Naruto took a seat in the small waiting room of the maternity ward. He cut his eyes at the people who were sitting next to him, sucking his teeth in the process. He couldn't believe them...embarrassing him like this. Shaking his head he looked a Sasuke, Yuki and Natsu. He understood why they were there but he couldn't understand why the others. Okay he knew why Dei and Itachi was there, they had an appointment with my grandmother, just like him.
But moving on...he had his parents there, his grandfather, and Sasuke's parents. He know that they all wanted to document and see the process of the baby but...damn. They even made him schedule this appointment so that they all could be there.
Plus they were over the moon at finding out the sex of the baby today too. So he couldn't be too grumpy because he was happy too, when they came before the baby was in an awkward position where Tsunade couldn't really make out the sex but hopefully the baby has moved. Didn't want to disappoint this crowd of people who were already waiting for his or her arrival.
Closing his eyes in thought he hoped that Deidara was going to get good news too. He wanted a niece or a nephew, he couldn't be the only one producing in the family.
Thinking back to last Saturday, which was Valentines day. Just thinking about it made him smile, Itachi and Sasuke put their devious minds together and came up with the perfect day for them. The kids were shipped off to have a grandparents day with both sides, so they didn't have to worry about them which was a wonder.
The day he experienced was magical and they really put a lot of thought into it. Since it was still the winter time and February no less meant that it was cold out. So they ended up staying indoors most of the time. They ended up having a late breakfast since he's been getting up later due to night sickness but it seemed to be calming down of late.
What their men did for them was sooo sweet! The two ravens booked a whole upscale restaurant for the day, with the best chefs at their disposal. They didn't eat together which was a shock to the blondes but they didn't mind, they wanted quality time with their fiancés.
Naruto was amazed and shocked at the same time that Itachi and Deidara wasn't married yet and when he asked why, Itachi stated, that all his family wasn't around to have the type of wedding they wanted. Naruto was so touched that he ended up hugging the older raven, then Dei. He loved them so much. Sniffing he was yanked away to an unknown place in the restaurant with the teme leading the way. Looking back he waved at the other lovebirds before turning a corner.
As they made their way to a beautifully decorated room in tones of red and gold. Naruto looked around and held his breathe at the view he was presented. There was a row of windows that were from floor to ceiling and it showed the many trees lining the establishment, but what made it special was that it was snowing and sunny out. It made him think of Yuki and Natsu, this was the perfect setting. Feeling arms wrap around his waist and traveled up to rub against his stomach. They stayed like that until Naruto started to get hot in his new leaf brown trench coat with a dark gray fur hood, it flared out at the bottom like a poncho/cape and had faux fur lining the inside. He picked this type of coat because he didn't want to buy another one when he got bigger, he already couldn't fit his jeans anymore...or shirts. He basically has a new wardrobe now. Sighing he leaned back into Sasuke, "Babe I'm getting hot."
Sasuke nodded his head which was resting on his shoulder. Running his hands up to the thick brown buckles of Naruto's coat he started slipping the straps through the hooks until he finished all three at the top and pulled the coat lightly from Naruto's plump body.
Naruto sighed in pleasure as he thought back to that day, as if it was just yesterday...well it was less than a week ago, but he still knew exactly what he wore and everything. He had on a thick burgundy turtle neck, it was a gift from his mom. It was so soft, keeping him nice and toasty. The pants he wore were black with stretchy material because anything else just wouldn't fit...his dressy clothes anyway, since he wasn't planning on doing anything fancy he didn't buy any. Only comfortable things. He had on some calf length leather black boots, that had buckles and laces. Very sexy. That day he even wore his charm bracelet and his engagement ring that still miraculously fit on his finger. Granted he was still in his second trimester and the time when he really was going to be big, was in his third.
