of fire stood between Storm and the exit.

"Do you think that's going to stop them?" Eggman asked over the loudspeaker. Storm heard a button slam on the other side, and an alarm went off, as well as some water sprinkling from the roof.

"Crap..." Storm muttered, as he held his sword even tighter. Then he remembered grabbing something from Tails's lab.

The red hedgehog reached into his tail spike, and pulled out a small tank, with a corrosive warning on the side.

He threw it onto the floor, and shot fire at it, and it exploded into millions of flames.

The tank contained gasoline.

"RRRGH!" Eggman grumbled. "I'm not done with you yet!"

Another button slammed, and out came the metallic asshole himself, Metal Sonic.

"I thought I left you stranded in the middle of the woods." Storm said. "Did you complete my request?"

Metal Sonic shook his head, as a bunch of static came from his speakers.

"Still broken, I see?" Storm asked.

"Not necessarily." Eggman said. "I merely gave him some new upgrades."

"New upgrades?" Strom asked, as Metal Sonic hugged his chest. As he did this, it started glowing.

"This is gonna be good." Eggman said, as a beam shot out of Metal Sonic's chest.

For those of you saying that Metal Sonic can't do that... Have you ever even SEEN Sonic Prologue?

"Aw man... This is gonna hurt!" Storm shouted out, as the beam hit him, and sent him through the walls of the base, and into a tree.

"Go, Metal Sonic! Dispose of that rat!" Eggman shouted. "Shadow Androids! Chase after Sonic!"

MEANWHILE, WITH A FAMILIAR TWO-TAILED FOX

"They're gaining quick!" Tails shouted, from the X Tornado. "Sonic, you fly!"

"Are you sure about this!?" Sonic asked. "I haven't flown this thing in years!"

"Just trust me! I'll handle them!" Tails said, as the two switched spots, and Tails pulled out his energy cannon.

Once Sonic got a good grip on the... Uh... Controls... Forgive my lack of airplane knowledge... Tails took aim at the Androids following them.

The fox clenched hit fist, which began charging energy in his cannon.

Once he noticed the energy build up was stable, he released his hand, causing the cannon to fire a ball of energy big enough to cause a small explosion. The energy itself hit an Android dead center.

That meant one down, and... About forty-nine more to go, give or take.

They were screwed.

"Sonic, bank right!" Tails shouted.

"What does that mean!?" Sonic asked.

In retrospect, giving the controls to Sonic probably wasn't the best idea. Tails thought. "It means turn right at a near 90° angle!"

"You sure about that!?" Sonic asked. "You might fall off!"

"Just do it!" Tails shouted. "We could die if you don't!"

"And you could die if I do!" Sonic shouted.

"That hasn't stopped you from doing things in the past now, has it!?" Tails asked.

Sonic sighed in defeat, as he jerked the controls to the right as he could, while Tails made sure he held on as best as he could.

This would've been such a funny joke if I wasn't talking about animals...

After Sonic finished turning the plane, he stabalized it, while Tails fired another shot.

MEANWHILE, WITH CREAM

I'M SORRY TO TAKE YOU AWAY FROM THE ACTION, BUT THERE'S A REASON

When Cream and Cheese got home with ML, Cream's mother, Vanilla, was so happy for her. She even made the two of them snacks... Yes... She made the ROBOT some SNACKS... I don't know either.

Anyways, after she realized her flaw, she gave ML some oil instead.

The RABBIT had OIL... Mobius is too weird.

Sorry, side tracked, but I'm back.

A few hours after they got back, Cream and ML heard commotion in the same direction as Eggman's base... How goddamn convenient.

So, instinctively, the yellow and orange robot ran in the direction of the explosions... Because logic.

MEANWHILE, WITH STORM

The red hedgehog, still hurt from the tree smack, only swung his sword lazily at the metallic hedgehog, who easily dodged every time.

"Stop dodging!" Storm shouted, as he put a little more speed and strength to his attack.

The next thing Storm heard was more static, before getting bitchslapped into another tree.

"Learn to speak, jeez!" Storm shouted, as he ran towards Metal Sonic again, glowing sword at the ready.

The blue machine saw the sword coming, and although he tried to counter, the pyromancer still managed to scratch his metal skin, as well as melt the circuitry a bit.

"HAH! What now!? You might as well just give up, and-"

Before Storm could finish, Metal Sonic took off in the same direction as the X Tornado.

"GOD DAMNIT I WAS KIDDING!" Storm shouted, chasing after Metal Sonic.

AT THE CHASE

"Sonic, they're gaining on us again!" Tails shouted.

"Hang on, I'm going as fast as this plane can go!" Sonic shouted. "Maybe if we had one Chris's gems, this would be easier."

"Yeah..." Tails said, then he remembered something. "I did grab one before we left. Try putting it into the X Tornado."

"That works?" Sonic asked.

"It's not the shoes that give power, it's the gems on them." Tails said, taking one of the blue shoes he grabbed from his lab, removed the gem, and tossed it to Sonic, who caught it no problem, and plopped it into the plane.

