Authors Note: I AM A HORRIBLE PERSON! Lol. I apologize to everyone who -has read my story in the past and I disappointed by not posting another chapter sooner. I actually spent the past 3 days or so editing my previous chapters for horrible grammar and non-descriptive items so please go and check it out, if only to refresh your memory of the story. Welcome back and enjoy the story! :)
The story is going to take a slightly darker turn, so if you wanted a fluff fic, I am sorry but that isn't how I'm writing it. This chapter also may have abuse and rape triggers for some people, so please beware before you read. I'll put in a bolded note after it is finished (it's part of a dream she has) so you can read the chapter. Possible triggers starts with the first paragraph so skip until you find the note from me! It will have a brief, non-trigger description of what happened in all caps so you can find it easier.
She was running, heart racing, down the hallway of her house. That voice was calling to her again, promising pain and torture like so many times before. She stumbled and went flying, her wand disappearing somewhere in the shadows. The shadow that was following her was on her like a hawk. She decided to be brave this time and face him. Slowly getting to her knees, she turned and faced the monster of her memories. His blue eyes shone with malice and insanity but he was relaxed, like he always was. To someone who didn't know him, the Quidditch player build, the red hair, and that smile were enough to draw multiple women in a matter of minutes, many of which were brought home the same night. His reputation from the war as a hero didn't hinder with the attraction either.
"Why were you running dear?" Ron's honeyed voice asked as his hand gripped her arm tighter than necessary.
Her voice trembled slightly as she answered. "I don't want to be with you anymore."
"Excuse me?" his tone had a dangerous edge to it.
"You heard me, I am leaving. I'm done with your abusive and cheating ways. I'm done with the girls drunkenly trying to sneak through the house after you're done with them and you altering their memories thinking it was a beautiful time before pushing them out the door into the night. I'm done with being terrified of everything I do, wondering if it's going to make you mad." Tears started rolling down her face as his darkened. "Ginny is waiting for me outside and if I'm not out in 5 minutes she's coming in to get me."
He grabbed her and shoved her down the hall, keeping a tight grip on her the whole time. "Well then I'll make sure I fuck you really fast." He waved his hand and the door closed and locked. The sting of his hand rang out against the walls as she fell to the floor again, this time not on accident. Taking a second to wipe the blood now pooling at the corner of her mouth, she stood up again. Hermione spat blood out of her mouth towards Ron and stood straight, looked him in the eye. He shoved her onto the bed and mumbled a curse under his breath that made restraints slither out and attach themselves to her wrists and ankles. She tried to scream but found that he had at some point done a Tongue-Tying curse as well. He ripped her pants off, completely destroying them as he took his off and his erection came flying out of his pants.
He straddled her and came up to her ear biting and almost drawing blood, his slightly drunken breath stinking the air around her. He grabbed her face in his hands so she couldn't turn away.
"Tell you what. You tell Ginny you changed your mind and that you don't want to leave and I'll let you go and we can make sweet, passionate love. What do you say?"
Her eyes told him to go to hell as she brought her head up to smack his. He reeled back and grinned, shoving himself into her. If Hermione could have screamed, she would have. She wasn't wet in the slightest and his cock seemed to swell to twice the size when he was raping her versus when they actually had sex. She almost fainted from the pain as he shoved himself into her repeatedly, using the blood from her tearing as his lubricant. He kept going faster and deeper as the seconds passed like molasses. His loud groans of pleasure started fading away as she started falling unconscious.
She was half passed out and already in a state of otherworldliness when she faintly heard a door blow open and shouting. All of a sudden the weight that was on top of her was gone, and she felt something or someone trying to get whatever was round her wrists and ankles off her. Hermione vaguely heard a voice trying to talk to her but she couldn't tell what they were saying.
And then she blacked out.
**DREAM IS DONE, HERE IS THE SYNOPSIS: HERMIONE IS WITH RON AT THE TIME OF THE DREAM AND HE DOESN'T TREAT HER RIGHT. SHE TELLS HIM SHE IS LEAVING AND HE TRIES TO GET AT HER ONE LAST TIME. SOMEONE BLOWS OPEN THE DOOR AND RESCUES HER. SHE BLACKS OUT, DREAM ENDS, AND SHE WAKES UP**
Hermione bolted up, covered in sweat and panting. She scrambled out of bed and stubbed her toe on something, she wasn't sure what, but to be honest she didn't care. She turned the shower on but it couldn't get hot fast enough. She bounced around the bathroom and jumped in as soon as she saw steam. Hermione took the loofah that was in arms reach and scrubbed every inch of her skin raw for a half hour, not even caring that her raw skin was being burned by the scalding water. She sat there for another half hour in the hot water, hic-crying because of the stupid flashback dream she had. She thought she had stopped having the dream, but every time she got happy it came back.
Hermione sighed, the hiccups still there but the tears practically gone. She finally started to realize how badly her skin was hurting so she turned the shower off and wrapped herself up in a huge fluffy towel and sat on the edge of the tub next to the bed. She started to do one of the breathing exercises Ginny had taught her but she heard a small tapping on her bedroom window. Curious, she looked at the time and realize that it was past noon. Getting up and crossing into the bedroom, Hermione realized that there were two owls tapping, not just one, and they both had a black seal on the letters she carried. She opened the window, shivering at the breeze that blew in. She could tell that one had been waiting out there for quite a while, its feathers looked very ruffled and it didn't look too pleased with her just answering their call. Carefully maneuvering around the disgruntled bird, she got both of the letters and the first bird took off through the still open window while the other one waited for a response. She went to go close the window, but the breeze felt good on her skin, so she kept it open. She grabbed the letter from the first bird and opened it.
My dearest guest Hermione,
Tonight was wonderful and I hope that you would join me once again in two days' time for another dinner. Please respond as soon as possible so that I may make arrangements.
Your rose
Oops, she thought. No wonder the bird was upset, it had been sitting out there since last night. At least it had a perch! She opened up the other letter.
Hermione,
I realize that I may have been presumptuous the other night about dinner but you could have at least owled me and told me you didn't want to do dinner tonight. I would like to have my owl back at the very least. Hope you have been doing well.
Hermione gasped in surprise and looked at her muggle watch that told her what day it was. It was indeed 2 days after the meal, the day that her host wanted to have dinner with her again. She ran to the desk sitting along the opposite wall and grabbed a quill to scribble out a response on the back of the second note.
My gracious host,
I'm so sorry for the late response, apparently I slept for a day and a half and I am quite disoriented at the moment. If you would please forgive me, I would like to have a meal with you, if you still wish to. Please forgive me and my rudeness, if not, I shall see you at the ball.
Hermione grabbed a ribbon to tie the letter off and gave it to the owl. It grabbed a hold of it and took off through the window. She stood there for a moment, and hoped that it wasn't too late and that she hadn't angered her host too much.
THANK YOU GUYS! Like I said at the beginning of the chapter, I'm so sorry it took me this long to get y'all another chapter. Granted it's a little dark, but don't the best stories have a little bit of darkness in them? I promise the next chapter will be much more uplifting! I hope you will all forgive me and I'm already working on chapter 5, so I should have it out hopefully within the next week or two. I love you all and thank you for reading my story again :) -Ashley