Still reminiscing he thought of how Sasuke looked, chuckling a bit to himself ended up getting him a few what's so funny? Shaking his head, he said nothing and kept his eyes closed as he thought of his dapper teme in his burgundy suit jacket that fit him like a glove. He had on black suit pants that were tapered off at the ankles showing black socks in shiny black dress shoes. His button up was black as well. He looked damn good with his hair kind of styled differently but the same, he couldn't explain it. The funny thing was that Itachi and Sasuke were dressed the same but whereas Sasuke had the jacket, Itachi had on a blood red shirt and everything else was in black. They were dressed to kill, Naruto thought when he first saw them. Lady killers...well in their case man killers. Now Dei was adorable too with his pale pink sweater and skinny black slacks on that showed off his curves, with ankle boots with black fur. They were dressed for a night out on the town but the ravens looked like they were hitting something fancier but he didn't mind in the least, more eye candy for them.
Their breakfast was amazing, Sasuke practically ordered everything off the menu from Belgium waffles to omelets to home fries to unknown things that he never heard of...anything and everything but on the bright side, by doing that they eliminated what didn't smell good to him in the process.
When they were finished eating, it was almost two in the evening and Naruto felt energized. Getting back in their coats they went sight seeing around the area, it was really beautiful and fun. They went on a Ferris wheel ride, talked to some of the locals and just walked around the city.
Then they did some shopping ...they actually brought something for the new baby. It was a rounded bassinet, real beautiful with ebony wood finishes on it. The bassinet was also in the form of a canopy. The drapes and extra features were done in a winter white and green apple. The ribbons around the bassinet was in the green apple color and also a bit of the canopy top closing as well. He loved it and was happy that he and Sasuke picked it out together. Since they weren't sure of the sex of the baby, they had decided to go with something gender neutral and green was cute for a boy or girl.
They even brought some onesies for the baby, they stuck mostly with shades of blues, greens, yellows and some purple. He was starting to get excited and Sasuke was just beaming with the feel of a new father. They got some little booties and hats too...awe he couldn't wait for the baby to come.
When they were finished with all the shopping for the boys and the baby they grabbed a quick bite at a local café, Naruto was hungry but he could only stomach the soup Sasuke ordered for himself and hot chocolate. Finished with that, they took a stroll to kill some time until the sun was setting, holding hands or with Sasuke's arm around his waist or shoulders, very possessive. Naruto thought as he noticed that Sasuke kept glaring at the few people on the street as if they were trying to steal him away. They probably couldn't even see his face because of the hat and scarf he was wearing. Sasuke was overreacting to the fullest.
When the time was right they met back up with Itachi and Deidara and went on a lovely carriage ride in the rural area they were visiting, which was quiet and had lights on the tree's to make the scenery spectacular. It was romantic and he enjoyed the time spent cuddled up with Sasuke. When the ride was over they went back to the restaurant from that morning. Naruto couldn't believe that the view from before could get any better but he was proved wrong, in the room he could see the night sky so clearly. The stars were shining bright, it was winter after all, so the sun went down around five or six in the evening...the moon was even out. Talk about a romantic dinner and as if on cue it started to snow again.
As Naruto watch the night sky, he started taking his coat off but stopped midway when music started to fill the air. When they first ate that morning he noticed the piano tucked away in the corner but paid no attention to it until now as a woman clad in a suit played. Then two men joined her, carrying cello's. Gasping he looked at Sasuke who was smiling at him, he couldn't believe the day he was having so far. He watched as Sasuke made his way towards him and took his hand in his, he let Sasuke lead them to a table that was still being stacked with different kinds of food. Naruto waited a bit to see if anything smelled wrong to him and laughed when nothing made him gag...yes! He thought to himself, all this delicious food was for him...and Sasuke of course. Taking a seat they dined to fine music and food. At the end of the night they sat at the window watching the snow fall in the room by themselves, while eating a triple layer cheesecake with fruit...mainly strawberries on top. Due to the fact that Naruto didn't want anything else besides the strawberries, so Sasuke had to eat the blueberries, raspberries and any other fruit Naruto deemed unsavory at the moment.
At the end of the night Sasuke gave Naruto a card in the shape of a key, at first Naruto thought that it was some cheesy card about having the key to his heart but once he read the front of it he couldn't contain his laughter.