The X Tornado glowed blue, as it's speed increased by 100x it's normal speed.

"TAAAIIIIILS!" Sonic shouted over the immense speed. "I'M ALL FOR GOING FAST BUT THIS IS INSANE!"

"TAKE THE GEM OUT!" Tails shouted, barely able to hold on.

Sonic reached his hand forward slowly, as the immense speed was slowing his movements, but he managed to get to the gem before any more casulties happened.

After that happened, the blue hedgehog landed the plane in a cave near a beach that they were flying over.

"Tails... Let's never do that again." Sonic said. "That was the worst idea any of us have ever had."

"Agreed." Tails said. "But, at least it got us away."

Sonic shrugged at this.

AT THE ANDROID SQUAD

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU LOST HIM!?" Eggman asked over a radio.

"They put something in their plane, and it increased their speeds to something that even we can't keep up with." one of the Shadow Androids said.

"WELL GO TRACK IT DOWN, YOU IDIOTS!" Eggman shouted. "BEFORE I START RESORTING TO USING BOCOE AND DECOE!"

"Hey, we can be useful too, Doctor." Bocoe said.

"We're smart enough to track down that plane." Decoe said.

"Bokkun, go search for Sonic, would you?" Eggman asked, ignoring the others.

"Let me." Silver said. "I have a score to settle with him."

Eggman sighed. "Alright Silver, go ahead." he said. "Take a few of the Androids with you, after I get them to send me their coordinates."

"Alright." Silver said.

"Shadow Androids, send your coordinates to us." Eggman said.

"Yes sir. Doing so now." an Android said, and he was about to press a button, when something smacked him in the face. It looked like a skinny foot, without toes, and it was colours weird.

Should this even shock you? Obviously, it's ML.

The yellow and orange robot got into a proper fighting stance.

"Hmph. Do you think a robot like yourself stands a chance against me?" an Android asked. "We are Shadow Androids, copies of Shadow the Hedgehog."

"Copies?" a similar voice asked from a hiding spot. And by similar, I mean EXACTLY THE SAME.

Out from the hiding spot, walked Shadow the Hedgehog.

"As if my life hasn't been getting weird enough after I met that blue hedgehog, now I have to deal with copies of me?" Shadow asked.

"Who said they were copies of you?" Eggman asked.

"They said that they were copies of Shadow the Hedgehog." Shadow said. "That means they're copies of me."

"Not necessarily." Eggman said.

"What do you mean?" Shadow asked.

"Less talking, more fighting." Eggman said, as the remaining 48 Androids rushed forwards to attack.

MEANWHILE, STORM VS. METAL SONIC ROUND 3 CONTINUED

"Come on, slow down you useless hunk of metal!" Storm shouted, as he caught up to Metal Sonic, and kicked him in the face. "There, that's better."

The static returned, but Storm could make out some of the words this time: "You picked a f- wi- -ong ro-ot."

"You're wrong about that, buddy!" Storm shouted.

"Yeah, Storm was able to beat me in a fight without much problem." a familiar sound came from a tree that could easily belong to a stripper.

After that was said, a heart bomb was thrown onto the robot.

"C'ya." the voice said seductively, as the bomb detonated, sending the robot flying away.

"What's up, Rouge the Stripper?" Storm asked.

"I came to ask you for a favour." Rouge said, dropping down from the branch she was hanging from. "You're enemies with Eggman, right?"

"Yeah, obviously." Storm said. "Why? What's up?"

"I need the data on Solaris from his database." Rouge said.

That sentence shot Storm's eyes wide open. "What's with that word... Solaris..." he muttered. He then blinked a few times and shook his head, as if trying to get something out of his head, and then look back at Rouge. "What's in it for me?"

Rouge grinned. "Well, if finding out about your past doesn't help," she started, reaching into her tail... Which bats apparently have. "how about this?" she asked, pulling out a green Chaos Emerald. "That makes 4, right?"

Storm stared at it blankly. "You haven't been spying on us, have you?"

Rouge shrugged.

"I'll do it for the Emerald." Storm said. "As long as I get the Emerald now."

"And how do I know you won't backstab me?" Rouge asked.

"Like you said, I would be able to get information about my past, possibly." Storm said. "If there's even the slightest chance on that, why would I pass it up?"

"Hmm..." Rouge thought for a second. "Alright. You can have the Emerald now. But you better get me that information."

"Deal."

UNDISCLOSED TIME AND PLACE

"Oh look, Shadow's fighting some Androids." Mephiles said.

"Is he losing?" Iblis asked.

"No, but he needs the help of some robot that was probably build by his friends." Mephiles said. "If you ask me, that robot is probably gonna be next to useless against me."

"What if Sol shows up?" Iblis asked.

"Sol is a worm in our operation, nothing more." Mephiles said. "He may prove a bit of a difficulty, but he's basically nothing compared to us."

"I suppose you're right." Iblis said, and the two of them laughed like evil people.

Alright, so this chapter was shorter than my others, but I'm running out of ideas. I'll try making the next one much longer.