Reading out loud, "I know for sure, by that eye roll you just did upon seeing this card you thought something cheesy was going on...Well to prove you wrong sweet thang," Naruto paused to flip the card open then continued to read once more, "I just wanna know where's my damn key at!?" Naruto laughed again swinging the card in his hand. Smiling he addressed Sasuke, "Sooo what does this mean?"
Sasuke smirked as he pulled Naruto against his body, "Baby I'm saying, I have all my shit packed up and ready to go." Kissing Naruto's strawberry flavored lips he went on, " You offered but never said anymore about the situation, I've been waiting but I'm too impatient...plus I need that key to get in..." Laughing when Naruto playfully hit him.
"Seriously though, I love you. I want to wake up beside you, hold you while we're sleeping. I want everything, I'm a selfish man and I need someone just as selfish to keep me in check. I want to be a family with you, the boys and our future addition." Caressing a pale hand over Naruto's extended stomach to emphasize what he was trying to get across, "But what I really want is a house to call a home."
Naruto snapped out of his thoughts when he heard his impatient grandmothers voice yelling at him to follow her.
"I tell you Jiraiya all the time that he takes after you and all those perverted thoughts you daydream about. Spacing out in a room full of people..." Shaking her head she noticed that Naruto was now glaring at her.
"I'm nothing like your pervy husband!"
"Hey! I'm right here ya know..." Jiraiya tried to defend himself but no one was listening. He wasn't a pervert.
"Sooo are you ready to see me now?" Naruto asked getting up and the others followed suit, "You sure did take your time...I have places to be and people to see."
" Yeah keep telling yourself that," Tsunade told him as she looked at the chart in her hands, " If you must know, I was paged in for an emergency caesarean section."
Everyone became quiet and she looked up sighing, "Relax, it went well. The baby is a little underweight but the mother and child are doing perfectly well."
Breathing easier Naruto followed her to an examining room. He was a little nervous because of all the people there. But Naruto guessed he could understand why the Uchiha's wanted to see this, they missed out on Yuki and Natsu's check up's and ultrasounds. As for the twins, they wanted to see their sibling for the first time and his parents was going to come regardless of what he said anyway, and Itachi and Dei were there to see if everything was alright. Plus the examination for themselves. Today was a busy day.

Naruto reluctantly sat on the examination table after he was yelled at for trying to do otherwise.
"Pull up your shirt." He did as told and rolled his eyes at all the squeals of delight at seeing his belly. Naruto watched as Tsunade hooked the Sonography machine up with the small transducer and rolled it towards him but made sure that it could be seen by the whole room. She put on some rubber gloves and grabbed the coupling gel that would be smeared across his exposed stomach.
"As you know, this will be a bit cold." She warned Naruto before squirting some onto his stomach causing the blonde to jerk in response. Shit that was cold but only for a couple of seconds. Looking at the machine which made crazy sounds as the wave lengths and whatnot were trying to clear up and show the baby. "Well everyone look at what I found. Yuki, Natsu do you see the baby?" Tsunade asked and they moved closer to the picture on the screen to get a better look.
"That's the baby?" Natsu asked with his face scrunched up, "...I guess it looks like one, the firsts picture mommy showeded us was of some dot." Natsu stated shaking his head, not impressed.
"Gammy, do you know what it is yet?" Yuki asked looking hard at the screen...he couldn't tell.
"I actually do now." She said not saying anymore, letting the room stew a bit as everyone looked at the monitor trying to figure it out.
"Come on and tell us already!" Naruto shouted the first to crack. Laughing, "Well ladies and gentlemen, what we have here is a healthy eighteen week baby...boy!"
"Yaayyy Yuki, we's got us a brotha!" He shouted and danced around with Yuki.
Naruto sighed as he rubbed his stomach...now he knew for sure what he was having but he did want to see a little girl running around the house, oh well...
Sasuke kissed Naruto full on as he processed the news. They were going to have another boy, he was so proud of Naruto but he couldn't help but taunt him as he pulled away, "Didn't I say Uchiha's only have bo-Ow!" He said rubbing the spot that Naruto just hit.
"That's what you get for being a smart...aaaa well you know what I mean!" He said as managing to avoid saying ass, "I was sure it was a girl." Naruto told him as he rubbed his stomach.
Sasuke leaned back in and whispered in his ear, "We can always try for a girl next time but I make no promises."
Tsunade waited a bit so that everyone could get used to the idea of another boy joining the family in a few months'. Getting everyone's attention again she started telling them of what to expect in the following weeks, " Okay, so Naruto you are at week eighteen and with that comes the final stage of the babies ear development, they will be sticking out of the head in a few more weeks or so and he will be ready to hear his parents beautiful voices, so get ready to start singing lullabies to him. The nerve ending from the brain are developing too and the baby will soon be able to hear your heartbeat, Naruto."
"Wow that's amazing." Naruto whispered as he rubbed his stomach with Sasuke's hand on top of his.
"It is and his eyes are also developing and will be facing front soon, his retinas might even be able to detect light too if you shine a light on your abdomen, plus his bones are going to harden soon as well. The areas that will start hardening first are the legs or in the clavicles. So suffice it to say he is a healthy baby boy and is on the right track." Tsunade stated as she hit the print button on the machine and watched as a copy came out of the printer.
"You are going to need more copies than that Tsunade." Fugaku stated and the others nodded, sighing she decided not to argue even thought she wanted too. Going back to the print page she looked at the spot for how many copies and turned to look at everyone.
"So, who wants a copy." Damn near every hand went up. Shaking her head all she could do was laugh, only someone from her family would have a packed room for a routine check up. Looking again she pushed in eleven, what the hell everyone could get one.
"I see it!" Sasuke shouted as he found what was essential to boys, " That's my son, you all are looking at."
"Shut up Sasuke, no one wants to hear you talk about that." Naruto told him as he shook his head, he was too happy.
"Yes, little brother he is a true Uchiha...look at him already commanding attention." Itachi stated staring at his copy of the ultrasound.
"You guys are something else..." Dei stated as he laughed with Naruto about their men. They were too much and embarrassing at times like these.
Tsunade wiped off the goo from Naruto's stomach and pulled his shirt down, "All finished, but you need to start drinking more water. Yeah I know you already do, a lot as it is but you have to stay hydrated."
"Alright, I'll try." Naruto told her as he slipped off the examination table.
"That's all I ask for." Turning towards Itachi and Deidara, " You two are up next. Alright everyone, this one needs a bit more privacy. So go out in the waiting room or to the cafeteria to grab something to eat. We shouldn't be too long though." Tsunade said ushering them out the door.
Naruto wanted to stay but listened to his grandmother when she glared at him as if he was the only problematic one. Turning to Sasuke who grabbed his hand, they started walking. The boys were already gone with the others.
"Alright...I'm going." Naruto said as he raised a hand in the air, " I'll be in the cafeteria if you need me."
Closing the door behind them Tsunade gestured for Deidara to lay back on the examination table, "Okay...first off I want to say is, that I'm proud of you Deidara for telling Itachi about your condition, I know that this is hard for you, and hurts to talk about. I'm happy to see you're still by his side Itachi and here today no less." She said as she pulled on another pair of gloves.
"I wouldn't want to be anywhere in the world at a time like this." Itachi said taking Deidara's hand in his, it's the truth. When Dei finally told him the full story of his past he was shocked but it didn't show, but that shock turned into wonder soon after. All he could think about was how they could make a family together. He even voiced it to Dei, who was a little wary about the situation. Itachi had to convince him that getting pregnant was possible, that Tsunade was a world renowned physician. If anyone could find a remedy to fix a minor problem it was her. Yes, minor to him because he was more than determined to get Deidara pregnant. Before he didn't know it was possible but now that he did...lets just say Dei wasn't walking straight for a while now.
"Well that's good to hear because Deidara cannot get stressed, if he is pregnant he has to be very careful. No heavy lifting, bending down...just anything strenuous he has to stay away from and that includes rough sex." She said eyeing them both, Deidara turning red in the face while Itachi looked smug. They were doing some wild things the other night, but not too crazy because Dei could be pregnant for all they knew. So wild but careful at the same time.
"If that's what it takes', than I'm all for it." Itachi said as he watched Tsunade poke here and there on his loves stomach asking if this or that hurt. He wasn't the praying type but he sure has been praying since Deidara told him that he could conceive. He could just see the beautiful children they will make...not could because he knew for a fact that they were going to have their own, no surrogates...they could do adoption but he also wanted his flesh and blood children as well. Call him selfish, shit he'll own it but this is what he wanted, a family with the love of his life.
"Okay..." Tsunade said finished with the physical exam she moved the ultrasound machine over and grabbed the coupling gel, "This will be cold" Deidara flinched a bit at the contact but he wasn't paying attention. His heart was in his throat, he was so nervous...what if he wasn't pregnant? What if he couldn't get pregnant again? As all these thoughts bombarded his mind he felt a strong hand squeeze his. Looking up he stared into intense onyx eyes and swallowed hard. He had to stay positive, they wanted this, he wanted this more than anything. Getting teary eyed he watched as Itachi mouthed the words I love you, that just about did him in. But his attention was soon focused back on what was happening in the room. Tsunade was running the transducer over his stomach...he felt like he was about to throw up, faint, you name it when Itachi started to rub his hand thought his hair, calming his frantic heart. Itachi must be stressed too, Deidara thought. It wasn't just him hoping for a miracle, everyone was. He's been taking everything Tsunade has been giving him. She gave him this new batch of stuff in the beginning of December that tasted like dirt before but now it actually had a pleasant taste to it, he guessed he was getting used to it.
They watched the monitor as Tsunade moved the transducer above his pelvis bone and added pressure, " We have to get past all the skin and tissue to find the baby..." She told them as she moved the device around a bit and stopped abruptly, " Look what I just found hiding out." She said pointing to the image on the screen, " Is that a baby I see and well developed at that." clucking her tongue she laughed, from the look of things the baby was conceived not that far after Naruto's son...two babies in the family in one year? Only a month or two apart. What a blessing, but they were going to have their hands full.
Deidara couldn't hold the tears back, he was going to have a baby?! Really? He's been wanting this for so long now that he couldn't believe that it was finally coming true, "Itachi..." He said on a sob. The raven looked at the image on the screen and smiled down at Dei proudly. He knew it, he had a feeling. He noticed Deidara eating more of the things he didn't like for instance, cabbage. He loved it but Dei always said that it stunk up the place but he made it a few weeks ago. He made himself a bowl of corn beef and cabbage and watched as Dei made his way over. At first he thought nothing of it but now that made all the difference. That incident made him start noticing other oddities that he didn't before.
Looking at the screen again Itachi smiled, " I knew you could do it. Your making me a father Deidara." He stated caressing Dei's face, with his other he wiping the tears away. "I'm so proud just looking at the image, this is the best gift you could ever give me. I love you." Bending down he kissed his love, he wanted badly to rub his hands over his stomach. Dei had a little bump but it wasn't that noticeable, he just chalked it up to overeating. But it was his baby in there, Itachi couldn't be prouder.
Breaking away the blonde blush, "I love you too." As they stared at each other in awe they heard a coughing sound and looked at the source. Tsunade looked at the screen for a second then turned back to them.
"What I gather is that you're about eleven weeks along, which means that you got pregnant around the end of November. I'm thinking that it wasn't a problem with getting pregnant with you, it was more of an issue with the carrying process. I think that you probably had miscarriages due to this but wasn't alerted about them. If it was early in the pregnancy it wouldn't be much to show. Once the baby starts forming the harder it is for you to maintain the pregnancy. I'm thinking that the medicine I gave you helped strengthen your inside's and helped keep the baby and the womb stable. It seems to be helping, so I want you to keep using it. It's not harmful, so you have nothing to worry about with that."
"I will run some more tests on you to be sure though." Tsunade stated as she went to copy the ultrasound image, not even asking and just printed out twelve. Hey, she wanted one too. It was her great-grand baby too! Getting back on topic Tsunade continued, "As you can see the babies head is about the same size as the body and that's perfectly fine at this stage but from this week on to week twenty the baby will be growing quickly. As we saw with Naruto's son his ears just finished developing and are now sticking out the sides of his head, with your babies ears, they are just now moving up to that position and are still flat against the head. The facial features are still in progress as well as the internal organs. But we will not be able to determine the sex until after week fourteen, hopefully this one won't try to hide from us. Granted Naruto had to get all of your schedules to match up before he came back in to find out. Four weeks to be exact." She said shaking her head.
"Deidara I can already see that you are gaining weight and that's necessary for the babies growth. Normally you can gain about twenty five to thirty five pounds, don't be alarmed Itachi, its natural." She said laughing but it was for nothing as the stoic raven shook his head, "I'd love Dei no matter what he looks like."
"Stop lying," Laughing Deidara looked at Itachi, he wasn't fooled. He knew for a fact that he loved his slender yet curvy body.
"I will, you are pregnant with my child. Do you know how turned on that makes me?" The raven said leaning down to be on eye level with Dei, "Just one look at you and everyone will know that you are mine, that I did this to you, that you are having our child. I couldn't be more turned on and I can't wait to see you plump, needing my help to stand up because our child is growing in there. Getting stronger to grace us with his presence." Deidara sat there speechless, what was he supposed to say to that? He didn't know that Itachi thought about his pregnancy like that, to be honest it turned him on too. Hearing him talk like that just did it for him. He was Itachi's, just like Itachi was his. Now this miracle in him was theirs.
Rubbing the goo off Deidara's stomach, when Tsunade was finished she handed them the pictures, "I want to see you in three weeks for a check up and to find out the gender...hopefully. But I'm telling you now, take it easy. Its cold and icy out so stay indoors, I don't want you to chance anything, okay." She told them and waited for a response.
"Yes, I won't let him out of my sight. He won't have to lift a finger." Itachi told her and got a hey from Deidara. He wasn't bedridden yet, he could still cook, clean, and shovel the snow but...he guessed that he could listen to them but he knew that this type of treatment was going to get old fast. Sitting up he made a move to get off the table but was stopped. " I still need to get the blood work from you." Tsunade told him, slipping on yet another pair of gloves. She produced three tubes and needles, upon seeing them he damn near fainted.

Walking down to the cafeteria, that looked more like the food quart of some mall, he pondered over the pregnancy. He was so nervous about telling everyone the good news, as he held onto the ultrasound images Tsunade gave him. How would they take it? What would be their reaction? Dei didn't think that Itachi's parents knew about his condition...but how would they take the news that he was carrying yet another grandchild of theirs.
"Relax," Itachi told him as he pulled his pregnant fiancé next to him. He finally got the chance to rub his hands all over Dei's tummy, and he loved it until they were kicked out the room. She could have let them stay in there for a bit longer. But as they walked on he slipped his hand down to Deidara's stomach and started caressing it again, he could definitely get used to this.
"You must love doing that," Dei said as he shivered at the touch. He was already getting spoiled...this whole house arrest thing might not be so bad after all, he was loving the attention and so was their child.
"We're here," Itachi stated, jerking Deidara out of his thoughts. What were they going to do now, he was nervous again as he gripped the images of their baby, Itachi opened the door. Dei was pushed a little to start walking again and when he did the first thing he heard was an ear splitting scream. He watched as a blur of blonde made his way towards him.
"I just knew it!" Naruto told him happily, hugging the startled blonde in his arms. He started to relax and soon found himself laughing at Naruto. The blonde must have been waiting and watching the doors like a hawk. He was happy that one of his close friends...family was this excited about him, them, as he let a hand touch his stomach. It was the first time since the news. He was scared that if he touched it, it wouldn't be true anymore.
"...knew right when you walked through the door that you had great news. I also noticed the ultrasounds, is one for me?" Naruto asked as Dei tuned back in on what the blonde was saying.
"Yup, one for everyone... if they want it." Dei said and gave Naruto one and looked behind them to the group of people making their way over. He smiled when the twins came to him with their little hands out.
"I wants one uncle DeiDei," Natsu said as he chewed his last chicken nugget.
"Can I have one?" Yuki asked politely, and Deidara smiled at both boys handing them their own copies of their cousin, "Yes you guys can, you see your little cousin?" Deidara asked.
"Yes." They said running away talking about getting a cousin.
"Hey, walk don't run." Jiraiya scolded as he walked up, "I'd like to see my future great-grand too if you don't mind." Smiling Deidara gladly handed the mountain of a man one. He just loved Naruto's family, since the day he met them.
Taking the picture, "Thanks I can already tell that they'll be a beauty. I have to go now, gotta finish my story before the deadline." Turning to leave but stopped when Deidara asked him a question, "Why did you wait?" He really wanted to know.
"How could I not? I wanted to make sure that everything was alright with you, I do...well me and Tsunade see you as our grandchild. Even though we didn't say anything about the twins we still spent time with you. Plus Tsunade has been working hard on trying to find something to help you, and it worked." He said touching Deidara's stomach. "She wouldn't bring work home with her if it wasn't for someone she loved." With those parting words he left. Dei was so touched, seeing all the people that were there for him.
Sasuke spoke up as he wanted to change the mood, "You do know, the reason we can tell you're pregnant is by that overbearing presence in back of you." He said wrapping his arms around Naruto. He had to laugh, Itachi was already giving people glares. Was he like that? Nah.
"What are you talking about?" Dei asked turning around and face palm at what he saw. Do men really act like this? Well...he just thought that it was Sasuke due to the fact that this was his first time being with Naruto during a pregnancy but looking at he-man Itachi, he was at a loss for words. Laughing he went to the raven who was giving some brown haired doctor a stare down, poor man didn't know what hit him. Wrapping his arms around Itachi's neck, he tilted his head back, "Baby, you can't go around acting like this in here." He said laughing when Itachi raised an elegant brow.
"Why can't I?" He asked putting his arms around Deidara, "The guy deserved it for looking at you with his lust filled eyes. The bastard is lucky that I didn't do anything but if I did we are in the right place for giving him a much deserved beating."
Shaking his head for the millionth time that day, he turned to look at Naruto who was Scolding Sasuke for cursing out a guy for staring too long at his blonde. Talking he asked Naruto, "What did we get ourselves into?"
"I have no idea but lets get out of here before they decide to team up." Naruto said smiling but had to grab Sasuke before he did something that he'd regret. Yes, if Tsunade found out that they were making this much ruckus they'd be skinned.
Dei pulled away from Itachi and noticed that he still had two copies of the ultrasound left, Itachi had their copies already, so...these two belonged to his parents. They were never that close, but they were on speaking grounds now. His mom have been branching out to him for a while now, they did go shopping together and ate out but it was Fugaku who was still a bit cold towards him. He looked up when he heard Naruto's voice getting further away and a stern voice saying let them have some privacy. Looking to his left he gasped, hoping that it wasn't as loud as he thought it sounded. The Uchiha's were standing in front of him, let him clarify, Mikoto and Fugaku were standing there looking at him.
He felt Itachi at his back like a solid wall of support and strength. He could do this, they were going to be in his life more now that he was pregnant. Taking a deep breath he calmed his nerves but before he could muster up some words Fugaku spoke up first.
"Are those for us? Because I don't want to have to go chase Tsunade down asking for an image of my future grandchild." He said laughing a bit, Mikoto shook her head knowing that he probably would do just that. She watched as Itachi stepped forward, beside Deidara and grabbed his hand but stayed silent.
Dei looked at Itachi and squeezed his hand, he got the message loud and clear. This was something he had to do and Itachi was staying out of it, "Yes they are for you...if you want it..." He said leaving it at that.
"Why wouldn't we? I know we had our differences in the past but that wouldn't stop us...me from wanting to be in my grandchilds life or yours for that matter." Fugaku said moving towards Dei who tightened his grip on Itachi's hand. He didn't know what to do, his own parents erased his existence from their lives but these people who didn't want him with their son accepted him over time. They weren't the best of friends but they started treating him more like they did Naruto. Fugaku and Naruto, he noticed weren't as talkative like he was with Mikoto, so he guessed Fugaku didn't talk that much with either of them. Which sadly put his mind at ease, he thought that the treatment was just for him but he learned, that was just the way the older Uchiha dealt with people.
He was suddenly embraced and didn't know how to react, but he soon let go of Itachi's hand and returned the hug...smiling a bit. "I'm sorry if I haven't been the best person to get along with but I realized long ago that you make Itachi happy and that's all I've ever wanted for him. To be happy. You're also making me a grandfather again, how can I not be happy with that news. But you're a part of this family, have been for years...even I acknowledged that and now we have another addition coming. Two to be exact, how could this old man not be overjoyed."
"I want to thank you for sticking by my son's side and making him happy." Fugaku leaned back and looked Dei in the eyes. Grabbing the blondes flustered face he kissed his forehead in a fatherly way and stepped back.
Deidara didn't know what to do as he tried to wipe away the tears as they fell, "I'm not crying..." He muttered to himself as he turned to Itachi, who hugged him. He missed the thank you, Itachi gave his father. He was happy that Deidara finally felt like he belonged. Its been so long since he seen the blonde truly excited about something, that it warmed his heart.
"Now that the family is back together lets get out of here, hospitals give me the heebie-jeebies," Naruto said rubbing his arms. The cafeteria was located near the sick patient ward. They had to walk past it to get there, which made it far away from the maternity ward where he'd have preferred to be. Looking at adorable newborns.
"You're right, its time I take this one home." Itachi said as he cut his eyes in the direction Dei was standing. "Hey, I told you that I'm fine already. Plus I'm not tired but I am hungry." He told Itachi.
"Hmmm we could grab something from your favorite Italian place on our way home." Yeees Dei thought as they headed for the door, "Wait I thought we were taking the boys?"
"No, we decided to take them seeing as you guys are in no condition to care for two rambunctious boys." Fugaku stated shaking his head at all the noise the two were making.
"Its fine Dei, relax...at least one of us will be." Naruto told him, " The house is going through a face lift at the moment. The guest room upstairs is going to be Yuki's new room and my office is going to be the babies room, so we have to clear all that out. Plus I want to add a solarium to the side of the house. That's going to take time and construction but that's not going to happen just yet. But I do want to have it all finished before the baby is due. We already found an amazing contractor and I've already did the sketches for the boys room, Natsu's too, since he want something new." Naruto explained, "Yeah I'm going to be busy bee."
"Where are you guys going to stay at during the renovation?" Dei asked leaning against Itachi.
"That's a good question." Minato stated as he listened to everything that was going on. This was the first time he's hearing of this.
" ..." Naruto pondered the question, Sasuke already gave his apartment up. They couldn't go there...honestly he didn't want to go to his parents house or Sasuke's for that matter. Maybe they could stay with Haku or Shikamaru. As if sensing his hesitation Dei saved him, " You could stay with us...and you can help me figure out which room we should use for the baby and what I want it to look like."
"That would be great!" Naruto said as he watched their parents sigh...was that relief? Nah it couldn't be...they'd want to spend as much time with Natsu and Yuki as possible.
"The kids can always stay with one of us." Kushina told them as she pointed to herself and Mikoto. They just didn't want to deal with a pregnant Naruto and a horny Sasuke, but the kids were a-ok in their book.
"That would be nice, but don't go changing your minds later." Naruto said as he handed the boys over to Fugaku, We'll bring their overnight bag later." Naruto told them as he started moving to the exit, with Sasuke hot on his heels.
"Dei, I seriously hope you're having a girl. It's waaay to many men in this family." Naruto stated with a smile.
"Tell me about it!" Deidara laughed as Itachi pulled him against his side.
When they made it out of the cafeteria Sasuke wrapped his arm across Naruto's shoulder, hugging him close. Unbeknownst to the two couples they were identical. The two ravens lowered therir heads whispering in their blondes ear,
"I love you."
